Lost my BEC virginity here and I'm obsessed. The idea of the sandwich for breakfast Isint appealing to me, sounds heavy, and that I'd need a nap! Anyway I had every intention of getting the BEC, then they offered me spicy or not- so I got both and that spicy went down a treat! So good I ate half of the regular just for comparison and I prefer the spicy, just enhances the sandwich not too spicy! And i didn't need a nap! Will most probably never eat another BEC cause ill be sad if its not as good! My friend ate the other half of BEC and as a New York native their eyes bulged! So good :)

I tried Louie's today for a quick bite and got the BEC. This may be my new favorite spot. The food tastes great, perfect melty American cheese and a homemade bun! Staff were super friendly and they even had Aladdin on Super NES to play!! Not to mention the atrium seating area is gorgeous. I'll definitely be back!

Get to Louie's Deli at 9am on a weekday to secure the most delicious breakfast sandwich in Seattle. It's got eggs, chopped bacon, and the best breakfast cheese (american), all on a poppy-seeded roll that holds everything. . It's amazing and the service is great too. It's not a big place but the offerings are worth the trip. Look they are only open Monday through Friday so if you got the opportunity you have to hit this place up.

Louie's has great sandwiches and a decent selection of pinball machines to play while you wait. It looks like I came on a fairly slow day as I didn't have to wait and there was barely anybody else there. The employees told me while I was there that they often sell out before close. I got the Turkey and my wife had the meatball ; they were delicious, great quality mustard and fresh bread! For the price I wouldn't say I was blown out of the water or would wait in a line for it, but if I was in the area and craving a sandwich I would definitely be back!

One of the best breakfast sandwiches in Seattle! So glad they opened although I do wish they were open on the weekends and that they had sausage as an option for breakfast but aside from that, it was so good! The bread had such a nice flavor and texture, and the sandwich has like chopped up bacon rather than strips which I like. The egg is scrambled and soft. The spot is inside Europa Hotel, and its got a super cute little atrium that has seating. Got there right at 9am and there were 5 folks in line in front of me, but I feel like as it get more well known, the line will def get longer.

Their bagels are fabulous as is their lox. For those, like me, who can unhinge their jaw for an authentic pastrami or corned beef masterpiece. Go with the "Ding sized" sandwich. They'll make a smaller Seattle sized version as well for those who don't treat deli as an indulgence of rye and meat piled high. I wish they'd add kreplach to the menu (sorry Vance. I know my litany is old!) but I keep discovering new deliciousness here even after being a regular for nearly 4 years since my recovery from a life threatening illness, that I recovered from in part due to making regular stops here during my post surgical recovery. Just today I had the blintzes for the first time with their in house made cherry compote and sour cream. Amazing. Keep up the amazing work!!! My recommendation for newbies. Get the pastrami on marbled rye with gribenes and mustard. If you're feeling extra indulgent ask for a schmear of chopped liver, if you're keen on said. You won't regret it!

Bonus: this spot is kosher! Potato Latkes (5/5): These latkes are thick boys and fried up so they're piping hot when they hit the table. Because of their size, you really get the contrast of the hard crunch on the outside with super fluffy potato inside. So good we immediately turned around and ordered more. Chocolate Babka (2/5): This was truly the only miss I've had here. Unfortunately, the babka just really dries out after it's been sliced, which is a shame because it's just gorgeous with generous swirls of chocolate inside. Reuben (5/5): I really thought their pastrami couldn't be beat, but the brisket is dare I say better? Just as tender and feels a bit less fatty, so it's a little more crushable. Tip: go for the seeded rye over the marbled rye; something about the marbled rye just falls apart a bit more with the juices of the meat, though it's still delicious! Black & White Cookies (4/5): I expected this to be cloyingly sweet, but this was actually scrumptious with some fresh lemon flavor in the cookie itself. Absolutely massive as well.

I tell ya - go look for them. This place is worth exploring. The counter is filled with the quintessential selections of eye-catching freshly made snacks. My selection this time are the soft rice wrappers with ground meats and woodear inside and the chewy rice wrappers with dry shrimps inside. They never fail me, and I always want to try more varieties. I also bought a vermicelli to-go pack and an order of chicken wings with seven pieces. On a budget but with a taste for adventure? Their prices are very reasonable and full of varieties. With stiff competition from the dueling names of Saigon Deli and Saigon Vietnam Deli, Banh Cuon Tan Dinh Deli is the quiet sibling seeking your attention. Same as their competitors, Tan Dinh is also a take-out only deli shop. After posting on social media, I was surprised to learn I have multiple friends who are loyal fans of this place.
