    Beef w/string beans. Sooo good
    Tara M.

So Lucky has become my go-to Chinese takeout. So good. They have a 2 for 25.50 combo for 2 people. Awesome. Alot of food. Tonite, I got their Beef with string beans which is my 2nd time getting them. Delicious and not glurpy, meat was super tender. I did order steamed veggie dumplings, and I won't do that again. So doughy, tough and dry..ick. filling was also nothing to write home about. My friend got their ol stand by general tso chicken. Lol which was also crunchy and saucy, chicken was tender. Their soups are still their shining stars, along with their dinners. Just don't order dumplings. Maybe it was off day who knows, but definitely ick. So if you're looking for a cheap quick lunch or dinner, it's definitely worth many check-ins.

We had General Tso's chicken, pork lo mein, and pork egg rolls. General Tso's was very tasty. Egg rolls were crispy, and lo mein flavorful. Above average for take out chinese food!

This is my local Chinese Restaurant. I am amazed-- they seemed not to care that they lost my business. Today I called at 3:15 to order 3 lunch specials. I was driving and had to wait until I got home to call... Therefore, I couldn't call before 3pm. The girl on the phone wouldn't take my order! I never had this issue before (when the owner was there but) but the girl and the cook decided they'd rather make an issue of the time than take my order! They didn't care one iota that, as I hung up, I'd decided I was taking my business to another, really much better, Chinese Restaurant! Now they've lost not only my business but also the business of the friends with whom I was eating lunch. There are scores of Chinese restaurants around here, and since I no longer have an allegiance to Lucky Star, I'm taking my business elsewhere. Believe me their food's not good enough to worry about leaving them. Their food is greasy, unimaginative and many times downright inedible! Goodbye Lucky Star!

The sauce had just enough numbing warmth without overpowering the dish, and every bite was incredibly satisfying. The texture combination of silky wrappers and bold sauce made it an unforgettable starter. Beyond the appetizer, the restaurant offered a warm atmosphere and attentive service that made the dining experience even better. The presentation was thoughtful, portions were generous, and the flavors tasted authentic and carefully prepared. If you enjoy dishes with a little spice and a lot of flavor, the wontons in chili oil are absolutely worth ordering. I would definitely come back just for them.

When it comes to food, I never judge a burger by its bun, so thanks to Yelp for helping me find it. The sign in the window says "Asian fusion" which usually sends me running as it's often a cop-out label for bad mixed-up Asian cooking, but this is authentic y'all, meaning true-to-tradition dishes with a sometimes more contemporary application of ingredients or flavors. The "fusion" part must come from the fact that they have a small Taiwanese section as well as the main Szechuan/Sichuan menu, alongside a few familiar Chinese-American favorites like sesame chicken or broccoli x protein, so you can get that here too. Everything we ordered was phenomenal! Great flavors, generous portions, cooked with confidence and finesse. Compliments to the kitchen - they really know what they're doing. Not a single dish was lacking. They even put out peanuts at the start and serve fresh orange slices at the end of the meal. Very old school. We loved it all: * Salt & white pepper crispy chicken ("Taiwanese specialty") - well-battered and flavored, and perfectly crispy * Taiwanese minced pork rice * Chicken red curry - fabulous, with fresh vegetables and just the right balance of spice * Golden dish (fish) - very special dish in a salted duck egg yolk batter * Beef chow fun * Marinated crispy duck Wish I lived closer, but will definitely come back when we are in the area. Best of the best - very highly recommended!

Then there is no real place to wait, bar is packed with others waiting. Now the positives. Finally seated the service was very good and more importantly the food was the upscale Chinese advertised. Two of us ordered the Whole Crispy Red Snapper which our server suggested ordering just one and sharing. We ordered two but it was huge. Duck Lo Mein was also plentiful and the Honey Miso Salmon was a dish not found in most other Chinese restaurants. Prices are high compared to other Chinese places but not compared to other upscale restaurants.

They have definitely perfected the perfect balance for American Chinese food and fine dining. The portions are huge, the service is quick and the food tastes GREAT! We had so many leftovers and for all of this food it was less than $90 a person. In the future, I would have gone with a larger group to split the large portions better. I really loved their skewered chicken and steak, egg corn chicken soup was PHENOMENAL. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of gluten free options on the menu as well. Will be back!

I was here on a Tuesday, so it was very slow, there was only one woman running the front of the house. But, they had some takeout orders going out every so often. That being said, the food is really yummy! I was here with my mom and we each had a hot and sour soup. It was fine, but when you add some of the side of black vinegar and picketed ginger... it was very tasty! We shared the dan dan noodles which were delicious! We also had the crab and pork soup dumplings which were hot and tasty. Finally, we split the stir fries beef filet with scallions and miso which was great! The beef was really tender and the s asinine was spot on. This is a great place to come when you want good food with no frills.

The restaurant is big, with one wall donning a mural of white flowers and the opposite wall holding decorative windows and decorations. The special drinks station can be seen near the front, a little bok choy statue propped up on the counter. A flat screen TV can also be seen mounted to one of the restaurant's dividers as well, with two others mounted on the back walls too. We ordered the following: S11- Wontons in Chili Oil- we didn't order this but it was a happy accident order. It turned out the server misheard us and ordered this instead of the dumplings. So, we said no problem and ordered the steamed dumplings, as well. We ended up liking the wontons. S12- Steamed dumplings 6 pieces- this was a slight disappointment in that the dumpling skin was the same as the wonton skin. I was expecting it to be a bit doughier and thick. Instead, it was thin. The dumpling was pretty good and spicy but I was expecting the wrap to be different. We got swayed when we saw it on their tv screen and was expecting it to be thicker. H17- spicy pot with lotus root, mushrooms, tripe, shrimp, ham, potatoes with sesame. There weren't any lotus roots in there. This was very spicy. Hubs liked it a lot and was happy that there were plenty of tripe for him to have. V1- mapo tofu with minced pork- this was pretty tasty and spicy F8- Typhoon Fish Fillet- I always wanted to try this style of fish, so the minute I saw it, I knew I had to get it. Hubs didn't realize that it was fried fish and we didn't know how it was prepared. It's fish fillets and heavily seasoned mixed with onions, shallots, salt and pepper, spicy pepper. According to him, it was heavenly seasoned. LOL. We let the server be aware of peanut allergy and she said that we could order anything we wanted and they won't add peanuts to it. Originally, we were going to go to another restaurant but that was closed for that day. Glad that place was closed and we came here! Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu!
