Beautifully done all I can say. If you want some good ass chilaquiles here's the place the only thing that might bother people is the wait time. There's a good reasoning for this doe it's really small and it's always full so you know the food is good. Friendly staff, and owner as well all are very nice and it's just a great environment. Very decorative with the paintings and you can tell the chef really put a lot of love into her recipes and she has friendly charisma. I read great reviews about Los Chilakillers and we decided to try them out for breakfast today...WOW! We ordered chilaquiles with Lonestar sauce & added a fried egg and spinach. It was delicious. Two of us shared it and it was very filling. We substituted black beans for refried beans since the refried beans have lard (pork shortening). Even though it was a little chilly out, we decided to sit at one of their outdoor tables and enjoyed sitting outside very much. The service is great and they have lots of breakfast options. We are looking forward to coming back again. read more

This restaurant is located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking. 2 tables for outdoor dining and several tables for indoor dining. We ordered takeout over the phone and it was all very quick and seamless! The lady who took my order was very nice, answered my questions, and was able to give recommendations. We tried the fajita salad with chicken, chaparrito soup, and Longhorn chilaquilas with fajita chicken. Everything was fresh, delicious, and big portions! Only one review?! This place is awesome. Their specialty is the chilaquiles which are delicious and come in a variety of flavors. But there's plenty more. They're apparently done more in the Cali Mex style as opposed to Tex Mex style. I don't care, all I know is the food is awesome, service is great, everything is fresh (they even make their own brisket) and there is a very apparent passion for making food and providing the best experience possible. It's an increasingly rare standard and it's especially nice to see a place like this in "North" Austin (but with a downtown type decorum and secret menu). Been here twice. Solid food, but definitely over-priced and understaffed. You easily end up spending about $20 for a single 2 protein chilakiller, drinks and tip not included. In my opinion, the base chilakiller should at least come with one protein by default to justify the price. Waitress was nice, but the service could have definitely been faster and more attentive when eating in. As a result, my order was wrong and I was charged extra. Not sure whose fault that was, but the waitress check ins were so limited, by the time she made herself available to correct it, we were ready to leave. Not a great experience. read more

I am OBSESSED with this place. My husband and I have ordered takeout at least once per week, but mostly 2 to 3 times per week since they opened. My husband loves the Longhorn Chilakillers with beef fajita, and I frequently order the huevos rancheros. I discovered chilaquiles in Oaxaca a couple years ago and have yet to find ANYTHING in Austin that... well, that doesn't suck! Sorry, but don't call it Chilaquiles if you're just gonna toss your house chips with salsa, scrambled eggs and a little cheese! That's just insulting! Anyway, somehow I got lucky and found LOS CHILAKILLERS tucked away in a little strip near Walmart at Parmer and I-35. Oh my God it transported me back to Mexico and was even better!!! I got 1/2 Lamar which is frigging amazing guajillo sauce and the other 1/2 I got the Old 183 sauce which is green sauce with spinach and then I got pork carnitas on the side. I promise you, it's like the best thing I've ever had in my life! Get over there pronto! You will love it. 11/10/21 I think I may have found my place. I recently moved to N. Austin for work and have been dining at the local eateries trying to find "my place." I've found some great spots in the area but all have been found to be lacking in some aspect of their service but Chilakillers nailed it this morning. I think it would be hard to top this place. Seating is limited but it has a very noce cafe feel and the motif is great! I've never dined on a more juicy plate of chorizo and eggs. They breakfast potatoes were fried to absolute perfection. you know? the oind that are puffy, crispy on the outside? the beans were packed with flavor and the breakfast salsa was prepared perfectly. The experience was great and I spoke with the owner who is very experienced and has been in the business for quite some time. I'll be returning in the morning with my +1 to try these chilaquiles. The store looked cute walking in, there was a sweet lady who gave really good service as well as the other employee with her. I came with my dad not knowing what to order but we were told the lone star & the longhorn were the most popular dishes there, so my dad had the lone star & I had the longhorn. It was delicious ! Presentation wise, it looked scrumptious & it's a big portion that they give so go when you're HUNGRY ! I had my first bite & man... I fell in love. The chips had a nice soft crisp consistency & the salsa (which are homemade) is delicious ! Had a nice burst of flavor all together including the beans.
