The food was amazing, the flavors remind me of home, seasoning was spot on, every single item we ordered off the menu did not disappoint. The service was exemplary as well, our server did not let us go without water, and ensured we got everything we asked for and more. The ambiance and overall feel of the restaurant was so genuine too, felt like I was in DR, down to the colors on the walls and the music! My new favorite spot. Only complaint is that the owner was not in when I visited the first time so I could shake his hand and thank him for making me feel right at home. It turns out that one of the oldest curators and bartenders of the bar and restaurant had passed from a drunk driving incident and I had not known at all! We took them to our car and ate there. We wanted to eat them fresh and hot and boy were they steaming hot. I loved the crispness of the shells. The filling was very flavorful and moist. I dipped them in the salsa and they had had a nice kick. They were delicious!We were able to polish off four.
