So happy to have found this spot for steamed blue crabs to go! I was craving crabs in early May so we trekked out to the Wharf in DC during COVID and got half a bushel from our usual place and they were by far the worst crabs we ever had. We were disappointed and still craving blue crabs. We found Lopos on google and thought, "well they can't be worse than the crabs we got from the Wharf so let's give it shot" We ordered a dozen of the XL for 95$ and they were gigantic and heavy! they actually seemed more like Jumbo size. they were very full of meat and the guy threw in one extra for 13 total. the crab meat was a tad bit dryer than usual but i would rather have that than wet, mushy crab meat. overall, they were delicious and we will certainly go back for our crab fix rather than going to the wharf! read more

We discovered Lopos a year ago by driving by their stand conveniently located in South Riding. It's brought us back this season four weekends in a row (so far) for the best crabs ever. Just decided at the last moment to stop at this crab bus yesterday afternoon and picked up a dozen large crabs. They were busy but was able to accommodate my order within 10 minutes. I've been eating crabs my whole life and these larges were more like Jumbos! They fed me, my sister and parents and we were stuffed! Great customer service and great crabs!! read more

To find a good crab place out near Ashburn is extremely hard. So glad that I found Lopos. Amazing crabs that are reasonably priced.

My wife and I loved this place! It's a small small, cozy food truck off of route 50 fairly easy to find. I had heard the waits were long if you don't call ahead, so we put in a pretty large order for some family coming over and the food was ready as soon as we got there. The price is fairly reasonable as well. We ordered the spiced shrimp and a couple dozen of the large crabs. The food was phenomenal! I love everything about this restaurant. If you love seafood, definitely check them out. I got to talking with the guys and its a father/son run truck. Seems like a genuine family business, and they actually care about their product! Looked for a place we could get crabs locally and we tried LoPo's. We wanted larges, but we must have waited too long to put in our order. We called on our way and with a short wait, the mediums they had left we're ready - they even threw in a few extra. Got crabs twice from them over the summer. I really wish I would have saved my money and went down to the wharf. I know it is a lot easy to stay west when you live out there but paying more money for smaller crabs is not worth it to me. read more

Best take home crabs in this area! My husband and I grew up eating blue crabs in this area and would frequent Quarterdeck in Arlington or drive out to Cantons in Maryland and now we never go far for crabs. They have huge steamed shrimp, blue crabs, snow crab legs...etc. the prices are better than the wharf or any local crab place around. Joe is awesome. They are open Thursday to Sunday during crab season. read more

Tried Lopos for the first time last weekend. Excellent customer service. I called to place an order, no answer. 2 minutes later my phone rang, it was Lopos calling me back! Got 2 dozen xlarge crabs and 2 lbs. steamed shrimp. The crabs were heavy, well seasoned and the meat was sweet and fresh. Shrimp were great, 16-20 count, cooked and seasoned well.
