I visited Lowell's with a coworker for a late lunch and I'm SO glad we did. You order at the front and choose one of the three levels to sit at, the third with a beautiful water view. The gentleman taking our order was so kind! Coworker got the fish and chips and I, the salmon Cesar. Both were a huge portions and very tasty but the salmon was the star of the show. Locally caught and sold in pike place market, it was some of the freshest salmon I've ever eaten. Truly melt in your mouth, and the price for each meal wasn't exorbitant. I'll definitely be visiting again next time I'm in Seattle

Lowell's is a must stop for incredible clam or salmon chowder in a bread bowl. It's a casual vibe inside Pike's Place where you order at a cash register and then your order is brought to your seat wherever you find one. The bread bowl was soft and fluffy which was the perfect addition to my salmon chowder. Great quality and lots of pieces of fish that was a perfect lunch on a chilly and rainy day. The clam chowder is also incredible and a staple of Seattle.

Lowell's is a must-stop if you're in the market! We had a beautiful table tucked into a corner overlooking the harbor and outstanding service from Tyler--friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. Breakfast was delicious. My husband had the classic combo with eggs, hash browns, link sausage, and toast--perfect comfort food. I ordered a huge bagel topped with herbed cream cheese, king salmon, pickled onions, and capers... absolutely fantastic. And bonus: unlimited hot coffee --always a win. It's tucked right inside the marketplace, and we actually found it thanks to a suggestion from our server at Alder & Ash the night before. So glad we listened! Would I come back? Heck yeah! Next time, I'm trying the crab omelette for sure

Best calamari I have ever had. Fresh and delicious. The concept of ordering and finding your own seat is hectic but it worked out for our party of 6.

Sat at the bar. For a birthday cocktail. A special chai martini. Served iced and so good. The wonderful bartender JoJo provided excellent service. And it's a bar, so the ambiance was fun. A gentleman sang happy birthday to my sister and me. And people were overall happy here. An iconic Pike Market place. Maybe next time I'll eat some food. SYOY!

Nothing like a bowl of CLAM chowder in the morning for breakfast along with corned beef hash, eggs, and hashbrowns. Service was awesome but the view on the 2nd floor was better than awesome!

Prime location - inside Pike Place Market! We needed a drink and a quick bite while we toured the area. We visited around 4pm on a Friday and the place was not packed. Definitely a change from a previous visit I had last in Sept 5 years ago. The VIEW gave this place the 4th star. Try to get the window seat as much as possible if you visit this place. Ordered the chowder - just mid. Nothing special and definitely had it better. Wish the bread bowl was toasted. Calamari - small portion - was good and so was the fries. This place is one of those Order, Pay then get your food type. Menu offers many choices. They have a bar on the second floor and the drinks were great. Be prepared to pay more for your cocktails :/ The bartender was nice and welcoming.

The place was Busy for a Thursday afternoon! Only place we could find seating was on the third floor. Pretty views but was a little cold for my liking. The table near us complained they were freezing also. That being said, the food was solid. I had a chicken sandwich with bacon and Swiss . It was huge and ate the entire thing! Hubby ate the fish tacos which were flavorful if a bit messy.

Chowder was good, nice and creamy but not as good as pike place chowder, got the crab omelette, paid 40 bucks for an underwhelming omelette, you would expect an omelette the size of the plate and stuffed to the gills for 40 bucks, not worth it at all, toast and hash browns and bacon were good, better off going somewhere else, you're just paying for the view honestly

Drinks Only- As we were meandering through Pike's market on a Sunday, we decided we wanted to pop in for a drink or two. The bartender mentioned mimosas and Bloody Mary's so my ears perked up. They had an unusual Bloody Mary with salmon, so as we were in Seattle, I felt that I should try this version. I was expecting a piece of salmon on my drink, but rather the salmon was within the mix- interesting.....not sure I would order this again. I think I would stick with a regular bloody mary. Pricing wise, not bad for being at the market. Netherless the bartender was very friendly. And very kind to address all the questions of the tourist stopping in. The view from the bar of the water was beautiful. The bar on the second floor is quite small. If eating, there are plenty of seats among the three floors. Note lots of stairs....to the second and third floor.

A Local's Favorite Spot for the Best Views & Fresh Seafood! Whenever friends or family visit from out of state, Pike Place Market is the first stop on the list. There's just something about the hustle and bustle that makes you feel the heartbeat of Seattle. As locals, we've been coming to Lowell's (established in 1957!) for years. It's a classic for a reason--the history is deep and the views are unbeatable. Pro-Tip: Choosing the Right Floor The menus and service styles actually differ by floor, so keep this in mind: * 1st & 3rd Floors (Self-Service): Best for a casual bite. This is where you grab the classics like Fish & Chips and Clam Chowder. You order at the counter on the 1st floor--if you do, head straight to the 3rd floor for the best view! * 2nd Floor (Full Service & Bar): I usually head here when I'm without the kids. The menu is different from the first floor, and you can skip the long lines and the hassle of carrying your own food. The Food: On this visit, we enjoyed a bottle of wine along with: * Seafood Salad: The salmon was incredibly fresh and the portion was very generous. * Clam Chowder Bread Bowl: It's a classic. Consistently delicious and hits the spot every single time. * Steamed Clams & Garlic Bread: The clams were so plump and fresh! But the garlic bread on top was the real star. It was perfectly toasted and so flavorful--ideal for soaking up all that delicious clam broth. Service: Our server was lovely and incredibly attentive! However, the busgirl was quite rude, which was a bit of a bummer. But despite that, the food and the scenery made it a great afternoon.

Clam Chowder: 6.5/10 mid. Unfortunately, the chowder of the day wasn't salmon which is my fav. Fish and Chips: 7.5/10. Fish was ok, fries were good, tartar sauce was great. Calamari: 8/10. Calamari was good, sauce was ok. I enjoyed the calamari with the tartar sauce from the fish and chips. Service & Ambiance: 10/10. We sat at the top level where The Crab Pot was. We were brought our food from both restaurants and the window view was amazing

Place has a great view, service was good. Staff were friendly, beer was cold. The food was nothing to brag about. Pretty much no taste I guess it would be like having COVID and eating here..

His genuine enthusiasm and attention to detail made our evening so memorable. And the food... absolutely amazing! The mussels were incredible, and the bread and butter were to die for. So when I woke up still craving shellfish, RockCreek was the call. It was the right one. A dozen oysters to start: Kumamoto and Shigoku. Clean -- no grit, no sand. Whatever they're doing back there, it's working. The brine was full and present in every shell, and the mignonette hit that rare sweet spot of light but actually seasoned. The Winter Old Fashioned? Get it. It was so delicious. Then came the crab Benedict. The side salad alone was worth writing home about -- big, buttery, peppery leaves draped in one of those feather-light vinaigrettes that sounds simple until you try to replicate it at home and realize you can't. But the real star of the entire plate was the potatoes. Crispy outside, genuinely fluffy inside, seasoned with conviction. A masterpiece is not too strong a word. Closed with a glass of pink wine. Was eyeing the bottle with the piglet on the label, but it was bottle-only -- a distinction I find increasingly arbitrary as a former server and bartender. One day that policy will be a relic. Not yet, apparently. Best brunch I've had in Seattle in two years. Highly recommend.

The room has that dimly lit, polished dinner feel without being so quiet that you feel like everyone can hear you negotiating your next bite. There was enough ambiance to feel special, but we could still talk casually without having to strain, which is underrated for a nice dinner. The Ling Cod was the clear hit of the table. Perfectly done and the dish everyone kept coming back to. The Notting Hill gin drink was also a standout and definitely worth ordering if you want something balanced and a little more interesting than the usual cocktail lineup. We finished with the key lime pie, which was a strong ending to an already excellent meal. Overall, fantastic food, great atmosphere, and a spot I'd happily recommend for a birthday dinner, date night, or a nicer night out.

It wasn't too hard to get a weekday reservation for 4 and it's located right on the waterfront of Pike's Place, but it was pretty easy to find street parking nearby. Overall, the food was a little inconsistent in quality across the board, but the vibes are excellent for a nicer night out. Oysters (4/5): Super fresh and they have a rotating set of local options. We went with the waiter's recommendation, which were super sweet and a bit salty. One of my friend's had never had oysters before and they were pleasantly surprised by the way it wasn't too fishy! Clam Chowder (4.25/5): Clam chowder was actually probably one of the best bites of the night. Super creamy and luxurious with a good amount of clams. Shrimp Cocktail (2.5/5): Unfortunately, the shrimp were overcooked and too chewy. A real shame because the shrimp are huge! Surf N Turf (2.75/5): Mixed feelings on this one. The scallops were really small, but delicious, fresh, and sweet. The beef cut was some sort of awful hangar steak that didn't feel fresh. A bit small for a main and roasted potatoes were just okay. Lobster Roll (4/5): The bread was warm and nicely toasted with butter. I wish there was a bit more lobster to improve the ratio, but the quality of the lobster was nice! Atlantic Beach Pie (4/5): Very very tart, but I loved it especially with the fresh whipped cream. The saltine crust brought a good amount of salt as well.
