Came here for the first time while I was waiting for my car at nearby business. Did not know anything about this boba spot prior but my daughter and I really wanted a sweet treat. I was really surprised at the quality of their drinks, they were so good! We frequently visit here though it has been some months, definitely need to make a stop in tomorrow! No egg pudding! It's so unfortunate bc when they used to be Ding Tea, they had egg pudding. Anyways...bad timing with service. It took almost 20 minutes to get ONE drink! They had 4 people making drinks, but nobody took orders bc of the kiosk. It makes no sense that a single drink should take that long. I couldn't even use the restroom since I was there so long. I know they take online orders but learn to delegate?! 2 people do online, and 2 people do in-person?? On top of that! One of the workers' friends comes in and is allowed to use the restroom! It was very unfair to witness this after just asking to go. My drink was good and I am now a fan of creme brulee foam, but I don't think I'll be returning. read more

I always come to this if I'm in the area in Carson. I like the Taho milk tea mix and every time it's good but yesterday Nov 4, very disappointed. I ordered 2 of the Taho brown sugar milk tea mix and 1 plain milk tea. Usually the milk tea is barely enough to finish this drink , they should serve it in a taller container plus they ran out of cover that day . They didn't seal the regular milk tea which confused me. I placed it on the floor at the passenger side but when I made a rather quick turn, the entire holder flip on its side and since it's not sealed, one top came off and the rest also spilled about 1/4 on 2 drinks and completely spilled one Taho brown sugar milk tea. . I had to stop and get them upright immediately and stop them from spilling completely. When I got home , i had to clean the floor. I drank the Taho drink and noticed the milk tea was very watered down, I hardly tasted the milk tea instead the brown sugar part. I had to remix it with the plain milk tea which was thank goodness on regular mixture. So next time I go there , I will complain. these special mix is almost 8 dollars and I gave them a tip as well. read more

Came in to try their mango milk tea and the husband got a banana cream coffee... both drinks were made perfectly! Service was quick. I used the kiosk and waited less than 10 mins for our drinks. Ambiance was clean with tables and chairs. Parking could be an issue because of those dining at El Pollo Inka. Most likely will return to try other beverages. read more

I've been here a couple times but decided to write a review after trying the double cream matcha latte! I LOVE double cream matchas so i needed to put this one to the test. They have a kiosk in the front which is very convenient and fast. After ordering I saw they had new spinach and cheese croissants which are my favorite! There's lot of room to sit down and study plus they have a public restroom. The plaza itself can get busy at times with parking however you can easily park across the street since it's a mall area. The double cream matcha hit all the expectations. Not overly sweet and the perfect creaminess. I want to try the banana matcha next time. My mom also got the mangonada and was a huge fan. read more

Not too busy on a Wednesday at 6pm. -White peach snow. Not sweet at all. 3/5 -Avocado snow. Tastes like fresh avocado. Not sure what the white stuff was. It was kind of like a cheese foam blend. Had pieces of pit or skin in most sips. 1/5 because of the pieces -Strawberry Yakult. Tastes just like blended strawberries with an interesting aftertaste. 3.5/5 Wish they had levels of sweetness and didn't have pieces of avocado stuff in my drink lol. This was my first visit to Lotus Coffee & Tea in Carson, and I loved it! The shop is clean, cozy, and has a nice modern vibe. I really liked how easy it was to order through the touch-screen panel -- super convenient! My drink, the signature milk tea, was delicious and made quickly. They also offer free Wi-Fi and free parking, which is a big plus. I'll definitely be coming back to try more drinks next time! read more

Was going to order through the kiosk but didn't see the pastry I came for so I decided to wait in line and get my order taken. Stood there for more than 5 min without any acknowledgment from the two people working. I understand that it might be busy and it takes time to get helped but it takes two seconds to be acknowledged. Honestly, best mango green tea I've had ever. It's usually my go to besides Thai Thea or a milk tea. The green tea tasted premium or different. I don't know how to explain it but it was good. The service was great and relatively fast considering how busy they were. The place is t that big but it's cute and modern. So, to be honest....we pulled up to this spot thinking it was the previous spot before Lotus. Long behold, it's been replaced by Lotus Tea Lounge. But, that's okay, I'm not mad about it at all! The layout is pretty much the same. My husband went inside while I waited in the car, and he came back with an Oreo Brulee Matcha. Let me tell you, first sip, delicious! The only disappointment I had was that I didn't have my own. After looking at the menu online, I'm definitely going to have to revisit this spot to try their other drinks. read more

Drinks are a1 so are the workers so friendly.. have a crush on one of them.. ‼ pretty sure he has a gf tho but anyways lol They can be pretty pricey tho... Love how this was rebranded to lotus , they are definitely comparable to omomo - they use real fruit in a lot of their drinks and it's very refreshing! The only is that it can get rly busy at certain times and when it does, it gets overwhelming to even be inside just bc of all the crowds coming in and out to wait- not sure if it's bc they are soft opening but for studying, I wouldn't recommend past 1 pm. Free wifi, many tables to sit at. Music can be loud at times but that's fine. Overall interior is aesthetic and clean, and bright/open. Love this place so far just wish it didn't get so busy. read more

The store is spacious with lots of seating and a restroom for customers. They get a lot of foot traffic, but there's room for anyone to sit down. They have a Kiosk to self order, but they also take orders themselves. I ordered three drinks, I got two Taho Taro Milk Tea with Boba and a Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba. I really liked the Taho Taro, it's more on the sweet side so I would recommend to reduce the sweetness or add extra ice. The boba is chewy for all the drinks, the only issue was that it seemed they forgot to add sugar to the Jasmine Milk Tea. When I arrived home and tried it, it was very bitter as if they didn't add sugar at all to the drink. read more

Some of the best and most potent teas i've ever had, perfect for someone who loves that antioxidant aftertaste $7.50 for a tea + one topping, pretty good serving sizes. Great Demand, But Poor Convenience for Working Customers…read more I've had The Nook's mushroom coffee before. My best friend took me here on a weekend afternoon, and even then there was a line, although it was manageable and mostly stayed inside the shop. Because of that experience, I knew The Nook was popular, but I wasn't prepared for what I encountered on a weekday morning. I wanted to pick up a coffee before work, so I actually planned ahead. Before leaving home, I checked the mobile website expecting that, given the obvious demand, there might be an order-ahead option. Unfortunately, there isn't one. So I gave myself an additional 30 minutes specifically for parking, waiting in line, ordering, and waiting for the drink to be prepared. I figured that should be more than enough for a morning coffee pickup. I arrived around 7:30 AM, and as I walked toward The Nook from the south side of The Enclave, I could already see the line stretching out of the door and into the courtyard. I was honestly shocked. There were easily 15-20 people ahead of me. I decided to give it a fair chance and got in line. After 10 minutes, the line had barely moved. At that point, I walked out. I understand that popular businesses get busy, especially in the morning. But there is a difference between being busy and having a customer wait in a line of 15-20 people with virtually no movement at 7:30 AM, particularly when there is no mobile ordering or order-ahead option. For a coffee shop with this level of demand, I find the lack of an ordering system especially frustrating. If you're going to consistently have lines extending outside the business during the morning rush, there should be some way for customers who are trying to grab a drink on their way to work to order ahead. And that's really my issue: the customer experience doesn't seem designed for people who need coffee efficiently. If you're coming here on a weekend, have nowhere to be, or are willing to dedicate an unpredictable amount of time to waiting, you may have a completely different experience. But if you're trying to get coffee before work, I would strongly recommend accounting for significantly more time than you think you'll need -- or having a backup plan. I no longer work as close to The Nook, and I don't drink coffee after noon, so I don't have much reason to make a special trip. Unless I'm conveniently nearby and see little to no line, I won't be making another attempt anytime soon. The Nook clearly has a loyal following, but popularity shouldn't come at the expense of basic convenience. If the demand is consistently this high, the ordering process needs to catch up with it.

While I wouldn't say the prices are a bargain, it feels more reasonable than other local competitors. One thing I do miss is that 2 years ago, the pastries weren't individually wrapped. We used to have the option of selecting pastries with tongs, the typical experience you'd get when going to a bakery in Japan. Hopefully they would bring that experience back again! Until then, I'll keep returning for their quality drinks!

Aside from the pan de sal, they also have the best lumpiang gulay (vegetable eggrolls) in town -- perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. Definitely one of my absolute favorite bakeries in Carson. If you haven't tried it yet, RUN, dont walk.
