Nice interior! Staff was amazing and the chef was very kind! 10/10 recommend the steak was amazing and the Mac and cheese was so savory. I'll definitely be back.

Friendly and attentive staff, fast service, delicious food, good steak options, nice drinks, and clean and quaint establishment. Only con is parking across street in paid parking lot (no validation) but this is now the norm downtown so no problem. Table seating and also bar and high top bar seating. Sides are shareable and not many (about 6) but they are good. You must try the pan cornbread with the honey butter drizzle with the crispy bottom pan texture and fluffy middle. Steaks and priced comparable with other steak restaurants in their class.

We chose this restaurant for our first date and it was perfect. Even on a Saturday in December, it wasn't too crowded. It was reasonably quiet and felt intimate for proper conversation. The service was excellent, and the manager stopped by our table at the end of the night just to thank us for coming in. The food here was the star of the show. There were two specials on the menu and I was leaning toward one of the specials, but I asked my server for her recommendation and she suggested the other. She was very familiar with both dishes and talked them through with me until I decided to go with her recommendation and I was not disappointed. I really appreciated that extra help to make sure I pick something I was going to be satisfied with.

What an amazing Sunday dinner at LowCountry Steak! First off, they have a special Sunday Service Menu just for Sunday diners, which is a delightful treat. The atmosphere is all about fine dining, with dim lighting and elegant china settings, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. Be sure to check the dress code beforehand because they definitely have one! Our server, Zak B., was beyond phenomenal! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and had tasted many of the items himself, offering honest opinions and stellar recommendations. Not only was he on point with the food choices, but his expertise on the wine list was also impeccable. He made excellent pairing suggestions, answered all our questions, and was also just great to chat with. A fantastic conversationalist! Now, let's talk food. LowCountry Steak is definitely a splurge spot, perfect for a celebration or when you just want to treat yourself. The menu is A La Carte, and the portions are sharable, which is what I'd recommend. Everyone picks a dish, and you share to get a taste of everything! We trusted Zak's recommendations for wine, appetizers, entrees, and dessert - and let me tell you, every single thing was a hit! For starters, we got the Loaded Potato Soup (such a beautifully plated dish), Devil Eggs (because who doesn't love a good Devil Egg?), and the Fried Lobster Bites - OMG, they were juicy and full of flavor! The Jalapeño Cornbread with honey butter? To die for. Zak recommended the Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc, and it was the perfect pairing for our meal. Onto the entrees: I had the Bone-In Ribeye, cooked medium, topped with Lump Crab and Herbed Butter - seriously, heaven on a plate. Mommy had the Fried Chicken with Mac n Cheese, which was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, paired with house-made Hot Honey sauce. And let me not forget the house fries - seasoned to perfection! My son, who is a fry connoisseur, gave them two thumbs up, which says a lot! And for dessert... we indulged in the Doughnut Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream. Let me just say, words don't do it justice - it's pure sin in dessert form, and I loved every bite. If you're thinking about visiting, go for it! And ask for Zak - he will make your dining experience one to remember!

Hands down one of the most effortless business dinners ever--LowCountry Steak nailed the vibe with just enough buzz to feel alive, but chill enough to actually talk. The energy was warm and welcoming, even with a lively crowd, and the atmosphere felt like a hug. Zach was the MVP. Smooth, behind-the-scenes service that felt anticipatory. Smart suggestions, perfect timing--he elevated everything. The sides were spot-on: the Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Bacon had that addictive crunch and savory bacon pop, while the Sautéed Creamed Corn hit that sweet‑but‑rich Southern note just right. And for dessert? The Brookie--a fudgy brownie crowned with a brown‑butter cookie, vanilla gelato, and raspberry ganache--was next‑level indulgence and, no lie, rocked the table. Treat yourself--whether it's business, pleasure, or something in between, you won't regret it. And definitely ask for Zach.

Decided to treat my Husband to LowCountry Steak to celebrate a career milestone. I became familiar with Chef Garvin on Food Network so was happy to have the opportunity to try and support his restaurant here in Atlanta. Upon arriving to the Midtown location there is a parking deck that is easy to access and the restaurant validates parking which is always a plus. LowCountry Steak has a business casual dress code and a no phone call policy in the dining & bar areas due to it's intimate location and ambiance. As we were seated our server was very attentive in explaining to us the menu and menu specials. My husband ordered tried the Rare Manhattan and The Nearest cocktails, we loved that they featured Uncle Nearest in their bar, and I had the 10th & Spring which was very refreshing. Like most steakhouses, the sides are served family style and the portions did NOT disappoint. We almost made the mistake of ordering each side twice for the two of us but the server guided us on the portions being large enough to share. We ordered the whipped garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, sautéed mushrooms and lobster mac and cheese. For our entree's my Husband had the bone in ribeye with crab and cajun garlic butter to top it with & I had the trout topped with crab. The bone in ribeye was cooked to perfection and paired so well with the cajun garlic butter. We loved everything but were a bit disappointed in the lobster mac & cheese as that is one of the dishes the restaurant is known for and it was just okay. We will surely return to LowCountry Steak in the future.

Came here after church for an early dinner because this place was suggested to me. I was told the chef was a celebrity chef on tv. Had very high expectations. The restaurant was very nice, clean and aesthetically pleasing. I learned the menu had changed since the person had recommended it to me. I guess they change it a lot the waitress said. A bit after we was seated there was yelling coming from the kitchen. Only to find out it was Chef Garven yelling at what looked to be kitchen staff. This was a bit uncomfortable to have to hear and we almost didn't stay. Chef Garven went around the restaurant stopped at the tables and took pictures with everyone. He came to our table as well after we was done with our meal. The interaction was a bit awkward. Im thinking because we didn't rave about the food or fan out, but it was nice that he stopped by at least. I didn't think we would because he passed by our table several times and didn't speak. He did ask for an honest review so here we are! I don't think the food reflect the quality or quantity of food! Also the flowers on the table as decoration was clearly withering away/ dead and needed to be replaced. Mashed potatoes: 6.5/10 Portion was very small, but hot and seasoned well Calamari : 8/10 Hot, fresh and good portion size. aloi was on point. Special of the day: Seafood pasta 4/10 Small salad shrimp, watery sauce and again not hot. Luke warm at best. Very small portion for the price Bone in Ribeye: 7/10 And only rating that bc of the temperature. If it was hot it could have been a 9. The flavor was on point. It was supposed to have a herb butter on top. Brown butter cake with vanilla gelato 10/10 Just the right about sweetness, moisture, density Warm Glazed Donut 2/10 Literally just go to Krispy Kreme Service 5/10 Wasn't good wasn't bad, but also not memorable at all. Parking is paid in a garage and they don't validate anymore

Low Country Steak may have become one of my favorite steak houses in Atlanta. Our service was top notch and the steak may have been the best steak that I have tried in all of Atlanta. It was perfectly seasoned, served piping hot on a heated plate and was cooked to perfection. When you have a perfect steak, there is no need to add sauces, butters or anything to it. You cut it and enjoy! That is something I could do again and again at Low Country Steak. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, friendly and presented the menu as if she was a fan of all all items on the menu. We went with most of her recommendations and we were extremely impressed with all offerings. We ordered the calamari and the cornbread as our appetizers, and we shared the lobster Mac and cheese along with other crispy Brussels sprouts with bacon. All dishes were more than adequate for sharing. The calamari was tender, flash fried and had a spicy aioli dipping sauce which was also not needed but yummy nonetheless. Cornbread served in a small cast iron skillet made me second guest grandmas cornbread, but don't tell anyone. I have nothing but respect and love for the food and the service I received while visiting for my birthday dinner. I would recommend this restaurant for special occasions, dinner and corporate events. Low Country Steak is everything and more!!! I forgot to add there is complimentary parking in the attached parking garage. They will validate for two hours.

Our group stopped in to LowCountry Steak before heading to a Hawks game, just for a few apps and drinks to tide us over until we could eat later that night. It was perfect for our needs, with the "Bar Bites" menu. Definitely recommend for a full meal, drinks and apps, or a date night! The service was fabulous and ambiance was very high class with red leather booths by the open kitchen, a separate side with several tables for regular seating, and long tables near the bar which is where we sat. Speaking of the bar, the actual bar structure itself was gorgeous, with rows and rows of liquor bottles and mirrored backed shelves almost giving it an architectural flair. The drinks were great and plentiful, but the star of the show was the food. We had a few shareable appetizers and they were ALL amazing, but I will detail them in order of which I preferred best: -Brussels Sprouts: These were crispy and tangy (from the balsamic topping) with bits of bacon thrown in for a little toothsome bite of meat. The outer leaves of the sprouts were charred, giving it the "crispy" in its name. So delicious! -Deviled Eggs: SO good. I love deviled eggs to begin with, but these were a notch above many I've tried at restaurants. Not too small, not too gigantic, and not overly dressed with nonsensical toppings (there is a time and place for that kind of thing but not on my deviled eggs!) The eggs had a small bit of applewood bacon on top with little streaks of sauce around them for a little extra flavor too. Yum! -Wedge Salad: This came as a little solid wedge of salad with bacon and tomatoes around it, with the dressing on top. You deconstructed it yourself to make your little side salad, and it was so tasty. The dressing on top was blue cheese, but not the stinky blue cheese you are used to (which I hate), but a creamy, flavorful, and less pungent version of the classic blue cheese. If that was how all blue cheeses were, I would be a convert, but I will have to just get it at LowCountry for the time being. -Fried Calamari: I am not usually a calamari fan, but these were fried really well and had chili flakes on them and herb butter, with a garlic aioli for dipping. The calamari was still calamari, which I don't love the texture of no matter how you dress it up, but these preparations made it so much more enjoyable for a weird texture averse person like me, and I even had a few pieces! We had a few other appetizers like the romaine salad and the fries - those were pretty standard and done well, but nothing as out of this world as the other appetizers we had. If you're in the area and looking for some simple but super well done items, definitely give LowCountry Steak a try (especially if you're a blue cheese or calamari hater - you may be converted!)

If you're in the market for some tasty food in a well appointed environment-this may be your place. Make sure your wallet is ready for a decent impact. The night we visited the restaurant was short staffed. We still received prompt and decent service. One cool treat-Chef G. Garvin was there. He came out and greeted a few guests in between presiding over the preparation of our dishes. Enjoyed!

We were there celebrating our engagement, and they made it feel so special by decorating our table with rings and confetti to celebrate our love. Our server gave us so much attention and made the experience feel personal. Since it was our first time there, they took the time to walk us through some of the best items on and off the menu, and shared their favorite dishes. Everything was done with care. The restaurant was clean, the bathroom was amazing, and the food was worth every dollar. The short rib was so tender, and the New York strip was seasoned to perfection and cooked medium well just how we like it. The twice-baked potato loaded with bacon, sour cream, chives, and cheese was delicious, and the mac and cheese was so good. I also appreciated that they allowed me to order it without the roasted saltine crackers. I can't wait to visit again!

Bones has old money vibes - for example, the receptionist referred to us as Mr. and Ms. which I felt like was very polite and again, traditional. We were celebrating my birthday, and they pre-decorated our table a little bit! We got special print-out menus that said "Happy Birthday" and the table had a little bit of confetti on it! It was a nice gesture to be welcomed with. Our server, Michael, was great at being attentive (without being overly attentive), and providing recs/answering our questions. We went with the Crab and Lobster Napoleon for our app, the Ribeye to split, and a side of their famous Hash Browns. Everything was very good!! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but all the food comes out hot, fresh, and with good flavor. I really do recommend getting the Hash Browns - it sounds a little silly to order such a dish at a steakhouse, but try it for yourself :) All dishes have a good portion size so keep that in mind when ordering! While not pictured, I do have to give a shoutout to the complimentary bread service - their bread is real good. Hot and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. Try not to get full off the bread alone. For dessert, Bones surprised us with literally the tallest and thickest slice of ice cream cake I've ever seen! My jaw dropped. I love ice cream cake and it was awesome to be treated to some!! I already thought that the table decorations and the special menu were enough to recognize my birthday, but this is the generosity of Bones. I will absolutely be returning some day! If not for the amazing food, then for the equally amazing hospitality! Thank you Bones for a wonderful birthday! Note: Complimentary valet parking ONLY. We asked the valet person if we could just park the car but we weren't allowed to. Bring some cash for a tip.

Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

Right when we walked in, the staff complained to us that we hadn't called ahead to have a "smaller, special menu" crafted for a large party. To make matters worse, they loudly announced to the whole table right off rip that they wouldn't split checks separately--only an even split. It felt incredibly rude, lazy, and unwelcoming. The irony is that the large group size wasn't even an issue; we staggered our arrivals and the patio was completely empty. The kicker- my brother in law ended up paying the whole tab at the end anyways! so all of that initial laziness & nastiness for NOTHING! Throughout the night, the service felt incredibly rushed and stressed. While we were still eating our appetizers, the busser was aggressively trying to clear our plates because the mains were coming. Our server was very short with us the entire time, which was confusing because the restaurant didn't even have a stressful vibe. She recommended a main dish to me that I really didn't care for, though I will say the salsa was unique and probably the best part of the meal. Shoutout to the one staff member who was actually friendly, but overall, this is not the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a nice restaurant experience- at least I personally didn't.. Too bad we didn't just go to C&S next door which we always love. Regardless tho, my sister had a blast, but that's entirely because she has a wonderful crew of great friends, not because of Casi Cielo.

It did not disappoint - in fact, it exceeded my expectations. First of all, Ken was an excellent server. He was paced, attentive, informative, and communicative throughout our experience. We were also celebrating our anniversary, and he and the staff made sure to make the occasion memorable (won't give away to keep it special for you). The food was amazing from beginning to end. First, the bread service was prompt, warm, soft, and served with ricotta. Next, the Ceasar salad was made next to where we sat - and to see them mixing the salads so meticulously down to mixing the dressing from scratch was one of the most amazing dining experiences I've had. I love a good Ceasar - and this was amongst the best. We also ordered the Oysters Marcel - and they were so fresh and bright. For our main course, my wife ordered the bone-in filet. It was cooked to perfection (medium rare - medium). I enjoyed redfish topped with Jump Lump Crab Oscar sauce (with crabs). Both proteins were amazing, but I was surprised by how perfectly cooked the fish was. Delectable. For sides, we enjoyed Cream Corn Gratin and Pommes Frites Béarnaise . Both were complementary of the proteins. The dessert was a 10-Layer Chocolate Cake. It was sooo good. Sweet but not too sweet. Good as it looks. Lastly, the ambiance was amazing. It was like stepping into a portal into a different space in time - almost made you forget we were in Atlanta. It's a bit dark inside - but a well lit darkness - just like I like it. Easy to see the entire space but also feel unseen (even though you are). Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone - although we made a pact to not take anyone from our circle. We want to keep this one for us. But hopefully this write up encourages a stranger to enjoy Marcel. Merci

That world could be anywhere. It could even be in Midtown West Atlanta. Service was impeccable. Servers knew we were celebrating our anniversary and were attentive and helpful when making tough menu choices. Pacing was definitely geared toward fine dining. 40 minutes between starters and entree was a BIT long, but it went by. Steak was wonderful (a porterhouse for 2), cooked to a perfect medium rare with seasoning appropriately calibrated to not overpower. East and west coast oysters were fresh and the Marcel salad to start was underdressed and lacked flavor (I enjoyed how they plopped a mound of bleu cheese on top to mix in; I pushed this aside which my server and I laughed about. He said he'd do the same. Maybe it's a sign). Hot bread service with a spreadable cheese and prosciutto was a nice touch. The French fries are probably the best I've ever had, and the asparagus was asparagus (slightly undersalted if anything). Chocolate cake was impressive in presentation but unremarkable for flavor and consistency. My wife enjoyed her decaf coffee as the best she's had at a restaurant, but her cocktail left something to be desired and was extremely tart. A Mexican coke was perfect enough for me. The pricing here is exorbitant. The price tag isn't necessarily a problem given the caliber of dining experience and ambiance that Marcel provides, but given some of the misses on staple items (namesake salad, "famous" chocolate cake), I'm not sure that value for dollar spent is present. In transparency, our dinner comprised of the above was over $400 with tip, which was aligned with expectations walking in the door. Whether the food stood up to the actual place and pricing is a debate. I lean toward an answer of "almost, but close enough not to be insulted." If a gun was pointed at my head to pick the "best steakhouse" in Atlanta, I'd pick Bones without thinking twice. This place is a close second probably, but places like Nowaks in Sandy Springs, while not the same echelon of formality, might have Marcel beat on flavor and definitely have Marcel beat on value for the dollar. Is Marcel's concept valid and well executed? Yes, without question. Would I want somebody else to pay if I returned? Yes, without question. 4.3/5 stars

I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.

Excellent servers are watchful without being disruptive. I like to enjoy my meal without being pestered every few minutes. I ordered the Bone-in Ribeye (my go-to for any steakhouse) and was *NOT* disappointed Perfect temperature. Flawless execution. I could tell they allowed equal time to cook and rest before delivering it to me. Prices are reasonable for the culinary experience and the quality meal you receive. Thank me later. Go and enjoy a special night out tonight!
