Fast food Mexican restaurants are a staple in Arizona. So trying them comes with living here. The low end of this category is Filbertos, and from there all other fast food Mexican places are typically measured. Los Favoritos is in this category but sits squarely in the higher range of quality. The restaurant is actually kept quite nice, clean and has a clear attention to detail at being nicer than something like Filbertos. Even the restrooms are nicely kept, being both clean and adorned with styled decor. The staff is quick, kind and attentive. Placing the order was swift, as expected at a fast food place. The prices were reasonable with most entrées being 10 or less. There are larger combo plates that price around 12, but still very reasonable. Los Faves does not supply free chips and salsa, but that is standard for fast food Mexican restaurants. The free chips and salsa are normally only provided by sit down establishments. I ordered the Rojo burrito combo plate plus a shredded beef taco on the side. The flavor was nice, and adding the red sauce really was perfect with zesty spiciness. The refried beans were very smoothly mashed, and the spanish rice was light. Los Faves is a nicer alternative to Filbertos with prices almost identical. You will enjoy this as an option for your next time desiring fast food Mexican cuisine.

I have been coming here for 12 years now... everytime the experience is worst than the last.. I want this place to go back to the way the were when the first opened... seems like they have lost their passion... or straight dont care anymore... last night I got a "supreme burrito" ... it was a joke... did they forget to put the meat in? I felt robbed...for $8.99 it pains me to say it but after over a decade of being a loyal customer...I have lost faith in Los favs and don't think they care to make it right either... SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! PLENT OF OTHER AMAZING TACO SHOPS WITHIN 2 MILES!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Love this location. Super friendly staff and exceptionally clean.

Meh. Carne asada is ok. Just ok. Definitely better than, say, Taco Bell, but nowhere near as good as good ol' Bay Area Mexican food. Mmmm...

You start off with complimentary homemade chips and salsa. The chips are always fresh and crispy, and the salsa has a delicious smoky flavor with just the right amount of heat. If you're looking for a good drink, the mango margarita is honestly one of the best I've had. The watermelon agua fresca is another favorite--it's crisp, refreshing, and has just the right amount of sweetness. As for the food, some of my favorites are the pozole, Pick Two Tacos, and the Famous Carnitas, which is also one of my husband's favorites. He usually goes for the Burro Combo, Chile Verde, or Famous Carnitas. You really can't go wrong with any of them! This time, I ordered the carnitas, and they were so good. The meat was seasoned perfectly, tender, and had a nice bite to it. The portion is also very generous, especially with the rice and beans. I almost always end up taking leftovers home, which is definitely a plus. The atmosphere is another reason I enjoy coming here. It's casual, comfortable, and relaxing, and they also have outdoor seating if you prefer to sit outside. If you're looking for a family-friendly spot with great food, generous portions, good drinks, and reasonable prices, definitely give this place a try. It continues to be one of my favorites!

I can see why its a favorite for people. The wife got the Baja shrimp. She said it was ok but nothing that stood out. I got the carne asada. This was where it fell short. It was a thin piece of meat and parts were over cooked. It felt like shoe leather. The parts that weren't were good, tender and tasty. But I felt it had a lack of flavor for a carne asada. The rice and refried beans that came with it were great. The ambiance when you walk in was really nice but unfortunately the metal chairs we sat on were not comfortable. Overall it wasn't bad but there wasn't anything that I'd want to go back for.

We had the tomahawk steak, scallops with bone marrow, and a variety of seafood and veggies. It was definitely on the pricey side, but honestly, worth it for a special occasion! A couple of things were a little disappointing. I had booked two weeks in advance and even called ahead hoping for a table near the wine cellar, so I was a little surprised to be seated in the back corner by the wall and bathroom, especially since it was a Tuesday and the restaurant wasn't very busy. I was also really excited about the ceviche I convinced my husband to order, but unfortunately, we never received it. Overall, we still had a wonderful evening and really enjoyed celebrating his 50th! You only turn 50 once!

From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a beautiful, upscale atmosphere featuring an open kitchen, incredible artwork, warm lighting, and a vibe that's perfect for date night, celebrations, or dinner with friends. Now let's talk about the food... Beef Braised Short Rib: The star of the evening. Fall-apart tender, packed with rich flavor, and served over creamy mashed potatoes that soaked up every bit of that incredible sauce. Comfort food elevated to another level. Prime Ribeye: Perfectly cooked with a beautiful crust, topped with sautéed mushrooms, and every bite was juicy, flavorful, and exactly what you'd expect from a top-tier steakhouse. Crispy Lobster : Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and tossed in a sweet-spicy sauce that kept us reaching for one more bite. Espresso Martini: Smooth, balanced, and the perfect cocktail to enjoy with dinner--or to finish the evening. Dessert: The perfect ending to an outstanding meal. Beautifully presented and every bite was worth saving room for. One of the things we really appreciated was how every dish arrived looking as good as it tasted. The presentation, quality of ingredients, and attention to detail were evident from start to finish. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was lively, and the open kitchen added to the overall experience. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
