Quesabirria taco and flour birria taco! Excellent!
    Sylvia C.

I had had a really rough day at work so I was in desperate need of a cocktail! I have been wanting to try this place for some time and since I was craving a spicy margarita, I thought I would give them a try. Note to self... Don't go into a Mexican restaurant challenging the bartender to make an extra spicy margarita with tajin! This was the spiciest margarita that I have ever had! In fact, I think they may have used serrano peppers or habanero peppers. I can't blame them because I did tell the gentleman Don't be a punk when it comes to the spice level when you make my spicy margarita! I couldn't finish it though because it was too spicy. The food is very good. I had the quesabirria taco and I also had a flour taco with birria beef. Both were outstanding. Most of the items on the menu are à la carte so keep that in mind when you order. Next time I go, I will definitely try the salsa bar and the rice and beans.

The Taqueria Factory Tour with esquites.

We arrived for a late lunch in a Saturday. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. We took a menu to sit at a table and decide what to eat. We went with the Taqueria Factory Tour. Thus let us try most everything on the menu is some form. We got a carne asada taco, cheesy shrimp taco, quesabirria taco, pollo mulita, al pastor vampiro, campechano quesadilla beans, chips salsa and guacamole with a churro. We also ordered a side of esquites. Food was served quickly, and was delicious. My favorite by far was the shrimp taco and campechano quesadilla. My husband loved the al pastor and said the carne asada took him straight back to his families trips to TJ as a kid. Highly recommend. Will definitely be adding this to the rotation!!

Piece of plastic in beans and cheese burrito.

First of all, these portions are TINY. The kids quesadilla was Barbie sized. Second of all, the ONLY good thing on the menu is the birria. Not the soup, just the meat by itself. Everything else was horrible. Not to mention, my four year old took a bite of her beans and cheese burrito to pull out a huge piece of plastic! Talk about disgusting and a choking hazard. Not to mention, they charge a fortune for beans in a bag? We barely got any food for $90. Will absolutely never be back. Worst mexican restaurant around. Even Taco Bell beats this place.

There's a really nice manmade lake next to this establishment. As you might expect, this place specializes in Mexican food from nachos, tacos, burritos, quesabirrias. They even have a $40 meal deal to try a little bit of everything for 2 people. They also have Aguas Frescas from Frutilandia which are quite delicious but offer no free refills on them. Their cash system is flawed as they only allow you the use of one gift card even though other places can accept multiple gift cards. What I like is the prompt service as once you order, they start making your food and have it out to you pretty fast. I had some super nachos which were nice looking and pretty tasty.

Didn't realize it was this place was so close by. Ended up coming here with my family as they had a keto option for quesadillas which I was curious about. Really liked their keto quesadillas with the birria. Was tender and flavorful, however was a tad oily. For the price it was delicious and the portion was good. We also tried their carne asada, and shrimp as well. All were really good and fresh tasting. I would also recommend their sides of pickled onions and cucumbers. Lastly, we did get the chips but they appeared to be undercooked so likely wouldn't get that again. All in all I would definitely give this place a try but maybe pass on the chips.

Cool taco spot and much more, I tried the Taco Gobernador which is cheese and shrimp very good along with carne asada tacos with everything Cilantro, Onions and Guacamole. Also ordered the trio appetizer which is chips, salsa and Beans. My friends had the Birria Ramen and Carne Asada Burrito which they enjoyed. For drinks we had a Michelada it was great and refreshing, Cucumber mint again Fresca and homemade Horchata which was my favorite. There's lots of tables and a bar to seat and watch a game. nice and friendly staff.

First time here. Tacos were very tasty, street corn amazing and the rice and beans were good. Had the Campechano Taco and the Choriqueso Taco and, dang, spot on! Highly recommended. Enjoyed the music! Plenty of seating. Overall self serve including the very generous salsa bar.

Atmosphere - When we arrived, there was one couple inside along with one solitary eater. While there, at least two more small groups of people arrived. There was a good amount of tables and chairs in the restaurant. Temperature inside was good. Not hot or cold. I have been to some places where it's been hot. Patio. A couple who arrived after us sat on the patio. Hope they didn't get too many mosquito bites. I visited the restroom. I was surprised that they did not have automatic soap dispensers, faucets, or paper towel dispensers. Almost all of the places I have been to these days have at least one of these items as automatic, along with the automatic flush toilet. The inside of the restaurant has a strong floral scent to it. I feel like there are quite a few restaurants with this scent these days. I don't like it because the scent often gets into the food. Someone told me it is floral bleach, but I don't know what it is. This might be the third restaurant so far. Food - We had the QUESABIRRIA $4.50 birria taco with melted cheese on corn tortilla. Served with side of onions & cilantro. The cilantro was a bit bruised. Otherwise, it tasted fine. The shredded beef was juicy. It didn't taste salty. I didn't think it had much flavor. I forgot to take a picture of the inside. We had the CHEESY SHRIMP TACO $4.50 (taco gobernador). shrimp with melted cheese and sautéed veggies. I didn't find any veggies in my taco. I didn't think it had much flavor either. I forgot to open it up and take a picture of the inside. We also had the MULITAS Choice of meat, melted cheese, laid flat in between two corn or flour tortillas. Served with avocado spread, onion & cilantro. The avocado spread wasn't flavorful. The flour tortillas was soft and good. I don't like corn tortillas. The carne asada beef was good. Not chewy or tough. We also had the VAMPIRO Corn tortilla served open face, melted cheese, avocado spread, onion, cilantro and choice of meat. I also did not think the avocado spread on here had any flavor. The pastor (marinated pork) we chose reminded me of a breakfast flavor. There were a couple of tiny bits of pineapple. Service - There were at least a couple of employees. The service here was fine. We found our own seats and sat down after ordering at the register. Ordering went well and the food came out a little slow. They call out the number on your receipt for you to pick up your food at the counter. You can get water around the side where the soda machines are located. Parking - The restaurant was located inside of a shared lot. Was not crowded during off peak hours. No parking meters or parking structures. A parking structure with solar panels on top or trees would be nice. Otherwise, no shaded spots available. Same as most places.

I had the most amazing dish of birria Ramon at the restaurant. The dish was incredible and the service was exceptional. I would recommend this dish and the birria tacos. It was delicious. All other dishes were also amazing.

The service however, has been a miss all three times we've been in. The location is large so maybe they just need to add to their team and do a little additional customer care training with everyone. We came in Saturday afternoon to a small lobby area where a gal was already waiting to be sat and when the third group walked in that lobby got even smaller. We waited for about 5 minutes for the hostess who came off cold and unbothered in leaving customers waiting as the other team members took notice of the filling lobby with no one checking in to let us know we'd be assisted soon. The hostess proceeded to tell us she'd be seating us outside, no offer of sitting inside at all and not once did she acknowledge her absence or offer any sort of greeting, not even a smile. When you're the first person the customer interacts with at business I feel it good practice to create a welcoming atmosphere that represents the space you're entering. Especially a place like this that is known for a fun, lively atmosphere. We were sat outside and our waitress was very sweet and got us taken care of with water, food, and drinks pretty quickly. It was a lot cooler than expected on the patio which was awesome, as I was worried about sitting outside when it was 104. Great job with that Mexicano! But once we got our food our waitress stopped by to check in once and we didn't really see her until the end of our meal after that. No refills on water or check-in to see if we wanted additional drinks (which I feel like happened the last time we were in as well). There's a gentleman with a tiger tattoo on the back of his neck who stops in at some people's tables to check in and have chat, he's never stopped in with us.. it all just seems like the customer isn't a priority at this restaurant. The food is delicious, the drinks are great but for the prices, I want to feel more valued. I want to have that fun experience of going out for drinks in a vibrant high-end cantina where you feel connected with the staff. We'll go back but I would really love to see a more engaged customer support team.

The nachos ended up being the star of the night. They were loaded, flavorful, and very satisfying. There was plenty of food and they were more than enough for both of us to share. My husband ordered the burrito and finished it pretty quickly because it was on the smaller side. After that we both ended up just sharing the nachos and we were completely full. Since this was a delivery order I cannot speak to the dine in atmosphere or service, but the food was packaged really well and everything arrived intact and still fresh. Nothing was soggy and the portions held up well for delivery, which I always appreciate. The nachos were definitely the highlight and something I would absolutely order again. It was clean, the staff responded quickly to me, but I was the only person at lunchtime on the restaurant side, and there were only two people on the bar side. Despite that it was loud. They need sound attenuation, My server was prompt, and freely shared her menu favorites when I asked. Sadly I'm not really a mole fan, her recommendation, but did try the enchiladas divorciadas. First the chips and salsa... the salsa was basically puréed tomatoes. No heat at all. Just some salt. I asked for something spicier and the server found me some habanero salsa. That was tasty, but it probably had very little habanero in it. Again, no better than a low-med heat. I grew up across the southwest so to me that was disappointing. The enchiladas? I really wanted to like this place but honestly? It was unseasoned boiled and shredded chicken, wrapped in a raw / untoasted tortilla. And drowned in some that was not enchilada sauce. The red sauce tasted like tomato sauce. I'm used to red sauce being pepper based. The spicier and more roasted the better. No pepper discernible. The green sauce tasted like it had a hint of green Chiles but mostly tomatillo. Also boring but better than the red. Neither was good. I ate it, I was hungry and it wasn't greasy, but... this was a midwestern spice-hating simulacrum of an enchilada. No bueno, demasiada aburrida. So to sum it up; decent but slightly loud facility, wonderful server, and I would say forgettable food but the reality is it was unforgettably boring.

The carne asada was flavorful, tender, and clearly high quality, and the burrito itself was packed with great ingredients and balanced flavors. The added guacamole was the perfect finishing touch.
