(The bacon onion cheddar is really good.) A fairly large menu considering Longbottom is mainly known for coffee. The menu consists of omelets, paninis, bagels, flatbreads, quiche and waffles. Without a doubt a five star local Gem! Recently moved to the area and this place was highly recommended and I see why. Love local coffee roasters and this one won't disappoint you: the iced decaf espresso is delicious and my friends said the iced and drip coffee was also. Also I had a Marionberry scone which was full of flavor, moist and huge. Friends also loved the breakfast sandwich and the waffle bites. Okay, I had my expectations high as a friend recommended them. I ordered a hummingbird muffin which supposedly is composed of pineapple, coconut, banana. But all I could taste was banana. There was too much cinnamon and banana and it could be considered a below average banana muffin. They don't have anything eggless for breakfast and lunch menu is available only after 11:00 am. So, no brunch options for vegans if you go in early. However, they are willing to substitute eggs. We ordered Dave's bagel without egg and replaced it with spinach and onions, which tasted fine. However, I would probably choose Einstein bagels if I have to eat bagel/sandwich over this place any day for their much better variety and options in both bagels and vegetarian/ vegan options. Might not be returning for breakfast ever as insomnia serves better coffee and Einstein serves both food and coffee. It's over hyped place for my liking. But you could try it for yourself. read more

My first time here! I just came out of a hot yoga class in the morning and was craving for some coffee! This was nearby and I was surprised how big the coffee shop was! They have a restaurant where you can order food and dine in. I just waited in line to order a cup of coffee and it was delicious! I also got a cowboy cookie to go and it wasn't too sweet! Love love LOOOOVE this place!!!! I wish we had one in Colorado Springs. This place is so warm and inviting. A perfect place for breakfast, a cup of coffee and a social distancing chat with a friend, or whatever you want. F course it was even better with a cloudy with a little fog. A girls fall day dream. Belated update, as I've been away from yelp. This used to be a favourite place for a friend and I to meet for coffee every few weeks. Back sometime last year, we saw the lovely sign that several reviews have attached and decided then and there to never return. Regardless of how anyone feels about mask mandates, I don't come to a coffee or brunch place for political ranting. I'd recommend Insomnia, Ava Roastria, Slowbomb, or any other several quality coffeehouses for high quality coffee and no political grandstanding. read more

They're open early and they serve up a mean cup of chai! Here's a little bit about why I admire this place: Disclaimer: Being from Cali, I'm labeling these guys the "LBC"! +++ Parking +++ Inner Vibe +++ ~ The LBC is located in an industrial area, so expect it to blend in with the other generic looking buildings. Do not expect a fancy green Mother's Bistro look all pretty on the outside either lol. They usually have plenty of parking, so that shouldn't be an issue. ~ And as of recent, they did expand their dining area to give it more sunlight. Loved that they did that. It can be very busy here in the morning, but also relaxing in the late afternoon. Don't expect comfy couches as they do closed rather early. They're more of a breakfast joint versus casual cafe. Although on a nice day you can chill in the patio area and watch trucks roll by haha! ++ Food ++ Fun ++ Service ++ ~ I've never tried their pastries here, but man I love grabbing me a scrumptious cranberry raisin oatmeal cookie! And their selection of other cookies look yummy too! ~ They make a clean (I mean "clean") Breakfast Burrito, and the West Coast Burrito as well! Hardly any oily drips is what I'm emphasizing here! Only about $9.95 each, and they come with country potatoes which has a hint of good seasoning on it. Or maybe its just salt idk lol. The West Coast will have the potatoes inside. They are also tasty, and I was told the eggs are from cage-free chickens, how cool. If you don't know what to order here, then I'd recommend getting an omelette! ~ As for service, I've never had any issues. They may be slow at times waiting and waiting, but that's really no big deal to me as their excellent food makes up for it. Someday I'll pick up lunch, but for the most part I'm all about their breakfast burritos! The LBC does have a wide variety of coffee beans to choose from and chai tea too! We are visiting the area and needed my morning coffee. Honey lavender latte tastes great and i had it two days in a row. The scones are huge and fluffy. I give it minus star due to health concern. Breakfast is good, but their lunch isn't as good. I would stick to the breakfast items. They serve breakfast and lunch all day anyways. The big scones they had were not as good as they looked. When you come in, you order at the counter, take a number to your table and wait for them to bring your order. I don't think you buss your own table, but I'm not sure since I wasn't able to find a sign explaining this. This place has a lot of self serve. Water is self serve. Coffee is self serve. Buying coffee directly from long bottom is pricier compared to purchasing it from a grocery store. read more

After dropping the kids off at school and dropping some paperwork off @ Rite Aid (hopefully be working in pharmacy next week) I got a message that my wife was hungry. She suggested Longbottom, and I pondered it for a moment. I knew that they had raised their prices (like everyone else), and considering Panera's recent difficulty with getting orders right I "decided" that would work. Parking lot was pretty full, but there wasn't a line at the counter. I ordered a LB Classic Breakfast sandwich for her and I ordered the All Star **Break to sing #Smashmouth** The wait was only 5 minutes but I still double checked the orders before I left. If the order is wrong, the only one who really pays is the hubby. The orders were correct and very tasty. Although the potatoes that accompany the sandwich imo are totally unnecessary. I am very pleased with their attention to customer service. After a less than ideal experience the staff ensured that our opinions matter and that what happened was not to their standard. I have tried several drinks from there now and I can honestly say this is by far the BEST COFFEE in Hillsboro. I absolutely love the taste and how the coffee flavor still shines. At most places I have to ask for the coffee to be half sweet otherwise it is just full of syrup and hard to drink. Here I can get the drink as is and be extremely happy with the product. My current favorite is the peppermint bark latte as it has the perfect peppermint flavor and creamy milk. I also want to mention that their selection of beans to take home is too notch and make a great gift this holiday season!! I have been coming to LONGBOTTOM'S for a few years. I love this place. Everyone is so friendly and even the customers are friendly and smiling. It's just a great vibe all together. I usually order this Chicken Salad but it use to come on a pita bread. I loved it. It was so good and easy to eat. Not a lot of bread. Now it comes on a Croissant. I'm not the biggest fan of bread so now I order it on lettuce leaf. I say BRING BACK the PITA ! It's such a great option for all us non bread eaters. I love coffee. Love. In all the places I've drunk a coffee, this is hands down the #1 BEST. Came upon them driving through Hillsboro on my way north. Stopped for a wonderful meal. Then, the coffee! Bought bags for home and friends. It's available now online and in k-cups! I'm over the moon and am trying teas, as well. While I was there they were making scones with large chunks of ham and cheese. I bought all they had left, and can't forget their utter perfection. This place is pure magic. The only thing I think they can do better is maybe the set up? We attempted to come here at 9am on a Saturday morning. Place was busy and bustling! Location was in an interesting spot in an industrial complex. When we entered we immediately saw our issue that needed overcoming which was securing a table. My wife and I divided and conquered and I was in charge of ordering and hers was to find a table. We both ordered lattes and she ordered a breakfast burrito and I got the waffle breakfast. Our coffees were handed to us while we waited in the awkward cramped space between where you order and where the tables were. Unfortunately they were in to go cups which we found interesting but we waited for our food and a table nonetheless. After 20 mins my wife and I decided to change our order to go so we could at least eat in the car. We received our order and immediately ate in the car. The lattes were subpar and the food did disappoint. The time between hand off and when we ate was less than 5 minutes. My breakfast potatoes were on the under done side and my waffle somehow already soggy. My wife's tortilla was a struggle to cut with plasticware and unfortunately despite the reviews we were not the happiest. Two things, they've expanded the restaurant, for at least 10 more tables, which is good & also they've expanded their menu, for breakfast & lunch, which is awesome! They used to just have a few sandwich specials, that were ok, but mostly a coffee & tea shop. My husband returned last week & said they're club sandwich was awesome, he should know, he's a loves a good club sandwich.
