After reading the negative Yelp reviews at the 113th St Seminole location I decided to try this Largo location instead even though it was twice as far a drive. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to make a difference because I was experiencing the same customer service and food quality issues that were reported at the Seminole location. The blooming onion was overcooked and greasy, and my 8 ounce sirloin steak Had a huge vein in it that I could not cut through with a knife. Our server did her job well enough, but was a little snarky and patronizing. The highlight of the meal was the flight of signature drinks served on a boomerang. Mistake was suggesting to the Queen Bee to have a nice leisurely lunch out after having a rather stressful morning. We go sit at the bar per usual and eventually Dana acknowledged us and asked for drink order. Then she starts chatting us up like we were longtime friends or something. Starts out with why wifey and I are both wearing NY T-shirts. Then how long have we been here? Dana has been here for X number years, and on and on. I simply looked away and gave monosyllabic answers in the effort to get rid of her. Queen Bee was more polite, so our barkeep lady didn't take the hint. We both chose burger lunches. Queen Bee got Caesar salad and I just unsalted fries. Her salad came out shortly after and burgers around ten or fifteen minutes later. Seemed like a long wait for a couple of damn burgers...We both took one bite. We looked at each other and both of us gave a look to one another like "what's with THIS??" We both reached for the salt and pepper...BLANDEST thing I've bitten into since IDK when. S&P helped a little but not much. Dana asked if it was okay...Queen Bee spoke up and stated how bland they were. Ms Dana offers all kinds of apologies and says we "shoulda said something and I'd have gotten U new ones." She also found how odd our comment was since she often hears "how over seasoned they are." Guess what? If I reach for the salt, then U know it's bland because I simply DO NOT LIKE salt. Dana says she usually gets ribeye or Alice Springs Chicken. Then she asks if I like ribeye. Yes, "which is why we usually have ribeye down the street at Longhorn." Once again Dana offers an apology and says we shoulda said something because "it's YOUR hard earned money." I replied that it was "not worth my while to raise a fuss. It's just a lesson for me to know that I won't return." Do yourselves a favor and if U wanna have lunch at a steak place, avoid this one. Just stay with East Bay Longhorn just off 19. I will never understand how restaurants that call themselves steakhouses don't know how to select or cook steaks. All 3 of our choices (filet, prime rib and bone-in strip) were offered to be replaced with more edible meat. We did accept a new filet to replace the fatty and chewy filet. My buddy and me made the best of ours. His prime rib was fatty and tasteless he said, mine fatty, grisly and overcooked on one end. Not sure how you do that. Can't blame our servers, they did all they could to try and make it better but it should not have needed bettering had they been cooked right the first time. Maybe it's just the cut and quality of meat Outback chooses. All in all, a disappointing experience. We won't be returning. read more

Why isn't this place busier? The service was incredible. Katelyn took care of our every need. The food was outstanding - Bloomin' Fried Shrimp Appetizer, salads, entrees. This is not our first time here and it won't be our last. Tonight, 12/6/22, we started with the Bloomin' Fried Shrimp. They came out hot and fresh. So delicious! For an entree, Husband had the small filet with a salad and mashed potatoes. I had the grilled chicken breast with Caesar salad and buttered sweet potato. It was all cooked the way we liked it, hot, tasty, and filling. We will return, and we hope the crowds return, too! read more

First of all the Bartenders were nice. I ordered a Ribeye steak the steak was so tough I couldn't even cut it. I thought maybe it was the knife but no it wasn't It had to be the worst ribeye I have ever had. I chewed a couple of pieces but had to spit them out they were so tough. My husband got New York strip steak and his was equally as tough. The Barley soup the barley in the soup was like it had not been cooked. I secretly told the bartender she asked if I wanted another one but by that time I had eaten my salad and bake potato and a few spoonfuls of the soup. I was done. Stopped to celebrate date night after work. Being Halloween night it was entertaining. Had the new 3 cheese dip. Good choice. Ordered the Steakhouse Salad that we've had numerous times before. That has dramatically changed. Not near the size it usually is. In fact, it was 1/4th to 1/3rd smaller and noticeably less steak. The dressing is always fantastic. The service was great. Also it was supposed to be 18oz bone in ribeye but it was boneless 13 oz ( as showed in the pictures). I wasn't expecting a top notch quality but neither the lowest ever. Almost a 1/4 of it was straight fat, and I like a fatty ribeye but that was waaaay too much. I had the mashed potatoes as a side, which had way too much skin on it, and absolutely no flavor. So the last time I went to this location in Largo, FL, I was critical of the experience. My husband and I went for a late lunch on 1/31/23 and it was like night and day. First-we were greeted warmly and immediately seated. Second, they were having a promo for a free appetizer or dessert. We chose dessert-see pic. Third, the service was EXCELLENT. My husband had the prime rib dip sandwich and I had a Cobb salad w grilled chicken. Everything was good. The server came back multiple times and like 'mind read' what we needed. Finally, the aforementioned dessert -Thunder and Lightning was super good. The problem with this Outback is it's not consistent-one week it's a ho hum, aggravating experience, the next week it's great. Recently, Outback cut prime rib down to weekends only & discontinued the veggie medley we loved. (Bummer!) On April 4 we stopped in for a quick burger at the bar on our way home from a class. The only other person at the bar was the manager, scrolling on his cellphone while the bartender serviced wait staff. Nobody acknowledged us, so after 10 minutes, we called out to ask if we could get some drinks. The menu showed a burger concoction so tall, I commented we'd probably have to use a fork & knife. The burgers served were flat; each with a microscopic tomato & a petal of lettuce, along with room temp, tasteless fries. It was pretty comical how the food we got looked nothing like the menu pic, but the lack of taste was very disappointing. While we continue to vouch for the ribeye & prime rib, I would not order the lackluster burger again... ever. read more

For appetizer we got the kookaburra chicken wings and whooo! Let me tell you!!! They exceeded my expectations of chicken lol they have a sweet and tangy flavor and come with a plum sauce for the wings! It was delicious! We decided to dine in last night & had the best server! Her name was Cheyenne. We arrived & there was a short wait. Once seated our server was busy with her other tables. She made sure to let us know she would be right there. She took our drink orders & suggested her faves. She brought water & soon our bar drinks. Someone brought us bread & we ordered shortly after. We had filet mignon cooked medium. Normally I have issues with steaks not being cooked properly. They were PERFECT! Our salads were good as well. I picked out most the croutons & Cheyenne apologized for them being there. It was nothing. I did not order without them. I like their croutons I just didn't want to fill up on so much bread prior to the steak. We also had baked potatoes. They were so hot & obviously fresh. Sadly I was too full to eat most of mine. The manager stopped by our table as well. Honestly I saw maybe 5 people stop by our table in the course of our dinner... multiple runners, managers & our server. She was busy but made sure to stop by multiple times. Honestly we usually order it to go. Most the time service is so bad that it's too frustrating to sit in the restaurant & wait. Last nights experience changed that opinion. I would absolutely dine in again if Cheyenne was our server. I must also commend the host who made sure to sit most tables with children on one side of the restaurant. This kept the other side quiet & relaxed.
