Ordered curbside, and the service was fast. Unfortunately, when I sat down to eat, I discovered what felt like a pretty disappointing shortcut. I ordered grilled shrimp with a salad and specifically requested no cheese. Instead of preparing a fresh salad without cheese, someone apparently decided to simply hide the cheese at the bottom of the salad. Wow. Whether that was laziness or an attempt to avoid remaking the salad, it's not acceptable. My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch on a Monday. When we first walked in, there is a stale smell that takes over. I brushed it off as the bar due to beer smell. We were seated promptly. Our server was very nice but clearly overloaded. It took about 10 minutes to get greeted and another 5 to get 2 waters delivered. The tables around us stayed unbused the entire hour we were here. And the worst part about it is that another party of 8 (just like ours) that didn't call in or anything was able to get a table way before ours. We had a party of 9 arrive at 620 and was told it would be 40 minutes to an hour wait. At 745 we were still waiting and the mgr's attitude was terrible. He said and I quote" I told you it would be a while as there are 3 in front of you." I totally understand the wait but update us so we know . Yummy Ribeye Steak (12 oz), Steamed Broccoli, Strawberry Pecan Salad - husband had the NY Strip/Caesar/Loaded Baked Potato but I forgot to snap a photo of it and my sons kids cheeseburger. I did try some if the fries with his burger and they were fantastic. My entire meal was fabulous and my husband commented how much he liked their food and that they are consistently providing great food. It seemed louder than usually recall but they were packed house for a Monday Night. 12 oz Ribeye (Medium Well), Double Steamed Broccoli, and their Strawberry Pecan Side Salad. (The meal comes with a side salad and one side order, the normal choice is a chopped or Caesar salad so there was a slight up charge for this salad but so worth it. The dressing was sweet and tangy with just the right amount of spicy flavor which I was surprised but happy about, The broccoli had just the right amount of garlic/salt seasoning and the steak was cooked to perfection for me and tasted wonderful with very little fat surprisingly for a ribeye. The service was excellent as always and our only concerns was getting our impulsive kiddo to be still even though his food was ordered first and came out super fast he just wasn't willing to be still tonight but the staff were so kind to him and he enjoyed the his cheeseburger fries and chocolate milk. read more

I hate writing negative reviews, but this experience really needs to be shared. My cousin and I traveled from South Carolina to Buford, GA to volunteer at a youth football tournament and decided to stop here for dinner. At first we planned to dine in, but the wait time was extremely long, so we placed a takeout order instead. We were told we could call when we returned and someone would bring the food out to our car. When we came back, we called as instructed and waited in the car for over 45 minutes. No one ever brought our order out, and we noticed several other people going inside who seemed to be dealing with the same issue. It was pouring rain, but we eventually had to go inside ourselves. Our food had been sitting on the counter the entire time. When we asked if anyone was going to bring our order outside, we were told they were "too busy," and the employee simply walked away. No apology, no effort to help. Unfortunately, the problems didn't stop there. When we got back to our Airbnb, the food was cold, we had no utensils, part of our order was missing, and the salmon we ordered wasn't even prepared the way we requested -- even though we were charged extra for that preparation. My family and I have been going to LongHorn locations in Charleston, SC for years and have never had an issue. But after driving five hours and having this experience, I can honestly say this was the worst service I've ever had at a LongHorn. Completely disappointing and unacceptable. read more

Worst Mother's Day experience I have ever had. I understand Mother's Day is an extremely busy day for restaurants, and I do not fault them for the hour-long wait to be seated. However, what happened afterward completely ruined my day and left me seriously ill for almost a week. I ordered a shrimp dish during brunch after church. After chewing and swallowing one shrimp, I realized it was barely cooked -- almost raw. I immediately called the waiter over and asked for the shrimp to be cooked properly. They took the plate back and returned it after recooking it. Unfortunately, halfway through eating the "recooked" dish, I suddenly became violently sick. I had to run to the bathroom and vomit repeatedly -- five times before everything I had eaten came out. I had not eaten anything prior that day because I had been looking forward to this brunch. I became so disgusted and nauseated that I left the to-go box behind because I did not want to risk getting any sicker. For the next five days, I suffered with nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, headaches, chills, dehydration, and severe pain in my rib cage and throat from vomiting so much. I could not work for four days and could barely eat anything except crackers and Powerade. On the second day, I saw my doctor, who confirmed it was most likely food poisoning caused by undercooked shrimp. He explained symptoms can begin within 30 minutes to an hour. What upset me almost as much as the illness itself was the restaurant's response. A manager came to the table while I was visibly sick and nauseated. His response was: "We recooked it, didn't we?" I was in too much distress to say much. I asked for the General Manager, but instead my husband was handed paper to write my contact information because the GM was "busy" and supposedly would call later. My husband was later told they would only contact me "if more people complained." Think about that for a second. Several days later, after no one had checked on me at all, I personally called the restaurant while still sick and unable to work. The manager first claimed he never received the message about me, then seconds later said he found my information but "did not see the need" to reach out. He offered me a $50 gift card and repeatedly said that was "the best they could do." A $50 gift card does not make up for five days of illness, lost work, pain, dehydration, and a completely ruined Mother's Day. Mistakes can happen at restaurants. What matters is how management responds afterward. The lack of concern, accountability, empathy, or even a simple phone call to check on my condition was shocking. Had a great ribeye steak last night. Seasoned and cooked fire grilled . The baked potato was a little over cooked but the salad was on point and the bread and butter good as ever. When I went to pick up my order I had gotten a text that said my card did not go through from my bank because I had switched cards and while I was trying to pulling up the order so I could put a new payment method in I got a phone call from someone at longhorn saying that my card had declined. I then told them I forgot I had replaced that card and I was in the middle of trying to put in a new one but she said to come in and she could take care of it at the bar. She was very polite not where the problem started ... so I got out of my car and went to the bar where she stated she was going to be. Once I walked in nobody was at the hostess station in which I totally understand because it was very slow and I'm sure they were getting stuff done so they could go home. Oh I forgot to mention I put my order in for lunch so it was about 2:30 probably in between shifts...I walked up to the bar sat there and waited while two servers stood right in the doorway between the bar and the kitchen. both had turned around and looked at me several times and not even a"" hey the bartender will be with you in a minute "or" I'll be with you in a minute when I'm done talking to my other worker about what we did last night" I waited so long that I even had time to take out my phone and start recording I just wanted to see how long it would take for someone to acknowledge me standing at the door. Both those servers after about 5 minutes walked away past me without saying anything, finally the hostess walked back to the front and asked me if I was waiting on an order and at that time I told him yes I had to go order. The bartender gave me my order checked me out and I was out the door finally. I then get home to eat my steak and it was way overcooked, now don't get me wrong I understand that getting take out food it will cook a little bit more than whatever you ordered but this was past that little bit and more medium well to well side of The medium rare steak I ordered. So I was just wondering how much did I spend for my overcooked steak. I forgot the receipt in my car so I happen to look it up online but I was not able to because lunch time had passed and the prices were now dinner prices. I put it under the dinner menu the same ounce steak which was a 8oz Renegade also had a garden salad and a loaded baked potato in which my total came to $21.51 for the same exact thing I ordered at lunch so I was confused because I remember the total being over $22 which it was $22.24 after looking at the receipt. I always thought that lunch prices were 3 to $4 cheaper than what dinner menu prices were and that's why they have two different menus one for lunch and one for dinner but I guess longhorn does it opposite and lunch ends up being more than dinner. I'm not trying to complain but kinda tired of paying these ridiculous prices to get shit service and the food being not close to what you had ordered. I use to be in the restaurant business so I know how cost goes up but these servers need to understand that those customers that your ignoring are the ones that put money in their pocket without customers they would be out of a job. I called early afternoon to make a reservation for 8pm. I was told no reservations, but I'd be added to the "call ahead list" & was told that means we'd be first priority after checking in and wouldn't need to wait longer than fifteen minutes. This was a lie. As soon as we arrived- the manager William told my sister it would be at least an hour wait. When I called to speak with him he first tried to make it seem ans if he spoke to me (when I actuality if he would've just given me a second to speak he would've known he spoke to my sister) and William said that there were many parties ahead of us. If that's the case- why would they have even allowed us to get on the call ahead list hours prior? That's ignorance & misleading. We could've saved our expensive gas and time and went to another location. He always was very nonchalant and rude towards the manner. I am huge in customer service & humility. Went to LongHorn's last night, looking so forward to their Strawberry Salad, but with the Peppered Steak on it. There wasn't a line, and plenty of tables, so when the host tried to sit us at the first tiny 2-person ally seat, I said no, that won't work. Instead of going back to her chart to see who was available, she huffed and took me to the first available booth. Unfortunately, that waitress was already overwhelmed with all her tables filled and we made it worse. The Hostess should have better accommodated us. I'm claustrophobic and that tiny table shouldn't exist (I believe there are only 2 in the restaurant). So I ordered what I always do, an Entree Strawberry salad with the Peppered steak instead of chicken and the pecans and dressing on side. The girl put order in, and they brought me chicken. Meanwhile, my husband is almost thru with his strawberry signature salad upgrade, and his meal just came out. I snagged the person who brought it to me and told her it was wrong. Probably should have waited for waitress, but I didn't want to overwhelm her any more. So she wanted to take my whole plate away. I opened my napkins and used the clean forks to move it to my untouched bread tray and let her take the chicken back. A female black manager came over (I only say that so they know who she is), and confused me, what type of sirloin steak would I want on it. I'm like, I don't know, whatever is suppose to come on it - the black peppered. So instead, they cooked up a really crappy sirloin with no flavor and thin. I was looking forward to those thick, but thin slices of steak that go on the salad. Not only that, I had to slice it myself, and I can't slice it thin, as I have a fractured right elbow and movements affect my wrist as well. I cut 3 slices, and couldn't cut anymore. I told the waitress it was the worst steak I ever had there, and I was upset, and I upset her, which I apologized as it wasn't directed at her. She asked if I wanted to get the manager, at that point I had lost and wasn't going to be able to enjoy the salad I looked so forward to so I gave up. Manager never came to check on me. She chose for me a crappy sirloin that doesn't taste good on a salad and really wasn't cooked for a salad. NOT HAPPY! Very bad management. The waitress tried her best and she still got a good tip. Yes, I was still charged full price, plus $2.80 for the upgrade to steak. I don't mind paying when I get what I want. They shouldn't have charged the upgrade as it wasn't worth it. Waitress offered to take care of me, but she was so busy, felt it was the manager who should have made sure I was happy. She should know better than to give a tasteless cut of steak for a salad topper. Also, they should offer chicken, steak, salmon and shrimp as options for both of their entree salads! We don't mind paying more. This way "changes" are not screwed up! The strawberry salad itself was great. The waitress was kind enough to bring me some seasoning for the steak, but after it's cooked, it's just not the same as when seasoning sears in. I brought half of salad home and 3/4 of my steak. What a horrible visit! We visited the location at 1800 Mall of Georgia Blvd Buford, GA 30519 this evening and it was a horrible experience. They were busy so we expected the 45 minutes wait but what we did not expect was for after waiting to be seated and ordering our food, we didn't expect our food to come out wrong twice and for us to receive 2 totally different cuts of steaks the second time. We brought our dissatisfaction to the attention of both managers on duty, (Ashley and the kitchen manager). This was a totally unsatisfactory experience and a waste of 3 hours of our time. Ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken and it was delicious. Our server was efficient enough but there wasn't a whole lot of hospitality just very basic. The booth they sat us in was very tight for four people. It was also right next to the exit for the kitchen so we constantly had people walking past our table talking it was a bit disruptive. A high back on the booth would have helped give us a little more privacy and could have definitely helped to improve the experience. Bar area looked nice, back bar setup up was clean and organized. I always get a good meal no matter lunch or dinner. Sometimes the service is good & sometimes slow. I love the place, been going for years.

At some point you would feel a company of this size would figure out orders for pick up. I placed a very simple order and was told to arrive at 125pm for curbside. I was also told I would be text to check in. Now I'm aware that this is not a definite system but one would think it was somewhat close at best . And I arrive at 120 pm and wait for text message . Finally at 140 pm I call the number and am told my food is coming right out. So I wait, and wait, and wait. It is not 157 and I've called and still no food . Find me a 207. My food comes out. It is room temperature at best and is missing various side items. At this point I am terribly late for where I'm supposed to be and I will not be going back to correct it and I will not be going to this establishment for takeout or dining I could not recommend this place less to anyone. There's a perfectly good longhorn maybe 12 minutes from here but always gets it correct always on time and always ready to go. I would highly suggest you try another location. All in all curbside for this location is a huge fail. read more

One does not simply walk into the Mall of Georgia. And I was going to the mall, on a weekend, right before Xmas. Before I face the masses and the madness, I must first fortify myself. Who knows... when the next meal may come. This Longhorn is a typical fanchise. Its efficient, well staffed, fast and the menu is filled with reliable favorites. Sure, it does not offer innovative creations , but a steak for lunch is pretty good. So, we went with 2 strips , 1 flank and I did the lunch special 1/3 lb burger. I think the steaks are fine. Its well seasoned (salty) and cooked to your specification. The beefy flavor is there, but overpowered by the saltiness and it lacked the touch of smoke. Its decent steak. The star tho is the lunch special that I ordered. It came fully loaded with cheese of your choice and the requisite crispy lettuce , tomato and onion. Its a real good burger. And , also cooked to your spec and It was perfectly medium for me. And and... the brioche bun is fluffy, light and so good. but wait , there's moar,.... it also came with a side of lobstah chowdah. Hearty, delicious and it came in a generous portion. All of this for eight bucks. What a deal! tldr ; get the lunch special burger here. read more
