Plenty of seating, not many customers. Street parking, not an issue for us. Most people leave this area by dinner time. Open 7 days a week from 11am to 7pm or 8pm. Service - Good and friendly. Counter service. Price - Slightly expensive for Korean "street" food. But then again, Korean food anywhere in the US is usually expensive. What comes to mind when you order an Asian chopped salad? Is it craisins and walnuts? Nope me neither. But the Asian Chopped Salad here is mixed greens, shredded/jullianed carrots, walnuts, and craisins with a maybe sesame peanut dressing. Period. That's it. ($12) Adding the chicken ($4) seemed obvious for the meal I needed but I couldn't imagine paying $12 for that without the chicken. And another $2 for water. Ouch on the price. The salad was big but seriously lacking on flavor or anything to be happy about. They are a little food stall within a food court type seating area. It's a progressive thing for VC. If they expand their menu a bit and really focus the food and fix the flavors on their menu a bit more, they could make it. read more

Great spot for the whole family. Our kids loved the teriyaki chicken bowls. They also have hamburgers as well. Super easy to order and nice ambiance while you wait. There is a spacious dining room as well as a nice airy covered deck with a beautiful view. Our food came out super fresh and very generous serving sizes. Came in for my wife's birthday. Definitely not the type of restaurant I expected in VC, but was wonderfully surprised to find it. Typical interior, lots of brick, wood, and exposed metal. You order at a counter and are given a pager for when your food is ready. The chef took our order, made the food, and checked on us afterward. Was a super friendly guy. I ordered the spicy beef bowl, my wife a burger and fries, and my mother-in-law ordered the chicken and lemongrass potstickers. My wife called her burger the best one she has had in a while. My first time hanging out in VC. I had wanted to try this spot for a while and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the spicy chicken bowl, and it was made exactly how i like it. The chicken is spicy without being overwhelming. The rice and veggies in the bowl added the perfect combination of flavors. There is also a nice patio out back with some impressive views of the valley. I didn't expect to find decent Korean food in VC. This is the first time in a long time that I felt I moved my food around my plate and didn't really clean it all up. Maybe it's a new type of food. But as my friend pointed out, there was "a lot of fat" around the chicken so that made it difficult to eat. I felt the menu was limited but I thought I picked something that would be tasty. We provide a tip but have to travel all the way down to the booth to pick up the food. I guess the positive is going somewhere new and giving it a try. Found this place on Yelp as we have had bad luck in VC with food.. My Wife had the spicy beef bowl and it was exceptional, worth going to VC for that dish alone. I had planed to get the fried rice but balked as it had cabbage in it. I had a cheese burger that was easily the best burger I have ever had in VC. The atmosphere is super clean but definitely leans into that dive diner vibe--unpretentious and very comfortable. ​While the staff was very nice, they weren't the most attentive, but that was honestly perfect for us. What a gem! We love both this restaurant and Hi Me right down the hall. They are owned by the same family. The space is open, clean, and inviting, with friendly owners who care about their food and business. But the best part is that the food is amazing, on par with all LA and OC joints we've frequented. The wings are huge, juicy, and the sauces are full of umami and flavor. Their Korean sauce is also spot on, all recipes perfected by their mother. Not to mention, huge servings for the price point! Teriyaki beef bowl was excellent; the bang bang wings were good, but not as hot as expected. Others in our party ordered burgers with fries. They wanted to charge .50 for about an ounce of catsup. we spent over $100.00 and had to justify complimentary catsup with the staff. Having to negotiate for complimentary catsup was insulting. We went to Virginia City a couple of weekends ago to take the V&T train from Carson to Virginia City, and specifically to dine at this Korean restaurant. When we entered the restaurant , they were empty (perhaps because there was a zombie crawl occurring outdoors), so we had our pick of any table in the spacious dining room. The restaurant's menu offered were chicken wing of different flavors, a selection of potstickers, rice bowls, burgers and fries. We ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings, the teriyaki chicken rice bowls and two orders of the classic burgers plus an order each of the chicken and lemongrass potstickers and the pork and vegetables potstickers. The food arrived with a very minimal amount of wait time, every food was well-prepared, had generous portions and tasted great. The two gentlemen behind the counter were super efficient and professional; the business owner checked up on all the customers to see how everyone were. Food is great and owners are very nice and welcoming! We've had multiple of the bowls which are delicious and come with a healthy portion of meat. Met the owner downstairs at one of the bars one night, super cool guy and got to try some of the potstickers and they were amazing so we came back on our next trip and got the kimchi cheeseburger and the regular burger and the food was amazing!! Best chicken wings! By today's standards, these should be pteradactyl wings. I've tried their Angry Korean and Bang Bang versions and enjoyed both. You get one pound of freshly fried wings and drumettes with a generous serving of fries. I like their fries too, they're seasoned and not greasy.
