I was there a few months ago with my in-laws and had very bad experience with all our steaks...very fatty and not done right dry hard and just awful...I called and spoke with Michelle the manager and she told me she sent me 2 giftcards for 50 dollars. One worked the other ever came through all the way ? So last evening my husband and I went to eat and trying to use our gift card that didn't work ...Michelle was there the same manager that sent the cards to me ..and laughed at us ..sat down next to me looked at my phone and the email with her name ...recognized it was her ...then walked away and did nothing? My husband was so uncomfortable with this whole thing he actually tha ked her for looking? Went to dinner with my daughter and we were looking to eat! Rib eye is our favorite steak! Ordered two of the 20-ounce Outlaw Ribeye platters. Booth seating--it was a little awkward--the space between the seat and table was far away. Steaks arrive--they seemed to be cooked to our ordered preparation. HOWEVER... they both tasted like you licked a charcoal briquet. My daughter was starving, and just endured and ate hers. She had flecks of charcoal in her teeth and on her face. I took one bite and was turned off from the flavor and unreasonable amount of "char" on the steak. The manager came and explained it was grill seasoning. They don't clean the grill between orders, because they are afraid of metal breaking off on someone's steak? They do make metal free grate cleaners...or how about cleaning it when the grill is free of steaks? Just suggestions. They did remove my steak from my bill and offered to cook it "flat iron" style. But I was gaslighted into thinking, "that's how a char-grilled steak should taste/be seasoned." I would not recommend. read more

We went out looking for dinner since our power was knocked out and had an excellent meal at Longhorn. The food was excellent and very well priced...but our server Genevieve stole the show. Her demeanor and attentiveness were spectacular....this girl could work at one of the uppity steakhouses and triple her money. She was thoughtful and knew the menu well. My husband and I stopped in this evening with my parents who were in town. Despite the hostess forgetting that we were waiting for a booth instead of a table the overall service was great. Our server Brandon was on top of our table, very polite and made sure we were well taken care of. We ordered a few apps: Wild West shrimp, spicy chicken bites and seasoned steakhouse wings. I ordered the 6oz filet with crispy Brussels, sweet potato and a ceased salad (order this to come out first). I ate most of the salad and requested a box to put it in. They made me a whole new salad with the Caesar on the side and said "who wants a soggy salad to take home" I agree but didn't expect a new one which was really nice of them. The bonus from tonight was my father's salmon was not cooked all the way and the waiter noticed it immediately and requested they make him a new one. The manager made sure it was cooked throughly and comped the meal due to the kitchen's staff's mistake. They were very apologetic and made sure that it was taken care of. Four of us old guys went at 2 for a meal before attending a race at Lernerville Speedway Saturday. We were greeted and our waitress was simply fantastic! Every specific request was presented when the meal was served. My steak was perfect medium rare and my friend's tenderloin was just that (you could cut it with a fork!). Brandon was our server and he was great. On a very busy friday night, He was thorough and made sure my food wasn't cross contaminated with fish or shellfish and even went to go ask the kitchen for me to make sure I wasn't gonna die. He came back for the 2 bite/2 minute check after each course. Our party of 4 love everything we ordered. The steals were cook perfectly to our liking. My Crusted Chicken was moist and super flavorful. The raspberry vinaigrette was the best I've ever had. The cheesecake was creamy and a great consistency. We were there for a birthday dinner so after we opened some presents before we cut the rug and gave Brandon his table back so he could keep werkin it! Lauren our waitress was absolutely wonderful. Understanding my gluten allergy. And she also had them make me another ribeye (I asked her not to make a big deal out of it and that I wasn't asking for free food) when I wasn't happy with the one I got. But the second ribeye they brought me was the same as the first steak. A very thin cut and no marbling. It was dry. The reason I eat ribeyes is that they have a lot of marbling and are very tender and juicy. Now that I understand the cut that they use I will remember not to order it there. And just as a side comment the gluten free menu that they gave me was printed so small I hade to use the magnifier on my phone to read it. And I don't have problems reading small print. I liked that the server repeated and clarified the order, doneness of the steak, and an up charge for the side. Family went to longhorn after church. The wife and kids all got steak. The steaks were cooked to the perfect temperature . The food here is great! I have no complaints about the food aspect of this restaurant. However, some of the servers here need customer service help! I dined in on the 17th of August and had the worst experience with a waitress. Not only did the waitress lack common courtesy, like introducing herself to the table and using polite filler words like "No problem!" or "Of course!" but she also gave frequent attitude when we ordered our drinks, appetizers, and entrees. Our waitress also never checked in on us after our food was served, and proceeded to throw the bill down at our table without speaking. Loved coming here, however if we ever have this waitress again I will request a different one! read more

Mostly a GREAT pick-up experience except for MY STEAK!!! Don't do pickup unless you care little about temperature of your expensive steak. Not only was my steak tough but it had been cooked to perfection, meaning "Pittsburghed Medium". My strawberry salad was wonderful and my wife's pepper steak salad was outstanding. My baked potato was HOT and delicious even though it was next to my cool steak. I feel they need to use a more insulated container to use on steaks. My wife and I stopped in after a Steeler game. No rolls at 5:30 pm and the Flo's filet no 6 oz only 9 oz. If you have 9 oz can't you make a 6 oz. No you want the customer to pay more and no rolls. I'm not penalizing the waiter but makes me choose other place to eat after games. read more

My husband and I came here because we had a gift card to use for this restaurant group. We would normally opt for Olive Garden but decided to try a place we do not normally go to. We were quickly greeted by the host and taken to a table in the back of the restaurant. Our waitress was very nice and quick to initially serve us. Being that this is a steakhouse, I knew the non red meat options would be limited but I did not realize how limited they would be. I ordered the only chicken dish on the menu, Parmesan Crusted Chicken. It came with two sides and I chose a baked sweet potato and broccoli. Our dinners started with fresh bread and butter which was warm and probably the best part of the meal. When my meal came out, there was no broccoli accompanying it. I asked for the side of broccoli and when it came out, it was clearly just thrown right on a plate, laying in a pile of water and previously frozen. It was a pretty big disappointment. My sweet potato was very mushy (I know it will be soft but this was like baby food) and the chicken, nicely presented and looked appetizing, was way too salty. I was very disappointed with this meal. I am thankful we did not have to pay for it as the price was more than I would like to pay if I knew what the food was like. There are so many other restaurants out there that can make a meal better than this with a lower cost. I do not mind paying if the food is good. The saddest day so far this year is the day my grill died. What's a girl to do, if she can't grill a good steak? So, it's time to start stopping by LongHorn on a regular basis to fulfill my need for a good steak. We always have a great experience here. Attentive and friendly service. They always have a nice booth available for us. We love their Honey Wheat bread. Their salads are always very fresh and the dressings are delicious. It's our favorite "casual" steak or hamburger spot. My favorite steak is their 6 oz. sirloin. I get mine medium well. BJ gets his medium rare. Always perfectly cooked. It's also a good value for the price, I always have leftovers for lunch the next day. Still happy with LongHorn. read more

updated 2016: Received better service on recent trips compared to my first review in 2014. ---- This is one of the places we go to when my husband randomly craves steak mainly because of convenience to location. It isn't a fancy steak place but we actually want the not so fancy steak most of the time for random weeknights. Personally, the steaks are ok to me. I feel like some steaks I've tried came out bland and I have to put a lot of pepper just to make it taste like steak. My husband seems to like their steaks. Of course he likes the ribeyes, but the last time we went, his steak was not cooked to order. He asked for medium rare and his was pretty much well done. Also, he wanted the smaller size but they gave him the largest steak. Poor guy never complains and never told me (so I couldn't complain. jk. just would've asked for what was ordered). Our server was nice, but I guess she needed to be more attentive as order was wrong. The side salad is whatevers for the lack of a better term? I had a great experience here! I was in the mood for some steak and stopped in on a Friday for lunch. There weren't too many guests, so we were seated with no wait. Our server was friendly and attentive, and brought us our drinks as well as the complimentary bread and butter. I ordered the Flo's Filet, which was was cooked to a perfect medium, and it was melt in your mouth delicious with the perfect amount of seasoning. Stopped there last week with my wife. Ate at the bar. Mixed drinks were horrible because they really don't have an official bartender, just someone that gets stuck there. unless you are ordering beer or wine, forget about it. we both ordered the strip steak. The salads looked good, however there were on little diced tomatoes and large pieces of romaine which was mostly the bottom stems. Salad was disappointing. Our strip steaks were ordered medium and were perfectly done but the worst tasting steaks ever. While they were not fatty, they were extremely strongly with connective tissue. in fact you could not cut through it. The steaks were also tough to chew. while I know you can't expect the highest quality there, steaks are what they do. You would think they would at least be tender and tasty. Nope... The only thing good was the baked potato. My wife's was exactly the same way. So why didn't we send them back? We the bartender/ waitress never asked how is your food nor did she say anything when she picked up our plates and saw 3/4 of the steak not eaten. While I understand you can't find help period these days let alone people that actually take pride in what they do, this was very obvious. So since she was so unobservant we figured she wouldn't notice that we left zero for a tip. Something we just don't do unless service, food and drink are all atrocious like this was. The service was fine but the meager, overpriced mini steak was so over seasoned it was horrid. A brined, mini steak slathered in their msg and salty house seasoning was like chewing on an old salt lick the cows rejected. Even their seasoned fries were over the top salty.
