VERY POOR MECHANIC SERVICE: After paying nearly $1,000 in repairs, a prompt on my dashboard said to immediately pull over because the oil pressure was high and that driving further would damage the motor. VERY POOR INTEGRITY: He stated I needed a part that would equate to a $4,000 bill. I found the same part for $150 online within seconds online. He charged me $326 for a standard Nevada smog check that the Nevada Emissions Program legally caps at $73.00. I was referred to him because my friend was happy to have not paid the diagnostic fee in the past. When I received the receipt he had charged me for the diagnostic ($250.00) and refused to remove it from the final amount. Even though his website clearly states that the diagnostic is free! VERY POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES: He stated he was too busy to complete the receipt at the time of pick but knew the total amount. I believed him and when I received the receipt the totals did not match up. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: When I confronted him about this Jose was defensive at first and then promised to make the refunds. It's been nearly a week and no refunds were administered. I have reported him to the Better Business Bureau of Nevada and posted this on any social media platform that he is listed under. BOTTOM LINE: RUN! That was easily the most informative oil change/fluid check/tire rotation that I've ever received. He kept me in the loop about my vehicle the entire time he had it in the back. He gave me many options as far as repairs and advice if I do it myself. He even went to the extent of showing me how my cabin air filter should be put in as I stated I wanted to do that part myself. In total i paid $65 for a tire rotation, multi point inspection and full synthetic oil change which i think is a great price especially for the service provided. My husband and I purchased a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change on our 2017 Kia Soul Plus. I called several days ago and scheduled a time and day they had available for the oil change. This morning at 10:00 am we arrived with our Kia for the oil change. We were always kept in the know of how the oil change was proceeding. It was recommended that we have all four tires rotated, for additional $5.00 a tire. We went with the recommendation. Next, it was brought to our attention that the cabin filter and outside filter be changed for an additional $18.00 and $20.00. Again, we had no problem doing this as we bought our Kia Soul used in December of 2018; we have had one other oil change in the past since we bought it. We had to wait a little longer for the parts to come but it wasn't excessive. Michael runs the front and he was not only helpful, but he was friendly, honest and he educated us about maintenance on our vehicle. Visited along Life today after having a terrible experience with another place in N Las Vegas getting my husbands oil changed yesterday. They were quick and efficient, stayed true to the price they quoted me (the same could not be said for the place from the day before that doubled their prices between me dropping off and picking up my husbands car) and really made me feel comfortable using Long Life Complete Autocare. We will absolutely be returning for our oil change/tire rotation and any additional auto work we need in the future! Pro tip: don't buy the Groupon, just call to make an appointment (definitely need) and then ask about the Groupon. They just matched the Groupon price. I've had this happen all over the Valley, as Groupon takes a good portion of that payment - lots of places suggest you don't actually buy the Groupon but mention it and they'll match it. The man at the front was very friendly. The store is tiny and if you blink going through the small shopping center you'll miss it. Pay attention to the numbers on the door. This is becoming an experience. The question that keeps coming to me is, what makes me any different from all of these amazing customer satisfaction reviews here am seeing with this Groupon. I am one that pays very close attention to detail. Especially with Groupons. Being a business owner, I know Groupon can take a great deal of money away from a service but it does generate clientele. So it's a win win situation for the customer and also the vendor. Before I purchased this Groupon at "Long Life Complete Auto Care" I read the fine print to see if there were any steps that they indeed should report should be done before driving to location and presenting vouchers! There weren't any. The exact wording for directions with this Groupon were, "1. Pull up voucher with our mobile app (or print it out). 2. Present voucher upon arrival. 3. Enjoy!" So I pulled up with the mobile app, presented my voucher, but it was not a smooth experience to the lease. I knew there would be complications immediately driving to the back and seeing a worker, (not doing any work, no cars in the drive way I must add.) His first question was, did you make an appointment? I stated no, the Groupon does not say you need to make an appointment. He directed me to the front office. Entering the front office, the same question was asked, "did you make an appointment?" Again, "I said no. The Groupon has directions and states pull up, present voucher and enjoy! It doesn't mention appointment." The guy then says he will "see" if I can be seen without appointment. I informed I would hope so, I have driven about 20 miles to get here and crossed other offered Groupons reading reviews and chose this location to service my vehicle. He stated "well you could have driven from Los Angeles, that wouldn't be my problem! Please wait and I'll see if someone can take you there's only two of us here." AGAIN, I must reiterate. No cars being worked on. The guy as he was talking to him was mopping.... All of a sudden, a car pulls up. He comes out and states, "okay we can't see you now. But we can see you at 4pm. However, if you can cancel the Groupon and pay with cash we can take you now... we have a car we're working on." So I said, "4 will be fine. I'll drive to Walmart in the meantime but I'm not cancelling and paying cash." This Groupon was 75 percent off. That's not my problem. So currently I am at chili's waiting till 4pm to get my car serviced. Stand by: hopefully the next interaction will be better. I will make sure they understand everything offered in the Groupon must be done. I'll be back with the remainder of this experience after 4pm. UPDATE: I just decided to not say much. Just proceed. As I walked into the small office that doubles as a cellphone repair shop(really classy btw) the owner or manager was arguing with another customer in a rude fasion. After listening to that, I got my own extremely rude greeting which resulted in this guy sticking the "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" sign in my face and telling me to get out!! Listen I'm no angel, but this guy is a huge dick! Which is probably why he has to run 2 businesses out a 300 square foot office! You can't treat customers that way and last. I will try to make this as short as possible: Beware!!! Beware!!! Beware!!! I have used long life complete auto care for their cheap Groupon oil changes and a wheel bearing. Joe was always polite and kind and I believe we built a rapport, sadly was I mistaken. My sonata suddenly losses power during acceleration and I can smell burning oil. Next day, rough start, I call Joe and we agree to bring him the car. My sonata was towed on November 17 . I get sent an invoice for $140 diagnostic (seems reasonable.) WAITING. December 3,2022 Joe says my turbo is done and needs to be replaced. Omg, no! But now it's been 3 weeks, so Im like let's replace it.......... December 17, 2022, Joe calls and says the car is ready!! Yay!! Arrive at the shop and Joe talks to me for 30 + minutes about I have to be very careful, i ask if it's fixed, he says yes. So off I go, Car starts fine, but I notice hesitation. I'm in denial, but sadly couldn't even make it home. Can't go above 30MPH!! Fast forward, the car has now I have been back to the shop 3 more times, car still not fixed!! January 30, he says it's ready. I go down there, he hands me the keys, I start the car and now there's a new rattling noise! And won't accelerate! Go back and Joe now drives the car : he mashes the gas pedal he red lines my car (55-6000RPM) extreme hesitation and no acceleration. Joe says to me - "I don't know what you did to the car, it was fine this morning. You did something to it. I can NO LONGER HELP YOU, you did something to the car!"And still as of today 02-03-2023 my car is undrivable, it was towed home and sits in my garage.Now that I have my car and am overlooking everything. I noticed he put the WRONG TYPE OF OIL IN MY CAR, it clearly states on my invoice he put 10w-30, MY oil cap says 5w-20!!! He also said he test drove it, but the car literally has 0.72 more miles than when it was dropped off the last time for him to properly fix. Joe had my car from January 16 through January 30 saying I'm waiting for a part. But reality my car was just parked. Beware, beware beware! Again, I paid in full on 12-17-2022 for loss of power and leaking oil, Joe said it was my turbo, and still my car has no power and leaking oil. Look at the vague invoice, November 17,2022 invoice: wrong oil, Joe had my car from November 17through January 30,2023 and my car drives exactly the same way it did on November 16! No ACCELERATION!! Run run run --- please take heed- I wouldn't waste the hours of my time leaving detailed reviews, if it didn't happen. honestly, it's all I have, I'm financially strapped from all of this. like a dominos affect, Three months I travel back and forth, pay for towing trips, paying for Ubers to and from work, my kids games on Saturday's, give every penny in savings to fix my car, and there no light at the end of the tunnel. I purchased a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation. I called ahead for an appointment first thing in the morning and was given a slot at 3pm. I told them it was a Groupon, and I was told I'd be sent a link to complete the detail for my appointment. I received the link, completed the detail (mileage, year, make, model, etc). When I arrived I was told it would cost an additional $31. This was for two more quarts of oil and a premium oil filter. I told the owner I didn't need a premium oil filter for my truck and he suggested I skip changing the oil filter and just replace the oil!!?? WTF? Somewhere around that time I called him a f-ing crook. He got upset and threatened to kick me out. I asked for my Groupon money back and he said that's between me and Groupon. Since I was there, and for $31, I went ahead with the oil change. He was upset and told me to fill out the info on a clipboard. This was all the same info I completed in the link he'd sent me earlier in the day! I pointed that out to him and he said do it or no service. The oil change was fast, 20mins or so. I waited in their clean waiting area puzzling over the cellphone gear. When done, I pay for the two extra quarts (which is reasonable) and the 'premium' filter. He couldn't tell me anything about this premium filter I just shelled out for. I felt like claiming a premium filter was a way to offset the cost of honoring the Groupon. I left and found some papers in my truck they'd left, from what looked like another customer. I returned them to a nonplussed owner. As I'm driving I notice it didn't feel like the tires were rotated. I call and ask if he rotated the tires. He told me a tire rotation wasn't needed. I insisted it was. He then said, after some back and forth, that he didn't do it because my rims were too large (they're factory stock 18" rims). I just hung up. Deceptive. Dishonest. I'd never trust this person with my vehicle. If he tried to hide that he didn't rotate my tires, avoided the filter questions, what else did he do or not do. $39 Groupon. $31 in extras = $70. Not much of a savings plus the aggravation and that nasty feeling like I've been ripped off. I use to work in motorsports. Trust me, you should never use this place. There are plenty of alternatives that will be fair and do a good job. P.S. When half of the business is selling cellphone cases and repairing cellphones, you (and I) do have to wonder why I just didn't walk out upon seeing that. read more

I bought the Groupon so here's my experience! 1. Groupon says to make an appointment so obviously do that. I know some places you can walk in and get an oil change, but this Groupon also includes a tire rotation and some sort of vehicle inspection. Idk where you can walk in and can get all of those things done without an appointment, so if you want to make sure you'll be seen, just call and make the damn appointment. Save yourself the headache. 2. This place definitely looks like an office building and they also do electronics/phone repairs...super weird, so don't think you're pulling up into a Jiffy Lube-looking business. Inside they have comfy couches and even an extension cord so you can charge your electronics while you wait (it's the little things in life ya know). 3. I was prepared to be there for at least 1.5 hours so I brought snacks and had shows to watch on my phone...30 minutes later my car was done. I had to pay like $12 for the disposal fee or something, but all together, that's still less expensive than going to a more known auto care place. They didn't try to upsell me or anything. Just did what I came here for. 3. All in all, a great experience. So I don't even know where to start! These guys are just plain awesome. Not only did they take care of me, but they really cared. They don't nickle and dime you. I'm pregnant and have a 1 year old and made a dumb mistake by asking them to change the wrong brake pads. After I left I noticed it still squeaked. I brought it right back and they helped me. Being that I already paid they just wanted to make sure my car was safe. I didn't have enough to do front and back. They took care of me anyway! I got an oil change there as well. When I arrived he asked if I made an appointment, I said no, the worker proceeded to go back and talk to "the washer" he comes back and says that they can't book a car wash until August 4th, today is July 1st. The service was excellent! I came in because my husband got a Groupon to have my brake pads changed. Front and rear. Joe greeted me with a pleasant smile and informed me he will do a full brake inspection before doing anything. My rotors needed to be replaced as well he discovered. When I left to run my errands he also discovered my axel was completely ripped out of the boot and sent me a picture of it. He kept me well informed as he worked on my car and I do appreciate that. Most mechanics I have ran into will get it done and not inform me of anything until it was payment time. I saw a Groupon for Oil change, tire rotation for $39. I called to see if I needed an appointment, the man said you don't have to but the Groupon, we'll honor the price. They also said they could stay open later for me. I thought this was great, I think I've found a new mechanic I could trust! It's located in an industrial office area, I didn't see a garage so I called again to be sure I was at the right place. No answer. So I find the place told him I was told that the Groupon price would be honored. So he said ok, asked type of Car I have and started looking stuff up and writing stuff down. 5 mins later, he said my total is $52 because the Groupon covers oil change only, no filter or disposal fee.
