Let me start with the good -- the ambiance of this place is actually pretty cool. Live music, a laid-back vibe, and good beer? Nothing wrong with that. It's the kind of atmosphere you'd want to hang out in. Now for the rest... Customer service and food? A total disaster. Let me say this the onion rings were amazing. Honestly, I'd come back just for those and a cold beer but because of the rest of the experience I would NEVER come back to this place. I felt like I got robbed. Customer service was abysmal. Every staff interaction felt like we were bothering them just by showing up. Rude, dismissive, and absolutely uninterested in providing a good experience. If the entire staff were swapped out tomorrow, I doubt anyone would notice or care. The food? Horrendous. * Burger: $7 for a sad, cold bun with wilted lettuce and a "portobello mushroom" the size of a pea? Criminal. * Nachos: $8 for soggy chips with a tiny sprinkle of cheese and a teaspoon of guacamole. * Add-ons: $3.50 extra for "seasoned ground tenderloin," which turned out to be one burger patty cut into four tiny chunks. Ridiculous. Overall: A complete letdown. Tim Love should be ashamed to put his name on this place. The quality doesn't just miss the mark -- it feels like no one's even aiming. Total waste of money, and honestly, a joke of a restaurant experience. The chef either needs to be fired, go back to training and send them to in n out or even if they close down the whole thing we wouldn't miss this restaurant in stockyards!

This place has changed and they are all about the money asked prices and then ordered and they open what you order when it comes to alcohol and then let you know you just bought a 10 dollar seltzer not the six dollar they tell you afteryou asked all the prices then say oh well we consider that a special drink not a beer so if you want the most expensive white claw stop by if not go straight across the street to FINCHERS WHIT FRONT go to back and get a 3 dollar beer

Yes, we dined at Love Shack. Did I eat? I had beer after leaving the neighboring White Elephant Saloon! Yes, as denoted by my level of intoxication there will be lots of exclamation points! All owned by celebrity chef Tim Love. In my opinion he get most experiences right. Especially in Ft. Worth! My posse ordered food here as opposed to his sister restaurant at the Springhill Suites Atico. ALOT cheaper than the hotel choice. Realistically, the approval rating food wise was mixed. Memories were gained however and one of my best posted slow motion GF and buddy will be forever in the Yelp archive. Apparently, after this adventure a buddy's wife gave me the head pat she was done with alcohol so we could head to our hotel and I tried to pay for a LYFT driver to do donuts around a fountain. Seems IMHO it was worth that sum!

Great place for a burger and a brew. Old school prices and vibes. The service is on par with any other restaurant of this caliber. Keep up the good work Love Shack, making Texas proud!

While the food is an average array of Americana fare (#1), I would argue the actual venue itself is anything but average. During the weekday afternoons, Love Shack is a sleepy lunch spot for folks craving the burger + fries life, but at night at on the weekends, it's a place to indulge, drink and gather. All while enjoying the patio life and catching live music. All this in the in the middle of the Fort Worth Stockyards? Oh yes. From the outside it might not look like much, but the place goes deep with the outdoor seating and a pseudo stage / amphitheater. There are numerous views to the stage, including a second floor walkup that's is perfect for groups. I could see this place being fun but I'd have to knock off a star for the shoddy customer service. Being patient and prepared will go a long way. The menu is divided into three main groups of burgers, yard birds (#2), and (hot) dogs. My group and I managed to order a good number of items, which included various burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, fries, and chips. All of it was nice and greasy, but not overly memorable. To maximize the experience, I recommend doubling up the patty for all burgers and go for chips over fries. Throw in a alcoholic beverage and some stellar company, and it may not matter what the live music act is. Don't take the place too seriously and a good time is likely to be had. ____________ (#1) Burgers, hot dogs, fries, and drinks. (#2) i.e. chicken.

We got the love burger and a coney dog. It was actually really reallly good. The fries were super fresh and just cut. The burger was tasty and so was the sauce. We loved the whole vibe of the place.

We went in the middle of the day and ate outside - such a cute place. The burger I had was very reasonably priced and SO GOOD!

They have Good inexpensive hamburgers & fries. Cool vibe but can get hot downstairs since there is no breeze that can come through. The female cashier and the other lady were not real friendly people. There was a trash smell in the main down seating area. This overlooks the stockyards sign and the stockyard hotel so nice view upstairs.

Order right at the bar! Get a number on the ticket and grab your food & the sauces you need!! all self service, great location for people watching outside Forth worth. The ONLY location with such a cool patio upstairs outside location. Live band too. Burger was delicious. Taste like a JR sonic burger, however it was a Love Shack Burger!

We were in the stockyards for a movie last night. Didn't expect it to be busy but sure was for 7pm on a Sunday night. A little disappointed that they had run out of all their draft beers. Seemed to be the theme that night. They also didn't have any catsup for the fries. So I ordered the Yard Bird chicken sandwich. It comes with cheese and bacon. My son ordered a cheeseburger and we split an order of fries. The beer was definitely cold. That was a plus. A little surprised that there were only 5 tables sat and still took over 20 minutes for two sandwiches. Even a little more disappointed that when I got the chicken sandwich it wasn't very hot. To a point that the cheese slice never melted either. It was ok but not the great taste I was expecting being a Chef Tim Love owned restaurant. The fries were really good! Overall ok but not what I was expecting.

First time here on the first weekend on 2024! I truly had a good time with friends. Space is good. Love the live performance of Mike Barretto and Sarah. Nice outdoor space, chill vibes. Good service. Food- burger was amazing; onion rings with good breading. Fries- not recommend it at all especially if you like your fries crispy (this is not for you). Overall good spot to hangout especially if weather is good. Would definitely be back.

Not the burger I remember. The servers seemed upset or overworked. Not the setting for a good tourist experience.

All of the food was delicious. Drinks were great. The food was not cheap but the price was very fair for what we got. The drinks were reasonably priced. We stayed for about 4 hours. My kids played Starwars pin ball, they played on a really cool play ground, jumped on their jumping station, and played on their pedal controlled race car track. It was hot, so we let the kids play for a bit, then moved to eat inside until the sun went down a little more then we went outside. They had fans and misters for the heat. The lighting and atmosphere were awesome, especially as it got darker. The bathrooms were decent. All staff I interacted with were super helpful and friendly, We will be back! My kids were worn out, we had really yummy food. Really amazing experience.

As if Chuck E Cheese got into the beer brewing industry. Had to use my phone to first sign a waiver, which is odd and felt like a ploy to be able to get your information probably for marketing. Also had to use your phone in order to order food even though I was standing at the counter speaking to an employee. Tried the mini corn dogs and fries. Both tasted frozen which was a letdown since breweries usually have great food. The beer is definitely the star of the place though as it should be. Will continue to buy it in the stores but wouldn't return to the brewery.
