This is a classic Asian restaurant. It's got dated furniture and is quiet. I went for lunch around 11-12. The service was my favorite part of it. I loved my waiter, she was nice and tried her best for being the only waiter there. She asked me how I was doing, and The food was delivered quickly, within 15 minutes. I got wonton soup which was my favorite. I didn't care for the chicken aftertaste as much but the price makes it okay. It was $12 bucks.

    Mongolian spicy beef. Delish! 5/5

Hits and misses. Definitely dependent on which dishes. Tried this restaurant via Uber eats. The hits, the spring rolls and pork egg rolls were very good. The Mongolian beef is also very delicious. Good flavoring, spicy (you can determine spice level). The shrimp and chicken LOOK good, key word look. Chicken was super bland...I know? How can it look like that but have no flavor? I can't explain how but it is so. The shrimp also looked delicious, not over cooked and I ordered it with added veggies. This one had flavor, but very off flavor...like not good. So unfortunately, we ended up chucking these two dishes after trying them several times. All else was good.

This place is alright... Nothing too special, I'm so far pretty disappointed with the Vietnamese food scene in MN or may be its because I'm broke and never managed to eat anywhere decent Order h tiu xào and fresh spring rolls for ~15 bucks. The stir fry noodles were a bit too oily for me. The rolls were humongous, look really sad imo.. The owners were very kind so that's why this place get 4 stars (3.5++ maybe)

I want to love this place more than I actually do...darn it! This place is super close to my office on the West Bank, right next to Viking Bar. I first tried this place when I got take out. Food is cheap and it's on bitesquad, but they also do their own delivery for cheap too! I got their vietnamese bun (rice noodle salad), and it was DELISH! So much food at a great price point. That experience gets a 4.5/5. I went back with coworkers for the lunch buffet, and that's where the 3 came in. The buffet was pretty picked over, pretty average, and very basic Chinese food. I was more excited for some Vietnamese options, but they had fallen into the orange chicken rabbit hole. Things weren't overly flavorful or visually appealing. I went back a third time and just ordered off the menu for lunch instead of doing buffet. I got bun again, and it was good again! Coworkers got noodles and stir fry and appetizers. The stir fry got good remarks, but the egg rolls were greasy and hard. So I guess I recommend ordering Vietnamese dishes off the menu rather than doing buffet. Decor is kitschy and hilarious (murals of dogs and fish on the tables), so the atmosphere is fun and random. If you're near the West Bank regularly and want yummy Vietnamese, I do recomment this place!

Great family owned buffet. Excellent food and excellent staff. It's nice to see a buffet where customer service still exists.

Forgot to mention that this is an awful place to go on Saturday nights as they do banquets and don't have much time for other diners.

In…read morere-reading my reviews, I stand by everything I've said about the excellent consistent quality of the food, the service, and how much I enjoy coming to this restaurant. I truly hope they are around longer than I am. I would hate to find out this was one of the choices no longer available to us. Please read my previous reviews for a more inclusive view; this review focuses only on their lobster. I had previously mentioned that they prices of their lobsters (I love the version with black bean sauce) have gone up tremendously. While true, there seems to have been a subtle change in their pricing strategy. Previously (as of before the pandemic), the lobster was priced by the pound, which is the conventional way of doing it. However, they seem to have two lobster prices. The first one is called "Big Lobster" and they say it's between 2 and 2 and half pounds per lobster. The price of that (as of this review) is $56 dollars, or $28 per pound. That's not really a bad price at all. It's expensive, but reasonable. The other lobster is called "Live Lobster" and is priced $10 less at $46. So the real question is how much does this second version weigh? I ordered the Big Lobster, but they said they were out of it. I asked the weight of the "Live Lobster" but I didn't really get a straight answer, but he seemed to say "about two pounds" which doesn't really make sense because that's the price of the larger, more expensive lobster. But I decided to go for it anyway. As I stated in my last review, I'm guessing this lobster is at least two pounds, based on many years of eating lobster. For this review, I had ChatGPT translate the the Chinese on the menu, thinking it was secret code for "if you can read Chinese, save ten dollars by ordering this version" but AI says the Chinese means "lobster" so if you spoke Chinese, you'd still be mystified. So my recommendation is order the version that is ten dollars cheaper and you may (or may not) be paying $23 a pound. Price aside, I love this version of lobster and it is certainly a better deal than what you would pay at an American style seafood or steak restaurant in the Twin Cities.

In true family-style fashion we got plenty of dishes to share: some appetizers and some "main dishes" as well. The Xiao long bao and beef burrito are great starters. I enjoyed the wontons in chili oil, but wish they would've been spicy - we added our own chili oil/sauce. The pork belly fried rice and Shanxi shaved noodles were both fantastic. Both great portion sizes for main dishes with plenty to take home if needed. The restaurant is large and spacious nestled in a strip mall, and the service was fantastic. We ordered a the fried dumplings and the sesame balls. Both were absolutely delectable, best of each I've had in my life. The sesame balls had a crispy sesame coated exterior with a sticky bun interior and sweet bean filling. The fried dumplings were perfectly cooked to delicate perfection and were accompanied by a soy sauce with freshly minced garlic. Those didn't last 2 minutes on the table. We ordered the twice cooked pork and stirfry lamb as entrees and, as other reviews have said, the portions were generous. As for the the meats, they were thinly sliced, tender, and cooked to perfection. The spice level was right on point, not enough to numb your tastebuds but surly will leave you with clear sinuses. The spice contributed significantly to the succulent flavors found in each dish. Each entree comes with a bowl of buttery white rice. As a man of high caloric intake I was very satisfied with this establishment's CPD factor. As a genuine touch, there is heartfelt apology for rising prices due to rising ingredient cost and bird flu found at the bottom of each menu. 10/10 will eat again.

I ordered the Stir Fry Spicy Beef, Mapo Tofu, and the Pork Belly. Everything was tasty and have no complaints as far as the actual flavors. I do think that the Mapo Tofu should always be soft tofu rather than firm, but that's just a personal preference. The beef was plentiful and extra tender and the pork belly was perfectly melt-in-your-mouth, so good that I felt like I had to ration it throughout the next few meals. I do wish it came with more rice. I ordered three sides and only got one box of rice. I was hoping to have at least two so I can eat it for several days. However, to end on a positive note, when I walked in to pick up my order, the woman (owner possibly) was incredibly friendly and spoke Mandarin to me. She was welcoming, funny, and we briefly argued how spicy food should really be for it to be enjoyable. "The spicier the better," me thinks. Come show these guys some love!

The potstickers were awesome but given the name of the place I was surprised that the real standouts were the other dishes. The ribeye was perfectly marinated and tender, tossed with a variety of vegetables and stir-fried noodles. The wings were terrific and the General Tso's was perfect. The server was very friendly and informative, even joked around with us a little. It didn't look like reservations were needed, except maybe on busy days like Mother's Day. The food was amazing. Potstickers were, of course, super good, but so was everything else. Portions were generous. I got the pork belly fried rice and I think I have enough leftovers for another three or four meals. There is a small parking lot in back, but you have to walk around the building to get to the door. I would say it is not handicapped friendly. If you park in back it would be hard to get to the door unless you are able to make it half way around the block. If you park in front it is just street parking. My dad uses a walker and we were lucky enough to get a spot right in front of the restaurant, anything else would have been a problem. Spacing inside the restaurant is pretty tight as well. Once dad sat down they had to take his walker into the back because there was no room in the seating area. We were packed in pretty tightly and very close to the table next to us. Overall, delicious food! We will be back!
