First of all, Pike Place is a chaotic area, so it was nice to step away into a quaint and cozy restaurant! We had a great server who was super helpful as we decided what to get. I started with some clam chowder which was pretty standard, but warm and delicious! The seafood grill platter was delicious! The vegetables are not seasoned at all, so some salt and pepper will help that! The rice was flavorful along with the shrimp. The crab cake was unique with a yummy sauce on it! The real star of the show was the salmon. It melted in your mouth and had a lovely sauce on it. This definitely isn't the classiest place in the market, but they have some good food! read more

They got a variety of breakfast plates here that you can have I got the farmers breakfast which for 21 dollars you get hash, toast, coffee, eggs and sausage, bacon and a slice of ham. The service here is quick! You get coffee whenever you please since it's self service but for value try them out very cozy and Greta views from the restaurant the ambiance is amazing! read more

Was here on a Sunday around 2 pm and walked right in! I was honestly pretty surprised by that. Got a table facing the market side and the server greeted us quickly. While the service was great, the food was OK. We got the tuna melt and the bread bowl clam chowder. The clam chowder itself was delicious and if I came back I would order a bowl, however the bread didn't taste fresh like other bread bowls ive had. The tuna melt sandwhich was pretty good and the fries were ok. The price for the bread bowl and soup was $12.95, which seemed standard all around the market. View is better than the view. We had 7 in our group, and we ordered various items. No one enjoyed their food. The fish and chips were especially disappointing. The prices are on the higher side, which is to be expected given the location; however the selection is similar to most other diners (with the exception of the seafood). Their roast beef hash was pretty standard. Nice runny yolk on top a bed of roast beef and potatoes. Perhaps the one stand out was their hash browns which were fluffy in the middle and crisp on the outside. If you're in the area and want to have a nice breakfast overlooking the water, this is a decent spot; but I feel there are better stops in the nearby area for a cheaper price tag. read more

Kind of hot to hold, need a handle. Food was mediocre. Ordered two places of French toast combo and a marketplace combo with sausages. The sausages were very big and there were three, casing was a little tough. Hash browns were stated crispy hash browns but it wasn't crispy. We came here looking to put our hunger pains to rest. We left our house at 4am to catch a 6 hour flight to Seattle and only had some snacks on the plane. So we stumbled in ready to chow down on some seafood. Our waitress Maria was outstanding. We ordered some appetizers and as we were getting ready to start on the apps the feasting horn sounded and our entrees came out. So you can imagine that our table looked like a buffet setup. No problem as we were at that point ready to eat the plates. Everything was fresh and delicious. They have three levels, we ate at the second level that has full service. As in any restaurant or cafe, masks are a must everywhere and you need to show proof of vaccination as you will not be allowed to enter. read more

Normally when you dine in the middle of a tourist destination you don't expect much. But today's breakfast was an exception. We had a large group and arrived as the doors opened to insure we could sit together and we where first to order for the day. The entire staff was friendly and helpful as we placed our order. I thurely enjoyed the Dungeness Carb Benedict and my wife enjoyed her Smoked Salmon scramble. She also got her fill of bottomless cups of coffee. As great as the food is the views were also outstanding. So long story short Lowell's is worth the stop. But be warned the menu is a bit pricey so bring your card and enjoy. read more

First visit to Seattle and the market. Made the mistake of hitting the first spot we saw. V overpriced, unimaginative.

I hate to say it, but yet another ocean view restaurant with fabulous views and less than fabulous food. The fish and chips were pretty good (photo attached). This was lunch on Tuesday 1/18/22 on the third floor. I went back two days later for breakfast and the the Classic Breakfast for $9.00. Something was off about the eggs - possibly used old eggs or even powdered? I can't say because I've never tasted that before. My friend got the same on his order as well. The "crispy hashbrowns" were barely a light gold color and mostly still white, and certainly raw on the inside. You pay first before being served so it felt like a done deal... Service downstairs if super friendly, points for that. Good place to sit down and have a beer and enjoy a great view. read more

We sat upstairs in the bar (after waiting for 20 minutes downstairs to order then realizing if you want to sit in the bar you can go right up and order up there). THE BEST Rueben sandwich I've ever eaten! They shave the meat so thin, made fresh in house and it's so flavorful! They pile in on perfectly toasted rye with just the right amount of sauce, sauerkraut and melty cheese. Very saucy. Yum! The chowder is also amazing and perfectly served in a sourdough bread bowl.
