Maybe not always as low as the big stores or online vendors. But this local store provides better service than I find in the big stores.

One word for that: egads! We did a frantic online search to find appliances, and stumbled upon Appliance Land Etc. The Appliance Land website didn't show many details about specific appliances in inventory, but we went anyway, trying to avoid the big box stores if possible. They had a great selection, but really only one in the size that we wanted (30"W 66"H 30"D) but it matched exactly what we were looking for. Dennis was amazingly helpful and awesome. He checked the inventory and saw that he had last year's model of a fridge in the size that we needed. He offered us that model for about $50 off the normal retail since it was a floor model. Turns out, the inventory was wrong and the model on the floor was the 2015 model. He offered us the same discount on the fridge, and we're having it delivered for free on Tuesday. I'll write an update to my review after the delivery. They offer haul-away for $20 and they will recycle it. A couple of notes, we found the same model fridge at either Lowes or Home Depot, and it was the same retail price. We chose to support small business. Dennis also gave us some good advice on microwaves and how easy it is to install them in lieu of a vent. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone shopping for appliances. We're looking to redo our kitchen in a year or so, and we'll definitely be visiting these guys when we shop for appliances.

It's like the best hometown hardware or car parts store that has been around for decades - they've seen it all, and are happy to help. The College Park / Laurel / Beltsville / Hyattsville area is really lucky to have a plumbing shop like this in business. Fergusons stores often refer customers to T.M. O'Donnell much like a primary care doctor would refer a patient to a specialist. Unlike a medical procedure, you can just go to the specialist first (T.M. O'Donnell) and get the parts and any info you need on the first trip! Remember to bring cash if you only need a small part or two, as they prefer to only accept credit cards for purchases over $10.

I was sold a graphite stringy substance in its place, but still had a leak. I went to Ferguson's plumbing supply and they had the whole spigot, but they referred me to TM O'Donnell. They even gave me a printed paper with directions on how to get there from Ferguson's. I went to this shop and was greated by 3 friendly men. The one that took care of me looked for the washer but did not have the exact size. He did get me a graphite ring washer. He stated if the spigot was still leaking from the handle, the problem was likely farther down the rod and to come back with the rod if it does. He was right. He did not charge for the graphite washer by the way. So I took the rod back to the shop. He replaced the end piece which also seemed to have a washer which was eroded/torn. I paid $6.43 for the piece. And it fixed the job. No more leaky handle. Now I can set my house to timer to water my wife's plants and grass. Definitely, would come back to this store. They are a wholesale distributor and seem to have a lot in their shop. If they dont have it, they can probably get it for you.

I rented a power snake hose for the day. The representative working insisted on giving me a hand to load this equipment into my car. In the process of assisting and shoving this very heavy piece of equipment into the car I get home to realize he had been scratching the machine up and down the panel directly behind the rear passenger door the entire time he was putting it in my car. scratched so deeply there are dents into my rear panel. I go to call and speak to someone about remediation and am told it is a Saturday, no one works there that can assist until maybe Monday or Tuesday... So I call back on Monday and get in touch with a store manager, whom I will leave anonymous out of respect for her simply doing what she is told to do. I am told plainly "there are signs that state we aren't responsible for damage done when loading your vehicle." A sign on a door, I did not see. A very important piece of information that was not called out to me by the representative who offered to help. Nor on any documentation I was given (which was none). Hundreds of dollars of damage to my vehicle by a representative who wasn't paying attention or didn't care enough to mention he was scraping a 130-pound machine against the side of my car. Roles reversed, I am paying full price to replace their machine had I damaged it in any way. There is no accountability within that store and no desire to mend a mistake their worker made. Do not utilize this rental facility. They do not care about you and as soon as they have your money nothing is their problem. I was told my information would be given to the owner, Ashlie H., with no guarantee I would ever hear back from her or the store to remedy this situation. They don't have a care in the world for their customer base. I spend thousands of dollars a year on home repair/upgrades, as do many locals in this area. There will not be another dollar spent at this store and I wish everyone the best of luck when utilizing this business. They do not care about you! **EDIT** Owner winded up calling me back and the inability to take any accountability is astonishing. An employee did hundreds of dollars of damages to a customer's car and every excuse in the book was thrown out. "we don't know if that damage was from the drive home" "we don't know if that damage was from you getting the machine out once you got home". I mostly just wanted to talk about the product: I purchased a Ceiling light that was missing hardware, had rust on parts of the metal, and was obviously a REPACKAGED mess. I know a good electrician install guy who decided to sort through all of the mess to hang it up for me. I had been dealing with too much to do return. I'm sure if you get unopened items, youll be fine. But beware of the boxes with extra tape, because there will be crap in them and also crap missing or rusty.

Research showed that recent customer experiences with DAD's were good so I took a chance with them. Glad I did. Among their large selection of brands and appliances they had the very one I wanted on hand. The cost was acceptable. I set up delivery and installation and even before I could drive home their 3rd party installer was on the phone to arrange an appointment. It was only three days later they came and installed it. Installer was great, arriving spot on time at the beginning of the two hour window, doing a quick, through and tidy job of it. All-in-all it was a quick, painless experience. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

We knew the specific model we wanted and it wasn't one they carried in their warehouse. They said it would take a week to get (it took less). They also said it would take up to a week to schedule their installer (they use a 3rd party). So they call me on a Friday before the order ship week is up and say they have them in the warehouse and could I take installation the following Monday late morning or early afternoon. Indeed I could. The installer calls mid-morning to confirm the installation time. They come on time an perform a professional install with all old units removed and new units installed without a single scratch or ding (my install was underneath a countertop with slots for a washer and dryer as is usually done for a dishwasher). Overall smooth and no complaints.
