Plenty of interior space and fit nicely in the spot for this counter depth appliance. Regrettably, it appears LG sealed the protective plastic (for shipping) within the seams of the appliance during manufacturing. The delivery person ripped it off leaving pieces of jagged plastic all around the top and bottom. It was a pain to get it all off. read more

There associates answer after a few moments and try and connect you to what I think are people that are not real. My girlfriend and I were meandering through our local Lowe's when we saw a pretty amazing Memorial Day sale for window treatments. Since buying our house, our sheer curtains kept waking us up even on weekends when we wanted to sleep in. The 40% off sale was enough of an incentive to checkout some of the massive design books they have with different brands of window coverings. It costs you like $25 to take them home, but they refund it when you bring it back. We were working with a lovely person that I believe was named Rachel.. I couldn't track it down on the receipt. She walked us through dozens of our bookmarks and showed us anything relevant on the floor displays. We ended up buying Bali Shades for our Kitchen, Family Room, Master Bedroom and Master bathroom saving about $800 on the retail price + an additional 5% when I signed up for Lowe's Credit. Was pretty surprised at the level of customer service, and wanted to make sure to go out of my way to spread the well-deserved reputation this store and department has in my inner circle now! They mentioned 40% off is the biggest sale they offer. So if you're thinking about window treatments or blinds -- shop the major holidays -- July 4th, Labor Day, Black Friday, Memorial Day -- you know anytime you start seeing those mattress commercials. read more

This review is for one of their employees who went above and beyond to help me. After gathering supplies for a succulent garden that included a huge bag of soil and heavy rocks, I was contemplating how I was going to load these items in my car. One of their employees named Cee, was gathering shopping carts in their parking lot at the time. Without hesitation, he asked me if I needed help. I'm the type of person that does not like to bother people, but at that moment he knew I needed assistance. So after nodding my head, he comes in, hoist the heavy items into my car which saved time and the risk of injuring myself. I felt that was very generous, helpful, and kind of him to do when he could've went on with his merry way. This has been the WORST experience I have had purchasing anything from any store. Purchased a refrigerator from Lowes May 13,2023 for $1539.28. To be delivered Mother's Day. It was defective as the door seal literally fell forward from the door and was not able to be put back. Refrigerator #1. Two other new refrigerators have been sent to my house with all three being defective. Second one had dents in the side and rear and the freezer door did not close properly. Third one began making a very starnge noise the minute it was plugged in and after 24 hours only was cold at the very bottem of the unit. This whole process took until May 19,2023 which meant all my frozen food had to be discarded (about $$200.00 worth of meat). In utter disgust, I went to another vendor (Howard's Appliance) and purchased a refrigerator which was delivered the next day in mint condition and fully operational. Of course I requested a refund from Lowe's on May 19,2023. On May 27,2023, I called as I have not seen any refund processed. They called me back the next day and requested my card number as well as my expiration date and security code. However, I then received a call from my bank's fraud division saying that a charge for $1344.31 needed to be verified? First I paid Lowes $194.97 more on my original invoice and this was not fully refunded, secondly, I could not even call anyone at my bank to find out what was going on as it is a Holiday weekend. I have already made over 15 calls to Lowes, wasted over 15 days of my time and STILL do not have this resolved. Lowes customer service is the poorest of ANY store. Don't buy there unless you have lots of time to spend and like being frustrated and being transferred from one person to another. read more

Worst customer service ever! A bunch of bored employees who could care less what you're looking for. I used to think Home Depot had the worst but no more. I came in and asked if they had retractable screens. Yes aisle 44. It was actually aisle 42 but whatever. There was no one to help me so I went to customer service and asked if they install retractable screens. The bored blond said hmm I don't know and looked at her computer for 8 minutes before she asked someone else who called for victor and then sent me back to aisle 42. Victor was busy so I sat quietly waiting for Victor and another guy says can I help. Yes do you install retractable screen doors? No we stopped that service. Ok so only took 45 minutes to find out they don't do it. But you do sell them ? Yes there's a display right around this. He didn't get up just pointed. I went off to find the display. I couldn't find it but at this point I wouldn't buy it from Lowe's. This store is a morgue. No wonder they are all bored, glassy eyed employees. read more

On May 14th, I observed for the second time within two weeks, Customers in the store clearly NOT wearing face masks. I asked one of the store associates if the store is enforcing the use of Face Maks and he said yes. When I brought to his attention three people clearly NOT wearting maks the associate rudely said "We are not the Police". Every place of business reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not comply with store policy. Since this store is not willing to enforce City and County helth requirements and are rude to those who do comply, I believe there is no need to shop at this location. read more

Yay or nay? 2/2 We had been fridge hunting for a few weeks and after searching in a lot of locations we found one that met all of our expectations at a good price. There were a few annoyances with delivery, but management contacted me and made things right. If you're looking for a new fridge, ask for Randy and he'll help you out. The issue we had with delivery for those curious: The first two guys that came to drop off our fridge were very uncooperative once they saw that there was no shut off valve behind our fridge for the water line. When I let them know about the main shut off at the front of the house, they declined to use it and said there had to be another one somewhere. I wasn't aware of another one, so they mocked me for being unable to answer. They also mocked me in Spanish as they walked away because they assumed I do not speak Spanish. I kept my cool and asked them to leave. They left my property with the fridge because I refused to accept the delivery without the installation. A few days later two other guys showed up and had zero issues with installation. They simply tied the hose and placed it in a bucket to prevent leakage while they installed. No fancy equipment needed, just some people who knew how to get things done rather than cry about it like the first two clowns. Lowe's uses a third party for these deliveries so if you have any issues contact Lowe's directly to straighten the issues out. They do take a long time to answer the phone though, so I just drove to the store to get a quick resolution. They compensated me for the trouble. Expense 1/1 Got a great deal on a Maytag fridge here and we're very happy with the product. I hope it lasts. Location 1/1 The selection on fridges here was good. We have gone to other stores with a lot more selection but many of them were brands we heard to stay away from (such as Samsung). The delivery people are more of a gamble since it is third party, but the employees here care about the customers and it shows. Thanks again to Randy and Carlos for turning a bad situation around. Just had a simple question of the 2 guys in blue aprons who were chatting with each other in the tools section. Apron 1 immediately deferred to Apron 2 (at least he responded to "excuse me"). Apron 2 threw attitude letting me know that questions were an imposition. I had to challenge the attitude to get a simple answer. So much for the Lowe's, we're superior to Home Depot marketing. My dryer died so I purchased a washer dryer combo on a Wednesday for delivery on the following Monday with the understanding that delivery time would be provided the night before. Come Sunday no call. On Monday morning I get a call from the store that the dryer is not available but the will deliver the washing machine. A number was provided to call for information. After working through the phone tree the phone rings without an answer. I called and asked for a manager. While waiting for an answer I drove to the store. After a 29 minute drive to the store, as I"m walking into the store, the assistant manager answers. Needless to say I'd built up a bit of steam by this time. I ask the assistant for the manager and he said he was in charge. His first question was who fulfilled the order. I explained that since the order was not complete no one fulfilled the order. Many things were said after that but never did he accept responsibility, acknowledge the inconvenience to me, or apologize for their ineptitude. read more

Hey, from one human being to another. Unless you know exactly what you need and don't need to talk to anyone, Avoid Lowe's at all cost. They will not help you, they do not care about you, they do not know what they are doing, and frankly they will give you lip service. We placed a $1400 order for fence panels to be delivered on Saturday. The panels were delivered later than the delivery window chosen and came in terrible condition. We sent the order back and then went to the store on Tuesday to pick out our panels. At the store we were told they would be delivered on Thursday. Our delivery window was 2-6 PM. They did not arrive between 2 and 6 people. After calling the store I was ping ponged between the store and some random customer service line only to be told our delivery was moved. No one called us, no one reached out. We took time off work to wait for this delivery and frankly I'm dissapointed and hurt that the same courtesy was not provided to us to have this ordered delivered. Lowes does not care about you, a human being who works hard for the money you earn and who has maybe 2 weekends to complete a project. read more

This has been my go-to home improvement store for several years now. I've never had a bad experience, and I don't think I appreciated nor recognized that until today. My brother's family and mine decided to go christmas tree shopping today. We were dreading this because last year we had to travel most of SoCal to find the right tree. This was our first, and only stop this afternoon. They had the best quality of trees with reasonable prices. What sold me and really made me appreciate this location was the OVER THE TOP customer service their staff had. They were patient with helping us find the right trees in their inventory. They sized, netted, and loaded the tree without issue and all with a smile and inquiries on how they could further assist. Brad, Nathalie, and Saul were amazing. Marissa called us to say she fulfilled our order but it was an "opened" item, but we could still return it if needed, which was appreciated. She was there when we picked it up and could not have been more friendly and pleasant. Found an outdoor Christmas decoration on their website that I HAD TO HAVE! Instantly added to the cart and went to checkout. Store pickup unavailable. Ship to my home, also unavailable. The only way of getting the item was through Lowe's delivery, which costs an additional nearly $60! So now on top of the price of the item, you are forced to schedule a Lowe's home delivery as if you are purchasing an appliance! Good grief! This was a light up Christmas lawn ornament. By the time, you added the cost of the required Lowe's delivery, the total price was around $160! No thank you. Why can Lowe's advertise and sell items on their website, yet the only way to get the item is Lowe's delivery?!?!? Why is Lowe's delivery the only option for a Christmas lawn ornament?????? This location has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have walked into this store and seen store members standing and talking to each other, but today I called from 9:30am to 12:30 and finally got someone after being hung up on several times and EVEN HEAD A STORE ASSOCIATE get on the line and ask for an associate to report to customer service on the INTERCOM. My husband says "I can hear you" and the call was immediately dropped. This review is about a delivery for a washer and dryer set that was to be delivered to me this morning. The Delivery driver arrived 20 minutes early, called twice and never answered my 10 returned calls. I speak to an "Appliance Supervisor" who said the driver said they called me back at 9:30am. IF YOU WANT TO ENSURE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BEING PROVIDED, YOU CHECK AND INVESTIGATE - Ask for the screenshot proof because I have mine. No accommodations offered to me, I had to ask about other options. I only gave this store 2 stars b/c the original associate who helped with this order did a great job and because eventually I got to speak to a Supervisor. I had previously wrote up amazing yelp review for the store about a year ago, because that Customer Service used to be excellent. Now it's pretty much a wrap with a service. The last time I came to the store to look for some hardware for bathroom, I almost walked 500 steps around the store, trying to find someone to help. Today I come to spend money on a electric Baldwin lock and the hardware which total around $400, and I couldn't find anybody to help me for 20 minutes. We had several other people attempting to get help on aisle15, and we each requested help but nothing ever happened. Finally when I went to customer service, and the manager of the store, Pepe said he had been outside and persisted to help another gentleman that had the same issue on aisle 15. All I can say is wow, and I'm on my way another hardware store where I will be paid attention to and receive customer service. read more

Tricky to rate. Descent selection and prices, convenient location. People are mostly nice. Most things here are self service so easy enough. The store is clean and Ina. Nice area, ample parking. My beef with Lowe's is that if you actually do need help, say in lighting, you might as well camp out. Pack a tent and food because you're going to be there all night. Waiting for someone can take forever, and many calls over an Intercom. I've waited 30 minutes in lighting and no one ever showed. Paint folks are always around which is nice at least. read more

Ive been here maybe 30 times, and its always been an excruciating experience dealing with the employees. Aside from the one tall young manager, everyone else is miserable. Getting any help in the paint department is like pulling teeth. Ive had people walk away in the middle of helping me and literally LEAVE the store. And finding someone to actually help is impossible. I needed help in the wood department and the first guy(that someone else sent me away to) said he "couldn't picture it" when I told him I had to connect two dowels, and then sent me to Bob... Bob was just as helpful barely listening to me, while muttering about doing "two things at once" and then told me to go to isle 13 before dismissing me. Like why is it so difficult for anyone here to do their actual job? Do they get paid in monopoly money or are they kidnapped victims forced to be there? Im always amazed with the consistency in how unhelpful everyone is(except for the young tall manager, who if you can find him, is very nice and helpful and most likely and AI bot). Not sure why all the bad reviews but I've been shopping here for years and it's always been a good experience fir me. Any small problem I've ever had has always been resolved. I come here for everything home related or even just random projects! They pretty much have it all! Just like any place, there are some employees more willing to help and others...not so much but for the most part I've mostly had good experiences. You can always expect great new products with the change of every season and they're usually stocked well. I was fortunate to encounter Eli at the Bellflower Blvd, Long Beach Lowes. He provided outstanding customer service for me twice recently in the electrical dept and for another project. He went above and beyond, is knowledgeable, and simply the best! When I go to the "other" big box, it can end up a waste of time if one needs help. Often I see a group of employees chatting and am sent to isle whatever where I can't find needed item so it ends up being a wild goose chase. read more

This is a fantastic home improvement store and location. I had a specific item I needed for a home improvement project, and they were able to find the item I need and order it quickly over the phone. They had a subsequent issue with the vendor and getting the correct item, but I received a ton of help with that. Initially Jeremy took my order and he immediately took control of the situation and reassured me that he was going to get the correct item and have everything worked out. Rosie and Jonathan also worked on my order and were making sure my price was correct for the exact item I needed. Lastly, Mary stepped in to assist with the price adjustment based on the program they were using and clearly identifying the exact item I needed. Everyone was really eager to help and jump in to get my order straightened out. Everyone was also very friendly and it was reassuring to see how professional and helpful all of the staff were at this Lowe's. Boys and their toys. That's what I coined this visit to Lowe's as because I stopped by to pick up a jigsaw. It's not all about tech toys for this boy! Every location is configured differently but signage is great and I was perusing the power tools section in no time. I didn't immediately receive assistance as I usually don't need it - but I could see that the person assigned to the area was busy helping others. That's the norm I see whenever I'm in a Lowe's. After I found what I was looking for - one of the staff did ask me for help which was needed because I was contemplating optional accessories. Knowledgeable and friendly is how I can describe my encounter which again, seems to be there norm when I'm in a Lowe's. All of the single starred reviews are very much warranted. I went to another Lowe's (Long Beach Towne Center) a few weeks ago and I was surprised at how empty and well stocked it was in comparison to Home Depot. Therefore, I decided to stop by this Lowe's on Bellflower Blvd on the way home from Signal Hill. I had previously did curbside pick up of four 3 x 5 (36" x 60") mirrors from Lowe's and realized I would need some more equipment to hang it. Upon reading the back of the package at home, I found that it gave recommendations of items I would need in order to successfully install it. Specifically, a metal J-Channel, and fixed screws, among others. I went in and asked where I could find a J-Channel to hang a mirror. The first staff member prompted me to aisle 15. I found the aisle, but could not identify the item. I saw door wedges and things of that nature, none of which read J-Channel. I left and asked another staff member if he could identify it for me. He said he worked in electrical, and would paged someone overhead to the aisle to help me out. Another staff member comes to aisle, and is literally clueless. I explain what I need and the purpose. It was as if I was speaking another language. She then asks not one, but two of her other coworkers to see if they could help me to simply find this J-Channel, all to no avail. It was truly mind blowing how...useless the employees were. They might as well have worked in a supermarket. No form of specialized knowledge whatsoever. I eventually found the object myself in the mirror aisle. But, I understand why Home Depot has the high volume of sales and customers that it does and why Lowe's is empty. read more
