Estay away from her!!! She doesn't know what respect for others means
    Melissa M.

Chrisant the cashier harassed (racial profiling )my young daughter today. Customer for 22 years of this branch since the name was Albertsons and will be still coming even after what happened today (Mexican Mother's DAY). My daughter stopped by after school to buy a bouquet for Me, she took 2 and took them directly to the self-check to see which was the one that met her affordability she couldn't afford the one she wanted so she called her dad so he could send money to her while she was doing that Chrisant/Crisann start harassing her by saying rudely and disrespectfully if she didn't have enough money if she was gonna pay and the last thing if she doesn't gonna buy the flowers, put them down and leave!! My daughter got home crying and said she felt humiliated by this person so I went to the store ask for her to explain why she did that to my daughter and denied everything my daughter said that she had ever taken her off her locked herself in the office and didn't affront the situation. This store has to implement better training or hire more professional and respectful staff. Christians need to work on respect for others and have the integrity to take accountability for their actions. I hope she recognizes what she did and asks my daughter for an apology and not do that to others what she did. Speaking with other customers from this store about this situation 2 people encounter the same treatment from this lady. The manager Sheryl took her time to confront the situation but couldn't make her come to talk about the situation or perhaps apologize for the harassment she ply to my daughter. She offered a $10 gift card which of course I didn't take, all I wanted to ask for was RESPECT!!!

California grown red cherries $1.99 a pound, the lowest price of any major supermarket chain so far this season

Don't come here too often as Sprouts, Safeway, Trader Joe, Smart & Final, and Target closer to my house. So there has to be something special on sale for me to hop in my car and drive 2.2 miles to this place. Lived in the area from 1979 to 1988, before moving to the Las Palmas Park area. Lucky's was here back then, but recently years they've completely remodeled the store. Gone are the small, crowded aisles, dim lighting and dusty floors. Large aisles, bright lighting, sparking clean floors. They even have windows in the walls to lighten things up. Came here during the senior hours Tuesday and Thursday 6am-9am, so that us geezers don't have to risk their lives with the crowds during the coronavirus pandemic. Right outside the only entrance and exit is a store employee, wearing a mask, and gloves, sanitizing the shopping cart handles with spray and paper towel. Santa Clara county ordinance requires all customers to wear masks, 6 feet social distancing, with no outside bags permitted. Today I get 4 ears of corn for 88 cents -yeah the husks look raggedy, but the corn inside the husk looks and tastes great several days from now after being refrigerated. Just like humans, you can't tell by looks -why do you think my wife married me in 2003? It wasn't for looks! Stock up on previous day unsold stock, with price of 6 ounce Driscoll blackberries reduced from $3.99 to 99 cents. Get three of those, but should have bought double that, as they lasted several days in the fridge. Get 4 pounds of cherries at $1.99 a pound with residential only mailed coupon, the lowest price of any major supermarket chain so far this season. And these are high quality dark ripened cherries. Yelp friend Kaliko was telling me that in Honolulu, Costco was selling red cherries at $8.99 for 2 pounds. One of the few advantages to living in CA compared to Hawaii! Finally, get the last salmon fillet at $5.99 a pound. Only problem is that you have to buy the full fillet, and that's 3.61 pounds. Apparently they don't restock new fish until about midday, after senior hours. You know what the wife and I are going to be eating the next 3 nights for dinner! Hoarders are still cleaning out the shelves of toilet paper, paper towels, and hand sanitizer, as none left, three months into the pandemic. Try to leave out the second entrance, which is closed. This is contrary to CDC guidelines, where people are supposed to enter one entrance and exit through a second entrance, so as to maintain social distancing and not to pass each other during the pandemic. I guess it is for security purposes, where the person cleaning the cart handles also doubles as tackling shoplifters to the ground, as this is the sketchy part of town.

First time visiting this Lucky California store and I have to say, this one seems to be on the smaller size. It felt really cramped shopping here, likely because everything seemed to close to one another, due to the small store size and space. Also, the place in the front where they store the shopping carts definitely could use an upgrade. I liked that they had hand baskets here for customers to use. They only had 1 register open here and the line was long. They also had self check outs, but nobody seemed interested in using them, so there was along line in the one line open... Not sure I'd return to this location. Really small store.

This lucky is located in a plaza with tons of places to eat like cafes, Starbucks and a Pizza hut on Mathilda. The parking lot is pretty big so that shouldn't be a problem finding a spot to drive in. I like this Lucky because it has a lot of the newer health foods and the veggies and fruits seem to be pretty fresh. Not a problem. The floral department is pretty good to pick some fresh flowers too overall, no complaints. This has been my place to pick up flowers and a few items to make smoothies on busy days because I like a lighter and textured smoothie sometimes. YEAH! The cashiers here seem to be really nice and the self check out seems to be open and operating on the weekends. Great. The bakery section in this grocery store is really sweet they've got eclairs and tiramisu and dulce de leche. I go easy on the really sugary stuff now a days but when I'm in the mood the cake here never fails! It's so legit. Overall a great place to shop no complaints. Enso #36 +/- Juices/shots/energy drinks plants yogurt _Moving going and motivated!

This Lucky is old, and it's not super fancy, but it is clean, has a decent selection, and the employees are SUPER friendly and helpful.

They had the usual array of nonstick pots, which don't work very well for me. They had a small but useful section for clay pots. I thought Amazon and AliExpress had overpriced clay pots, but I was wrong. These prices were significantly higher. I can only hope these are the best of the best. Checking up on 99 Ranch, I couldn't even find clay pots in there more limited kitchen utensil section. I ran across one item where knockoffs are ubiquitous. They've completely flooded AliExpress and you have to watch it with Amazon. Hankook had the authentic item and at significantly lower price than both Amazon and Aldi express. I found a tea section to be well stocked. I also recognize some of the tea brands. 99 Ranch has gone with lower cost options, but if you buy 6 ounces of tea, are you gonna be stuck with an enormous supply. Better to go with reliable brands that I have enjoyed in the past. I loved the produce section. It was nice and fresh. It also had wider selection of produce than other supermarkets. The store itself is stunning. The the aisles are spacious. The store is meticulously clean. The shelves are fully stocked. There were only about two items which were shopped out. The snack area and the frozen foods were even more interesting. It's obvious in those two sections that there were many more Korean brands. I should've tried some, but it's hard for me to resist snacks and there was a good chance that would finish the entire bag in one go. Better to skip it entirely. The parking lot for the supermarket is spacious. I had no trouble finding a spot even though I arrived in the late afternoon when everybody has gotten off work. I live about two hours away. And I am very jealous because there is no Hankook near me.

We have purchased a wok from here, twice, and they were reasonably priced (around $35 if I recall), and we got a spare lid for a reasonable price as well. They always have inexpensive produce, lots of fresh stuff. I got a bag of bok choy for $2. I think if you are looking for Asian produce, a great place to shop. They also have a lot of prepared foods, snack foods, etc. Everything is reasonably priced. They do have a large enough parking lot, and usually we park on the side to avoid the chaos.

Other grape offer is .99 per lbs. They are sweet. Theree are many other fruits on sale too. Althea also has veggie at good price. As it very busy and not that much space, sometimes it a bit challenge to walk around when a shopper put the shopping cart and stand in front of it. Other stuff to pay attention is when you buy the fruit in container as some might have spoiled. The worker quite diligently sort out the fruit and throw away the bad one. So, besides a coffee respite on historic Murphy/Evelyn streets, I now had a reliable source for a green/mineral-rich banana that was more carb than sugar. This busy market certainly had the green bananas I needed (its maturation into more sugar was now stopped because my much better half peeked and froze them); the highly efficient clerks steadily checked out customers, all of whom patiently waited for our turn. I was tempted by other fresh fruits/veggies/other foodstuffs, but we gave a limited amount of space available in our tiny temporary address/fridge. I was extremely pleased with my purchase--and future purchases, and certainly give it my coveted "iWheel of Approval!"
