Longhorn is usually pretty good, but this experience was definitely subpar. The ambiance is very classic old west and pretty standard throughout all Longhorn restaurants. We were seated quickly, and the server was attentive but not particularly friendly. The pace of the meal was off. The salads arrived almost immediately after we ordered and even before the appetizer. I enjoyed the dragonfruit margarita which was tasty and strong. We had the Wild West shrimp to start which was good. Crunchy shrimp and a generous portion. I had the Caesar salad which was also fairly good, but it was hard to enjoy it since I was planning to have some appetizer first, but the salad arrived first. I had the renegade sirloin entree. Sadly it was done more medium rare vs medium, and it was lukewarm. The baked potato was very standard. For dessert we had the molten lava cake which was probably the highlight of the meal which is a sad commentary for a steak restaurant. I usually love this place, but today I got a burger to go and it was inedible. It was like an overcooked hockey puck and it was half the size of the bun. I hope it was just a "one off" and not a consistent thing. I probably won't be back for awhile unless if they respond and make it right. However, all of our steaks were lukewarm and not cooked to our preferred 'done ness'. But everything else was pretty good and delicious. The ambiance was nice. Server was great. The food was the reason for the one star. My wife got a salad. It was easily the highlight of our meal. I "splurged" - or so I thought - and got the 9oz filet. I'm pretty sure they just took an average cut of steak, sliced off 9oz of it, and called it a "filet". It was about 1/3 the thickness of any other filet I've ever seen in my life (including the picture of a filet on their own menu). It looked pretty sad there on the giant plate with the 1/2 cup of plain broccoli. The bread was good and the steak knife was sharp though, so there's that. ( not hostess.) when she was pointed out garbage on floor and hanging out of trash can but in view of patrons. So I instead of dealing with somebody who obviously doesn't care if the first impression of restaurant is trash on floor by hostess station we then departed. I recently heard good things about the Longhorn near the Mall of NH. Late Saturday lunch was a very nice experience! Sat at the bar and Sean took great care of me! Remember how, in at least one of my earlier reviews, I said how anytime you ask a local around here where one can get a good steak, they always mention either LongHorn Steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse? Well, allow me to provide a culinary spoiler: one of those places does, indeed, make some rather mildly impressive steaks. And I already wrote a review about it, so now we have to talk about LongHorn. LongHorn Steakhouse is kind of like the Nickelback to most (if not all) steakhouse food chains. If you don't understand that, then just try to imagine the most prosaic, unassuming and stoically presented nothing of a steakhouse ever conceived by humans. I've stated countless times how...if a steak requires A1 steak sauce, then it is NOT a good steak. Period. As you can probably already anticipate, that happened during tonight's dinner. Wifey ordered the filet (like she does) whilst I ordered the 12oz rib eye. I figured my chances of getting a decent tasting steak would increase more so with such a cut featuring a healthy marbling of tasty fat, thus giving us that oh so tender buttery flavor upon first bite. What I got resembled that of a slightly deflated tire. It was cooked mid-rare...sort of. I guess. But it was possibly one of the chewiest steaks I've had in a while. Could have just been the cut or whatever. But cutting into this thing was like vigorously sawing into a leather boot with a butter knife. Both the filet and the rib eye were in need of a touch more seasoning, especially the filet. Wifey ended up waterboarding her steak in A1 as I cringed in horror. My rib eye tasted okay, though I suspect the chefs heavy reliance on the melted butter on top is ultimately also their downfall. I had to put salt on mine, because pouring the alternative onto my steaks makes me wanna break stuff. Oh, I also tried the loaded potato soup and it was....alright. Like a 6 out of 10. But that steak...is about a 5 out of 10 for me, mainly because the texture of the whole thing was so rubbery. I only got through about half the steak. They also offer mushrooms and onions, which are naturally under seasoned. I had a Caesar salad with a strange tasting dressing. But at least the service was decent. So, this is what I'd tell ya. If you want a decent steak at a decent price, go across the street to Texas Roadhouse. If you want tire-meat that once resembled something of a mildly cooked steak, come here and say goodbye to your molars. This place is barely better than Applebee's when it comes to making steaks. And I'm giving LongHorn 2 ironically rubbery rib eyes with a mildly buttery flavor out of 5. read more

It was our first time ever going to LongHorn and not to mention we ( me and my wife ) were celebrating our anniversary together which made our night how much Nathan looked out for us tonight, not to mention we're not from NH im just here for work while my wife came to visit for a few days . Absolute wonderful experience! White Peach Sangria is very generous in size. The chicken wings were a huge hit for the appetizers. The Parmesan crusted chicken is off-the-hook!!! The Porterhouse was another table favorite. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Finished off with a Chocolate Stampede dessert (table shareable with the most amazing vanilla bean ice cream I've ever eaten.) Great customer service by our server James as well as manager Nathan. I typically like to go to Longhorn Steakhouse, but usually go during the day. Last night, I entered the restaurant at 8:30 PM with my daughter. Below is a list of events I encountered: 1. Host took time to acknowledge us. He seated us. Waitress came by after 15 minutes and said, 'I did not know you were even there". It seems like the host should communicate to the wait staff about new parties. 2. Ordered French Onion Soup which was amazing last time I was there. This time soup was stone cold. Cheese slices under top layer seemed like there were just cut off the deli loaf and were refrigerator temperature. 3. The menus had bread crumbs in them from the bread they serve. 4. The cloth napkins were dirty and had debris. I did not use them. 5. The bench I was sitting on had food debris around the piping on the edges that was untouched for quite some time. 6. There was paper scraps throughout the common floor areas of the restaurant. 7. All of the toilets in the ladies room had urine/poop left in them with toilet paper on the floors in multiple areas. There was also vomit in the HP one. 8. My daughter kept telling me how cold she was for the heat was off. As she got louder about it, the waitress came over and said she would turn on the heat. It was uncomfortably cold in the restaurant. Attached are pics. I may or may not go back, but if I do, it will be during the day. I enjoy dining here with friends after a long day at work. For an appetizer, we share a Texas Tonion over some drinks. I like the complementary hot loaf of bread with butter. My favorite dinner entree is the 10 oz Longhorn Salmon served with a house salad with bleu cheese, rice pilaf, and a baked sweet potato with butter and cinnamon (my favorite side). The salmon is very flavorful and cooked just right. For dessert, the Key Lime Pie (bit of tartness) with a cup of hot coffee is a good ending to my meal. Just got back to my hotel excited for my meal and what do you know they did not give me dressing for my salad. Little things mean a lot. So, I'm forcing down my salad with no dressing and started to eat my Salmon.......the disappointment continues. I can understand if the Salmon is overcooked because it was a to-go order but the fact that it had no seasoning whatsoever was a massive fail. I love longhorn steakhouse, I eat at the weekly as I travel. Great Ceaser salad to start and I'm a big fan of all their steaks. Even there lesser priced sirloin steaks are absolutely delicious. And I'm also a big fan of their prime rib... And dont get me started on their red rock river shrimp, soo damn gooood!!! The chicken dish with the chardonnay wine sauce, sun dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts is also incredible. Longhorn steakhouse is better than all their so called competitors... Haven't been out to a restaurant since the pandemic started last year. Brought some family along after a day of shopping at the mall. Our waitress Arlene was so pleasant and attentive to all of our needs. She struck up friendly conversation almost every time she stopped by our table. Even when my five year old daughter got a little fussy she was patient and tried to make her feel better. She even wrote a sweet note on our receipt. My boyfriend and I are frequent longhorn goers so we decided to yelp about our experience. I would say in the last 4-6 months this location has gone down hill. Now let me express why. We used to come in 3-4 times a week. Awesome manager and even started befriending the wait staff, they knew who we were and usually remembered our order. We now come to this location maybe once a month. New staff maybe? But definitely unfriendly. New chef maybe? Because there is always something to complain about with the food.
