Ordered the Filet and the Mac and cheese with a side ceaser. Excellent!! Steak cooked perfectly. My dinner companion ordered the Ribeye it was incredibly thin and Fire grilled corn which was good. He also ordered the soup... shrimp and lobster chowder that he was informed once our meal came that they didn't have it, and if he wanted something else. THey brought him French onion. BUt never did bring a spoon for him to eat it. Service was Friendly but needs serious help. MAny Tables were empty but they made several people wait 10-15 minutes to sit. I don't normally complain when we go out, but the service we received tonight at this location was awful. Arrived at 6:00 with a party of 5 to celebrate my birthday. Walked right in and were seated. 25 minutes later our waitress finally came to our table to get our drink order. (Note: the table that was seated right beside us had their alcoholic drinks from the bar before we ordered our non alcoholic drinks.) We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Another 20 minutes passed. Waitress never came back to the table to check on us. When she did, we had to ask for the bread that was supposed to come out with our drinks. The salads we ordered with our meal came out 15 minutes later when we asked for them, after the appetizers finally came out. The manager came out to help deliver our food, and we complained about how long everything had taken from the time we walked in the door. Mind you, they were not busy. Came here while vacationing with my wife over Thanksgiving week. It was the most terrible service we've ever received from a Longhorn restaurant. We do not have a Longhorn in Cali, so when we get to go to one... we are so very excited. We love Longhorn. I cannot remember his name, but he is black, short and was the host on Thanksgiving Eve. Oh .. he also proudly wears many work badges that he received from Longhorn for wonderful service. We just knew that our experience was going to be amazing because of the great start. However, we were so so so wrong We waited a long time for my wife's appetizer (It was way over the time an appetizer should be brought out). When it was finally brought out, she needed more dressing. We waited a bit of a time for our waitress to come over, although i saw her several times at 2 other tables in our section (Btw... my wife never received the extra salad dressing that she finally was able to ask for). The waitress took over 10 mins to bring me my long pour. The bar was not even visit because hardly anyone was even in the restaurant. As I was going to take a sip, a waitress across from us immediately told me not to drink it and took the drink back. She then came back with it remade and told me that it has been sitting for a long time. That's ridiculous. Our food took over 30 mins to be brought out. Our waitress never came back to even tell us that it was going to be awhile nor provide an update. She practically ignored us. When the food finally came out, our food was wrong. Our steak was bloody.. not medium well as we asked. That made no sense for as long as it took. We were able to get our server to come over by asking the host if he could please get her for us. When she came, we explained the issue. We then asked for the manager. We watched her not immediately look for him.. then she did.. spoke to him and he looked at us and did not even come over to us. So we had to ask the host to get him. He finally came (I think his name was Jay), we explained the issue, he disclosed that she told him that we wanted to take the steaks off of our bill. We did not even say that at all. He decided to remake everything and provide us both with free desserts and a small discount off of the bill. He even brought the new food out himself. The food was what it was supposed to be. Our server never came back to us until she brought us the check which to an additional15 mins... isn't this all ridiculous?? We noticed that the discount was not applied nor did we receive our desserts as promised. We had to ask for the manager again from the host. A new manager came out and we had to reexplain why we were getting free dessert. He said he was over the other manager...Jay. He seemed very surprised and disappointed that we were going to be receiving 2 desserts. He wanted to them explain that the server was new and that this is how the new generation of servers are when it comes to receiving negative feedback from customers. The Longhorn in Steele Creek has been open for a few months and I've been several times. Each time I visit the customer service is satisfactory. They always have a full staff and all the tables are always open. We have had a few issues with food on several occasions. We've had to send back wings to have them cooked further and some items have come out cold. Overall we have been pleased with what we've ordered. The Wild West shrimp is always prepared correctly. Besides the Wild West shrimp, my favorite item is the Parmesan crusted lamb chops. However, they are a seasonal item. When is when it is out of season, I will take the Parmesan crusted chicken. Today was worse than terrible! We were party of 4 on waiting list - they don't tell you how long just number you are in line. We were number 3 and waited about 30 minutes when they sat us we got one menu at table five minutes brought us all menus. We waited and waited at table while they sat other groups of 6 or more at each table. Another 15 minutes staff continue to walk by with no acknowledgement. Then a table of 6 seated next to us was greeted by a server with bread and waters two minutes after they sat down! My chicken tenders should have been called nuggets due to the size yet the price remained the same. The "garden" salad appeared to be lettuce from left over patrons meal. This has to be our least favorite long horn in the Charlotte area. This location is near the outlet in Steele Creek. We've ordered food to go from this location several times and more times than not, we have to come inside to retrieve our curbside order. Granted, this location gets busy, when ordered are lined up inside instead of being taken out to the cars, that's a problem for me. We always order the same thing, the crusted Parmesan chicken with Broccoli & baked sweet potatoes. The price has gone up twice for this order but it's one of the things our daughter will eat from restaurants. I wish I'd taken a picture of our meals today but the crusted chicken wasn't the least bit crusted. I returned to the location to ask them to remake our food. The host directed me to the to-go/bar area. I waited for about 10 minutes before someone greeted me. This location is very understaffed and that's not ideal being located near an outlet. Living just across the street from this place, I couldn't wait for it to open. Today, I finally had the chance to dine in and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. I know first days can be tough. Between having enough staff, making sure food is up to par, and just living up to the expectations of other locations. But for it to be just day two of being open, you all killed it. When I walked in, I dined alone and was greeted with smiles from all of the hostesses. While the place was packed, it took no time to get seated. I dined alone and sat in a booth. I loved how every booth had a plug outlet with usb and usb-c outlets available as well. Kinshasa was my server and she was amazing. Super attentive checking on me whenever she passed by and was just full of good vibes. While I sat and watched a movie on my phone as I waited for the food, I was shocked at how quickly everything came out. I ordered a ribeye with a side of Mac and a salad. Everything came out hot and fresh. The ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium which is how I love it. My only complaint would be that it was a tad bit on the salty side. If I could give this place a negative star I would. HORRIBLE service, zero professionalism. Started off bad as we waited for almost an hour to be seated. The host never even notified us that our table was ready. Just left us waiting. Finally, we were able to order and half of our table never received their salads. We asked for them to be removed from the bill. Then, someone in our party never received her other side. So she literally just had a steak... that was it. When we informed the manager, it was almost like he was mad that he had to make changes to the bill. Went to bathroom that was absolutely disgusting w toilet paper around the toilet bowl and floor was wet all around. Felt bad for server cause she knew I was very disappointed. Paid $50 for a meal I know those good ole boys in the corporate office would never accept. As i walked out I told the service manager that was the worst meal I've had. We arrived at about 2:30 on a slow Sunday afternoon. We were seated promptly, received bread and our beverages quickly and ordered salads and chopped steak. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. No one checked on our beverages or explained the delay for the delivery of our food. Finally we got the attention of the hostess and asked that our waiter check on our order. Shortly after that our entrees finally arrived, but we still hadn't received our salads which were eventually delivered when we were already half finished with our entrees. We asked to speak to the manager and explained that the problem wasn't just the fault of our waiter but reflected a management failure and a training failure of the whole kitchen and floor staff. Service had been so bad that I actually asked that some portion of the bill be comped, something I never do. The manager said he'd take something off, then walked away and we didn't see him again. I speak for the whole of Steele creek when I say, it's great to be getting all of these new choices to eat in our area. For a long time, we were very limited. I ordered takeout yesterday and when I arrived at 130p, the parking lot was quite full. Ordering was very easy, with many payment options. My order was brought out exactly at the time I specified, which is a good start. The guy who brought it out kinda messed up the vibe. He did not look happy. When I got the food home I was incredibly disappointed by the "steak" salad I ordered. It was laughable. Very little steak and no dressing included. My burger was good and the chicken sandwich was good. I will give Longhorn another chance because the food wasn't bad, and it's very convenient. This is my second time having longhorn but first time at this new location. Overall it was simply an ok experience. I went on an Tuesday night with my family and was told it would be a 30 min wait. It ended up being a 15 minute! Their kids menu is fair and my daughter had the cheeseburger. The burger did come without cheese and we had to send it back but the staff was genuinely apologetic and realized the mistake right away. I had the salmon, it was ok could've use a little more seasoning but as I said before the food was just okay. I had the berry sangria and there was way more wine than berry in there which for me was just fine because I like sweet red wines, however my cousins found it a little too wine forward. The overall space is huge with room between booth and tables which makes it comfortable to have private conversations without the worry of being over heard. ZERO Stars! Manager, hosting staff and "Blake" were the most disrespectful, rude and incompetent staff I've ever experienced in a LongHorn. And I love LongHorn restaurants. Biggest disappointment EVER. When speaking with management about our experience, Blake (a wait staffer) told us to leave because she was ready to go home for the night. It was 10:30pm and they closed at 11pm. The manager clearly has no control of the staff and training has clearly been absent from this establishment. LongHorn's corporate needs to fix this. Excited to have a LongHorn in our area, so excited we decided to get to go meals since we couldn't sit in. Well maybe not the best idea but since today was the first day I will keep them at 3 stars for now. Issues: 1) on hold for what felt like 4 mins just to be transferred to to go line and be put on hold for 5 more mins. Once I was able to finally order I was told my food would be ready by 6:10 and I would receive a link that would allow me to pay and also confirm my arrival.Joshua the guy who took my order was very friendly and thorough. 2) The link never came. I headed to restaurant anyways and arrived at 6:15 and parked thinking surely the link would arrive by the time I parked. Nope 3)Now it's 6:22 and I call because I can't confirm I've arrived without the link. I call long horn and again once on hold but this time for like 8 mins. Finally once someone answered and I was transferred again I was told to come in and pay because I wouldn't have gotten the link because the guy who took my order didn't record my phone #. What a lie because my receipt has my # listed. 4) Once I came in to pickup my order the trainer lady didn't even apologize for all of the inconvenience. She just said today is a training day. Training doesn't mean not to take accountability and correct the situation 5) my food was COLD. Of course it was, I ordered at 5:45 and it's 6:30 now. Once again no type or apology or attempt to correct. 6) I came home to have to reheat my cold food. The salmon wasn't seasoned and the Brussels sprouts were so salty. My broccoli was cooked perfectly however. All in all this experience deserved a 2.5 stars but since I can't do that and it was the first day I will give them . I can see them earning a 5 star review if tye trainer lady corrects her attitude and truly does her job to pursue customer satisfaction. Also they need to fix the order ahead process. Worst service experience to date. Everything started great. Went in, waited to be seated, asked hostess if I can have a bar table, she led me in, sat me down. That's all the interaction I received. I stayed there, sat there for 20minutes with multiple servers passing me by, bartender gave me a nod, manager gave directions to servers, but no one ever stopped by to see if I needed water, take an order, or even collect my menu.
