Two things, they've expanded the restaurant, for at least 10 more tables, which is good & also they've expanded their menu, for breakfast & lunch, which is awesome! They used to just have a few sandwich specials, that were ok, but mostly a coffee & tea shop. My husband returned last week & said they're club sandwich was awesome, he should know, he's a loves a good club sandwich. Decent coffee and food for a little place hidden amongst some larger industrial buildings. When you enter you can see a large window that gives you a view of the factory floor where they roast and process the coffee beans. That was kind of cool to see. Although seemingly hidden, there were quite a few people there. I got an iced coffee and my boyfriend got a latte. We split a breakfast burrito, which was good but nothing super special. We attempted to come here at 9am on a Saturday morning. Place was busy and bustling! Location was in an interesting spot in an industrial complex. When we entered we immediately saw our issue that needed overcoming which was securing a table. My wife and I divided and conquered and I was in charge of ordering and hers was to find a table. We both ordered lattes and she ordered a breakfast burrito and I got the waffle breakfast. Our coffees were handed to us while we waited in the awkward cramped space between where you order and where the tables were. Unfortunately they were in to go cups which we found interesting but we waited for our food and a table nonetheless. After 20 mins my wife and I decided to change our order to go so we could at least eat in the car. We received our order and immediately ate in the car. The lattes were subpar and the food did disappoint. The time between hand off and when we ate was less than 5 minutes. My breakfast potatoes were on the under done side and my waffle somehow already soggy. My wife's tortilla was a struggle to cut with plasticware and unfortunately despite the reviews we were not the happiest. I only ordered two drinks and the experience at the counter is a bit unclear. Both were requested to be oat milk. I gave them my husbands name and they called a woman's name for what I thought were my drinks. I waited and then asked, they listed drinks that didn't seem to be mine but were close. I said I had ones with oat milk. The woman just repeated the name on the order so I walked away - someone else thankfully saw me and told me they put my name down wrong, and those were my drinks. I've gone here for breakfast and coffee a few times. This place is definitely a treat. The food is delicious and my personal favorite is the potatoes. I also recommend their iced white chocolate latte. I don't know what they do to that drink but MAN! It's one of the tastiest lattes I've ever had. Be prepared for long lines, this place is VERY popular and usually its hard to find a place to sit. I've come here a few times an hour before closing and its pretty empty. Prices are reasonable. West Coast Hash!!!! It's a bit greasy but it's really comforting and soooo good. The eggs and potatoes smothered with cheese, sour cream, and garlic aioli is absolutely amazing. Also got a vanilla hemp latte and that was perfect. Love the ambience, the friendly staff, and their variety of breakfast and lunch items. It feels like this place is focused on production and money. Quality of food is pretty main stream. Atmosphere is trendy cafeteria. Potatoes cut all the same size. Matcha is super sweet. Ever have one of those mornings where you can't figure out where to get your coffee? I had one of those today. I whipped past Starbucks ( too crowded) , Dutch Bros ( not my favorite) , the turn to Blackrock ( really wrong way today)... next thing I knew I was on Evergreen in deep industrial Hillsboro with no latte. Hmm. Longbottom!! Guess everyone else had the same idea, the parking lot ( which is substantial, really), was FULL. I vultured someone leaving and got a spot. Pretty soon I had a hot delicious lattee and a crispy sweet crumbly chocolate chip scone (yes gluten, yes diet, I know! shut it) and all was well with my universe. Couple things about Longbottom, 1) They're no longer serving barbecue ( low demand they said, but they do serve a variety of lovely breakfasts and nice sandwiches... actually the barbecue was not that good). 2) We mailorder my hubby's oatmeal ( umpqua oats) and our coffee ( Italian Roast) from them and it's easy peasy. We've never had a problem. The people who work there are nice, and it fills a gap in the wilds of the west side. The scone was awesome. read more

I have nothing bad to say about this place. The prices are pretty low compared to other breakfast places. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a great, quick breakfast! Great experience! This is hidden gem in Hillsboro. Their coffee tastes heavenly. Farmers sandwich is one such item that I can eat here all the time. Tried their basil tomato soup. Found it so fresh and tasty. No cream used. I crave for the biscuit that they give with the soup. It taste like croissant. Half soup n half sandwich combo is a good deal. Get to taste both n not pricey at all. Eggnog latte was perfectly bitter strong with bit of sweetness. Kudos to the barista. I am looking forward to try their panini and salads. Highly recommend this place for their uniqueness, cafe atmosphere,friendly staff, freshly brewed coffee and for sandwiches. Yum yum yum. I wish could have explored this place earlier. The coffee was so good that I got a bag of beans. I truly enjoyed their Black Gold Coffee blend (even the decaf). It was just dark enough and brewed so nicely. It doesn't have the acidic aftertaste, which I don't like. It's not so fruity since I prefer the nutty and earthy flavors with a simple taste. The marrionberry scone was amazing too. The scone size, taste, and texture were all on point! I would love to have breakfast here too. Every single time I've come here the wait is ridiculously long no matter if there's two people in line or ten. They have a really hard time serving drinks in the order they were placed, so you're stuck watching people that walked in 5-10 minutes after you get their food/drinks first. You can also have an entire conversation with the person taking your order about how it's warm/nice out and time for an iced beverage and order your beverage as iced only to receive warm drinks. The number of staff walking around or idly standing around is weird.. maybe they could help speed up the process. At least the coffee is decent. read more

I enjoyed the huge portions of the Chicken Salad Pita for lunch. The grilled and oven roasted chicken breast was chopped nicely and combined with the flavorful cranberries, red onions, celery, Granny Smith apples, roasted pecans and mayonnaise. With all of the sandwiches, you will get a choice of kettle chips or a salad, and a pickle spear as a choice. I opted for the salad with vinaigrette dressing. The salad of mixed greens was great with my sweet and tart dressing. I liked my crisp pickle, too. Of course, the portions were huge so I boxed the other half of my Chicken Salad Pita to eat later. I enjoyed my Chicken Salad Pita since it had just the right amount of mayonnaise ratio to all of the other ingredients. I also liked the crunch when I ate my overflowing Pita. My other family members each got the Farmer's Chicken Salad. It is composed of a variety of organic spring greens, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, and oven roasted chicken. They chose the honey mustard dressing. They both said it was a little too sweet for their salad. One of my family members said that the chicken was too dry. While the other said that she liked the lean chicken. They both ordered the Pomegranate-Orange Spritzer and they both enjoyed it. It was refreshing and tasted great. I also checked in on Yelp, and got a 10% discount taken off on our order. We'll be back soon to try the other sandwiches, soups, and salads as well as breakfast items as well as get their chocolate chip cookies, since they ran out of it when we got there about 1:30p. Cute little lunch place, tucked away in this corner of Hillsboro. They have great sandwiches and coffee. I always end up getting a Farmer's market, a cold vegetarian sandwich- very flavorful on this rustic bread. With a side salad. Husband has tried a bunch of other sandwiches and always likes them. Accidentally went during peak hours. Ordered a quiche Lorraine, the west coast hash, and the kids onesie. Was expecting a slice of quiche and instead got a whole medium quiche. A very pleasant surprise and tasted wonderful. The hash was very good too, my husband's only only complaint was he wish it came with a slice of toast. The kids onside was a sausage, an egg. And either toast or fruit (we got fruit). The kids food was the perfect temperature for out 18m old to dig in when it arrived at the table. Found this gem of a place for breakfast. It's in the middle of nowhere really. You walk in and it's warm and welcoming and smells so good. A mix of great coffee and pastries. I love that you can walk in grab a coffee and pastries or look at the menu and order at the front when you're Ready. The menu has a great brunch selection. It was hard to choose. We ordered the french toast , eggs Benedict and I got the hash. Wow! So impressed. While we waited for our food we grabbed some coffee and chose our seats. The food came out so fast and looked so delicious. My daughter loved the French toast and asked to go back the next day. My hubby loves his Benedict and I enjoyed every savory morsel of my hash. Ate lunch here earlier this week and absolutely LOVED it! The coffee selection is great, and they have back-up coffee pots of every kind in case they run out (photo taken during a refill period). Their food is also delicious. I enjoyed a chicken pesto panini (not pictured because I ate it too fast -- because it was DELICIOUS, oops!), a large drip, and the perfect portion of potato chips (they came with the sandwich). The customer service was also fantastic. They were quick, friendly, and great at making menu suggestions. I really wanted to try breakfast, but it has ended a few hours earlier. Next time I'll definitely have to get there in the morning. Additionally, I was with my sweet 6 mo babe, and they had A REAL CHANGING TABLE in the bathroom! Not the crap kind that pulls down from the wall and makes me nervous (first time mom, gotta be paranoid about a few things!), but a REAL one! My only suggestion would be to move it into the all-gender bathroom rather than have it in the ladies' room (they don't have a men's room), so that dads can use it, too. I suppose dads could use it in the ladies' room since it's a single-use room rather than a room with stalls, but I still think it would make more sense in the other restroom (or maybe just make both restrooms ungendered? ‍).
