NEGATIVE STARS!!!! Went into store to buy a dryer but would not sell what was on the display or even the extra that it showed on stock. Ordered on line and got a text the day before for delivery from 11am-3pm. At 10:15am the day of delivery we got an email saying the delivery was canceled. No ETA for when it can be delivered but can call to reachedule. Trying to find out WHY it was canceled or even if we can pick it up FROM THIS STORE and NO ANSWER FOR 5 HOURS!!!!!! Calls dropped- nobody answers the phone. Nobody can tell me why it was canceled other than 'it missed the truck'. Tried social media platforms and they are no help. No customer service at all!!! This review is directed at the third party "Premier" installation service that Lowe's uses. I purchased a range and hood with microwave. This simple install required a $40 visit from Premier to ensure it would install properly. Fair enough - this resulted in $80 extra to drill two holes, which I was fine with and paid $220 in advance for the job. HOWEVER, then the Premier installer showed and could not install the hood due to significant adapters etc needed to match to existing (which was the whole point of the initial evaluation). Lowes staff tried to get Premier to determine how this would be fixed. Two managers could not get any Premier to respond in any meaningful way for over two weeks even though the case was "escalated" three times. This required daily calls which are difficult to get through and I spent probably 15 hours on the phone. Finally I went and got a quote from an outside installer and asked to Lowes to simply release me from Premier and I would use this alternative instead. Manager Vic Carrasco really was sympathetic to the mess Premier had caused and refunded my $ and covered the outside installer for my trouble. I also understood from another employee that Premier is a nightmare. I view this as an upper management failure that directly hurts customers as well as the hard working staff in the store. There appears to be no recourse with Premier (which are horrid by all accounts). I have a suggestion - fire Premier and the upper management staff who ensure they remain associated with Lowes (in spite of well documented problems) - and give the hard working sales folks and manager Vic a raise. edit: I searched the reviews for the word "installation" - and it is clear that many others have similar problems with appliances - will upper management finally stop patting themselves on the back and take action?!? read more

I had my van broken into while I was inside Lowes buying a drill bit. My van was parked 100 feet in front of their entrance door. The thieves got most of my tools and Lowes did not have their camera pointed at the the parking lot. Months before, my friends truck was also broken into at the same branch Lowes and when I went to the police station, the officer I spoke to said that Lowes have been having that problem and they are not doing anything about it. I ordered an oven online with a delivery date of May 26th - June 3rd. Lowe's never notified me of who was delivering my order! May 26th I called Lowe's to find out status of delivery. They finally gave me the name of "Estes" Aling with an order number. I went to the website for tracking. It said estimated delivery June 3rd. I checked the next day it said June 6th. I finally called Estes. Apparently my order did not make it to the terminal it said on tracking! Mind you this order moved within 24 hours approximately 20 miles! Looking at the scans and chain of custody something wasn't right! I called the terminal and was yold it never was received at San Fernando terminal even though the tracking website said it had!. I emailed because no one answered the phone. The next day a email received from "Dispatch Supervisor" was going to look into my order. I called and spoke to her. She had no idea and transfered me to another terminal! It is now 3 days later a dispatch person told me they were checking the cameras. Sometimes orders go to wrong truck. Anyone in their right mind would look at the chain of custody the first 25 hours and would know something is wrong! Basically some employee has made off with mu purchase. I go back to Lowe's CS. I was told no refund until my order is found! I asked how long do I have to wait for an order to be delivered (or not) before a refund will be issued. NO ANSWER the C S Rep said they need to follow procedure there is no timeline. Lowe's Customer Service didn't have an answer. I asked to speak with a Supervisor. That Young lady on the phone would not let me speak to a Supervisor! Imagine you paying 1200.00 dollars with no order! Lowe's will be refunding just a matter of time! Most insanely unprofessional, unsatisfactory experience I've ever had working with a vendor. I ordered 3 vanities 3 weeks ago from them & was told they'd be here by Tuesday. I called Monday to check in & make sure they'd be arriving in time & then was told they weren't coming. The individual on the phone was speaking in such a degrading tone to me that when I asked to speak to the manager he didn't want to go & get him because he didn't want to have to explain the story twice. So unprofessional! When the manager came on, he said there's nothing they can do about it. When i asked for a refund they also said they wouldn't give me one. This is absolutely insane. They say they see multiple models of the refrigerator I bought in stock, but that they actually have NONE & it'll take weeks for me to get it. I tried my best and was super patient. I am incredibly disappointed by my experience purchasing a washer and dryer from this location. It has been 3 weeks and I still don't have a working dryer. I have called more than 14 times. I have been hung up on 4 times. I have spent a total of more than 2 hours on hold. I was told they had both appliances in stock and they'd be delivered simultaneously. When they came, only the washer came. They came back 3 days later with the dryer. I made time both days in the midst of an incredibly hectic schedule. When the dryer came, the DSI Logistics guy said the line I paid for was wrong. He said Lowes doesn't have that size and asked me to get it from Home Depot then call Lowes to schedule a new service call. What a nightmare! I called 4 times and help and literally no one picked up. On Monday, someone finally answered and scheduled a service call. When the appointment was scheduled it was at the time of an important meeting. I had already taken time off to handle this, and I called DSI to inform them of the conflict, but they did not move the service time. I called back and a service call was scheduled for Thursday. I again made time. No one called or came. I just called AGAIN. A young man said he wasn't sure what happened, but to hold for a supervisor. After holding for 11 mins, when someone answered they immediately hung up! I called back and Adrianna answered. I let her know what just happened and she couldn't even be bothered to apologize . I let her know what happened TWICE before she finally said I am sorry that happened. Then, before finishing our scheduling conversation SHE HUNG UP ON ME mid sentence. You can't make this stuff up! If they fail to hook up this dryer again, I will just have them take it back and return my money. They clearly don't need it. It goes without saying that I recommend steering clear of Lowes for appliances. I have many recordings and screenshots of these calls and now feel obligated to submit them to corporate. How can service this bad be acceptable? As a business owner, I am sensitive to reviews, but I'd want someone to tell me if service at my establishment was this bad. I went to Lowe's after purchasing a washer and dryer from them online. All I needed was some help finding the right parts for installation. The guys at the appliance desk ignored me and the main guy working there couldn't even take a minute to talk to me as he was hovering over some folks who were browsing appliances. He generally gestured where the gas dryer hook up kits were. I got them, but they ended up being the wrong sizes. So now I have to have the installation team come out a THIRD TIME to my house to finish the installation, and I have to take even more time off of work. Lowe's customer service is awful. The men's restroom are plug up overfill with toilet paper and feces, the other stalls the toilet seats are splatter with feces. Paper dispensers broken, tolet seat paper covers are empty. Complained to various eployees, who stated the get complaints all the time. I stated what good is the complaints if nothing is done about it. Feces contain covid-19 virus and is unhealthy and a danger to shoppers. One cashier called the manager, who stated he would make a notation of the complaint, but didn't bother to send anyone in to fix the health hazards. It's the dirtiest restroom I have seen other that home depot. I definitely won't return to that lowes. The way I got treated by Lowes mid city store and the dispatch company after I ordered a refrigerator was totally unacceptable. I have never experienced this with any other company and here is why: - The delivery guys did not deliver the fridge on the due date. They left without calling my unit when they arrived. - They LIED saying they called. I even asked the building security and they said nobody called or talked to them. - There was NO way to reschedule the delivery as it is impossible to reach a human being on the phone when calling the Lowes store. - Today I found out they CANCELLED the rescheduled delivery WITHOUT telling me and without me asking to cancel it! As of today, more than 4 days after the scheduled delivery date, I still have NO idea when I am receiving the fridge. I have to keep chasing the company who does not answer the phone and when they did answer, the woman hung up on me when I asked her questions about the delivery time. As I could not speak to anyone about the delivery, we had to show up at the store in person twice! What company In the 21st Century leaves the customer who paid for an order no other way to contact them than coming physically to the store? At the store, after waiting an hour to speak to the right person, we were still not able to make our request go through, which was having the delivery before 5pm on Monday as our building does not allow deliveries after 5pm. I have been calling, trying to talk to someone and trying to reschedule the delivery for the right time for 4 days now. I would have never bought from them if I knew this was the treatment they give to customers. Every time they would say they can't control deliveries and didn't care about what was going to happen to my delivery. I probably talked to a dozen of people so far after calking them all day for 4 days and not one person was able to do anything. Today, I got a missed call at 8am from the store without leaving a voicemail! I called the store and the rude woman didn't tell me they cancelled my order, she just hung up on me. I had to call the dispatch company as Lowes hung on me and they said Lowes had CANCELLED the delivery that was scheduled for Monday! They cancelled without telling me! What an utter disappointment. I tried calling this store seven times at different times of the day over two days to get a hot water heater installed. Either no one picked up or I was transferred to another line where no one picked up. So I went into the store and no one was available for water heaters. I was bounced around, told to go to another area and eventually I got frustrated and spoke to a manager. The manager Noemi was very helpful and got me an associate to help. Thank you Noemi. This location charges $40 for a water heater assessment while the Hawthorne location does not. I paid it and then received a call from Lowes that the job is too difficult for the plumber! I have had to go to Lowe's at least 8 times in the past two weeks due to remodeling my home. Each time I have went it's been a terrible experience. Me not knowing anything about home improvement materials was hoping that someone at the store could help point me in the right direction. Only giving one star because the delivery men were always very nice. They were always just as in the dark as I was. Short and sweet...when working with these people just think "anything that can go wrong, will go wrong...and then some." Here's why if you are curious beyond that: I ordered all my new kitchen appliances through them, within a 30 day period, and spent A LOT of money through them. Besides them constantly messing up the delivery times, like calling me and saying they were at my door with something without any prior warning, call or text, and I said okay " hold on I'll be there in 15 minutes" because I'd have to leave work, and they told me they couldn't wait and then that I would have to reschedule. So I did, and they told me (this happened multiple times with multiple appliances, delivered incorrectly and then had to re call) "of course we will give you a confirmation call the night before" I get a call and again I am at work so I can't answer. Later I can't get ahold of anyone after calling every department for 20 minutes, and I couldn't leave a message anywhere. Firstly they delivered the wrong refrigerator to my house one day, I say "no this is incorrect" and show them the model number I wanted. They next week they come back (after painstaking scheduling) and alas, they literally deliver the exact same fridge, but won't take the other one until they can order the correct one. Their excuse? "We didn't have the fridge you wanted ln stock at the moment. ?????? So they came and did the same job wrong, twice. And it's been a week and half later and now I can't even get ahold of anyone to figure all of this out. They delivered my stove across town to somewhere I didn't even know. And when I asked what the status was on that days later no one knew what was happening. I got a notification saying it had been delivered...like where? Not to my house. I cancelled all of my appliances through them. All I want is to get refunded, and get their appliance out of my living room and never deal with this company again. Ordered 3 items online for pickup in the store. Over an hour and not ready so I went in person. Actual store was pretty empty but the customer service line was long. Lots of employees doing nothing. I picked up the three items I'd attempted to order for pick up and then proceeded to check out. While walking up to a self-check out machine, I asked the cashier overseeing the area if there was some way to get an online order for pick up cancelled. I showed her the order and she apologized for the slow service. She waived down the head cashier to help me. This cashier asked that I follow her across the store- through the busy line of customer's waiting at the only busy counter in the store. No problem. She then had a problem with ringing up my items and stopping he other order. There was a guy sitting next to her- doing nothing- that she finally broke down and asked. It was clear that she did not want to ask for his help but when she did, he told me that some item on my purchase list was "being ordered." I was rightfully confused because I'd picked up the exact three items from the plumbing isle that I'd ordered online. When I asked if he could just cancel that order and ring up my items so I could be on my way, he repeated that the item was "being ordered" like a robot. Huh? I explained that I had the same items from my list, why did it matter. He told me that I was being "hostile" and then told me that I needed to go get in another line? WHUH? I was not hostile- had not raised my voice nor spoken to him rudely in any way. I blinked because I was confused. The cashier who was originally helping me shot me a look that expressed that she was sorry. " Can you cancel my other order?" Once again dude said I was hostile. Whew. Not sure if he was emotionally stunted in some way and did not understood what that word means or if was just a jerk who had no business in customer service- or some combination of the two. I then went BACK to the original self-checkout line- unsure if my original order was actually cancelled- AFTER wasting another 20 minutes- and then the line was LONG. Luckily the nice cashier who was originally helping me, rushed over, opened another register and helped me out. She apologized and I asked if I had seemed "hostile." She said "no" in a way that let me know she couldn't say more without fear of losing her job. Not sure what that was about but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth: not only was my online order NEVER fulfilled, I was spoken to rudely by a male cashier who might think all women are supposed to smile not matter what, I had to wait in way too many lines for no real reason AND I will still have to likely call my credit card company to make sure I wasn't still charged. if I could give Lowe's in Torrance a zero, I would. About 2-3 years ago I purchased redwood for my long fence around the house. I paid a lot of money for the redwood, and this fence was installed by a company that works with Lowe's. The wood started losing its redwood color and I was surprised that redwood would do that, but I called three different companies for a quote to restore the original colors. All three contractors told me that I did not get redwood, but rather pine or some other, much cheaper wood, which is why the colors faded so quickly. The person that was helping me during the original purchase was Daniel Munoz, employee for over 20 years. After I found out that I got the wrong wood installed, I called him a couple of times and left voice mails. Silence. I then sent him 4-5 emails, with photos of the fence and all relevant info, asking for resolution or to have someone come and have a look at the wood. Crickets. I then called Lowe's and after being on hold for 30 minutes, got a lady who rudely told me that Lowe's does not sell any other wood than redwood. So I decided to go to Lowe's to see Daniel Munoz. Took about 15 minutes to find a human being that worked there and this lady told me she would find someone to help me. She never came bak and I waited 30 minutes. Having wasted more time there, I left. I sent several more emails to Daniel, and no reply at all from him. This place was contracted to do a job and they did not. They sent cheap wood while collecting money for redwood and now they are just blowing me off, unmotivated to resolve this issue. This is clear theft on Lowe's part and now they have no decency to revert to a customer. The employees are untrained, rude and could not care less about any customers. I will never set a foot into this or any other Lowe's in my life and I am thankful that I have an alternative in Home Depot. I used to LOVE this Lowes and the staff. I have been going here for the past 6 years. They have always been helpful. But this past experience was the worst, EVER. EXPECT POOR service here from Yesenia Dominguez and her staff. We pulled into the parking lot ( Verteran Parking spot since both my husband and I are Veterans) and saw a sign saying, "$4 for 10". We loaded 10 bags on the cart. Isabel, the cashier, said that the price is actually 4 for $10. We told her about the sign. We asked to speak with a manager so they could correct it. A lady, who refused to give us her name, came over with an attitude and the advertisement. She showed us the advertisement, which we stated the sign is advertising something different. My husband began to explain that he is a manager, but she cut him off by saying "I don't care that you are a manager" and then walked away. She had the cashier call the Assistant Manager. The lady, who we were told is Yesenia, had taken off her name badge and walked off while we waited. Eventually Yesenia Dominguez (another Yesenia) came over holding the same advertisement and stating the same thing as the previous rude Yesenia. We showed her the photo of how they have it advertised outside of their store along with the words "Price Match Guaranteed". Yesenia D. began to argue that it didn't matter what their sign showed or how we interpret the sign, that the advertisement in the flier is the true price. My husband asked to speak with her supervisor, which she called her supervisor. Yesenia hung up the phone and said to us, "Okay, we'll do it". No apology from her for her or her staffs demeanor. It took us about 15 minutes to load the mulch and then we went nextdoor to Starbucks. We arrived back to our truck about 30 minutes later, only to find that the signs were still up. My dryer broke and went to Lowe's to buy a new one. It was Tues 5/14/19, 5pm. As stressful as it is choosing the right one, my gf and I finally decided on one. We asked the gentleman working the section for help, and he said, " I won't be helping you anytime soon". What? The area was empty! And where did he get his customer service training at? NOBODY and I mean NOBODY at this store answers a phone. Doesn't matter what department you try to reach or even if you try the operator no one will answer. I tried calling for over an hour and it just rings and rings. I finally called the central customer care line only to be told that she has to contact store to get my delivery updated. She also called and could not get anyone so escalated. What kind of customer service is this?!? If I order thousands of dollars in appliances from you I expect you guys to be able to answer a phone when I call to get it delivered. Get your sh*t together Lowes! read more

AVOID THIS LOWES!! I purchased a leaf blower for my dad for Father's Day and when I went to pick it up they asked for an ID, I left the house without my wallet. But the email I got says when picking up your item show this email OR ID. I showed them the email and order details on my phone and they refused to give me my item. When I got home to get my ID I got a notification saying my order has been cancelled. I didn't cancel my order or give them authorization to do so. This lowes is very unprofessional and rude. The guy I spoke with at the store didn't provide any good customer service and he seemed annoyed and off putting. I'm going to let my people know not to give this place any service, they don't deserve our hard earned money. I've been on hold for half an hour now and I'm sure they aren't going to pick up. If I could give this place no stars I would do so. I'm going to take my business to Home Depot, they actually know how to treat there customers well. Again AVOID this LOWES. read more
