Mahi mango salsa bowl
Jann S.

Bottom line. Great beach bar and grill. Love the fresh fish. I had the grilled mahi mango salsa bowl. It's delicious! The rice and beans are so flavorful. The mango salsa is sweet and spicy and goes great with the mahi. The best part is the fried plantains. OMG! Service was quick and friendly. They were packed and were able to turn around the tables quickly.

UPDATE - Back for another round of good food. This time a snack before heading home from the beach. We got the New England style clam chowder (one of us got the cup, the other the bowl), and we shared the Twin Fin, a delicious combo of shrimp, grouper or clam strips. We chose the shrimp and clams. It comes with fries. Large portion enough to share. Good atmosphere, great service. Definitely recommend.

An eclectic menu that actually delivers LongDoggers is one of those rare places with an eclectic menu where everything we've tried actually works. We've all been to restaurants with big menus that only execute one category well--or where anything outside their comfort zone falls flat. That wasn't the case here. This was our second visit, returning two years after our first stop while traveling to the drive-thru Bethlehem at Lakewood Park Church (phenomenal and highly recommended). Driving down again in mid-December for the same event, we considered trying somewhere new--but the memory of LongDoggers brought us back. The atmosphere is casual with a sports-bar vibe, and the food is genuinely good. No food photos this time--we were too hungry to wait --but I did grab pictures of the menu. Our table ordered: * Blackened Shrimp Lettuce Tacos * Banzai Shrimp Bowl * Cool Ranch Chicken Sandwich * Buffalo Chicken Wrap Every dish was a hit. Most of what we ordered landed around the $15 range, with the total going up if you upgrade your side. Portions were solid and the quality matched the price point. Service was friendly and well-paced--prompt without hovering. Our server shared the specials and offered helpful recommendations. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. We arrived around 1:00 pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately in a booth inside. When we left, there was a noticeable line and a wait. A great stop if you want a relaxed atmosphere and a varied menu that's executed well.

Awesome place. Every now and then a hotdog is just what is needed. The kids hotdogs are huge and my daughter loves it. The kids meals also allow the kids to pick their own ice cream. She was a big fan of that. If you're in the area, you definitely gotta check it out.

Five of us on a late lunch, place was packed inside but the covered and enclosed patio was available. Nice and cozy with multiple heaters going ( it was a windy and chilly day for central Florida). We all had pint of Hatteras draft beer and our delicious y and very quickly. Overall a great place to spend some time with friends.

This place has a nice outdoor seating area. They also have happy hour menu with food and drinks along with weekly lunch specials. I decided to get the mahi sandwich it was delicious. They have a bout 4 tv's outside and fans which keep the outdoor area pretty cool. Some outdoor games to stay busy while waiting on your food. Nice family friendly place will definitely recommend and return.

First time here. The place was much larger than we expected. Plenty of seating. Friendly and helpful staff. We were sat in a booth. Overall the food was tasty and we would eat it again. However, the buns were a bit dry and the plantains were burnt and dry as well. Bought a T-shirt (we were visiting from out of state).

Came here for lunch during a work trip and it was the perfect break spot! Really cool beachy vibes in the covered outside and inside. I got the summer salad and it was fab!! A good lunch portion, so refreshing and fresh ingredients. We ordered to go and ate there but the servers were still very nice and attentive to us.

To say I had multiple people recommend Long Doggers to me and defined it as an institution, would be an understatement. Whether it was local guides, shop owners, our Airbnb host, we had multiple people suggest this local chain. The fact that there are multiple locations within a short radius of each other gave further weight to this discussion. We visited long dog is in Cocoa Beach after looking around the area and enjoying a walk down on the beach. Although we are already planning on going to this location we did see that there was a lunch offer which we did take up, which was a fantastic deal, a drink, main and chips, this may or may not be a limited time offering but if it's available it's a great deal! If not the prices were fair regardless. The staff were great and really helpful despite our various questions. The locations, of which we passed three, were all nicely decorated, designed and well thought out. We got our food promptly and it was all delicious and exactly what we needed after a few hours in the sand. We will be back, perhaps to one of the other locations next time!

We ate so so much, that this baby is going home! Best place for wings, dogs, grits, platains, tacos you name it! Service is always the best and atmosphere is perfect!

Twin fin combo

My husband and I love this place so much that we went an hour out of our way home from Thanksgiving to stop to get an early dinner before heading home. The ambiance is great with all the surfing stuff all around and sports on all the TVs. The food just as great as we remembered. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, we love it. I ordered the twin combo with the shrimp and grouper. I also love the tartar sauce. They have there . It was fabulous and of course you have to get the coleslaw. I ordered too because I love it so much. My grouper and shrimp were cooked to perfection and just delicious. My husband got the mahi sandwich, that was fresh and it was so delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu and it was well worth going out of our way to stop my other regret is they don't have one closer to where I live because we'd be there every other week!

Place has easy to get into parking area Florida style sitting - out and in. We sat outside. We were promptly seated at 11. When we left, there wasn't much seating Order the beach salad. It was good. It was as described in menu. Our waitress was Sam and she did a fine job but mgmt pulled her to do something else which was disappointing but life went on.

Is Long Doggers dog friendly?

I did see a dog there in the patio area outside while we were dining there, it didn't seem to be an issue :-)

The ambiance is that of every other bar, which in itself isn't bad but it is when you don't do anything to really stand out. I ordered the southern burger and their special of deviled eggs. The deviled eggs were really good but only 6 half eggs was $12. Way overpriced in my opinion. The burger looked really good but for $22 for the burger and the fries, it better be top notch. Burger came out over done, with the entire bottom bun completely soaked in juice. It basically fell apart by the end of the meal. I will say the fries were really good but for $45 with a tip FOR ONE PERSON this place is way over priced for what you get. I also thought my service was just okay as well. Wouldn't recommend this place and won't be back.

The corned beef was really lean , moist, tender, and very flavorful. What a great meal. They had traditional Irish music. Great atmosphere for the holiday. We had a great time.

We grabbed seats at the bar, and right out of the gate the experience was mission-ready. The girls behind the bar were awesome, friendly, attentive, and just had that effortless vibe that makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. Now the food... wow. Everything came out fresh, hot, and absolutely dialed in. The burgers were stacked and juicy, the sandwiches loaded, and those sidewinder fries? Forget it. Crispy, golden perfection. You can tell nothing sat under a heat lamp, this was all cooked to order and launched straight to the table. Best way I can describe it given the location... This wasn't just good food, it was a full-on flavor liftoff. When we arrived, we did notice the outside could use a little TLC, but once inside, it was very clean and tidy. We were immediately greeted by both the hostess and bartender, and they were very friendly. We were seated right away and our drink orders were taken quickly. It took us a few minutes to go through the menu since we weren't familiar with the restaurant, and there are quite a few items to choose from. We ordered the "Crack Mac Snack" (macaroni and cheese) and added pulled pork and the biscuit bread. The food came out quickly, and we were not disappointed. The biscuit bread was absolutely amazing, rich, soft, and delicious (maybe a little too generous with the butter on top, but still delicious). It's a thick, hearty piece, about two inches high and roughly four inches square. The mac and cheese was a generous portion and easily enough to share, and it was really good. The homemade BBQ sauce was also a highlight. The only slight miss was my husband's Coke, which wasn't very sweet, possibly a calibration issue with the machine. Overall, this is definitely a spot worth trying if you're in Cocoa Beach and want something different. There's a lot on the menu, and we'll definitely be back.
