Really enjoyed this friendly breakfast spot in whitefish. My wife loved her eggs Benedict. I went for the morning special, which was a scramble with mushrooms, red onions, spicy sausage, tomatoes, and Swiss cheese. Great option for brunchy breakfast in downtown Whitefish. It's in a historic building with cool photographs & art on the walls but it's the generous & delicious food offerings that stand out. Nothing too trendy but if you want a good mimosa with a variety of egg dishes (scrambles/omelettes/burritos), we can highly recommend. The pies looked great also but we did not sample. Do note the joint is very popular so you can expect 30-45 minute waits even on weekdays but they can text you when your table is ready, allowing you the freedom to roam around downtown a bit while you wait. read more

Super long wait. Food was good, but not great. Biscuits and gravy was not hot. We took home a slice of the sour cream lemon pie which was very good. I would go back to get pie to go, otherwise not worth the long wait. read more

They need to figure out the hosting. Put on the wait and told we get 5-10 minutes after we get pinged to be back, no big deal, we sat around the corner in our car. After about 35 minutes we got pinged, get inside about 2 minutes had gone by, waiting for a wait staff member to notice us and we get pinged again that we got bumped off the waitlist. The last time we ate here was five years ago and it was exactly how we remembered it, delicious! The place was packed on a Sunday morning but, they still got us seated in about 15 mins. The food was served quickly, which was helpful since we had two hungry toddlers. The artwork on the walls helps bring the charm to this place, and it's for sale if anyone's interested. What a great spot. I had the cob salad and a biscuit and gravy, because why not. The salad was exactly what I needed after a long morning hike. Very fresh, tasty, and good portion. While we know the food is excellent the host needs A lesson on how to hold a reservation. We tried to have breakfast on New Year's Eve and gave the host our name and number to be texted once a table became available. The wait was going to be about an hour. Que the Seinfeld episode .....after waiting the hour we noticed folks being seated without a reservation. When inquiring how much longer we were told 15 minutes. The young man then proceeded to seat people that had just arrived. We finally left. It appears he had not learned how to "hold" the reservation. Yelp is my bff when I look for spots when Im out of town. Loula's Cafe was the lucky one that popped on my screen. Came on a Friday and it was pretty busy. Waited for about 10 minutes and got seated. Bf had steak and eggs which he loved and I ordered Eggs Benedicts and it was to die for! Montana visit isn't complete if you don't order Huckleberry. We ordered Huckleberry Peach Pie and man, wish I got an entire pie! The Huckleberry Lemonade was amazing as well! Service was not over the top but it'll do. She just came to the the table and asked if we were ready to order, no "Hi" basically. Oh well. She got better towards the end so I'm ok with that. read more

This is a Whitefish gem! We visited Loula's thrice in 7 days for brunch! Everything on their menu is so good!. I tried the eggs benedict, the big horn, sausage and gravy and the lemon stuffed French toast. Everything was super fresh. The eggs benedict hollandaise was yummy with a lemony finish. The lemon stuffed French toast is the bomb! And a must try! They have half portions of it which I appreciated! The staff is super courteous and friendly! read more

Awesome little cafe in downtown white fish! Came here on a Saturday morning for breakfast with my mom and grandma and we all loved it. The breakfast food was killer and the service was great too. They had a lot of the classics (eggs, pancakes, etc.) and everything tasted perfect. My favorite part of this place is the totally local flair. It's located in the basement of a historic building in downtown whitefish. It was a little bit dark and kind of felt like eating in a basement but it was worth it for the fun, authentic feel. The art all around the restaurant was all local too. If you park on the side and come in through the entrance at the bottom of the hill it's very accessible (top tip for others visiting with their grandma's). It seems like the specialty here are the pies and baked goods. Didn't get to try any on this trip, but they looked (and smelled) delicious. Definitely will be coming back to try! read more
