We came here two days in a row, back to back, for ATVs and zip lining. Canopy River's systems are really tight knit. You do your activities and then have lunch right after on site. During our lunches here, we tried the: - Mexican platter (the carne asada was delicious!) - Agua Chile - Chips & guac - Piña colada - Horchata Okay, the portions are huge. I recommended ordering a little bit at a time. We have leftovers day 1. The Mexican platter is a nice sampling of a few different dishes. Our server Rafa recommended it and it was solid. During our second lunch, we wanted to try something that was a local favorite, so we got agua chile. If you haven't had it before, it's like ceviches big cousin. The shrimp was sooo fresh. The dish definitely has a nice spicy kick to it. We enjoyed it. The drinks were great and very large. Service was great! We had a great time.

Came here after our Canopy River Tour (Rzr). First of all usually scared with restaurants that are part of tours whether it's before, during or after as they tend to be overpriced and not very good. This place however was quite pleasant. Ordered Strawberry Mojito, strawberry Margarita and Mango Margarita. These drink were GREAT. Enough alcohol so you know it's there but not so much that it's all you taste. Had some Guacamole to start was delicious and our waiter recommended the Parrillada. Says it's for 2 but can feed 3. Food was very good, and I'd definitely be back. I've had others in central Mexico that are 10 of 10 but I can say this plate was a 8 of 10. (Taste was there, just the presentation different than I'm used to). The location is also great, hidden gem with Mountain View's and a very nice ambiance.

Went here during a recent vacation for the canopy river mountain adventures and they had this amazing restaurant overlooking a magnificent view of the mountains. This place is amazing as well as their authentic mexican food. All the staff are very friendly and very accommodating with good food recommendations. Would highly recommend this restaurant and canopy river's thrilling lists of adventures to whoever gets the chance to go to Puerto Vallarta. Would definitely go back again in the future. It does not disappoint.

Mi Café continues to be one of our favorite spots in Puerto Vallarta…read more Everything we ordered was outstanding. The Asian chicken soup was deeply comforting and flavorful; light yet incredibly satisfying. The tuna poke was beautifully presented and spot-on with flavor; fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced. Then came the chicken Alfredo... and wow. Rich, creamy, indulgent, and honestly one of the best we've ever had. Do not skip the hibiscus agua fresca (called Jamaica in Mexico); refreshing, slightly tart, and the perfect companion to the meal. My hubbs even said that if he had to choose one restaurant in Puerto Vallarta as his favorite, Mi Café would be it for its consistency and value. Charming ambiance, thoughtful presentation, and genuinely warm service make Mi Café an easy recommendation. We'll absolutely be back.

It wasn't a place that would indulge your weakness for gluttony. That was fine by me and Jamie W since we were looking for something tasty but not excessive for breakfast. We were in luck because we found such a place in Mi Cafe. We thought we'd have to wait a while for a table, but fortunate for us, a table opened up just as we entered what looked to be quite a popular restaurant. Jamie went for the MX$165 Popeye Eggs, a pair of scrambled eggs laid on a bed of fresh spinach leaves, ladled with ranchero sauce, and presented with avocado, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and crispy bacon strips (Photo 10). The freshness of the ingredients really enhanced the flavors of the dish. The same could be said about my order, the MX$165 Vegetarian Omelette which was a fluffy two-egger filled with zucchini, red onion, spinach, and sliced mushrooms accompanied by seasoned potato wedges and a fresh fruit cup (Photo 9). No toast needed as the plates were quite satisfying on their own. They had bottomless coffee and a bunch of freshly squeezed juices which was a great start. Obviously, I had to order pancakes at a place called the Pancake House. I expected them to be good, but wow...they ended up being some of the best pancakes I've ever had. Thick, fluffy, and somehow perfectly soaked up the syrup without getting soggy. It was a stack of three and looked like way too much at first... but I genuinely couldn't stop eating them. My boyfriend got the French toast, and I barely managed to sneak in one bite before it disappeared but that one bite was incredible! I get why he didnt want to share it lol. The service was quick and super friendly. We were joking around with our waiter the whole time which made it even better. The whole place has a really cute vibe too with plants everywhere. Honestly, it was the perfect last meal and such a great way to spend our final morning. I'm definitely going to be dreaming about those pancakes for a long time.

We ordered the chilaquiles and they were so good, definitely a must. We also got a side of habanero sauce, which had great flavor and just the right kick.
