I love this spot and I am happy to try other dishes on the menu. I really enjoyed their bun with beef and egg rolls. Their fish sauce is sweet, but good. 10/10 Also my husband loves getting their com Tham, pick 3 for $21. He always gets 3 pork chops! 10/10

Came here for dinner and we were able to sit right away. Servers were all fast and nice and food was descent but little saltier for our taste. Portions are good.

So glad there's more Vietnamese spots to try! I was seated immediately while waiting for the rest of my party, the place was pretty spacious. Food was good and I'd def come back to try other items on the menu. Shaking beef 4/5 -slightly chewy but I'd order again Steak & Eggs 4.5/5 -pate with the bread and eggs was soooo good Wings 4/5 -sweet&spicy, deducted a point because it got soggy somewhat fast Thai tea (not pictured) 3/5 -I like mine sweet and this tasted like 70% sweet, even with the whipped cream

I ordered the crab and pork meatball Pho soup. I didn't like it, honestly. I should have stuck with what I know I like - the chicken Pho soup. But I don't like chicken anymore after having lived near a chicken farm. So it wasn't my scene. But the family I am staying with loves this place and loved the food. They are very happy. The waiter was nice. The place is very clean and well-kept. Apparently it's very noisy on karaoke night. And the people singing karaoke are very good at it!

Massive portion when i got lucky and got a big bone!! Steak knife comes with to slice meat off bone and it was mostly tender.

Great service! Amazing food!! I like the ambiance as well. The portions are the best from the appetizers and food to the drinks. The pho broth is very tasty. I had never had Bone- in Beef Pho, but it is my favorite. The short rib pairs perfectly with pho with the fattiness and tenderness of the meat. The spring rolls were great, we tried the pork sausage spring roll and the regular. This is literally my new favorite place for pho. I think everything on the menu looks like it would taste great. Another great item was the watermelon yogurt cooler and kiwi yogurt cooler. So fresh and refreshing!! My daughter ordered the Whipped Thai iced tea and I as very pleased:)

I tried this restaurant this week for lunch and we LOVED it! It was incredibly busy, but we were seated as quickly as possible. We were also served very promptly. The inside is decorated nicely as well. They have a good sized menu, but we were here for the pho! I got the "make your own" pho with options A, B, and C. When it came out, it was perfectly hot and delicious. I really enjoyed their broth and it came with a good amount of meat too. I appreciated how it was cut into manageable pieces. I would love to come back here and try more of the menu.

Saigon Bistro in Chantilly has truly stepped up their game! The space is surprisingly big and beautifully set up -- and on weekends, they even have karaoke with some seriously talented local artists. It makes the atmosphere so lively and fun, perfect for a night out with friends or family. The service here is amazing -- the waiters and waitresses are friendly, attentive, and super fast with everything. I barely had to wait for refills or food, which is always a big plus. One of their new dishes, the mussels with raw quail egg, totally caught my eye. It looks exquisite -- fancy, delicious, and definitely a must-try for anyone who's a foodie or likes a little adventure when dining out. Their menu has evolved so much since they first opened -- from just a few simple dishes to a wide variety of extraordinary, creative, and beautifully presented options. They still serve the classics like Bún Bò Huế and Phở, which are comforting and authentic, but they've also added more unique dishes like the soft shell crab rice in a stone pot -- absolutely amazing in both presentation and taste. Best of all, this spot is only a 5-minute drive from me, so you can bet I'll be visiting often. Saigon Bistro is definitely a local gem that keeps getting better and better!

I go here once again! Service and ambiance the same as usual -- great and no complaints. The Bo Kho was okay. The carrots weren't fully cooked in my opinion (it was too crunchy instead of being soft and absorbed of the stew). The bun rieu was also okay. It was good but was hoping for more crabmeat.

I'm not a pho person at all but Saigon Bistro is the place to go! I had a bit of a sniffle and wanted to get some spicy broth so I came over to Saigon and they were booked and busy! The overall place was gorgeous and the owners were very hospitable. My mom got the chicken pho and I got the spicy lemon grass pho with a beef rib in it and it was really good and light. Not overwhelming in flavor or acidic due to spice it was all perfectly balanced. We also ordered crispy egg rolls and they were really good and packed with minced pork and veggies. I will def come back and make a reservation next time because they also had 3 big party reservations and I ca. definitely see why. Also the price was decent.

Grand opening on Aug 2- a new re-branded spot opened in the plaza. We were pleasantly surprised by the ambience of the place- very clean, classy, wide, and accomodating for groups and families! The service was wonderful, too. Food: Bone in pho 7/10. The broth hit the spot and the meat was so soft and juicy! Shaking beef 8/10. Portion is pretty good, beef seasoning was great, the pairing was great with the onions and tomatoes. Would get this again! Can't wait to return to try some other dishes, too.

Beef Banana Flower Salad (Goi Bo)

Got takeout for lunch. Easy ordering online and food was ready when we arrived. I ordered the cha gio (fried spring rolls) and the gio Bo (beef banana flower salad) I enjoy cha gio with the rice paper so really enjoyed this. Never had the beef banana flower salad so had to try it....it was so good. It was such a nice combination of spicy, sweet, and salty. I would definitely get this again.

Saw that this place took over the last establishment and tried them out during their soft opening. The inside is very well decorated. Feels more elegant than the previous establishment. Service was good. Plenty of tables and booths. Seems good for groups. We had the nem nuong con, shaky beef, and Saigon platter. We enjoyed all the dishes. Would go back to try their noodle soups and pho.

Parking was easy, and the restaurant was very clean, spacious, and peaceful. It was quiet enough that we could actually enjoy our conversation and hear each other. Ali was our server, and he was incredibly kind and helpful. The menu has so many options that we probably would have sat there forever trying to decide without his recommendations. Our favorite dish was the lamb, which can be ordered by the pound. It was so juicy, tender, and flavorful. We also loved the mild Korma Chop, the pumpkin Kawa Manta, the Cold Egg Noodles, and the beef and tripe. The Dolan Gul Chai was incredible. My friend and I finished the entire pot and refilled it with hot water twice. For dessert, we shared the Dolan Cake and the Sütlaç rice pudding. My friend preferred the cake, while I especially enjoyed the creamy texture of the rice pudding. There are so many more dishes on the menu that we want to try. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Ali, for the wonderful recommendations!

The highlight of the meal was the spectacular tableside Flambé dessert--it was both delicious and a fun experience. The service was exceptional. Our waitress was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. The owners were also warm and welcoming, adding to the wonderful dining experience. But what we did get was pretty darn good (if a bit pricey)! The style is much more authentic, so if you're looking for something like Hunan Cafe (Greenbriar), or that NOVA institution China King, this is different. Is it better? For the most part, yes. (But I still crave that Americanized sweet, spicy, glazey brown sauce that comes in slight variations in so many dishes). I had the hot and sour soup, Szechuan spicy fried eggplant sticks, Taiwanese rice noodles with fried tofu, and the Chengdu twice cooked pork. Everything was excellent, except....the hot and sour soup. Honestly, Hunan Cafe and China King beat the pants off this place's hot and sour soup. Here, it was a bit too sweet. It had some red chilies in it, but I could not detect much white pepper. And it's a vegetarian version, so no small bits of chicken or pork. I'd skip this the next time I order from here. But the other dishes... amazing! The noodles were light-tasting but still delicious. The eggplant was garnished with cilantro, garlic, salt, and red chili sauce. The twice cooked pork was sauteed with sliced leeks and the same red chili sauce. I think that's the fresh, zingy, spice flavor profile I like that can't be found at Americanized Chinese restaurants. Sure, China King has its place and I'll still go back there when I'm close (RIP China King Fair Lakes and Herndon). And admittedly, I go to that awful Panda chain occasionally because I never learn. The unfortunate thing is, I'll more likely go to these places than Cheng's because of the price. The pork dish was $21 and the noodle dish was $19. My total bill came to $60 before tax and tip. If I need to stuff my face with a Chinese umami bomb fast, I'm probably going to the other places for $15-30. I do want to try the rest of the menu at Cheng's, but it's going to be a drawn-out process for the sake of my wallet. I'd be remiss if I didn't include a comment from my dining partner. She compared the quality and taste of the food at Cheng's to Peter Chang's (either Peter Chang's-Herndon, or Mama Chang Fairfax). A high compliment. But she said the value is better at those places' AYCE options than what we got at Cheng's, and I agree. If you've been to none of these places, you have to try them all at least once.

I do really like the online menu, where you can see big clear pictures of each dish. You place your order on the electronic kiosk inside the front door. You also pick up your order from the counter and bus your table as well. Water is self-service too, which is good. I ordered the B5. Sizzling Stone Pot Bibimap. It was pretty good and I especially liked the banchan that came with it. But as I mentioned, the portion size was small (and the amount of beef skimpy), though you do have the option of adding extra ingredients for a price. Some pieces of the meat did have an off-flavor. There was a cup of broth (not miso) that came with the bibimap but it had no flavor. It was like drinking warm water. JP ordered the C6. Korean Style Pork Belly. The pork belly was very good and this dish also came with banchan and broth. We also ordered the Spicy Baby Octopus. It wasn't super spicy but it had a very delicious sauce. But probably more onion than octopus. We also ordered the Chicken Bulgogi, which was excellent. However, these two dishes only came with rice, and not banchan. I doubt we will come back because of the price vs. quantity ratio.
