    Lunch Menu...
    Michael W.

I went to this business today because I wanted some baby back ribs with a baked potato fully loaded. When I placed my order she stated they are out of baby back ribs . I settled for baked salmon and broccoli ( what a big difference ). The service was great from the time I stepped through the door and requested to do takeout. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went around lunchtime and Longhorn was extremely busy; however the atmosphere was nice with extremely friendly staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My primary complaint or concern is how is a place known for its excellent ribs out of ribs ‍... I asked what is the reason you're out of ribs and the order taker stated' she has no idea'. Oh well maybe next time . I am rating a 3 because you must be prepared for what a customer want to order or at least provide an explanation..

The staff could had been better. The host in front claimed it was 45 minute wait, but didn't even think about the bar being open especially for one person. One waitress touched me to feel on my jacket instead of just saying excuse me I like your jacket. I would look wrong for going off on her for violating my personal space. I shouldn't have to explain to a worker there to keep their hands to themselves. The bartender took a bit of time to serve me. The food was good except the steak should had been medium instead of medium rare. (I asked for medium) I wouldn't come back just for the service.

I visited this location twice this year, so I wanted to give an update on my experience. I must say, our service was great. The waitress was very attentive and would check on us often to make sure we were satisfied and had everything we needed. I had my usual on this visit...the parmesan crusted chicken, loaded baked potato, firecracker wraps and potato soup ( for the appetizer). I believe this was my first time having the soup and it was delicious. I also want to add that on the visit previous to this one I had their seasonal lamb chops. They also had the parmesan crusted topping that I enjoyed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm glad that they are keeping up their traditional atmosphere and food quality. Love it![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I love Longhorn Steakhouse but this one is nothing like the ones in Texas! I ordered filet med well baked potatoe and salad. Very simple and easy you would think? Ate my salad and bread and then waited 30 mins for my steak and potatoe. People that got here after me were already eating before I even got mine. Then of course it was half raw not med well. At this point I don't even want it anymore. But I sent it back to be cooked longer. For the price this is ridiculous. And of course not it's well done! I give up!

The food was ok, needed seasoning on burger. The service was good and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance is always great at Longhorn.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only 20 people in here, [[HIGHLIGHT]]men's room was filthy, hasn't been scrubbed in the urinals in awhile. Toilet wasn't useable blocked off with a broken down cone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Despite being short-staffed, the service was good and the food came out hot. We came for dinner on a Sunday and had about a 30 minute wait. The salmon nor the chicken were dry. I don't think I'd order the Parmesan crusted chicken again due to the saltiness. But the Spicy Chicken Bites and brussel sprouts were delicious. I could've ordered those two things and been happy and full. The complimentary bread came out fresh and hot. The interior and bathrooms were clean too.

The food was superb, especially the addictive croutons, but I didn't find the steaks impressive. My ribeye was cooked correctly (medium rare) but it still had some chewy bits. My girlfriend's filet was ordered medium rare, but came out rare and chewy. We should've sent it back but still I expect a steakhouse to cook a steak medium rare on the first try. I'll definitely be coming back- I'm eager to try their other offerings.

You look around and see familiar faces, families, people from the community... it just has that kind of warmth you can't fake. With a small child, going out to eat can be a challenge, but this is one of the few places where we can actually relax and enjoy it. That alone means a lot to us. The steaks are reasonably priced and consistently flavorful. And honestly, the croutons (that sliced bread) are a big reason we keep coming back. They are simple but done really well. We always go for the Wisconsin cheese curds - they never miss. We tried the cowboy caviar once, and it just wasn't our thing, but everything else has been consistently solid. What really makes this place special, though, is the people. The staff is always kind, welcoming, and makes you feel like you belong there.

I had a fantastic espresso martini and the best brussel sprouts I've ever tasted! So I was excited to come try something else. On the plus side, the bathroom was so nicely decorated. It was also very clean. I sat at the end of the bar, beside the little section of books. The bartender was nice. I ordered the Ember&Passion cocktail. Although it was pretty good, it was quite mild. Unexpected with the ingredients in it. I was surprised that the level of expected heat was not very detectable. I give it 7/10. When I came here before in the winter, the temperature was perfect and I don't remember being too bothered that they don't have cocktail napkins. But yesterday it was quite warm in the restaurant and not having these napkins wasn't good. Nobody in the restaurant had any type of napkin under any drink! I noticed that just like mine, every glass of water from every patron had a puddle of condensation under the glass. Each time I picked up my glass of water, it would drip onto my food and clothes. My two menus got so wet. I suppose they made this decision to save themselves a lot of money. As for the food: My parmesan truffle fries were excellent!! Hot, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked in the middle. Best I've had in a long time. The Alabama white sauce on the side was just your typical sauce. It tasted just like every other Alabama white sauce that I've had so was not disappointing. But I actually ended up not using it because it was too thin and it didn't add anything to the fries. The fries were excellent enough on their own. I ordered my burger "pink" but there wasn't any pink to it, but I wasn't that bothered about it. Burger and the toppings were tasty, except for the fried green tomato. Looking closely at the picture, you can see that it was SO SMALL compared to the size of the burger. When a restaurant does that, don't they realize that it makes for a glaring disappointment?! It apparently came from near the end of the tomato, and not the middle. If you are going to offer a fried green tomato on a burger, then I feel as if you should only use the larger slices of the tomato, and save the smaller ends for maybe putting in salads. I've always been obsessed with fried green tomatoes. After having my first two bites of burger and still not reaching the tomato, I took it off to eat by itself. Sadly, it tasted terrible! I was surprised. Obviously, they didn't season the tomato or the batter. (Salt and pepper go a long way.) The burger toppings apparently made the tomato batter not only soggy, but also this strange thick texture. Like mushy and chewy at the same time. 1/10 Worst problem: FLIES!!! So many flies! When I just had my drink but no food yet, I noticed them but was not bombarded by them at that point. It wasn't until my food came. All of a sudden I was literally surrounded by them. They were everywhere! No exaggeration. I actually had to use only one hand to eat and the other hand to constantly move back and forth over my food. I eventually gave up and set the plate of some of my fries about 4 inches in front of my burger in order to hopefully draw the flies to the fries so that I could eat my burger. Unfortunately, after only four bites of my burger, when I set it down to take a drink of water, a fly landed on it within one second. Obviously, that was my last bite, and even when I was moving the plate closer to the end of the counter, two more flies landed on it. The glass of straws was inches from me. That, and the book closest to me seemed to be where they gathered to wait for their opportunity to dive bomb me. So many of them! It turned my stomach when I realized that I had been drinking from a straw with my water and I'm sure there had been flies on it before I got there. Every person that gets a straw in their drink at this restaurant has had a fly sitting on top of it. When the bartender told me about the desserts, it turned my stomach to think of just how many flies were in the kitchen. Had I known the fly situation was that bad when I first got my drink, I would have never stayed there, and I certainly would have never ordered food. I do think it is a real shame because the winter months are a totally different experience in that restaurant. But because of how horrible it was this time, I just can't ever come back.
