    White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms

I placed an online order that was supposed to be ready at 9:30. I was called at 9:30 saying no sweet potatoes. I received it a 9:50. Everything in the bag was cold. Salmon was lukewarm. Stuffed mushrooms cheese was not even melted. Manager Justin Gilbert was very unprofessional in the manner in which he handled the situation. I asked for my food to be remade instead of a refund. He asked could he warm the mushrooms up. I declined and asked can the bag sit beside me until the food is ready he refused said he would throw it away in the kitchen and purposely walked past a trash can that was in my line of sight in the kitchen. Everything was warmed up except the broccoli. I know because the salmon was broken in the same exact spot. Nothing about this experience went well. Everyone i know says the location is HORRIBLE. I tried to give them the benefit of doubt however i will never return.

Our server, Mattie, was very friendly and the food came out quick. We enjoyed the nastiness of the meal and the atmosphere was relaxing.

TOTALLY DISGUSTED! We were totally disgusted tonight at the Covington, Georgia location. We traveled from Texas to visit family and decided to eat at this location. Ewww....Ewwww.... Ewwww! Where do I start? First and foremost upon walking in, there was a sweaty stench smell and we almost left upon arriving. Then as we were seated, there was so much trash on the floor and tables unclean. We thought maybe since they were busy that was the case so we proceeded to our table. The waiter was the ONLY plus tonight. We ordered shrimp and brussel sprouts for appetizer. We also ordered a salad. We began eating our appetizers and Then came our salad. My husband began eating the Farm Fresh Field green salad with crispy chicken. My husband began to eat it, after eating about 40% of his salad he noticed a BUG in his salad. Thats right a BLACK BUG!!!!! A black MOVING bug. He almost threw up as he wondered if he had already eaten several others. We called the waiter who simply said he was sorry, took the salad and then brought our bill. He asked if we wanted another salad, NO THANK YOU! We want nothing else to do with this restaurant, our bill is fine to bring. NO manager came over to apologize or check on us, it was as if it was business as usual. We have NEVER experienced this before. The Board of Health needs to pay this location a visit ASAP! The waiter came back and said Sorry, here's your bill and good night. WE WILL NEVER eat at your establishment again as we feel So disgusted

This place was very good, the staff was nice and the food was great! They even give my little sister 5$ because it was her birthday! The vibe was very chill. Would recommend

I used to come to this restaurant at lunchtime with work colleagues and I always eat well there. The burgers are quite big, and the beef pieces are also very good. The only problem is that sometimes the meat is not cooked the same way as the one I ordered, I often have a meat more cooked than what I asked for... The service is fast despite the fact that there are sometimes many people in this place. It is also possible to order your meal to go, which is practical. The prices are correct for a steakhouse and it's easy to park in the parking around the restaurant. The restaurant is located right on the I-20, which is convenient if you want to come and eat quickly when you are on the road. I recommend this place.

The salmon and broccoli were flavorless, but the mashed potatoes were decent, hence the 2 stars.

Very good salmon to-go. I ordered online last time I was in town for work and it exceeded my expectations.

Our waitress was lovely, I had heard about the souvenir glasses you could buy so I got a shot glass with the Damon pancake shot and the vampire Barbie drink. They had a few options for the big souvenir glass - I chose the "it's okay to love them both, I did" Katherine glass. For the meal we tried the fried chicken sandwich and the sweet tea fried chicken. Everything was so good, my favorite meal in Covington! I wish we had room for dessert because everything sounded good. We checked out upstairs and saw the hallway with all the signed menus- so cool!! We sat on the roof which was nice and quiet. The service was quick and the waitress was super nice. The first time the food came out it was cold, but she was super quick to get it warm for us. We got the blackened shrimp Alfredo and it was pretty flavorful, I would totally get again! The fries were also delicious. We did get two drinks and they were just alright. Would not recommend their cocktails. Overall Mystic Grill holds a special place in our hearts and we love visiting during the holidays!

Tonight we made our way to The Social Goat in Covington, Georgia. Before we even get to the food,…read morethis is the kind of restaurant that has a personality all its own. Goat-themed artwork is scattered throughout the restaurant, including some fun paintings that immediately caught our attention. The atmosphere feels more like a cozy tavern than a traditional taco restaurant, with dark wood, booths, and a comfortable setting that invites you to settle in and stay awhile. One interesting piece of local history is the building itself. We learned that in 1906, this building housed an antique market. Think about that for a moment. If someone was selling antiques here in 1906, some of those "antiques" might have been from the 1800s. More than a century later, the building is still serving visitors, although these days the focus is tacos rather than antiques. Covington itself is worth mentioning. The city has become known as Georgia's Hollywood of the South, with more than 100 movies and television productions filmed here over the years. Fans of The Vampire Diaries and Sweet Magnolias will recognize many locations around town. If you're visiting the area, there is plenty to see before or after dinner. Our server for the evening was Jordan, who provided friendly service throughout the meal. The menu features eleven different taco varieties, which immediately created a dilemma. Narrowing the choices down to just three was not easy. We ultimately chose the Fried Fish Taco, the Philly Taco, and the Sesame Ribeye Taco. The tacos are available as a trio, allowing you to sample three different varieties on one platter. The meal also came with chips, salsa, and queso, making it easy to share and compare flavors. Let's start with the Fried Fish Taco because it ended up being my favorite of the three. The fish itself had excellent flavor and was cooked just right. The taco was topped with a sauce that brought a unique flavor to the experience, and the crunchy slaw added texture that worked beautifully with the fish. Every component contributed something to the overall bite. This was the taco that surprised me the most and ultimately earned the top spot in my personal ranking. The Philly Taco finished a very close second. If you're a fan of Philly cheesesteaks, you'll immediately understand the appeal. Loaded with shaved ribeye, peppers, onions, and cheese, it delivered exactly the flavors I was hoping for. It was rich, satisfying, and packed with flavor. Sometimes simple combinations work for a reason, and this taco proved that point. The Sesame Ribeye Taco was the most unique of the three. The sesame-soy flavor was bold and immediately noticeable. I enjoyed the flavor profile and appreciated that it took the taco in a different direction than what I typically experience. Rather than trying to imitate a traditional taco, it offered something distinct and memorable. Anyone looking for a creative twist on a taco will likely find this one especially interesting. One thing I appreciated about the trio platter was the opportunity to compare very different flavor profiles side by side. The Fried Fish Taco offered a balance of fish, sauce, and crunch. The Philly Taco delivered familiar comfort-food flavors. The Sesame Ribeye Taco brought a bold and unique flavor profile to the table. Each taco had its own personality, which made the comparison part of the fun. The chips were crisp, the salsa was fresh, and the queso provided a nice complement to the tacos. Combined with the trio platter, it was more than enough food for a satisfying meal. The Social Goat manages to be more than just a taco stop. Between the historic building, the goat-themed decor, the welcoming tavern atmosphere, and a menu filled with creative options, it offers an experience that stands out from the typical restaurant visit. If we return, and there is a good chance we will, there are still eight taco varieties left for us to investigate. The Social Goat Tavern 1115 Church Street Covington, GA 30014
