Easy parking + warm ambience + friendly service + lovely vegan food! The lady who took my order was very sweet and she continuously checked up on the other customers as well. I got the royal noodle soup ($13.50), fabulous mongolian ($14), and thai tea ($5.50). The food was super delicious and very hearty. Highly recommend.

Heads up to anyone who loved the old Loving Hut in Orange--it's under new ownership (same team as Sun Vegan in Fountain Valley), and things have definitely changed. We used to come just for the jackfruit salad and spicy cha cha. The flavors were so refreshing and satisfying--nothing else quite hit the same. Since the new owners took over, the menu's been totally revamped. It's still all vegan, but the unique character and charm of the original menu are gone. They also push the Supreme Master message a lot more now, and it can feel a bit much while you're trying to eat. So yeah, the food's still healthy and plant-based, but if you're hoping for the old Loving Hut experience, just know it's a different vibe now.

Amazing service and the food was so good I'm definitely coming back and recommending to everyone! The lady who took my order was so incredibly kind and gave great suggestions on what to try. Greens on the salad were fresh and protein was very flavorful.

New owners so far delicious. Honestly I was reluctant but the flavor is messed up good. Come back if you have not and try its very worth it.

I am a huge Loving Hut fan. But this recent visit left me scratching my head in confusion... I ordered some chow mein with vegan beef. The chow mein arrived hard and dry. It was weird. I was so confused. Do I need to cook this on the stove? How do I eat this lol I've never ordered chow mein and had it arrive hard and dry like that. My fiancé suggested putting it in a big bowl and mixing it with the sauce. The sauce was pretty soupy so we figured it would soften then noodles? Maybe? I don't know. Did that and it was still crispy chow mein. I left the chow mein sit in that bowl for 30 minutes so that it would soften the chow mein noodles. Finally, they were edible. But the meal was super salty. Major fail. The chow mein not being prepared already was a huge hassle. And the sauce was way too salty. Just a huge bummer.

Wow! I just visited under new management and the food is incredibly tasty. More delicious than I remember. The owner (I presumed) is so sweet and passionate about the food and overall veganism. The restaraunt is a take-out spot for now but you still have the option to dine in. Menu seems to still be building, but the vegan burger and chow mein are worth trying for now! The burger has no after taste and is made with a soft bun and served with a super green side salad. It didn't even need ketchup! I got so excited to dig in I forgot to take a picture before almost being half way done. Chow mein had amazing tofu and tofu beef, with perfectly steamed veggies and taste, not too salty or old. Everything was so fresh! I'm excited to see how this location under new management grows, next time I'll be trying the orange chicken.

CLOSED!! We used to frequent this place regularly before the pandemic. During the pandemic we ordered via food delivery services a few times and it was ok, but became increasingly lackluster. Chalked that up to food not being served right away. We came a few more times after the Pandemic lifted and it just wasn't as tasty as it used to be and also started feeling like like they let things go. Our most recent trip here was probably 8 months ago and you could tell their business has declined. Fast forward to yesterday they appear to have changed management and/or folded. Based on recent reviews, it seems they changed the menu and went cash only. I'm really disappointed they didn't update their business listing and we drove out of our way to dine here. Someone said the new owners are with Sun Vegan, but this place doesn't appear to be coming back.

Suprisingly delish Viet/Thai/Chinese influenced dishes. Mixed veggies stir fry was good. Pad thai was less sweet than Thai places, which was good. Spring rolls and sauce were great. Cute and clean restaurant with good service!

Loving Hut is offering free Pho on February 22nd and October 25th 2026 in honor of Supreme Master Ching Hai Day.

Hi what are the ingredients for the pandan cake? I have a milk allergy; thank you!

Thanks for checking Phan N. Since our restaurant is vegan, we don't use milk but use soy milk instead.

I ordered their Topa Topa Burger, Okonami fries and a Dr Pepper to drink. We sat outside on the patio since it was a nice evening at the time. All our food came out pretty quickly and around the same time as we had ordered one after the other. My burger was delicious! All their burgers here are made from wagyu meat. Mine came with sliced avocado (pretty much half of an avocado) which was ripe, smooth and creamy. It also came with crunchy onion strings and their special Topa Topa sauce and of course some kewpie mayo and shredded cabbage. The cabbage was super crunchy and fresh. The buns were super soft and toasted perfectly. The fries were alright. The Okonamiyaki style was unique and the toppings were tasty. My Dr Pepper was a little too sweet, maybe it was more syrup than carbonated water. Overall the burgers here were great! I also got an order for my boyfriend later that night. Ordering to go was super easy. My boyfriend devoured his Spicy Miso burger. Service here was great as well. Would come back for the burgers!

We were lucky and found a parking space on Bush St. We both ordered the Classic Hammer Burger ($10) and a regular order of shoestring fries. I was surprised at how busy they were. The burgers come out fresh and hot. They are smashed thin and have a crispy edge. The slice of cheese is perfectly melted. There are grilled onions at the bottom of the burger and the top is dressed with thick cut pickles and a decorative drizzle of Hammer Sauce. One of the things I like most about this burger is the overall texture and the proportions of beef to the steamed potato bun. It's soft and melty and delicious. The fries are great too (thin and crispy) and they have a nice selection of house sauces. Their signature Hammer Sauce, White BBQ sauce, Garlic Sauce, Chipotle Mayo, Jalapeño Ranch and Ranch. I went around the world and tried every one. Customizing your sauce by mixing a few together is not a bad idea and likely a veteran move. I have had their sweet potato fries before and they are above average. I have also had their chili cheese fries and a cup of chili...not bad. Their Flatty Melt ($11) was the first burger I tried when going the first time. Unique and tasty. I've also had Spicy Smash ($11) that has a pile of grilled jalapeño's on top. It's hot so be prepared. They have a nice selection of beers but I haven't gone down that road yet. Lunch was so good, I bought my son-in-law a $75 gift certificate. The downtown area has really be revitalized and now it's fun to walk around.

The staff were friendly and attentive. We arrived right before the dinner rush. The place had TVs on and music playing. It seemed like a fun place to eat and hang out. One of the staff mentioned how they were packed last weekend with all the FIFA games. We ordered take out - a classic Hammer Burger, a half order of chili cheese fries, and a small order of onion rings. Sauce station was near the soda, you could get whichever ones you liked. Despite our 15 minute drive home, the food was still warm and really delicious. The burger had good flavor with and without their house sauce. The chili cheese fries were skinny fries with a cheese sauce and bean-less chili. The chili was filling and had a little kick to it. The batter-fried onion rings were (still) crispy and yummy with both ranch and the house sauce. We will definitely be back to fill our smashburger and chili cheese fries cravings! PS- The bathrooms were clean.
