Told the server so she brings it but with a ton of dressing all over and I asked for it on the side. Disappeared for long stretches so I sat with nothing to eat. Meat was over cooked on my entree. Asked for water. Never came until I asked again. Everything about the order was wrong and it took a long time to get anything resolved. We got a "sorry" but she didn't take anything off the bill for the bad service. Done with this place. Shame because the food is usually really good. But service has dropped way off. Went here tonight and it was awful. It took awhile to get waited on to start. Ordered two steaks. When the steaks came out they were both undercooked. The manager took them to be remade and one was cooked correctly and the was very undercooked. The manger didn't bring out the remakes and never came back to the table. Thought we would try this place out on our anniversary. Mistake... Texas tonion...a lot breading around not much onion. Ceasar Salad...iceberg lettuce(not Romaine), no parmesan, and almost no dressing... Ordered the 8oz ribeye, rare. Wasn't even medium rare. It was almost medium. Met friends here tonight,very disappointed. Restaurant had maybe 10 tables seated when we arrived but we were still seated I bar area closest to kitchen entrance which ensured the noise level were louder than if we had been seated away from the kitchen. Waiter was available prior to our order arriving, then was very scarce to check on us to the point of one in our party having to wave outstretched arms to get a response from any wait staff, by now there were only 3-4 seated tables. Steaks were lukewarm, potatoes too cold to melt butter much less cheese and toppings on 3 of the 4 potatoes were wrong. Understand Monday's are probably not prime shifts but I was surprised with 1-2 tables per wait staff that the food was not served hot, the order was not correct and we were checked on with a frequency that made you feel everyone had gone home and abandoned their tables. read more

The first one .. we asked to be seated 3 tables back from the front table .. not near the front door. . But after being seated for 8 mins.. another couple, was seated at the same table .. why .. I always enjoy my food at LH. The wait on the weekends is insufferable so I only go during the week days. My favorite appetizer is the wild west shrimp. It has spicy peppers in it so if you don't care for that you can ask for them to make it without it. The Firecracker chicken wraps are also another favorite: think southwest egg rolls served with avocado dipping sauce... mmm-mmm-mmmmmm! There is something about their ranch dressing that is addicting so I always make sure to get a salad. The side salads come with the dressing already poured onto the salad so I ask for it on the side. I recently had the crispy chicken sandwich combo for lunch and it was super affordable and absolutely delish! Got out of there for only $10. For my main course for dinner it's always either the salmon or the filet with loaded mashed potatoes. If you are looking for a healthy salad option the 7-pepper sirloin steak is a knock-out! I don't do desserts here because quite frankly I don't care for any of them. They are too rich and too big. However, I am very happy to see that LH has implemented happy hour from 4-7 so I'll definitely be back to see what that has to offer. read more

I would probably have given the food 4 stars and the service 3. Our waitress was kind, but very slow. It also took longer than expected for our lunch order to come out when the restaurant didn't seem to be busy. I ordered the lunch portion of a Caesar salad and fried chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was very flavorful. My husband ordered the baked potato soup and burger. The burger was pretty good but the soup was a little on the bland side. My mom ordered the 6oz filet and that was the best entree out of all three. She really enjoyed her steak cooked at a perfect medium. She asked for no tomatoes or onions on the salad, but when it came out, it still had them. Overall, if the service were faster I think the experience would have been pushed to 4 stars. Also, the 6oz steak and salad was plated really weird. I know it might be strange to have just a 6oz steak alone on a plate, but it's better than hiding it underneath the salad. This is my first time going to any LongHorn Steakhouse. We had a gift card, so we tried it. We went a Saturday night, and there was a long wait outside, but when we went in they said we could sit at the bar if we wanted with no wait. We ordered drinks and food. The Old Fashioned was made well. The Margarita, however, tasted too much like margarita mix. They bring bread out for each table, and it was warm and good. Everything we ordered was pretty good. The atmosphere was good. They are still taking COVID-19 precautions seriously. There wasn't anything special about the place; however. We had a very mediocre experience at Longhorn in Georgetown today. We decided to go there for an early dinner and arrived about 4:45. We've eaten there multiple times, and before now have not been this disappointed about the food we received. The bread loaf had the texture of bread left over from lunch. It was dried out and flaked all over the table when sliced. The Caesar salad dressing was way too heavy on garlic, but most importantly, the meat in my filet was very stringy. The last two visits to LongHorn will be our last unless we hear some new positive chatter. I explained that I can not have any gravy or croutons with my meal due to Celiac disease. The wait staff heard me because we spoke about it for a bit. The meal arrived with all the standard wheat-based items contaminating everything on the plate. After a long wait the food came again. My wife and I agreed that the food was missing flavor, unlike in the past. We were very disappointed, but gave them the benefit of the doubt that this meal may have been a fluke. We returned a few months later and we (both) were served COLD food. I've never had that happen before at any restaurant. Cold mash potatoes, cold steak, cold broccoli, cold chicken. Visited our favorite GTX located on 10/14/23 for a family celebration. We are regulars here. However, this night was a complete disaster. Service: Host was pre-occupied w/football on TV, sat us at the last table by the kitchen door, when there were 25 other tables available. Waitress was brand new and not trained. Not able to answer q's and spilled drinks. Food: Steaks were pretty good. Chopped steak was just OK. Served us a raw (and i mean raw) hamburger inedible. I am OK with rate but we ordered the burger medium. Have had the burger several times and it was usually great. They re-made it and brought it back (crucified, not well-done, executed) without any fries. After 3 requests, the fries arrived after I paid the FULL BILL and we were leaving. No management on the floor, front of house. Big problems in the kitchen. It looked like the under 20 team was running the show. I sent an email via their website on 10/16 because I do not like to write negative reviews. As of today 11/9, no reply. Sad, because I used to love this place. Next week, had an amazing experience elsewhere. We will not go back to Longhorn, Georgetown, unfortunately. read more

My 96 year old aunt insisted we go here for her birthday. I won't be back that's for sure. First off, tough overpriced meat. I got a Ribeye and I could hardly cut it. At least It was cooked medium rare which I ordered. The weirdest thing were the drinks. We ordered wine - Pinot Grigio - I don't know what we got but NASTY BLECH could not drink it. We ordered scotch and soda. We got a 3 cup root beer mug with Scotch and 7 up! Sent it back and asked for scotch and club soda. We got a root beer mug full of STRAIGHT SCOTCH over ice! It must have been half a bottle!! Could not drink that either. The bread and baked potato were fine. Just don't go- you'd be better off getting a steak sandwich somewhere and picking up a decent bottle of wine. read more

We've been going to this restaurant since they opened here. Tonight was the absolutely WORST dining experience we've ever had here. To start, we called ahead for seating. No big deal, easy enough. We arrive, check in and are giving the buzzer. We wait.....and wait.....until people who got there after us started being seated. I went up the young lady there and inquired as to how much longer our wait would be. She asked the name, looked and said we weren't there. I showed her the buzzer and told her we had called ahead. I was informed that we got "deleted". I'm assuming the look on my face is probably why they sat us right down. Now, I get the same exact thing every time we go. A Flo's Filet. I love how you can cut through that with a fork. Except this time. It was not that tender at all. I was going to let it go, but the $21 that filet cost was not the filet I got. Our waitress asked if we wanted to talk to the manager and I said no, at first. As I looked at the bill, I told her I did want to talk to the manager. He came over. We exchanged pleasantries and shared our experience with him. He did offer to remove my steak from the bill and we agreed. Now, the bill was $53 and some change. The steak was $20.99. If my math is correct, that means my bill should have been $33. He brought the bill back out and it was $40 and some change. That was it. I signed it and we left and won't be back. Last visit cold food on hot plates. Burbon Salmon? Salomon completely overcooked white, dry and no sauce. Very unappetizing in appearance and not fresh. Asparagus was mushy. First of all, let me start this review by saying I have never written a yelp review in my whole life. I got to this place after work for my anniversary. I've eaten at this chain before and it was really delicious. This time... not so much. I waited an hour for a table while there were several empty booths and plenty of waiters and waitresses. We order our food and wait ten more minutes for our drinks. We ordered "The Tonion" which is like a fake ass version of Outback's Bloomin' Onion. It was cold, like an iceberg guys. It had this weird unidentifiable white sauce on it. I eat some of it and it's alright EXCEPT there's onion skins on these fried onions. Hungry as I am I try to just put it aside as a mistake, but this happens at least four more times. At this point I'm done with this appetizer. I get my salad and it is very much dressed to the point of sogginess. My cheese tasted like paper. Like copy paper soaked in water. My croutons were soft on the bottom and the Caesar dressing tasted like rotten anchovies covered in lime juice. Obviously, I'm done with that also. So, the waitress brings the entrees. My girlfriend ordered the Kobe Steak sandwich and it was also as cold as Antarctica. The meat tasted old and game-y. I ordered the Parmesan chicken and the corn cob. It was the saltiest thing I have ever eaten and I literally hated it. I also felt totally uncomfortable eating it because if these cooks don't know how to peel an onion... I don't think I trust them to make my chicken. So, I had to keep checking to see if it wasn't raw. I got through about one breast and then I was done with salt for the rest of my existence. The pros of my experience.... the horrible onion dish got taken off my ticket and the French fries were good and I ordered a coke. I paid 40.00 dollars for this crap food and am wholly dissatisfied. Waited for hostess, to be informed it's a 10 minute wait, at 3:00 p.m. seated by the manager, he took our drink order, then our meal order, no bread till we were thru with 1/2 our meal, asked for drink refills, they never asked if our steak was cooked right. Which were so salty I could only eat 1/2. They offered to make another one... we didn't want to wait more time. Asked for more drink refills, another 10 minute wait. Asked for check, got wrong one. Gave our bread to someone else so we had to wait quite a while for another one, served my food cold (napa chicken -was nasty anyway), service was slow at times although they were all very nice. How does a steakhouse run out of baked potatoes? We came in on a Saturday around 7:30 and went to wait at the bar. There were dirty glasses all up and down the bar and dirty tables too. The bartender ignored us for 10 minutes before he begrudgingly took our drink order then seemed put out when we asked him to clean the bar in front of us. Once we were seated, we saw more dirty tables than clean. Some stayed uncleared for more than 20 minutes. The butter that came with the bread was separated and ice cold (hard to spread on bread) and came in a plastic to-go cup instead of a ramiken. When our steaks came, both were overlooked but at this point we were so hungry that we ate them anyway. And by the time thee food came out, they had cooked more baked potatoes. On the positive side, our server was great and very efficient and the manager did check on us and apologize. Hopefully, this was just an off night. Georgetown only has one steakhouse and we can't afford for it to go downhill. read more

We are new to town and went to Longhorn Steakhouse for Steak & Lobster to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We called an hour before to get on the waitlist, as recommended on Yelp. We were sat right away... Clay was our waiter and was excellent. Steaks and lobsters were cooked perfectly.. Warm bread was delicious. The manager came by our table to see if we were enjoying our dinner... since it was a birthday celebration, our daughter was given a card for free appetizer or dessert on next visit. Our only recommendation that would have made it even better is that they really need-a better wine list of Cabernet Sauvignon... Really... Evan the Kirkland Alexander Valley Cab from Costco beats anything on their list... and it is less than $10. But excellent dinner and service and amazing prices. read more
