A real good little standard Mexican food cafe. Reasonably sized on the small side with a simple clean layout and decor. Not a walkup counter but actual table service from friendly an efficient staff. Food ourders come out fairly quickly and the wait staff is attentive without hovering. I've been twice in the last month with friends since it is close to our church, and convenient to meet at. I went to breakfast at Los Arcos recently with my grandfather. It's his current favorite for breakfast! He had huevos rancheros, and I had the huevos a la mexicana. The flour tortillas were good, the frijoles were great, and the salsas were very good! On top of that, the service was excellent. The menu is broad, and they have daily breakfast and lunch specials! I've been here a few times and I enjoy their food for the most part. They have some of the best El charro beans I've ever had. Their taco meat is good, it's seasoned well and not greasy. The enchiladas are pretty good too. The street tacos are $6.99 and that includes tea. I will have to say that they are really good. They are tender, flavorful and they give you a lot of meat (I got the asada). So far the street taco's are my fave. Their flautas on the other hand taste like nothing. So they need help in the seasoning department for sure. Service is on point, I only wish their tortillas were homemade. They are a must try. read more

Solid breakfast taco spot! I stumbled upon this place and was pretty impressed overall. The staff were all kind and helpful and the service was quick! I waited about 5 minutes for 2 breakfast tacos around 8am on a weekday, which felt quick. They seemed to have a lot of pickup orders going as well. I ordered a potato and egg taco and a bean and cheese taco. The eggs were cooked well, potatoes had a good texture, the beans had flavor and the tortillas were pretty good. Not my favorite tortillas compared to some other breakfast taco spots I enjoy, but they still seemed fresh. They had lots of taco options and a morning special for 3 of the same kind (there were 4 options) for $2.99. Great prices overall for the quality. This place is worth a stop! read more

Traveling west bound in 410 the restaurant has easy access off but not so much on. The prior restaurant didn't last and that was because the food didn't satisfy. So for this place to make it, it needs to step up their game. Positives are the place is well lit, immaculate, and wait staff are very attentive. Negatives. First the price, it is not competitive for that area, next road down is El Palmar and the food is considerably better. I had cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. Beans were can, 100%. Rice was pre made as well. Enchiladas had the right consistency but the cheese was so overwhelming in flavor and quantity that I was unable to finish those. One bite from the rice and beans and I left that as well. Tortillas were definitely home made, but not there which means they buy them somewhere locally and they weren't warm when served to me so "fresh" would probably mean made early this morning and now I am eating them 6-8 hours later. Ton of potential as it is cleaner than 90% of Mexican restaurants but won't last without a drastic redirection in food quality. I've been to the location off of Judson and Stahl Rd but was my first time at the location off of 410. Both locations are amazing however the location off 410 today was extra great. All staff were smiling, enjoying their job, and greeted everybody. I got asked by multiple staff how everything was and if I needed anything throughout my short time in there. I'm in the boat with a lot of people those nice locations like that just can't make it if they can't compete with the taquerias down west ave. This one in particular Downey make their own tortillas and the lemonade is just awful. I just got tacos because of how close it is and the fact that it is a lot to drive down west ave when I live well north. I really want to love this place but it's just isn't good enough it's okay but when u know u can dive a mile further and get fresh tortillas and beans hot and homemade, why would u not just go a little further.
