We went to this location to celebrate 2 special events (a bday and baby on the way) even though the one in Kennesaw is closer. We went a week prior and had a good experience so went back. The reason for this review is because I tried the "contact us" option on their website 3 times and it kept submitting before the comment was completed. I then contacted their corporate customer service and was told that management from the location would contact me... and they did- attached. As you can see, they were really "concerned". We had a party of 7, did reserved seating and still waited 20 mins. They then stuck us in a regular size booth with a chair at the end although there were many other more suitable options open. Our server Belicia, started taking our order after waiting another 20 mins to have our drink order taken. As she was going around the table she would say "and the shredded cheese and bacon on that is good?" Or "the grilled shrimp and onions on the steak is OK?".... Yes, there should be a normal amount of upselling but when she did this to my 11 yr old, I had to ask to confirm, are you saying this is how it comes and you are making sure? Or this is all extra? She said it was all extra and that's the way she has to say it. This is not true bc as I shared we had just visited the week prior and the server did the appropriate amt of upselling but wasn't shady by insinuating it was included or how the item comes. After confirming this and advising that no, we didn't want the add ons, but thank you - she continued to do the same thing with every last person in our party. Rather than understanding that we did not want the add ons automatically she continued the slimy way of taking our orders. It was manipulative and awkward and only because we were celebrating events did I choose not to escalate the situation. Instead, the majority of our items were ruined with add ons that we didn't want and were billed for. Then, a manager is required to come by every table in which Lacy did however it was robotic and she ignored my hesitation when asked if everything was good, and with a fake smile on her face as if she was saying "you better not even complain" she spun around on her heel and walked away. Rather than making our experience even more awkward I chose to reach out after and voice my concerns and was basically told to kick rocks. Clearly TR doesn't need to retain any customers and do not care if we come back again so please keep this in mind when choosing to go here or one of the other local steak places. They had the chance to fix the mistake on a $300+ order, make it a good experience and gain returning customers who would spread the word on what a wonderful job they did fixing their mistakes and get great reviews. Instead, it will be the complete opposite. Don't waste your time or money here- go to Longhorn. Now all the negative videos on social media and bad reviews make sense. read more

Had lunch there today but never again. Several years ago I had the country fried steak and it was not very good so I don't know what possessed me to order it again. Inedible, extremely salty (and I love salt) and burnt breading. The baked potato was the best part of the meal but the cheese was cold instead of melted; I ate it without salt trying to get over the saltiness of the steak. Even the corn (my favorite vegetable by far) was cooked to death. At least the waitress was nice which is the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1. The last few times I have been have been off but today was the last straw. Never again! read more

Good evening. Tonight for my wife's birthday we went out for dinner. She decided that she wanted Texas Roadhouse for her birthday dinner. We welcomed in by the hostess which brought us to our table. We had the pleasure to be seated in Helen's section. From taking our drink orders, appetizer, and to our main dishes she was on her game. She was amazing and so friendly and welcoming. She made sure we had everything we needed. in addition, she made sure our drinks were never empty. She deserves to recognized for her hard work and great attitude. In addition, she needs to be promoted to a leader or trainer. I will definitely be back to this location. I just hope that when I come in Helen will be working. Thank you. read more

This is not a place I frequent and it's been a good 18+ years since my last visit. Our Senior Community did a men's outing here bc the guys chose it. They did as good of a job as they could with getting our seniors in but I will say the place is not very wheelchair friendly. We had to park further down to unload bc there wasn't an easy wheelchair ramp to access. Gone are the days of peanuts on the floor but we got to witness a country dance by the staff. Our waitress was phenomenal and even owned up to a mistake she made, especially bc one of our seniors had a food allergy. The rolls and cinnamon butter here are amazing. All the senior men got steaks. I'm not a red meat eater so was semi disappointed that the combo options didn't have a shrimp/chicken combo. Thankfully my coworker split with me. The bbq chicken was a bit over BBQed but the shrimp and sweet potatoe were dead on. Big glasses as well for your drinks, which is a plus. 4 stars due to the amazing service and enough food to fill 'er up! Our senior men seem to enjoy this place so I'm sure we'll be back. We came for kids night tonight and were charged $10.99 per kids meal. It is advertised that kids meals are $1.99 each with purchase of adult meal (see attached photo). I ordered the adult bone-in ribeye. I always send my credit card before seeing the bill cause with two kids we are always in a hurry. Apparently my kids usual order of kid's ranger steak is not part of the deal, however, no one informed us of this. On the way out I talked to the hostess, showed her our receipt and she told us. I am not happy with this experience. They need to be more transparent. Very disappointed. Our waiter Zach was great, excellent service despite not knowing/informing us about the charge ordeal. I had a frustrating and confusing experience at Texas Roadhouse today. I'm 28 years old and presented a valid Georgia driver's license when ordering a drink, but the bartender, Kyna, refused to accept it, stating it was "crumpled" and had a "purple line." Oh and that "they're really strict." She even used her phone flashlight to try to "verify" the license, which added to the confusion, as Georgia licenses do not have any "purple line" feature. My ID is a legitimate, government-issued license that includes standard Georgia security features -- such as the star in the top corner, ghost image, and raised signature -- all of which are clearly visible and intact. It has also been accepted many times before, including at this exact location. I fully respect ID policies, but this situation felt less like proper verification and more like a misunderstanding of what to look for in a valid ID. Being denied based on incorrect information was both frustrating, embarrassing, and unnecessary. I would have appreciated a second opinion from a manager. But instead she just stepped to the side & shined her phone flashlight on the top of the license and continued to tell me it wasn't real. I hope management can provide clearer guidance to staff to ensure IDs are being evaluated accurately and consistently moving forward. read more

We stopped in for a quick lunch and were surprised to see how crowded it was! I guess everyone had the same idea as us. Thankfully, there was less than a 10 minute wait to get our table. Fresh hot rolls are always a great way to start. $5 drink specials are another. Our server Amelia came over quickly to get our order. Dudley, the manager, came to check on us early in the meal as well. Food came out quickly and was a much bigger portion than I expected for lunch. I had the left over for dinner. Impressed with the value here. As everyone else mentioned, the rolls are great. And they even give you refills of rolls if you ask. Ordered the kebab for dinner with side salad and cup of chili. All this for only $14.99! Service is also fantastic. Get on the waiting list so you don't have to wait as long in the waiting area. Will definitely be coming back, even though it's a half hour drive for us. Also, join their mailing list so you can get a free appetizer. read more

I have visited this location a couple times in the past and had no issues. I am not sure what happened this last time but it was not good. I visited with my friend and his family. We were seated relatively quickly and everything was going well. Our waitress, right off the bat, was not very friendly with my friend's father. His family does not speak English (or at least not very well) so they definitely had a bit of an accent. He was trying to order and she just looked pissed off and not understanding at all. I ended up telling her what he was trying to say but she just, very rudely, moved on to the next order. English is my first language, I don't have an accent, I was raised in America and so I knew she could understand me. Which is why the next part of the story becomes problematic. We order our food and again the same problems occur. She has difficulties understanding his family's order but she is not kind at all. She is huffing and rolling her eyes. When she brings items to our table (more rolls, drink refill) she says nothing, slammed the items down and walked off without a word. When we asked for sauce for our steak she took forever to bring it out and when she did, you could tell she was mad she had to do her job. Why do I bring all of this up? Well, because the table immediately behind and across from us also had her as a waitress. And she visited both of those tables *at least* double the amount she ever checked on us. I'm not just talking about bringing food- I had to fight to get a drink refill, get us more bread, to-go boxes. Hell, I even had trouble getting our check, which usually restaurants have no problem giving you. And the thing was...I could see her attitude change. She was friendly, smiling, attentive to these other tables. The food ended up being decent, but the service was absolutely horrendous. I try to be as unbiased and look on the good side of people, but I was really having trouble with this. It was clear she was favoring her other tables and not only avoiding us, but being rude and giving bad service to us. I don't want to say it's because my friend, his family and I were a minority, but it sure felt that way. It will definitely make me think twice about visiting this location. UPDATE: I reached out after they left a comment on my review. Their online forum was very quick and I believe it was the next day when I got a response. However, iIt took a bit of back and forth trying to find a time that worked best (I had called two days in a row and the manager wasn't in). I finally called back the next week and was placed on a 10 minute hold. It was not looking good. I decided I would try to reach them once more before giving up. I called back and immediately got the manager, who said that nobody had notified them that they had a call on hold. I had emailed with both Leissy and Amanda but it ended up being Leissy (service manager) who I spoke with that day. She was very apologetic and vowed to speak with her staff for proper training. She was taken aback by my experiences and promised that next time would be better. I was offered a voucher to come in again and ask specifically for her. They handled the situation very appropriately but most importantly I wanted to make sure nobody else had to go through this. Kudos to Texas Roadhouse for trying to make it right! read more

On of the best Texas Roadhouse Restaurants. It stays pretty busy, but usually is quick. Food is always done the way it's ordered. Salads are fresh and crispy. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I had one of the worst dining experiences at Texas Roadhouse. I ordered a New York strip steak medium well, but what I got was a cold, well-done steak. On top of that, the side salad was freezing, like it had just been pulled out of a freezer. It was obvious the server made a mistake -- she even told me my "well-done steak" would be right out, even though I had ordered medium well. When I complained, the manager apologized and promised a replacement "really quick." After sitting there for 45 minutes, the new steak never came, and the manager never came back to check on me. Cold food, wrong order, miscommunication, and zero follow-through from management. Completely unacceptable. I left disappointed, frustrated, and still hungry. I will not be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. Management seriously needs to retrain staff on accuracy and communication, as well as improve follow-through in the kitchen. Customers shouldn't leave a restaurant more frustrated than when they walked in. read more

We are here twice in the past month! The service has been amazing from getting greeted when you walk in, to being seated and our servers. The food has also been great! Everything was seasoned well, food came out timely and both times we have been a manager stopped by our table to ask us how everything was and if he could do anything to make it better. This is my husband's birthday weekend and he wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse. Before we left home I joined the wait on their website to find out it was a 35-45 minute wait time. We were able to check in and waited in the car for text that our table was ready. Wait time was actually closer to 70 minutes but we received the text and were immediately seated. It did take awhile for our server Jordi to take our drink order and a bit longer to receive. We both ordered house margaritas and waters. When Jordi came back we placed our orders. My husband ordered a 14oz Ft Worth Ribeye, his side cup of chili and sweet potato only to find out they didn't have sweet potatoes so baked potato it was. I ordered the 12oz ribeye, house salad and baked potato. Jordi brought out the hubby's chili but not my salad. We had to ask for my salad but since they were busy we let it slide. We received our steaks and potatoes, very tasty and steak was temp we ordered but Jordi didn't check on us, he made several stops to the tables around us but didn't check on us. The table he paid the most attention to was a party of 6, the one person in party ate half of her steak sent it back then received a whole new one, which she had a couple bites packed it up to go. And only left like 3 singles on the table. I did also have to asked for our bill. Brighter side there were at least 6 other birthdays in the restaurant that the staff sang too...no hubby was not one of them, I didn't want to walk home lol! But the bar had basketball games and tennis matches on which was very nice! Would have rated higher if we had higher customer service, food and drinks very good. read more

After a week of covid bed rest I had to get out and enjoy the day from God. We ended up at Texas Road House to fill our bellies. First time at the Cumming location where we noticed an enthusiastic crew of young people working on a semi busy day. Our waiter while nice went awol for long stretches without asking us if we had everything we needed. Grrr.. At least we had TVS to keep our attention as the place has a plethora of sports playing intermittently on various TV's simultaneously . As for the food, my steak was dry and not med well however the shrimp and sides no complaints. My wife said her prime rib was overcooked too. Maybe just a bad day but TRH at different locations are hit or miss. read more

Look, we all know what we're there for- the rolls. The entire reason we went was because of those things. So after you eat 3 baskets worth and you're still somehow hungry, the food is pretty good. My partner got a steak and he said it was 4 out of 5 stars. I got the chicken tenders and as always, they were good. The service was great. The restaurant is really really loud. Like loud. So if you're looking for a long conversation dinner, I wouldn't go here. Also, the rolls are amazing! read more
