Lost and found is black owned restaurant which has many instagramable moments! I tried to come here with my husband once when I was pregnant and The line was sooo long . I chose to leave! This time we came with The baby on a Monday afternoon! No lines but there was a lot of people still there ! I ordered the lobster Cajun pasta and my husband ordered the jerk lambs! The food was great but service was fine. Another thing to take note was if the bill is over $100 they will automatically take out gratuity. I gave it a 4 since there were lots of flies and I was inside as well as the service wasn't horrible but wasn't amazing! I would come back . read more

Every time i'm in houston i come to Lost&Found. Their food is amazing. I got the cajun pasta the last time i was there and baby that was a good 12/10. I don't usually like seafood but i got shrimp & crawfish. I ate it all and cleared the entire plate. They have really delicious drinks too and yh at hookah be doing it's thing. The only thing is that they don't take reservations so you have to wait in line but it's definitely worth the wait. read more

Finally I was Lost but now I'm Found! Arrived Valet parking available which is a gift and a curse. Stood on line which seemed like it started in 3rd Ward but moved real fast lol. Crowd gives off young "baller" with a sprinkle of sophisticated ratchet lol which isn't necessarily a bad thing but not my cup of cognac ;-) Then seated and tried the smoked pork fried ribs with Henny sauce! Definitely a smash and must try!!! Also had Shrimp Crawfish Dip which was ehhh but nothin to call my Momma about lol. The Drinks gave me Dave n Buster vibes, over the top sweetness but The Golden Cadillac was very good! Idk maybe my taste buds aren't the same as their targeted crowd but who am I to judge lol. A place to visit when coming to Houston? Yes! Decor or inside is nice and they have Hookah on the outside! Ladies/Fellas Night Out? Definitely pull up! Good atmosphere Drinks, depending on what you order. The day I went was storming outside so we sat at the bar however next time we will sit out on the patio the views look amazing. Mac and cheese was a no for me, also not a fan of the corn but that MY TASTE. The fried chicken was .....A GIFT TOUCHED BY BIG MOMMA. lol Crawfish bread was good. This has to be one of the worst places to eat. Quality of the food is quite poor. We had a table to 8 and only 1 individual enjoyed their food. There is no customer service; starting from the valet, host, servers, bartenders, and managers. It took us about 15 minutes to see a server, then an additional 10 minutes just to get water for everyone at the table. We didn't even get a couple of our appetizer's until after our entrées. From the bar; slow slow slow. Our drinks came out all at separate times when some of orders the exact same drink. THIS RESTAURANT IS USELESS, UNORGANIZED, OVERRATED, and GHETTO. I wouldn't return to this place ever, even if they offered me a free voucher. read more

We arrive right as they were opening. We were sitted within 10 mins even though the line was very long. We sat outside with the breeze. We had the pleasure of Taylor and Halle serving us. They were amazing! Very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions on food and drinks. The Golden Cadillac Mimosa is a must. The 3 meals we had were all delicious! read more

Came in for the soft opening and so far so good. A very trendy and "Instagrammable" spot in Midtown. Pretty cool decor with neon lights meets safari chic. Its right at the end of the bar strip on Gray so I didn't need to fight for parking or space to walk. They offer cocktails, food, and hookah on the patio (cash only). Hostesses/hosts were attentive when I came and I hope they keep this up as they get busier. If I could offer one suggestion it would be to move the ATM away from the bathroom because the hallway is a tight pass. Looking forward to coming back again! read more

This was the first omelette that i've had in awhile where I felt like the seafood ratio was good for the price of the omelette, they didn't try to skimp on the crab and it came out smoking hot. My food was so fresh and my fries were crispy. The service was the best part our waitress was so nice, checked in often & told us about brunch specials. My experience here was great and I will be back for the food :) read more

Ok so the shrimp and crawfish dip was AMAZING !!!!!! No complaints there .. but that was my appetizer! I ordered a boil for dinner and I was so disappointed it was the worse meal I've ever had !!!! It was so salty and barely had sauce, I legit only ate one shrimp and had my server cash me out IMMEDIATELY.. atmosphere was nice, server was sweet but won't be here to eat again read more

I didn't get a picture of my wings and waffles because I was too hungry but that ish was slammin! Kush was our waitress and she was great. Made good recommendations and checked on us appropriately. Good ambiance and the music isn't unnecessarily loud. You can enjoy your food and catch a calm vibe. read more

There were so many amazing things about this place, where shall I begin? My mother wanted to have a mother/daughter day with her oldest & she suggested "Lost and Found". She's been wanting to go for awhile but My stepdad wasn't feeling it. I looked it up on Yelp and said HELL YESS. We were both excited. Now, this is a tip. If you go for Sunday brunch be prepared to be in a line OUTSIDE (that's where we wanted to be right?!?) we waited 45 minutes to an hour. We did miss the brunch menu, but we didn't care. We Made mini conversations with people in line. The place is super kind enough to have umbrellas for you to keep the sun away and cold water to drink. My mother kept saying, "we can go if you want to" but that's not my steeze. Let's just say the the place is definitely worth the wait!!! We got us a table inside and this is where I smack my head... we had a wonderful waitress. Super kind, her vibe was amazing, she was from Dallas and moved here to Houston and said she loved it so far. I forgot her name (kye or Kaye) I'm so sorry because she definitely needs to have her name blasted in this post for the amazing job she did for us. She was informative, honest, gave us enough space but still checked on us. By the way, may I add, she was stunning. Now when you got out/eat with my mother she tends to go all out. How could I say no to me my mother when she says, "let's get three appetizers and we will order all the drinks on the menu and see what we like and don't like" my eyes lit up and my heart felt full. You can easily make me happy with just the simple words "eat & drink" . We had a blast!!! Talking about family (the drama and gossip), people watching and looking at all the hot people (literally dressed to the 9s) for me, it was a moment I'll never forget just because I had such a great time. We ordered the fried ribs, fried cauliflower, and the crawfish bread. Yoooo as I'm writing this I'm already beginning to drool. Each one had a delicious taste. I was not upset or had a complaint about any of them. We demolished it all. When it comes to drink, I think only one of them drinks we didn't get to taste because they didn't have the ingredients. Our two favorites were "Golden Cadillac" and "champagne showers". The presentation on both were super cute and Instagram worthy. We ordered another two rounds of both drinks after drinking the whole menu. Our least favorite was the "Charlie Sheen nightcap" drink. The presentation for the drink was pretty clever, but it was way to sweet for us. Other then that this place to us was perfection. We can not wait to come back. I need me a little Sunday funday With the Girls. I forgot to mention, they even have hookah! This place has it all plus a spectacular view of downtown. Let me start by saying this was the most unprofessional establishment I've been to while visiting Texas. As a manager why have your child running around the building while you're working, in my opinion if you don't have a babysitter you should stay at home not at work. Second I decided to sit outside where they had these fans that blow mist and my whole table was soaked in water and getting all in my food and drinks. Third the flies in the place were horrible even when you walked inside they had flies everywhere. I will never come back to this establishment. Also let me add for that nasty attitude of a manager you need to find another job miss ma'am or someone is gonna slap you in the mouth. read more

My husband and I were 2nd time visitors to Houston and ended up here for our friend's anniversary brunch. Our party was large so we were seated outside. Our waiter was very kind and accommodating to the needs of our table, Mijo. This restaurant gives me ATL brunch vibes with the food, drinks, hookah and the DJ going but a great time! I ordered the Belgian waffle with friend chicken wings. My husband ordered the fried egg breakfast sandwich. Both were FLAMES! He also ordered a side of wings. The chicken was fried to perfection. The flavor was on point. We asked for lemon pepper hot sauce on the side *chefs kiss* my waffle was perfectly crispy. A few things to mention here; we did have a large party and the waiter did give the table one itemized check so mentally prepare yourself for that. We did get there as soon as the restaurant opened and by the time we left, the line to get in was long af, cannot confirm if they do reservations or not. Parking is also eh there. You can pay $20 for valet or try your luck at street parking, we ended up paying for the valet. Other than that, highly recommend if you're looking for a great brunch spot! read more

This place has been on my "Houston List to Try" for a while now. Amazing food!!!! 4 stars only because the service started out rocky.... Very slow but since we weren't in a rush it didn't bother me. Visiting from DC and always want to find a nice hookah spot and bar/lounge. Lost & Found did not disappoint. The Wife and I had the lobster bites and fried ribs. The bites were very good... the ribs.... Decent but never had them and wanted to try them. The drinks were spot on. We had the Golden Cadillac, Electric Feel, Sidepiece and a few top shelf Long Islands. Each drink was perfectly made. For the main course I had the Fried Salmon with Mac and Collards. It was very good. Wifey had the Zebra Food Cobb Salad and said it was good as well. Tara was our server and she made sure we had all we needed. Now, onto the hookah. We are hookah oficianados and usually side eye hookah spots with basic flavors....... But we ordered the Blue Magic and it was packed perfectly. We chilled out and smoked for an hour or so and it was dope. Would have given five stars but the only small thing was you could only smoke hookah outside and although they had heaters. It was 50° and breezy. They cranked the heat up but one of us was either boiling or cold. But other than that the experience was dope. read more

I came here on a late Friday night. I arrived around midnight. There was quite a long line to even get in. So my friend and i patiently wait in line. By the time we get to the front of the line, the hostess asks us how many is in our party and asked if we want to be seated inside or outside. We preferred outside. The hostess told us "just a few more minutes". She literally said that 3 times to me and that's when i realized that were probably never going to be seated inside. So we decided on outside and was seated right away. I can see the inside was completely empty. So I'm not sure why we couldn't sit inside. But whatever. So we're sitting our table. I see the other tables around me are getting serviced and we're just getting ignored. So i see a waitress that's serving a table next to us. I asked her if someone could take our order. She seemed apologetic and said "she doesn't know where our waitress was and she'll just grab our order for us". But clearly she was our waitress and just forgot to greet us. Because she was literally the waitress for all of our surrounding tables. I will say the food came pretty quickly after ordering so I was happy about that after waiting in a long line to get a table and then to get ignored after being seated. I went with the seafood gumbo and a side of Mac. It was really delicious! My friend had the Cajun pasta and she enjoyed it as well. They also added an extra food and beverage tax on our bill which i didn't understand. The garden like setting of the restaurant was really pretty. There's music playing but it wasn't blaring and they offer hookah. I really wish the Service was better. read more

Super polite and friendly staff. Phenomenal food!! I got the fried salmon - didn't know what to expect but it was delicious. The sauce served with it is super good and the Mac and cheese is spicy/Cajun and so good I could eat it for a meal! My friend got the salmon with mashed potatoes which was super good. We also shared the Parmesan truffle fries which could serve a huge group of people and was so good. It was great crispy fries but then the Parmesan was maybe broiled on top making it amazing. read more

Visiting Houston for the weekend I was able to try out this amazing establishment. The whole restaurant is a vibe. They do have valet parking ( early arrival is suggested ) as the lines can get super long. We were seated very quickly because we sat on the inside. The inside does not allow for you to smoke hookah that is only able to be done ok the outside patio. The vibe reminds you of jungle/ rainforest definitely Instagram / Tik Tok approved. The food and drinks were amazing and fresh. I had the cheeseburger Mac Turkey burger and it was to die for . It reminded me of a modern day hamburger helper with a twist . Can't wait to go back to H-Town to revisit this location and try out there other location as well :-) read more

I've only had this Uber eats so I'm not too sure of the service or anything of that manner but what the Uber eats drivers always say is this place is SUPER busy! There's a good reason for it too! The food is amazing! I get the seafood pasta with chicken sausage and shrimp in it (I believe crawfish too) and man it's addicting!! Some of the best seafood pasta I've had! I also got for the first time their banana pudding and omg. The best I've EVER HAD!! Will recommend to anyone! read more

Honestly, they almost lost me as a customer because of the line being so long. It was hot as hell, and standing on hot pavement under a beating Texas sun isn't cute. I suggest maybe using a different method for customers waiting to be seated. Maybe text notifications? Or extend the lil umbrella/shade situation y'all had going on. My friend and I waited about an hour to be seated for brunch. She was sweating; I was tired. Once we were able to order, we weren't aggravated anymore. The food was good. I liked the lamb chops. My bestie ordered the French toast, and she thoroughly enjoyed. I also enjoyed the drinks. He asked if it would be okay for him to redo it which I of course obliged. I appreciated the fact that he didn't serve me a drink that wasn't properly made. The wait was worth it. The Martinez tasted like a sweeter Negroni and I really enjoyed it! I'm glad I was able to visit one of the oldest bars in Houston. The downside of this place is the smoke, if you're asthmatic or have trouble seeing this place might pose a couple of risk to you. You might have trouble breathing or being able to see the ground as you walk into the puff clouds of other patrons. There is also a mixture of patrons, some there to enjoy themselves and others to have parties and fun, if you're set on a flat consistent vibe then this may not be a place, there was someone on a couch enjoying their entire life while we were there, luckily we didn't care how they did anything it didn't interfere with us. She then text our friends group and said we all had to come together and we did just that. She made reservations in advance as this place is popular thanks to recent Michelin Bib Gourmand awards as well as many other accolades. Walk ins are welcome as well. Our reservation was later in the evening so after a night of bar hopping, we ride shared in which I think is one of the best options as parking is limited here or you have to find street parking in the neighborhood. This place is literally a house turned into a restaurant. Inside is just multiple rooms with a couple of tables. It makes for a unique, intimate dining experience, perfect for a date night. In our case, we were a group of nine so we got patio seating. The patio is spacious and well kept, and if the weather cooperates, a great place to hang. One thing that really stood out to me is the amazing ambience of this place. I was told that the bartenders pick the music for the night from the owners extensive vinyl collection. Once the album is in, they play it in it's entirety. The sound system was systeming and on top of the great company and food, we were totally vibing with the music. Customer service was amazing. Every staff member we came across was so friendly, especially our server. The menu here changes. There are some mainstays, but they like to change things up. Their website shows current menus daily. We were told that family style is the best way to experience this restaurant. I am one of those people that will always listen to the staff and go with their suggestions. Our group went through quite a bit of their menu from apps, entrees and desserts. I loved that our server and staff brought our food out one by one in what they thought was the best progression so we could take a culinary journey. We started off light with their popular Dilly Bread. Best bread I've had in awhile. Next was the Texas Tartare. It was my first ever tartare and it was delicious. We then moved on to Fingerlingin Good which was a crispy potato dish with chili crisp and mascarpone. It was potatoes elevated to the highest level and so so good. Next up was Beer Battered Sweet Tots. I didn't think sweet potatoes could be that good. Our first entree was a vegan dish called the Carroty Kid. I could seriously become a vegan if all dishes tasted like this. It was curried. A bowl of jasmine rice would've made it a complete meal. Next we tried another famous Nobie's dish called Nonno's Pasta. Handmade, perfectly cooked tagliatelle with a delicious bolognese. I wouldn't share this next time. Ok, I will, but it was that good. On to the heavier dishes. First up was the Jamon With Your Bad Self. This came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It was favorite heavy entree. It was high quality, iberico pork steak with shaved brussels and all kinds of other tasty ingredients that when combined made such a tasty bite. We then went to the sea with the Drops of Grouperter. It was good, but not something I would order again. It was a little too smoky for my liking. Our biggest dish that came market priced was the Kick His Ass Seabass. This was a whole fish that was presented beautifully on a platter with all the accouterments to make your own elevated fish tacos. We left no morsel of fish behind. It was absolutely delicious. One of the things this place is really known for is their pies. This was the part I was most excited about. Just like their menu, their pies change up. We got all their offerings that night which they presented on one big platter of goodness. Their main stay and I believe always on the menu is the famous Olive Oil Cake. It's not a pie, but I can see why this is such a popular dessert. I can't even describe it, you just have to try it to understand. The pies we had were the Black Bottom Strawberry Pie, Banana Rum, and the Peanut Butter Pie. I would order all of them again. We all had a difference of opinion on which was the best, but my fave was the Banana Rum. Overall, I was highly impressed with this place and kind of mad at myself for waiting so long to make it here. It had made it's way to the top of my list of favorite restaurants in Houston. As for ambiance, this is where the restaurant misses the mark for me. It's in an old house, and when we walked in, that's exactly what I smelled: old house. The experience at this restaurant was disappointing from start to finish. Upon arrival, we waited 15 minutes for a table, only to realize they weren't keeping track of the order guests arrived in, resulting in people who came after us being seated first. Once seated, we waited an additional 15 minutes for anyone to take our order, a surprising delay for a restaurant with entrée prices over $30. Adding to the disconnect, we were served with plastic utensils wrapped in a salt and pepper packet--hardly fitting for the price point. The valet parking fee of $20.80 also seemed excessive, given the lackluster experience. The food itself was a mixed bag. The fried ribs with Hennessy sauce and the shrimp and crab queso both lacked flavor, with the queso being particularly thick and difficult to enjoy. The highlight was the lobster bites, which were well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. Our drinks were strong and enjoyable, offering a small positive note. However, when the bill came, they had automatically added a 20% gratuity despite the underwhelming service. Lost & Found in Houston was a great spot to celebrate my cousin's birthday! The atmosphere was lively, the prices were reasonable, and the food was mostly fantastic. We ordered the Cajun pasta, and let me tell you--it was everything! I had the vegetarian option, while my friends tried it with chicken and shrimp, and we all agreed it was an absolute 10/10. Packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, it's a must-try if you go. The chicken and waffles were another hit. The chicken was seasoned just right, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and paired perfectly with the waffles--another 10/10 dish. On the other hand, the lemon pepper fried chicken was good but overly buttery, so I'd rate it a 7/10. The greens, however, were a big letdown--bland and flavorless. I'd skip those altogether. As for drinks, the mimosas were decent, with enough in the carafe for about 5-6 glasses. The D'Ussé and strawberry cocktail was delicious and highly recommended. All in all, I'd definitely recommend Lost & Found, especially for the Cajun pasta and chicken & waffles. Just skip the greens, and you're in for a great time. I stopped in at Lost & Found to kill some time before a flight, hoping to enjoy the same atmosphere and service I once loved. When I first moved to Houston about three years ago, this place was top-tier. I used to stop by almost daily after work, grabbing a drink while waiting out traffic. Unfortunately, my recent visits have been nothing but disappointing. The general upkeep has declined, and there haven't been any noticeable improvements to the aesthetics. It's as if the charm that once made this spot a go-to has faded. This time, I arrived around 3 PM and sat at the bar, the only customer there. Strangely, there was no bartender in sight. Multiple staff members passed by, yet no one acknowledged me or signaled for the bartender. I waited a few minutes, expecting someone to step in, but nothing happened. My first time at Lost and Found was amazing! Mike was very attentive and friendly the entire time we were there! We couldn't have asked for a better experience! We asked and he delivered. I don't drink a lot, so I was looking for something sweet and not so strong, and he was able to break everything down to me with ease and brought me the best drink I've had in a while. I'll definitely be asking for him any other times I come to Lost and Found. It's hard to find good service nowadays with people passionate about what they're doing even if it's just a stepping stone for them. Lost & Found in Houston is definitely a vibe! The wait was surprisingly short--only about 20 minutes for a party of two--and we were able to grab seats at the bar, which added to the lively atmosphere. I started with the Purple Haze cocktail, and it was excellent--perfectly balanced and refreshing. For my appetizer, I tried the deep-fried ribs. Unfortunately, they weren't my favorite, but they were presented well. The highlight of the meal was the seafood gumbo. It was absolutely delicious--flavorful, hearty, and packed with seafood. After attending a corporate event nearby, we decided to dine at Lost & Found. Upon entering, we strolled through the spacious outdoor patio, perfect for relishing the fresh Houston air on a lovely day. Due to our large group, we chose indoor seating. Our server was notably engaging with an enthusiastic personality. However, I was somewhat let down when our water was never refilled throughout our stay. The food, while decent, was comparable to what you would find at a local bar. Lost & Found leans more towards a social, drinks-with-friends atmosphere, which isn't typically my preference.
