It would have been 5 Stars based on our first visit but our second visit was disappointing due to what appeared to be an "off day". We ordered the same meals as the first time we visited but the portion for my Assorted Vegetables & Chicken was smaller and some vegetables weren't included this time. Also, the amount of shrimp was less in the Golden Braised Shrimp. We also ordered Beef Lo Mein. It's a small, colorful spot & there aren't a lot of tables but they seem to have a popular Take-Out business. Lucky Chopsticks strives for good food at a good value & that's much appreciated but while everything tasted good & fresh consistency is also important. We'll go back at some point & hope our first visit wasn't the anomaly. From the high ratings we'll probably be lucky that things are back on track.

Are you feeling lucky? Try your luck at Lucky Chopsticks. Tiny, cozy, hole in the wall - all apropos for this Chinese eatery. A miniscule dining area accommodating seating for 10, Lucky Chopsticks serves stir-fried comfort food. Even catering towards the night owls, as the restaurant is open till 2am Thurs - Sat. The 2 things that gave me the impetus to visit for the first time - Lunch Specials & Secret Menu items. Lunch Specials are self-explanatory, whereas Lucky Chopsticks has Orange Chicken Fries & Lucky Shaken Beef Noodles, aware to those in the know (or read reviews/check out pics & vids). Not much of a fries guy, I had to have a go with the Lucky Shaken Beef Noodles. Lucky Shaken Beef Noodles- Tender cuts of succulent beef, crunchy bell peppers, onions & mushrooms, paired with a generous amount of al dente noodles. Loved it! This shouldn't be a secret, for everyone should know about these noodles. Highly recommend. Lunch Specials (Set A includes entree w/ steamed or fried rice, Set B includes entree w/ steamed or fried rice & chow mein. Additional upgrade includes soup, egg roll & drink)- Mushroom chicken, garlic beef & broccoli beef. All good, save for the garlic beef, which was a bit lacking in portions. Cooked fresh to order, the lunch specials were packed securely in their containers, piping hot. If that wasn't enough food, already, Lucky Chopsticks had a Lunar New Year scratcher promotion. Every customer received a scratch off card, and mine scored a free hot & sour soup. True to it's name, the soup was quite sour, each spoonful warm & comforting like a snug blanket. Service was excellent. The friendly & hospitable staff greeted me with kindness, and the wait wasn't very long. As previously mentioned, seating is only available for 10 customers, so unless you're lucky to arrive during a lull in activity, and can snag a table, take out is recommended. Lucky Chopsticks is located behind IHOP, with plenty of parking available. Get lucky, and eat well at Lucky Chopsticks. Their Chinese food is on point, inexpensive, and can be had late night. I'm looking forward to coming back, and perhaps ordering their Secret Orange Chicken Fries, to go along with another round of their Lucky Shaken Beef Noodles and a couple Lunch Specials. I know I'll be eating well with a full tummy, afterwards.

Lucky Chopsticks is a local, hole-in-the-wall gem I recently added to my regular grub spots. The food is prepared fresh, the service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are affordable. Their menu offers many classic Chinese dishes, appetizers, and set meals, depending on party size (family, individual, or couple). There are excellent value combos for the quality and portions. My recent visits have been for the lunch combo sets. My go-to is Set A, which includes rice or fried rice. For a couple of bucks more, you can upgrade to include soup, an egg roll, and a canned drink or water. I enjoyed the orange beef and kung pao chicken set lunches. Both were made to order. I also enjoyed the sweet-and-sour soup, while the egg flower soup was okay. I'm looking forward to trying more items here, such as Mongolian beef, shaken beef noodles, and wor wonton soup. The dining area has a few tables with a relaxed vibe. They also offer takeout, delivery, and party trays. You can order through the website and by phone. They accept CC, cash, and Apple Pay. They are also open late 'til 2 am (Thurs to Sat) for all you night owls.

Tried Lucky Chopsticks and honestly everything was tasty. They were running a red envelope promo -- spend $65 and you get a red envelope with a chance to win a gift card, which was a fun surprise. We ordered the cream cheese fried wontons (super crispy), their famous orange chicken fries (so good and definitely worth the hype), and the Lucky Shaken Beef Noodles. Everything came out hot and full of flavor, and it felt way less greasy than a lot of other Chinese food spots, which I really appreciated. Portions were solid, prices felt fair, and the food just hit the spot without feeling heavy. If you're in the area and craving Chinese food, this place is definitely worth checking out. I'd come back again for sure.

Found a new gem just a few minutes from where we live. Decided to give them a try from the pics and menu prices we saw here on yelp. Glad to see we found a new spot we will definitely be back to. First off, the staff were very friendly and the restaurant is nice and clean. If you have a big party, you probably should order take out though. You can seat about 10 people here if there are no others parties here. With that aside, food was really good. Very tasty and cooked fresh. It was also served really quickly. We ordered shaken beef noodles, Mongolian beef, lemon chicken, orange chicken fries, stir fried string beans, and a bowl of rice. Everything was delicious and the orange chicken fries were a nice find. Something very unique to try. Just note the bowl of rice was a plate of rice so much more than we expected. All-in all, great place to keep on your regular list. Prices very reasonable and they open pretty late which we love. Come give them a try.

Same comfort chinese food you'll get from the other location! Same superb service and consistent taste! This location is definitely smaller as there are only 4-5 tables. We order the same $39.99 feast plus our fave add ons! The 39.99 dinner menu includes Egg flower soup 4 veggie egg rolls Chowmein 2 entrees- still got the orange chicken and string bean chicken Then we ordered the broccoli beef and honey walnut shrimp! Our drinks came free with the raffle as we got 6- which get you a gingerbread bottle! One Thai tea and one Thai green tea! We love lucky chopsticks and we will definitely be ordering for the holidays!

Don't believe all the hype or the food collabs. Maybe I came in with high expectations but at the end of the day, taste doesn't lie. For me, this is a fair 3-star experience overall. A big part of that rating comes down to inconsistency. Some dishes were decent, while others completely missed the mark. The hot and sour soup was honestly terrible. By far, the worst dish. It was so bad. The fried rice lacked a whole lot of flavor it needed a lot to bring it to life. Kinda same issue with the chow mein, which was pretty bland. The egg rolls were okay, but the filling had a slightly fishy taste that threw me off. The orange chicken was pretty good and fairly flavorful just not super amazing. Now, the standout: the jalapeño beef. This dish saved the experience. It was packed with flavor and easily a 5+ on its own. Without it, this probably would've been a 1 or 2 star review. At the end of the day, this is just my honest take. Everyone's taste is different but personally, I don't think I'll be coming back. And, if you're having second thoughts I'd say listen and order your Chinese elsewhere or you'll be displeased coming here like me.

Halloween Season has started at Lucky Chopsticks and it's soo much FUN! Did you know that Lucky Chopsticks has Orange Chicken Fries and it's everything you imagine it to be! The key is to eat it hot and fresh! It's seasoned French Fries on the bottom and generous portion of freshly prepared orange chicken on top where the chicken is still crispy and the sauce is tangy sweet, then topped with mozzarella cheese, spicy mayo and scallions! The girl behind the counter was so sweet, try this new thai tea drink i prepared for Halloween. OMG! So darn cute! She made Labubu jellies to put on top of Thai Iced Tea! I had a rough day honestly and this brightened up my night. I indulged in my orange chicken fries and Labubu Thai Ice at 9:15pm because it's one of the few spots that closes at 11am. Give this family owned Chinese Spot some LOVE!

First time here visiting after influenced by TikTok orange chicken fries. Serve was slow as I believe there was only 1 person at the counter. We observed lots of Uber Eats orders getting picked up. The restaurant has exactly 4 tables. 1 table seats 4, 3 tables seat 2. The bathroom is unisex and clean. Food: orange chicken fries were decent. Chicken was crispy but fries were not. Spice level was 2 of 10. Eggplant Szechuan was flavorful but oily. Rice was a little dry but I usually prefer sticky steamed rice. Overall value was fair. I suggest the fries get battered in the same way the chicken is done. I would comeback again and try something different.

Found this place with by a google maps recommendation. Loved the food, grabbed carry out and ordered the Mongolian beef, chicken fried rice, and chicken chow fun. Portion sizes were great for the price and were able to feed 4 people easily! Service was nice and fast ordered at the front and got my food in a matter of 10-12 minutes. Place is fairly small but its a great hole in the wall spot with really good food. Definitely recommend this place! read more

I came here with my girl friend because she had been telling me how good the food is. They have a new years promotion right now where you get scratchers for potential free food with a certain amount of purchase. We tried so many dishes but my favorite was the lemon chicken and the kung pow shrimp. Very juicy chicken and the sauce was perfectly tangy and sweet. Had the night off and I wanted to try the orange chicken fries that I did not have to wait too long to eat when I got take out. When I got home it looked just as good as the first time I had it. The fries weren't too soggy, the chicken tasted good, and the sauces and cheese went together well. I placed my order through Grubhub thinking I was being efficient -- pickup has to be faster than delivery, right? Honestly... I was probably still right because when I walked in, the place was PACKED. And people were still pouring in. My order was scheduled for 9:11pm. I arrived at 9:30pm (yes, I know, I was late ). Even so, it wasn't quite ready yet. But before I could even open my mouth to ask about it, Linda swooped in like a customer service superhero, apologized for the delay, and handed me a free drink. Now that is how you handle a busy night. I left happy, drink in hand, and when I got home to enjoy the fruits of my "labor" (aka driving to pick it up), the food was delicious -- and that free drink? This place is totally a hidden gem in cypress. Yesterday we were looking for dinner later at night and this was the only place that was open and MAN, am I glad it was. We got the cream cheese rangoons and the jalapeño beef. The beef was SO tender, seriously like melt in your mouth tender, and the brown sauce was savory and spicy but not too spicy. The rangoons were delicious as well! Finally, the portions were SO generous, like the lg serving of jalapeño beef was probably a bit over 2lbs of food it was a LOT. And we got like 10 rangoons? I'm not 100% sure on the count but there were a bunch and all of it for $25 with tip! read more

Forgot to give a review yesterday. I just needed to get out my house for a little bit. I decided to go to Lucky Chopsticks. Sit down and enjoy my food. This is my second time at this food place. First let me tell you. The service was 10 out of 10 the food 10 out of 10. They give you big portions. It was a great experience. I'll definitely come back and refer other. As I was referred by TikTok . The food I highly recommend I got the Orange chicken French fries was amazing . I also got the magnolian beef another good dish. Pre ordered over the phone they said 20 mins and when my daughter got there 30 minutes later, they're just barely making the food. And she waited a long time. Please don't Hope up the food and services that's not true. Very disappointed with this place and will never order from this place. Food and their drinks give it 1 star. I had to come here after seeing this place all over my TikTok FYP and let me tell you--the hype is 100% real. You won't find these on the printed menu, but you have to ask for the secret menu Shaken Beef Noodles and the Orange Chicken Fried Rice. Lucky Chopsticks is our new favorite place to eat authentic Chinese food. It is a Family owned business with the most friendly staff! My mom and I get the 2 people menu deal which is 27.99. (See photos for details) so much food tastes delicious too. They don't use a lot of oil which we really love. And they have buy one get one half off on their drinks. Was in the mood for some good Chinese food after knott's Betry Farm but since it was late, nothing was open. Thankfully we strolled past Lucky Chopsticks which was open till 2AM! We came in and were greeted and sat immediately! The service was amazing and they were extremely kind as well as friendly! The Ambiance felt very cozy and relaxed as if I was hanging out at a friends house! They served our food fast and extremely tasty!! I was genuinely impressed with this restaurant today. The food was really good fresh, flavorful, and honestly better than many places charging twice the price. The service was just as impressive. Even in a time when everything has gotten so expensive, they're offering prices that are surprisingly affordable without cutting corners. I love this place! Best Chinese food in Cypress hands-down! I'm from New York and nothing holds a candle to them! Really hard to find good Chinese food out here but they never miss! Fried rice is awesome the beef and broccoli or momgolian beef can't go wrong! and the portions are huge. I'm a big guy and I never finish unless I'm really committed lol Staff is awesome.
