I have a complaint against the parts department. I walked in and the gentleman behind the parts counter did not even acknowledge me. Stook there a good couple of minutes, then he answered a phone call and help that customer. After he was finished with the call, he helped me and told me a part was 100+ more than what I had seen as the online price. He would not give me the online price; I had to sit there and order it on my phone then he went in the back and GOT MY part. I visited Longhorn Nissan after seeing a vehicle online that appeared to be a good option for my teenage daughter and I came prepared to pay cash for the vehicle. Unfortunately, this ended up being one of the worst dealership experiences I have ever had. 1.) I planned to use my American Express Delta SkyMiles card for the purchase so I could earn miles. Brianna explained that I could only put $5,000 on the card and that there would be a 5% fee for doing so. While not ideal, I accepted that and was still prepared to move forward and pay the remainder in cash. I can't get the miles and pay an extra $150 in a fee, no big deal. 2.) The real issues began when we went outside to test drive the vehicle. I sat in the driver's seat, and the car would not start. This was not the experience I expected from a dealership, especially for a vehicle being actively advertised for sale. Even after that, I was still willing to give the dealership the benefit of the doubt, assuming it may have been a one-time issue. 3.) However, when we went back inside, there was no real apology or concern from Brianna. She simply stated that she would have the service team look at it. The lack of urgency or professionalism made it seem as though this type of situation was normal. 4.) We then sat down to discuss numbers, and I learned there was an additional $3,000 fee added to a vehicle listed at $9,995. That is nearly one-third of the vehicle's listed price. To put that in perspective, it would be like purchasing a $60,000 vehicle and being told there is an additional $20,000 in dealer fees (1/3 of the price). When I asked what the fee was for, I was told the dealership was "certifying the car." When my mother asked what exactly was being certified, the response was simply, "The car." That answer did not inspire confidence and confirmed Brianna's lack of knowledge. 5.) I later learned that the $3,000 was apparently for a mandatory warranty package, which included items such as powertrain coverage and oil changes. I asked whether there was a lesser option or whether the warranty could be declined, and I was told no. I should have the option to purchase my own warranty or have oil changes done at a vendor of my choosing. Making a warranty mandatory at a cost equal to nearly one-third of the vehicle price is unreasonable. 6.) I then asked to speak with a manager, and Brian became involved. Unfortunately, his response was no better. When I explained that the vehicle would not start when we attempted to test drive it, his response was essentially, "Cars have over 100 parts. It happens." There was no meaningful apology, no accountability, and no effort to make the situation right. The overall tone from both Brian and Brianna was dismissive and unprofessional. I found it interesting because this could've been an easy cash deal. 7.) I also asked to keep the paper with the price quote (i.e., price of the car, 1/3 of the price to certify the car - in Brianna's words, and the taxes). I was told that I could not have the paper. The best that could be done is "some" of the information could be written on a sticky note. 8.) Gum for Brian's breath. I was not going to address this but because he was so rude, let's continue the transparency. His breath was so horrible. He was sitting across from me and I could smell it. I just left Pappadeaux (eating Seafood) and his breath was the worst smell of the day. However, his breath matched his (Brian's) and Brianna's customer service and the quality of Longhorn Nissan's cars. It was all reeked. We also visited Lexus of Grapevine, and the difference was night and day. Their customer service was excellent, the process was transparent, and there were no unreasonable mandatory fees equal to one-third of the vehicle price. We did not have to ask to keep the paper of the price quote. It was willingly given. Some may say that a Nissan dealership should not be compared to Lexus, but good customer service is free. Professionalism, transparency, and courtesy should be standard at every dealership. read more

Longhorn Nissan plays dirty tactics with used vehicle. They advertised 2018 Honda Odyssey for 13.8k as we were test driving and having our mechanic do a pre buy inspection they raised the price 4k. We came back to negotiate and do paper work they had changed it to 17.8k. Challenged them on the new 17.8k price and they blamed it on corporate and would no longer honor advertised price even though that price was posted for several days... Donny (original sales guy that even told us 13.8k the day before) seemed like a nice guy but Hector took over once price changed and seemed to take advantage by not honoring posted original price. This was the worst experience ever. My car was dropped off on June 4th and didn't get looked at until June 22nd. I finally got my car back on June 23rd. I had to constantly call because my service manager Jay wasn't providing any updates at all. I had to always be the one to reach out first which is interesting because he says he was calling other customers about the delay but failed to inform me just how behind they were. The cherry on top was no manager reached out for the inconvenience, no money taken off, and they ripped the entire bottom half of my license plate off that I had to pay $15 to replace. I told Jay about the damages and he claimed he told the manager Mike about it but as of today (June 24th) I received no apology call nor a reimbursement for the money I had to pay to get a new frame. I'm most certainly not getting another Nissan after this. I find it interesting that after I had to file a complaint/ case with Nissan consumer affairs that all of a sudden they started fixing my car. read more

I won a $1,000 Visa card scratch off sent to me in the mail. When I went to claim it, a sales person said it expired. I hate gimmicks! the GM sends me a message to email him. I ended up emailing him only to be told that they send out a lot of tickets, not all are winners. I thought he was going to redeem Longhorn Nissan and give me my winnings. These scratch offs are fake. Just to get you in the door. SCAM!!! Am currently in the market for a car, but won't buy from here. Beware for their false advertisements. read more

Use EXTREME caution when purchasing from Longhorn Nissan. The sales team will tell you anything to get the sell but will renege on their word. The Service Department is wonderful! Purchased a 2025 Nissan Versa 1/23/25 I left my old car on the lot and the owner promised that James would deliver my old car to my residence before the day is over. Well I received my old car at 11:00 pm being very unhappy with the dela. Then a few days later later I received a toll bill in the mail for 15 dollar. The assistant manager James is responsible for this charge, once I reeach out to James to express why would he toll event happen and that I need payment ASAP. And to bring the payment or mail it James declined to do either so I hung up and filed a complaint with the better business bureau and the FTC.. I refuse to be treated like shit after a purchase .. We bought a vehicle from here several years ago and it was a complete disaster. The car literally fell apart after the 3 year warranty. The air conditioner failed, a major belt broke in the motor, and the cheap tires that came with the lemon had to be replaced. I also fell for their recent lottery scam where they tell you won a $500 gift-card only to find out you won nothing after a trip to see these snakes at the dealership. I was shown several used cars in October at Longhorn Nissan and I did not see any I liked that were in my price range. The salesman tried to convince me that I could afford to buy a Cadillac that would be beyond my capability to pay for. I also had a car to trade that I still owed money on. I never agreed to finance $43,000 dollars and left the agency without signing anything. Yet for the entire month of November I have been receiving letters from more than 14 banks and credit unions denying me a loan I never asked for.. What gave him the right to smear my credit when l refused to buy a car I knew Icould not afford? This practice must be stopped. read more

I had an issue with my 2024 Nissan rogue S FWD and they took 21 days to get the part in granted yes it'll take a while so that's fine none the less I didn't get a loaner or anything to accommodate for the lack me of not having a car for the 21 days i recently traded in the vehicle for a Mazda and asked them if me being 21 would be an issue if I ever need a loaner they said no never I don't know why Nissan said you had to be 25 I said wow interesting they had told me I needed to be 25 and there was absolutely no way for me to get one for myself. He then replied wow in my 10 years of working for Mazda I've never heard of that being an issue. read more

Insisted that I take their extended service, starting at $4,000. Anything to jack up the price, I suppose. Salesman promised me twice that he would get me floormats for the used Expedition I bought. I arrived at Longhorn Nissan at 9am and left at 12pm-the entire experience from start to finish was incredibly smooth and easy. I would absolutely recommend Longhorn Nissan to my friends and family! Fernando Thomas provided outstanding customer service. He was with me every step of the way, and even beyond the sale. He told me I could bring the car back anytime for a wash -- that kind of dedication and availability (24/7!) is phenomenal and not something I'm used to seeing. Fernando truly went above and beyond. Alvin Baker from finance was also fantastic. He walked me through the entire process with honesty and clarity, making everything simple and stress-free. I had the pleasure of visiting Longhorn Nissan service department today regarding my transmission. Sal, the service advisor, was super efficient and insisted a Master Technician check out the vehicle. Dan found the trouble I was having within 5 minutes and the transmission was eliminated as the source of the problem. I was super impressed with the knowledgeable staff.
