Pretty horrid experience. We purchased new appliances online as we prepared to put our home on the market. Original delivery date came and passed with no contact. We reached out to Lowe's customer service to find out one of the in-stock items (at time of ordering) was now out of stock and the entire delivery was being held until they could get it. Come to find out the online inventory system and in store inventory system don't talk to each other so the likelihood of items ever being all available all at the same time, AND at a time or date they deliver to your area, is slim. On the phone for over an hour with customer service gave us a guarantee of a Sunday after 4 delivery. Photos were to be taken Monday for our listing. Sunday at 3:30 we still hadn't heard anything regarding delivery so we called again only to find out that we were now scheduled for the following week. After two hours on the phone we were able to reselect items and stores with availability to navigate a Wednesday and Friday delivery. Be aware they don't tell you when they can show up the day of delivery. They may give you a 30 Min warning call but most likely won't. The appliances were dropped into our house and the guys left. That was literally the start to finish experience. I won't be using Lowe's again and need to remember that customer service is essentially dead as big box retailers race to the bottom. read more

Don't bother ordering anything online to pickup here. Half the time you'll get cancelation calls saying "oops the website was wrong...we're actually out of stock for that item". Ironically they've got more dedicated online pickup parking than any other Lowes in the area. One extra start for that. read more

Their repair plans are garbage. I've had over 5 calls to get a faulty control panel display replaced on a Dishwasher. I have a five year protection plan that is still in effect. The first call ended in them giving me an appointment however the person didn't actually "hit the button" to put it into the system. The second call revealed this "oversite" and I got a new appointment further out and a $25 gift card for my day off work. Another call was made to confirm the appointment since I never got a confirmation in email, and I didn't trust them any more. Sure enough they had a very old email and that was resolved. After the repair guy from A&E showed up he looked at the dishwasher and informed me they didn't have the part. I had to wait a week for the new part. Now the part has arrived and I've called again for an apointment today to A&E (which is what I was told to do by the tech who came to make the repair). A&E then tells me to call Lowes because they can't make the appointment. I call Lowes (this is now call 5), who have to call A&E and between them they give me an early or late appointment on Friday August 10th. I take the early and ask the Lowes rep to confirm the apointment. She says she has and it's confirmed. Then my wife gets an email that the apointment is for Tuesday August 14th in the afternoon. I have now just called back for my 6th call (5 to Lowes and 1 to A&E), I asked to speak to a supervisor. After waiting on hold for a very long time, I was routed to Melanie. She said the person I talked with earlier who promissed me an appointment on the 10th had put no notes in the system, so she didn't know what happened. I asked for an earlier appointment which she said wasn't possible, after leaving to talk with A&E. Then after talking, she discovered that this was a continuation of an existing appointment (apparently she didn't know that by the notes, or lack ther of in their system). She called A&E back again to see if there was an earlier appointment for a repair involving the part which had already been sent to my address. She came back and said there was no earlier appointment. I then asked how this could happen and she assured me it would be looked into internally. I then asked for someone to contact me to inform me of why this happened and what Lowes would do to fix this problem. She said they couldn't do this. I then asked, "so you'll do an internal investigation, but I would never know what happened." She said "correct". I'm now waiting another week for a repair in which I have the part and I can do the repair myself in less than 15 minutes, but I have to wait. read more

GO TO HOMEDEPOT! For the third time this month this location has screwed me over on warranties or installs.

We used Lowe's for our kitchen renovation and the results were mixed. The negatives: Lowe's doesn't sell plumbing, electrical or painting services and I had to coordinate those myself You pay everything up front so there is little incentive to complete the job. Ours took 5 months and for most of that time our kitchen was completely useless. Our project was delayed by about a month because two cabinets arrived damaged. Our cabinet installer treated our job as a low priority. Fitting in a day or half-day when he didn't have more important work to do. The installer was incredibly unfriendly. There were quite a few errors in our contract. For example we ended up with some very nice slow-close hinges and some that just allow the doors to slam. The stores offer was that I pay for new hinges and pay the installer to change them out. Some installation costs weren't included so we ended up paying more than we had planned. On the positive side: Our designer gave us very good advice and we are satisfied with the look of our kitchen The quality of the cabinets and installation are very good. The bottom line: if our contract had been double checked and we had more motivated installer this would have been a great experience. read more

I ordered a door for my house. They got back with me right away and sent a man out to do a preliminary measurement. I was told that another person would call and set up5a time to do a final measurement. I never got that call so I went to Lowe's to find out why. They couldn't find my order, after waiting for quite some time,they found it in the window orders. They apologized and set up another appointment. That man came out and did his thing, took my money, told me my door was odd sized and would have to be made at the factory. It would be 3 weeks before it would be in and another few weeks until it could be installed. I got a call when it came in. They scheduled the appointment for a few weeks later. On the day it was to be installed, I took time off and was there waiting and no one shows up. I called the store and they told me the door wasn't the right size. Why didn't they inspect it when it was delivered? I was told that they wouldn't be coming out and that they would call when they found out something. I didn't hear from them so I called them today. Customer service tells me they have called the company to order another door and it was approved. She said it was an in stock item and should be shipped in the next day or so. I'm wondering how my special sized door that had to be made at the factory, and cost twice as much as the in stock items can now be in stock... I've learned my lesson about where not to buy my doors. read more

Get past the homeless asking for cigarettes in the parking lot to be told they wouldn't honor a protection plan with more than 4 months left on it. Red headed, short-haired customer service agent rolled her eyes and threw a receipt packet with absolutely zero service, empathy to the issue, or attempt to solve the issue. Not the first time there was a problem here, but it certainly will be the last. Shame on this branch's management. If you're locked into going to Lowe's, at least go to a different branch. Otherwise, there's plenty of places out there that will take my money and not treat me like I'm trying to scam them out of a replacement for a Lemon. Stay away. read more

Staff is unknowledgeable about inventory or hardware matters. Was buying a table and chair set that was advertised on sale. Because the product numbers were off by a digit, we had to bring back the ones we selected and get the correct ones. No help was offered, we were told to get it ourselves or pay the regular price for the ones we had. The correct and incorrect ones were side by side and were identical. However, they are almost the only hardware store in town. read more

This is the best home improvement store in the area! As landlords, this has been our go-to store for years because pretty much everyone who works there is a professional. Troy was the latest superstar to help us out when we needed a door installed. He did an outstanding job setting everything up and keeping us posted. Also the management team at this store is awesome and has never failed us when things didn't go quite right. I highly recommend this store. read more

First off I have never wrote a review on yelp before, but I want others to be warned about the service. If I could give less than a one star review for their installed sales and I would. Just so that you understand that I am not speaking rashly out of turn, I am a general contractor and consistently spent thousands of dollars at this location each month. I hadn't had any problems until I purchased a new home and decided to have them install the carpet vice an actual flooring store. Now to the story: The carpet was purchased over 3 months ago and was scheduled for installation 3 weeks following. Those weeks went by and no one showed up to install. I called to find out what had happened and I was told that the item had been back ordered and would be in the following Tuesday. So after no call by the following THURSDAY, I called again to check on the status to be told that it was on back order again and should be in the following Thursday, since that is the day shipments come in. The following week the same thing happens, so I go to the store to talk to the manager but am told they are on vacation for the next week. At that same time after talking to the installation team I get conformation that it is on a truck and would be here the following Tuesday with the install the following week. FINALLY, the day the carpet is going to get installed and the installer shows up and asks if lowes contacted us about the carpet.... They did not measure correctly and order the wrong amount carpet. So with the flooring already pulled we had the carpet partially installed which left my family to live on the subfloor on the stairs and partially in the hallway. After that I contacted lowes and they said that they knew about it and sorry they hadn't called...again, but it was already on order and would arrive the following week and already set a date to install. As it would be, the same story happened again as before with a back order again and the material not shipping due to a non-full truck load. After this, it was the last straw and I went in again to find the carpet arrived the previous day (thanks for the call again). The carpet was scheduled for install again, and the morning came without the installers showing up. When I called I was told they were unable to make it so they would have to schedule for 2 weeks form that date. so, I went and picked up my carpet to install myself and requested a refund. I was told my case would be pushed up to the manager and I would have an answer that week. Well, 2 weeks have gone by and the only resolution I have been given out of 3 additional phone calls and one more trip to the store is that they are extremely busy, the manager/ assistant manager is on vacation and that I am at the top of the list of things to do. I know I left out a few more trips and phone calls, but this is beyond ridiculous. The worst part was the customer service aspect. I understand that mistakes happen, Items don't get shipped correctly, and things get back ordered. But why is it that I; the customer, have to keep calling or going into the store to figure these things out? As a small business owner I realize that customer service and reputation are everything, so that makes me really think about how tis big business really doesn't care about the little people and claims. So I withdrew my business from them and am now happy as a Home depot Pro. I hope someone reads this so it saves them a lot of pain because I don't want this to happen to someone else. Another day and no resolve yet! Next step is to submit my claim to the corporate office. read more

Recently purshased a Maytag Washer and Dryer set. They gave me the best prices of all major stores in area. An excellect care/maintenance plan for the set for a very reasonable price. Project: Replace siding on only two sides of 25' by 50' house. My one Star is associated with home installation Services. Not the Store employees but the estimator Ron, project manager William and installer Doug. Its is not personal with any of them, they are all good guys, it is with the service I have received. RON the estimator, 1. Told me it would take about a week- Answer: starting week three and still at least a few days out AT BEST. 2. He said i didn't have to remove anything attached to the house exterior, that was part of the contractor work. Answer: contract showed up and asked me why i didn't remove anything that, that was not part of his job- he said not to worry about it, he would work it out with Lowes. WILLIAM the project Manager- Came by the house one time (first day of job) since they started, not even a phone call to ask if I had questions or how it was going. On Vacation, no one appointed in his absence. Contractor DOUG, works hard, here weekends but mostly by himself, his wife helped a few hours a couple evening. A second guy helped a few days initially but not since. Quality work, does it right. Failed to show up Monday, day 15- no call from Lowes. LOWES Install Services- called Monday- said they would contact contractor and get right back. Called three hours later, New gal said she would call right back. Called back in 20 minutes and said there was a paint discrepancy- I said NO- its right on the contract. Anyways after getting delayed two weeks by Lowes, having a one week project turn into three, no oversight by project management, having to check on everything when there is an issue instead of them calling me, this is my take. I paid 13.8 total, 2.5K more than a low bid in order to have someone else manage this. I will probably head to Home Depot more often now than what I do, distance is same from my house just a Lowes guy or was a Lowes guy. read more

For the past several months, the quality of customer service at Lowes in Bremerton has really gone downhill. Nobody seems to know anything about their product. The last and final straw came today when I went to pay my Lowes bill on my debit card. The bill was $4.66. The clerk tells me that I am paying the wrong amount. I asked how can that be? I showed her the statement and it showed no previous balance, and the amount due was $4.66.. She kept insisting that I was paying the wrong amount. I asked her to show me what the difference was. She tells me that she can't do that because the computer doesn't show that. I ask her, if the computer doesn't show it, how do I know what the extra charge was. All I can get from her was a dumb look. I tell her that I want to see the manager. The assistant manager tells me the same crap as the clerk. I tell him that I am going to pay the $4.66, and you are going to process my payment and give me a reciept. He kept giving me the run around like the clerk did. I asked to speak to the store manager. He gives me this cock and bull story that he is the only manager. I demanded that he take my payment. In order to shut me up, he did take my payment. Oh, the register I was at was broken so we had to go to another register. I swear that these people who work at Lowes are handicapped and retarded. I will never shop at Lowes ever again. When the next bill comes, I will pay by a check, and return my cut up card to them. I will always go to Kitsap Lumber and Scott McLenden's They are real hardware stores with high quality customer service.. read more
