My wife and I just had dinner at this location. The gentleman who seated us was pleasant but unenthusiastic. Ada, our server was perfect; polite, accurate, there when we needed her, but she did not hover. The bread and chicken wraps appetizer were hot and tasty. My wife had chopped steak with mushrooms and onions, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. All was delicious, although the potatoes could have been hotter. Last 2 times service has been terrible. Last visit we sat in a corner booth for about 8-10 mins before the server said "oh they didn't tell me I had a table!" Steak ordered medium was basically well done. Disappointing. Just now we sat for 8 mins and had to ask for our server, who was standing around doing nothing. After finally coming over she took our drink order and was never seen again. Literally every time we come here, it's a good experience. Between the cleanliness, the nice staff, and the ambience, it's a great place to come for a nice dinner after a hard day's work. Went here for my birthday dinner, the staff was amazing. All of the food was excellent, We had found a hair in our appetizer and they were quick to comp it from our bill. Later we paid online at the table and it was before the staff was able to clear it from our tab as well as the birthday dessert. Then manager Brenda came out and apologized for the mistake and told us not to worry about the bill that they would take care of it. I thought this was going to be a terrible visit because the hostess took a few minutes to greet us. We were actually going to leave right before she came over. Once we were seated, our waitress greeted us promptly. She was pleasant and helpful. The kids were given coloring sheets but no menu. Our waitress recited it to us though. The kids were hungry so we ordered right away. The food didn't take long at long. The kids had a burger and chicken tenders. Their only complaint were the salty fries. One day - we're gonna get it right. Today I was running errands and dropping some food off for my sugarface because his back is still acting up. Last time I visited, customer service was awful but food was ok. Today, customer service was great but food was not good. The service - 5 stars The online system wouldn't let me order the chicken sandwich since it's listed under Lunch - so I had to call it in. The manager who took my order was friendly and went over my order thoroughly to make sure he had it right. When I called to report my arrival - I got more friendly customer service. The gentleman who came out with my food was courteous and friendly. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries. No pickle, no onion, no sauce. Just lettuce. Extra tomato and a side of mayo. Next item - dinner portion of chicken tenders, French fries and side salad. Extra tomatoes, ranch dressing for salad and honey mustard for chicken dipping sauce. The food - 0 - 1 stars My fries were visibly dark so I wrote them off immediately. Whenever I get cold fries, old fries, burnt fries or oversalted fries - I used to get upset, now I just chalk it up as the universe trying to save me some fat, calories and sodium. Lol. The wonderful server asked if wanted a replacement item but unfortunately I didn't have time. (Thanks to Home Depot canceling part of my curbside pick-up order without notifying me - I was gonna have to drop J's food off, then come back and run inside Lowe's and shop for several items and I was on a pretty tight schedule.) My chicken sandwich looked beautiful and was a nice portion but I kept getting bites that tasted slightly burnt. See pics. They also forgot the mayo. I hadn't eaten since 7pm the night before so I still wolfed that bad boy down. I decided to snag J's salad for myself. They forgot to give me a fork. It was full of bad leaves. I picked around them. See pics. When I gave J his food he said his fries were too salty - and I have NEVER heard this man say this. He loves salt. Just ask his physician. He also said they tasted burnt and his tenders tasted slightly burnt. The looked fine - if a little small. (Longhorn's tenders are always small - about the size of Chick-Fil-A tenders - but when they're done right, they're DELICIOUS and the best around.) I wonder if it was a cooking oil issue? The other thing - there was a weird, reddish 'mystery' sauce smeared inside the top edge of the container and on the bottom of the container as well. See pics. It's always a bit daunting when you see visible smears of something - in or near your food - that is clearly not a remnant of any part of YOUR actual food. He was hungry and needed to fill his belly so he could take pain meds so you know he scarfed the tenders down and some of his fries too. Lol. We didn't eat the bread. The value - unsure how to rate I paid $28 and added a $4 tip. So $32 for a chicken sandwich and 9 small tenders, a few french fries, and a few bites of salad - didn't feel like a good value. Anyway - I'm thrilled to see that the staff is now upbeat and positive. I'll be back and I'm sure this was just an off day. I had a good experience here. The food tasted good: standard Longhorn quality, which is good quality. The atmosphere of this Longhorn was pretty cool. Some neat cowboy quotes scattered here and there made for a good atmosphere. The service was excellent. I highly recommend Veronica. She did a terrific job for us: got us napkins, kept our drinks filled, worked out our check. We couldn't have asked for better. I'm not typically a big Longhorn fan, but I would return to this location. read more

Wow! As of today this place has a 3 rating. I'm giving it a 5 not because it is a true 5, but because, apparently, I need to counterbalance a few unfair reviews. The service is quick and friendly. I usually sit at the bar and I love each one of my bartenders. My favorite is Flo's Filet with a lobster tail. It doesn't stick out a you from the menu, but it's there. They should fix that. My goto lunch is the chicken tenders. They come out hot every time and so do the fries. I don't think there's a bad item on the menu. Try the asparagus! Again, the staff is wonderful and you can tell that they all have a great working relationship and love to good around with each other. They can get really packed at times, but they handle it well. The service was slow, however the food was the real issue. We ordered the Wild West shrimp, 20 minutes later, it never came. We canceled it. Two kids cheeseburgers, both came out like hockey pucks. I'm a recent widow and have gone here twice since my husband died. I'm obese, and out of habit ordered the texas tonion , with a salad and my meal. As I was eating, and was very hungry , i must've been the object of amusement for the waitstaff for that shift. 2 seperate ones came out, stood right beside me, didn't move and acted lilke they were looking across the room at something else. They didn't fool me. I was a waitress when I was younger and know what kind of " games" they play esp when they want to see what a customer is doing without the customer catching on. I'm 58 yrs old, a widow,not a pretty looking lady, and heavy. The food was good but i do not appreciate being treated like this by the waitstaff, who the 2 that did it were young males. Will I go there again ? I doubt it, not at this location, but if i do and they pull this again I won't hesitate to whisper in the young mans ear that I know what they are doing. read more

This is the best Longhorn restaurant in the Atlanta area. The food is great and the service is A1.

What's become of me? Two middle-of-the-road steak houses on two consecutive Saturdays! (I need to find friends with more adventurous palates!!) Looking at this as a scientific experiment, I chose the same dish that I ordered a week before at Outback: parmesan crusted chicken. And the consensus -- drum roll please -- Outback's chicken was tastier. BUT, for those with hearty appetites, LongHorn's portion was bigger. And maybe more cost-effective. The meal comes complete with a salad and side, while one has to pay extra -- I think it was $2.99 -- for salad at Outback. My husband thought his steak better at LongHorn. And the others happily gobbled their red meat choices, not committing to either good or bad. (Yeah, they liked it.) I enjoy the house dressing at LongHorn, a tangy olive mustard concoction. And the bread is crustier here (though still of mediocre quality.) One last comparison: cheapie Chardonnay. A dollar less at LongHorn, but not as robust as Outback. Final comment -- and a reason I wouldn't return to this location: There's an odor when you walk into this place. And not of flowers in a meadow. Plus the floor was sticky. Ordered the steakhouse burger and received a overcooked and burned burger patty as well as bun. Told the waitress who reported it to the manager. I never saw the manager at all. The waitress came back out and told us that the manager took some money off the price of the burger and that she was sorry that she would only do that. It was 9.99 and she took 5.00 off if that. Maybe she thought that because I ate half of the side that came with the burger that it was acceptable to only take half off. I didn't go there to sit down to a meal of Mac and cheese. The bread would have been nice if the butter hadn't been frozen solid to the point we couldn't even spread it so we were already off to a great start with that and then we had to look at the filth all over the wall next to our seat. Spent $50.00 on this trip for 2 people with 1 person being a child only to eat some Wild West shrimp and a bit of Mac and cheese. This was a pathetic meal. The manager didn't even come out. Service at this location is typically pretty good. I've had no issues with that to date. We decided to have dinner here because I really wanted my favorite meal, the Napa Chicken. Well, tonight I found out that it's no longer on the menu...ugh! Our server, Kelso recommended the Farmers Market Chicken so I thought It wouldn't hurt to try it. Conclusion...I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DISH...Yuck!! It presented as three small grilled pieces of chicken with bite sized asparagus and tomatoes. Whatever the sauce was... it was invisible, so I asked for more sauce and got more tomatoes and asparagus...hmmmmm!! On the side I ordered broccoli as well. After realizing that there was no real sauce, I began to eat and became further puzzled because the asparagus was cold, but the tomatoes were hot, and the side of broccoli was ice cold. Why? I then began to bite into the chicken which was extremely salty with an overdose of pepper. This meal was terrible! I don't know if its meant to replace the Napa Chicken, but it's a complete fail. Kelso offered a box to go because he could see that my plate was full, but I declined. My note to management is that the kitchen needs to make common sense planning (plate to table) when preparing the meal. Veggies don't take as long to cook so plan to put those on last so that all the food comes out hot. And how the tomatoes were hot and the asparagus was cold is beyond me. read more

Regular customers are seated ahead of others! After entering, we (two people) had to wait quite a while before anyone showed up to seat customers. The hostess, named Sarah finally came. Just then, another group of three came through the door behind us and Sarah immediately greeted them and started to seat them. I mentioned that my wife and I were ahead of them and she says "Ok. I'll be right back for you." So, a party of three gets seated ahead of a party of two that had come in first. It was several more minutes before Sarah came back for us. We asked why she seated people that came in after us ahead of us. The answer was, and I kid you not, "Well they are regulars here." Unbelievable and unacceptable! On the plus side, once we got over this issue, the food and server (Kaitlyn) were excellent. read more

The service was great, the wait staff was super friendly, and the food was good! We each got the steak deal: a 6oz sirloin with bread, a salad, side, and dessert or appetizer for $12.99. A great deal, and I am stuffed! A couple of comments on the food itself: The steak was hot and full of flavor. If you get dessert, definitely try the peanut butter cup jar - chocolate cake with a peanut butter mousse - delicious and very rich. Overall, we tend to stay away from big chain restaurants. Had lunch there this past week. The food was great! I had the strawberry/grilled chicken salad & it was delicious. The service was lacking. Our waitress seemed to disappear. I could see several other waitresses taking care of /checking on their tables with smiles and seemingly great personalities. We had to ask another waitress for ketchup for my grandsons fries. ( Our waitress was no where around) Had to ask her three times for lemon for my water before I got any. Never asked if we wanted drink refills. I tipped well hoping she was just having a tough day.,The restaurant was very nice & clean. We will definitely return as we eat there at least once a month. I use to go twice a week but I will never go to this location AGAIN! Front desk personnel are not good at their job. I called ahead and they refused to take my name. I arrived and was told the wait was 10-15mins saw the people who came in after me go in front of me. We were two people and they were sitting the four people before us, regardless of how long we were waiting.
