I had to wait more than an hour for the pickup and if I had not complained I would probably still be there at the end of the year. Fact is, my order was not ready and the people were too lazy to move on. The 2nd manager is unfriendly and disrespectful. We bought a SS refrigerator from Lowe's- it arrived and the door has a big dent in the center They are supposed to deliver a new appliance or at least replace the door today The delivery window is 5pm to 9pm Quite a wide window!! Usually the window for delivery is 2-3 hrs My husband called at 7pm and at 8pm to check on the delivery It is now after 9pm and still no delivery The store closes at 9pm so there is no manager to speak with My husband just got off the phone with the delivery staff and they say it should be delivered by 11pm !!! Meanwhile, we are paying someone by the hour to take delivery of this appliance- so not only are we inconvenienced but now it is costing us money for a mistake made by Lowe's!!! Horrific customer service and gross incompetence prevails at Lowe's. An appliances order from Lowe's was placed in January. The appliances were finally delivered a week ago last Thursday. They still have not completed the installation, however. Despite many many phone calls and involving Corporate, here we are still without knowing when the installation will be completed. Virtually every call gets a response of "someone will call you." This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and the lack of professionalism and lack of organization and communication is simply flabbergasting. If you need new appliances, be forewarned. . . Lowe's may not be the company to best serve you. Based on the other negative reviews I have read, this is not unusual to have bad service. Buyer beware! This used to be my go to place. They have a Military discount which is great. The last 3 times i was there I have noticed some of the staff that work there are just collecting a pay check. The paint Dept. Was the worst I have seen. Went to get some spray paint for a project and they were out of a lot of colors, but shelves were full of the paint they had most in the wrong spaces. Some in two different places same paint. In 2 places WHY? Another time I went to get some Teak Oil. Asked the young lady there where the teak oil was and she said what's that. She then walked behind the counter to Isle 12 and told me it was in isle. 13 where the spray paint area is. There was a pallet of spray paint in boxes sitting in the isle. And no one was doing anything about organizing it. Walked the entire isle and no teak oil, went around the corner back in isle 12 and there it was. Picked up a can and headed to checkout. Saw the girl that gave me the wrong directions and shouted her the product and told her it was in isle 12. The look I got from her was who cares I don't. She is there to collect a paycheck and use up my air. Maybe she should organize the spray paint section so she would learn something. read more

I was sprayed with a hose by an employee who thought it was funny and knew right away that I didn't think so! I wouldn't have been up set if it was an honest mistake! Spraying it directly in my direction in the entrance is NOT a mistake. I asked the employees at the garden center to call a manager and apparently all phones and communication devices were busted! On my way to the customer service center I stopped another employee who also couldn't help! I lost my mind and screamed for a store manager right now! Apparently no one thought it was strange that I was sopping wet in now slimy flip flops! Oh gee-wiz I'm sorry is what I get from an Assistant store manager who clearly saw that I was beyond upset! It took me ten minutes of asking who the district manager is and was given a bogus customer service number!! It wasn't until I got home and got the actual number!! They have NOT a CLUE what good customer service is! AT ALL! Started with a botched appliance order. Waited for delivery until 6 pm and was then told the item was never put on the truck. Spoke to Nick and he canceled the order and reordered. Had to take a day off work for delivery. Was told I'd get a "convenience discount," didn't. Called again got Casper the dept manager, he said he'd have Nick process the discount. Plus Lowes dropped the price so I'd get that too. Got the convenience discount but not the price drop... Multiple calls, couldn't get through. Went to the store, met Dusty the store assistant mngr... He acted surprised that I wanted the new lower price - It's corporate policy Dusty and it was offered... I was told I'd get a call after he spoke to Casper... Nada for week. I have NEVER experience worse customer service. Thankfully for Paul taking a minute to physically show me and look up a product number for me. Everyone else either pointed, or told me a wrong aisle. With all of the technology at Lowe's, not a single person aside from Paul could look my the product number on their little gadgets in their pockets. Finally, Paul did so for me and told me there were three in stock, only to find out there weren't. He offered to call another Lowe's and was very helpful. I spent an hour being ran around this store and very aggravated. I went to ask someone who I could ask to find a product. She replied with "oh, I don't know. I think the guy will be back soon enough." The least help I've every encountered in a huge store. I will truly go OUT of my way to a different store to avoid such frustration. placed an order online - got an email confirming order with the wrong delivery date. no way to contact them by email - only phone. after two hours trying their 800 number, waiting, and getting disconnected 4 times, tries to call the store directly. called 6 times and was transferred 6 times to a number that rang about 20 times and then disconnected. i have never ever heard of anything like this -- 3 hours of my life so far, and no response! absolutely incredible! On Dec 8th we purchased a refrigerator from Lowe's. Today is December 17th and I still do not have my refrigerator installed. I told the sales person that we had a copper tube connected to the current refrigerator when we purchased the new one. First we were sent a damaged refrigerator. Then yesterday we had a replacement delivered. The delivery man took one look and said he could not install the refrigerator because of the copper tubing. I told him to install it except for the ice maker. He said he could not but would be back this morning to install it once my husband purchased the proper fitting. I went to Lowes for an estimate on a solid surface countertop for the kitchen. I was not told that: I ) Lowes does not fabricate or install countertops but acts as a sales location for a sub-contractor; 2) they were in the process of changing the sub-contractor or 3) that the final costs included many additional charges. I was given a verbal estimate of $1600 for my countertop. I ordered the countertop based on this estimate on 6/2/21 and it was to be installed in two to three weeks. Measurements were taken promptly. Over the next month, I contacted Lowes a number of times regarding the delay.w Finally, I was told by Lowes that they had changed sub-contractors and my order was being transferred to the new ones. Again, measurements were taken promptly. After a month from the time it was ordered, the salesman, Jay, called to tell me they would begin making my countertop as soon as I paid 50% of the bill. He then gave me a price that was twice as much as the original estimate. I had waited for a month, without a kitchen, based on what I thought was a good faith estimate. First, I spoke to the sales supervisor, Casper, who thought there must have been some miscommunication and stated that he could not do anything to help me. I then spoke to his supervisor, the department manager, Dustin, who could only correct the problem by returning the initial ordering fee I had paid. Finally, I spoke with the store manager, Mr. Rodriquez who was the only one who acknowledged that I was telling the truth but he couldn't help me either except to return my ordering fee. I had been without a kitchen for a month waiting for the order with Lowes and there was no countertop in sight. I had to start all over with a different company. I definitely would not recommend Lowes for a countertop purchase and am personally withdrawing all business with them. There was a happy ending. I shopped around and found Countertops & More. The last one I placed at 9 am, I did not hear from them all day, so I went to the store at 2 pm. Lowe's Cape Coral. Lowe's appliance deliver company XPO is a detriment to them. XPO's ignored my request not to come out to my home on a specific day. They sent the same inexperienced crew out twice after being told they would send someone out that knew how to correct the situation. The stackable dyer I purchased with three option venting was beyond XPO's expertise to change from a top vent to rear vent. I was told "It's too technical for us". It took three attempts from XPO before I told them just leave it along. It also took XPO three visits to install the GE Dryer to the Stackable unit properly. XPO also was unable and not willing to assemble the stackable unit, that too was beyond their knowledge " We never did one of these". READ THE DIRECTIONS What amazed me more was the lack luster concern from Lowe's management through this whole process. I felt like I was talking to the wal and getting lip service. Nice people when you go into the store to shop but very poor flooring installations department and subcontracting companies. My initial floor survey was done wrong and my second survey was done so wrong I had more than $600 in extra materials I had to arrange to be returned, yet at the same time they did not include enough trim so I am still waiting for a flooring contractor to return to finish the job. Lowes Installation section has been of little help in getting them to return to finish the job. And I had to file a claim with my credit card company to get my money back for the extra materials. Also very hard to get anyone to ever answer the phone. Bottom line -- got to Home Depot. read more

What can I say about Lowe's. Is the worst store I have ever been to we ordered blinds three months before our house was finished and now it's a year after the house is been completed and the blinds still do not work. Installers managers have been out here no less than 12 to 14 times and still can't get anything correct which we have four blinds that don't work and they never call back never check on it never fix it. Do not ever buy from Lowes there an absolute nightmare to deal with if there's any type of problem. They don't take care of their customers.The management is terrible. I had the best service by Bob M. in the electrical department. He was awesome in helping me pick out fan and a chandelier along with a dimmer switch. This gentleman told me everything I need to know when it came to fans. He was very polite, informative and so helpful. The previous employee I spoke with told me to read the labels on the fan and it would tell me if it had a remote control. Not very helpful. Bob on the other hand was awesome. He also help in other areas as I was new to the area. The prices at Lowe's were competitive with Home Depot, service so much better at Lowe's! Today I went back to Lowe's to purchase window treatments. Again, I had terrific customer service with Mercy. She cut my blinds and did a great job. This was the second time I dealt with terrific people in window treatment. Shannon helped previously. read more

Stopped by the paint dept and spoke to Bob on Sept 22, 2019 at 4:30pm to have a color matched. Had the color code and all necessary information and the associate behind the counter said he couldn't do it, basically refusing to help me. Terrible customer service!! I've had colors matched with less information at many other places. Was in the market to buy paint for the entire exterior of my house. Huge sale opportunity missed. Home Depot will be my new go-to store. I'm in retail management and if any of my associates treated customers in this fashion they would not be employed long. read more

Terrible. Was there Friday night at 7:00 p.m. Only 3 registers open. After waiting at the first two decided to go to self checkout.... CLOSED! Went to garden checkout. Waited almost 20 minutes for a manager so the man at the front could get some kind of approval. He finally gave up and left. Then "manager" Mel arrived. We have had horrible customer service recently at the Lowe's in Cape Coral on NE Pine Island Rd. After speaking to several managers, multiple employees, no one there was of any help, or seemed to know what to do for us .We had a water heater go bad, had no hot water fir one week, had an extended warranty, but went through hours at the store and telephone to get it repaired or replaced, or an actual refund for something that should never have been a charge for product or labor since it was a factory glitch that cased it. No one calls back when they say they will. Then, the same time frame--we paid to have some one come to our home to give us a price on a new water system. Once again, almost 2 weeks later, no one came, no one calls back, after inquiring twice about this! Poor, poor customer service. What is going on there???? Mixed feelings about this place, while we loved the selection of lanterns, lighting track and fixtures, the firm that they recommended (Mr. Electric) was a total bust. Their estimate was more than twice what other electricians quoted. In addition, we had to pay $43 for a quote (other electricians did not require that) AND that the deposit would not be deducted from the job despite what the Lowes salesperson told us. read more

purchased a pressure washer from lowes on pine island road in cape coral. the washer is 6 months old and used twice. on the second use after 5 minutes of run time the engine seized! could not even turn it over. plenty of oil, well cared for. Took it back to lowes who gave me the run around for more than 30 inutes. no customer service, no guidance - NOTHING! Customer service IS NOT what this company is about. I purchased a ceiling fan (Crosswinds II by Harbour Breeze) about 40 days ago. I also opted for the 2 yr protection plan, as it was explained to me at time of purchase would kick in after the one year manufacturer's warranty expired. Well after 40 days of perfect use, the remote (the only way to operate this model) failed to continue to work. Google it, this is a common review for this model. The employees go out of there way to help with any of my needs and answer any questions i might have. Buy beware!!! Whatever you do, don't buy your appliances at Lowes and do not buy Samsung appliances! I spent over $20,000 renovating my house and bought everything at Lowes, included in that was ALL brand new Samsung appliances. I even went as far as purchasing their extended warranty, thank goodness I did. In a matter of 1.5 years I have had to have a technician come out and replace the fan in my convection oven, The dishwasher that is leaking and also has a horrible smell inside of it all the time, the refrigerator that has the ice dispenser and the dispenser dispenses ice cubed and crushed every time no matter what setting you put it on. Not to mention my washing machine, that is also Samsung, has a recall on it due to the tub inside flying off track and pretty much exploding when washing bedding or anything other than a light load. The only appliance that I didn't have problems with was the microwave, until this week ( now they are all 2 years old at this point). I called Lowe's to set up an appointment with another technician to come out and fix the microwave. They set an appointment for the next day. Then The morning of they call me and tell me they have to reschedule my appointment due to not having a technician in my area at that time. Then they proceed to make an appointment for me for two days later and after scheduling the appointment then tell me that they don't have that appointment available any more either. At this point the next available appointment is next Monday. I have three children and one of them is an infant. How am I supposed to heat up my baby food? When I called Lowe's to see if there was anything they could do or possibly get someone out any sooner, they said they would call and ask. Within 30 minutes they called me back and said there was nothing possible for them to do. They also stated that they do not loan out appliances. So now my hands are tied. All that money and there is nothing they can do to fix the problems. To this day my refrigerator is still broke, the dishwasher still leaks and reeks of a horrible smell, and my microwave is broke. I will never waist my hard earned money on another Samsung product or at Lowes ever again. read more
