Great spot for brunch with a beautiful inside and patio seating. They have lots of options for breakfast including pancakes and waffles. There's more typical Mexican options like breakfast plates with huevos rancheros and chilaquiles. The chilaquiles divorciados lets you pick any two of the flavors and it was a big portion. The service was very quick and friendly.

This spot was beautiful inside and out! The server who helped us was amazing. He took time to give us recommendations of where to visit in our short time in San Antonio. The food was incredible, their taco suave was amazing, the chiquiles with the eggs is a must!!

Service was great. This restaurant was our pick for our book club gathering this month. We appreciated not feeling rushed to eat and leave. We were able to enjoy our discussion and drinks.

The restaurant building itself is just beautiful! The plants and flowers just add to its beauty. The service right when you walk in is so welcoming and they take care of you like your family. Our waiter Paul was one of the best waiters we have had in a while. He was friendly to my 2 daughters (2 and 4 year old) and was making jokes with them to keep them laughing. The food was delicious authentic Mexican food. It's not Texmex which we wanted. The mole was a little sweeter than usual but my wife and dad both still loved it. The poblano enchiladas were perfect according to my mom. She wanted it spicy but not too spicy and they definitely met her needs. The fajitas were pretty good. Steak was pretty tough, so I wish they could have cooked it for less time and the chicken was flavorful with the onions and peppers it came with. The best was the cucumber vodkarita. The flavor of cucumber was so strong and you could barely taste the vodka but it gave us a pretty good buzz. Overall a great restaurant and well for sure be regulars.

This first time experience was outstanding. Five stars for taste and service. I highly recommend the piña colada as it was a great blend of pineapple and coconut. And it's topped off with whipped cream and a cherry. The happy hour menu items are delicious as well. During this visit, I sampled chicken quesadillas, chicken, flautas, and bean and cheese nachos. All three hit the spot.

We had a great meal here, the service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious! We also got a standard and virgin margarita which was delicious. I really liked their guacamole and chips and the restaurant itself is very pretty.

We love Sabor for breakfast when visiting San Antonio. Their chilaquiles are fabulous!! Highly recommend an order with both the red and the green sauces. The margarita flights are fun to share. The waitstaff is always friendly and helpful. We enjoy the atmosphere out on the front enclosed patio area. Highly recommend Sabor.

We celebrated my dad's 75th birthday here today. The owner Nancy went out of her way to accommodate our party of 18 people. Her staff was awesome. The food was delicious and all our dishes were amazing. The drinks were on point. We are definitely coming back soon. I love the decor here. The decor is beautiful. Lots of photos opportunities in this beautiful place. We highly recommend you visiting this restaurant soon.

Always good food and service! Nice music playing in the background and if the weather is nice you can sit outside under the covered patio.

Do they have Sunday brunch? Do they take reservations?

Hi! They do serve brunch on Sundays from 8 am until 2:30 pm! They're one of the best in town so don't pass them up, however, they don't take reservations so be prepared to wait a bit for a table. If you have a large party you're looking to… Read more

I just called that number on 9/25/2021 and asked about reservations for the next day (Sunday) and I was told it was first come first serve. It took me over an hour to get someone to answer the phone BTW. That's cool, I understand. At least I have… Read more

Service is fast, place is decently clean for the foot traffic, the servers all look happy and eager to work. I ordered tortilla soup, I usually like it with a cup of rice and avocado like most places serve it. However, I definitely think this is a safe Mexican food restaurant when it comes to not overdoing it with spices and the extra stuff. My soup had a decent amount of chicken. I had a mimosa, loved that they used fresh orange juice. Flour tortillas were delicious! Before heading out you need to have the sweet bread!! So goooodd!

People say when in San Antonio, do like the San Antonian's. Nobody really says that. I mean, I just…read moredid, but I also just made it up. With that being said, let's make up a review. Except I'm not actually making the review up, I've been to the place. Both San Antonio and the restaurant moments away from being reviewed. I'm always down for solid Mexican food. It's always pretty damn good. I mean, at the pure base of things, it's basically the same few ingredients, just different vessels to get it to your mouth. I'm never bad about that. I love transportation. Mi Tierra was a pretty great looking place. Plenty of space, a nice outside waiting area, plus a bakery. I have never been to a place with a bakery that I didn't like. It seemed like a very authentic place, and that's coming from a resident of Michigan. A resident that eats Taco Bell. A resident who eats Taco Bell and think's THAT'S authentic Mexican. The first thing I noticed was that this place did not seem to serve burritos. Not a marker really for me, but it was something I've never came across before. I also thought that you were stuck ordering enchiladas or tacos in a meal type of setting. Upon further questioning, you can order a la cart. That was a relief. I ended up ordering the enchiladas Verdes because sometimes I ignore my color palate and go for green. And because I can't just stop eating one form of meat, cheese, and sauce, I ordered a taco. Actually, I just ordered a taco because I wanted a dryer enchilada. Or did I order the enchiladas because I wanted a wetter taco...I don't know anymore. Anywho, I ground beef, American style taco. Now, I've always been a big fan of chips and salsa. Some salsa hits, some miss. Some salsa is pureed and is basically red water. Some salsa is just a full tomato. I like my salsa like I like my orange juice. With extra calcium. Wait. Mild pulp. That's it. This salsa pretty much hit those notes. Had good flavor and a little spice left to linger. The main course came out and everything looked delicious. Green enchiladas looked exactly like I expected. However, it took me a moment to realize I was not looking at a burrito...but instead, my taco. It was served a peculiar way. wrapped, seam down, with a little bit of the meat on top, pico and lettuce on the outside, next to it. It was a burrito peacocking as a taco. I've never seem this display before, and I have been to many Taco Bell and non-Taco Bell restaurants. The taste was pretty good, though. All the taco flavor in a burrito jacket. The enchiladas were pretty decent, too. Everything tasted like it had all the ingredients and that they were in all the right spots. No doubt about it, I was full after e

We started…read morewith the Pan Fila Conchota combo that is a combination of the two that is 1/2 gallon of hot chocolate made using a base of Abuelitas with additional cinnamon, and cocoa along with something special. It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
