I love long wongs, especially the one down in phoenix. Fantastic wings. Though, the customer service of this location was terrible. I work in a restaurant and performing good customer service is not that hard. We got the wrong order and called to see if we can get it fixed and get the correct order. In many words the lady on the phone said we were lying and that we got the right thing because her cooks assured her we got the right thing. She then made us send photos of the wings that we received (the wrong ones) as a form of proof?? I'm never the type to write reviews but telling your customer they're essentially lying is childish and non professional. We eventually got the correct order after a horrible back and forth with what I assume is the manager. After yelling at BOTH my parents who were nothing but kind. I've never met a woman who acted more like a child. The wings on the right are what we got, and the left is what we originally asked for. And she said those are the same wings and that both are sauced the same. We even did a taste test, comparing the two and it was zero competition, you could not convince a group of 6 that those wings were even remotely similar. Like I said we are not the type to complain when things get messed up cause these things happen, but it's the way you handle it that matters. Do better. Love this place! We were just driving down the highway looking Dr something to catch my eye and as a last resort opted for this. I'm so glad we did, the staff are chill as is the ambiance. Very fun and inviting, plus they have an arcade! The stick on PacMan could use some attention though They have a good selection of craft beer at a decent price. We ordered a cheese pizza for less than $20. Sauce was great, just the right amount of cheese, the crust could use some flavor. It had garlic on it but salt would have helped make it pop. We've been here about twice now. I never really went to the ones in the valley much before we moved. Not much up here in the way of wings and pizza so we gave it a shot. We really did enjoy the boneless wings! The chicken is decent quality. We didnt get any chewy or gristle in any of it. We tried the Medium wings and they were awesome! Good size pieces. We then split a shroom burger. The burger was subpar. I believe it was the bun. Just a very basic burger. I believe the fries were just average too. 2nd time we came we split a Pizza with mushrooms and more boneless wings. The pizza was sort of a let down. Hardly any sauce on it. The wings were spot on again though! This time we got the Parmesan Garlic and the Honey Hot wings. Those were awesome! Good sauce flavor. Parm ones could have had more sauce on them but whatever. Went to Long Wongs for dinner with some friends. It was raining and the parking lot was quite muddy. The restaurant itself was somewhat small. The booths were all wooden and decent sized. They could probably hold six adults somewhat comfortably. I ordered a cheesesteak and my wife ordered a cheeseburger plain. The cheesesteak was too finely chopped for my taste and mediocre at best. The fries were pretty good. The onion rings appetizer was also pretty decent. We had to send my wife's cheeseburger back because it was far from plain. When it came back, it was plain, but inedible. The meat was cold, the cheese was not melted and the bun was not cooked all the way. Needless to say, we will not be going back to Long Wongs. While I neglected to ask our friends about their food, I did notice that their plates were far from empty. read more

We ate in the bar area of the Love Shack. They were busy but practiced distanced seating. Unfortunately, that's where their safety practices ended. Two servers wore their masks around the chin and ours didn't cover her nose. One guy didn't have one at all. One server was wrapping clean silverware with napkins without her mask on. Food was ok. I had enjoyed eating outside at Long Wongs last summer, so was happy to return to take a friend out for her birthday lunch yesterday. It is the first time in my long life that I have actually sent a meal back to the kitchen. We waited 40 minutes for our lunch to be served and then had to track the waitress down. She soon appeared with four plates of cold food. We should have just left at that point, but all four of us sent our plates back and waited another 10 minutes. They came back barely warm. We told the waitress they were still cold and she just shrugged and said the cook said he warmed them. My husband said no to a second beer but she brought one out anyway and charged us for it. When we asked for silverware she said she would have to go in the kitchen and wash some. No apologies, no offer for a discount. We decided we would vote with our feet and just never return, but I decided I should write this review to alert others of the poor quality of the food and the service. We were visiting from Tucson and had to check this place out. The food is really delicious here. I had the green chili hamburger with fries and my partner had the bone in chicken wings. Well....I really wanted to add this place to our regular rotation. We went based on a local's recommendation. I looked online and, despite mixed reviews, I thought our kid would really enjoy the experience. The decor is fun inside and out. A lot of love and detail has been put into the place (didn't go into the separate building which appeared to be more of a bar area so not speaking on that). They have a nice outdoor and pet friendly area, but it was too cold outside and it appeared shut down for the season. They also have a video game room which our kid played in while his food was being prepped! Score for him!! There is a big effort to make great food. It seems that the French fries were fresh cut. Not my favorite fries but good. They served a side of very fresh and unique cucumber salsa or whatever it was with my hubby's sandwich. I believe they make their own buns? My hubby said the bun was great. In fact he liked his chicken sandwich but it was VERY SMALL. Luckily, my portion was HUGE, so I shared with him or he actually would have left hungry! I ordered the fish and chips. I got 3 HUGE pieces of fish, and even after sharing with my hubby, I brought some fish home. It was good but I'm spoiled to my favorite fried fish place in the Valley so in comparison it was again good, but not the best I ever had. The price was amazing at $9.99 for the huge portion!! They offer all you can eat all day on Friday's I think for a buck more. I really missed having some Coleslaw with my fish and chips as apparently it's not included. I think the big think that dampened our experience is that some guys showed up and the waitress offered to turn up the volume on the game for THEM. Sorry,we were there first and we were really enjoying the music!! Our kid had previously commented on how good the songs were that they were playing! He loves his music!! My first impression was confusion... what is this place? Long Wong's sounds like it would be somewhere to get chinese food, but the sign says ribs and pizza. Hmmm... As you walk up to the courtyard, you see an outside, enclosed area with wines growing down a trellis. It looks cozy but kinda funky - like the backyard of a cool aunt of yours that was a hippie back in the day. Upon walking inside, you see there's a bit of a Mexican gulf beach theme. There are sassy signs throughout the interior, and it's semi-dark, with a few TVs showing some games. I was surprised at how busy it was. Only 2 tables were open when we got there around 7:30 on a Friday. The menu included classic American fare - wings, sandwiches, burgers, fries and ribs. I ordered their pulled pork sandwich with fries; my husband got an order of hot wings. It took no more than 15 minutes to get the food out to us, and it was GREAT!! I was especially impressed with the seasoned fries... more like frites. If you've eaten at Diablo Burger in Flagstaff, they kinda reminded me of the frites there. Honestly, I usually have pretty low expectations for restaurants on the mountain, and I'm not a huge fan of American food in the first place - but this was good. We'll definitely be back. read more

We had the supreme, chicken, and cheese. All delicious. They have the 12" and 16" pizza sizes - 2 adults could easily share a 12", if average eaters. My 4-year old son and I shared a 12" and we had left overs. The restaurant decor is eclectic and fun. They have a mini-arcade for kids to play in. GREAT music playing too! The restaurant itself was cold inside, on a very cold day - so we requested to sit by the heaters, which we were able to. Went there last night, sat at the bar. Met a nice couple after ordering wings & coleslaw. Saw their pizza they ordered & it was cooked the way I like mine, so I ordered mine to also be thin crust, well done (stiff as a board). The wings were really good, but coleslaw tasted like cabbage and mayo, no flavor, no S&P, no vinegar, no sugar, just BLAH. My pizza was limp, not well done. Sent it back to be cooked longer. Went there for Sunday night football and dinner. Walked in and sat down at the bar. I waited 5 minutes and during that time the same bartender walked past me 3 times and never said a word. Another bartender walked past me and I yelled at him, so he came over. I asked for a beer list and a menu. He came back with them and I did not see him for another 5 minutes. I looked around and saw 9 tables with people at them and there were 3 people working at serving them, I guess 10 was too many. Got a beer and ordered food. The beer was good but not in a cold glass and the burger was OK. Nothing to come back for. Talked with some nice people and watched the game for about 2 1/2 hours.
