I'll start out by saying this was the best seafood we've had thus far on our trip. The business has free valet: use it. They offer a car wash while you eat, but we did not partake in that, so I don't know if there is a cost for it. Kate was our waitress & she was fantastic. She was attentive, prompt, and friendly. She kept our drinks filled without us ever even having to ask. She also knew the menu very well. My daughter ordered the Salmon and we shared the swordfish. The roasted carrots and zucchini that came with ours were done perfectly! The flavor of the fish was amazing too. We opted for a garlic herb butter on the side, and so happy we did! The salmon was perfectly cooked too and the flavor was so satisfying. We sat outside and enjoyed the FL sun. Very clean and awesome service! We will visit again in our future visits. read more

Luff's is the real deal. The seafood lovers in my family can never get enough of this place (and I do love the shrimp gumbo). But to be honest, I think the real stars are some are the outliers. First of all, brisket tacos are some of my favorite tacos ever (I know, it surprised me too) and I have been known to order them as my entree. The burger is also one of the best around, super juicy and extra perfect when ordered with an egg on it. The steak sandwich might be my fave though, extra thick and with a great balsamic glaze. The corn bread and key lime pie also deserve honorable mentions. The only thing that would make this place better would be to add some mocktail options to the drinks menu. Very disappointing experience last night. The shared appetizeres were bland --tuna tacos and crab guacamole were both tasteless, with the guacamole loose and the crab seemingly just thrown on top. My snapper was dry and overcooked. Service was equally lacking: my friend asked about grilled shrimp (not on the menu), the server never followed up, and then unexpectedly brought out plain grilled shrimp with no sides. To top it off, the bill was $190 per couple (1 round of drinks)--completely unjustified for the poor food and lack of atmosphere. Would not return. read more

I am not sure how anyone can give this place a bad review. The service was great, bartenders were nice, the food was delicious and the ambience was perfect for a south Florida dinner experience. Our party of five needed to eat outside because someone brought their dog. Our server, Natalie, immediately brought him a bowl of ice water and greeted us with a beautiful, friendly smile. She was very patient as I almost immediately decided what I wanted to eat, but everybody else was taking their time. When I inquired about the ingredients in a certain sauce, she whipped out an ingredient list for just about every dish on the menu. Welcome to Boca! From the valets to the bussers , to the manager, everyone was very friendly and greeted us sincerely. Once the food started to arrive, we began to question our restaurant selection. One gentleman in our party ordered the mussels, which were minuscule, and he commented that it tasted like they were served in Campbell's soup. His son ordered the Sriracha wings, and he was very pleased. His mother ordered the tuna nachos, and was not impressed. My husband ordered the grilled shrimp, which were also very tiny and unimpressive. Natalie was very kind in helping me choose a fish that I would be more happy with than the grouper, so she suggested the jack in the coconut curry sauce. It was served with rice. The sauce was very nice, but the fish was overcooked and extremely dry. The highlight of our entire meal was the famous Keylime pie! It was easy to split five ways and was delicious! Can't say that I would recommend this restaurant, because only one in five of us was happy with our entrée... And that was only an appetizer. If I was going to take a friend out for dessert, this would be the place, but I won't be back for dinner. One thing that I learned growing up is never order swordfish at a restaurant unless you know they know how to cook it. Order it here! Everyone at our table of 6 got something different (I got the swordfish if you couldn't tell), and everything was great. The potatoes on the side were also excellent (as were the other sides). Luff's was highly recommended by some close friends so I decided to check it out. Emily was our server for the day in which she greeted us very promptly. She came off very stern and honestly sounded like she got called in and had no interest in being there. We ordered calamari and the oysters which were very tasty. I proceeded to order the lobster BLT and 'corn off the cob'. The lobster was very greasy, bacon was overcooked, and there was no flavor other than the sauce they put on the bun. The corn was described as elote and tasted like butter and cilantro. After eating, a young lady came to clear our table and asked "it wasn't good?" And I told her no. Nothing was done and I don't believe anyone was notified. Our server must of got lost because she was nowhere to be found after I table was cleared. It's not the best feeling looking around at an empty restaurant with almost 8 servers outside doing nothing and you can't find the one "taking care of you". First, a preface: I've been coming to Luff's with my family since they opened their doors and the service, at first, was always tremendous and wonderful. My last few visits have been nothing short of abysmal - I, like many others, take advantage of the 1$ Oyster Mondays. The Mahi Reuben? Excellent. The Crab Balls? Out of this world. The oysters? Well... The last three weeks of frequenting Luff's have resulted in an absence of oysters - none to be sold and while this isn't a dealbreaker, the fact that the only other raw shellfish alternative being clams that are 3x the price of everywhere else starts to feel like a "bait and switch" Of course, not to make a scene, I quietly asked for the manager - a short, heavyset man with a receding hairline to confirm why the oysters have been in such short supply - a valid question, I thought - but no, I was met with brazen disrespect, dismissal and: "Get here earlier if you want oysters, I don't know what to tell you" -- you don't know what to tell me? You're a manager of a premier spot in Boca Raton and you don't know what to do? Here's a bit of advice from a fellow professional, your oysters are consistently out of stock? Either get your supply in order, take the promotion off the menu, or offer the ONLY OTHER ALTERNATIVE (raw clams) for a discounted rate. Very disgusted and disgruntled, a once amazing restaurant brought low by inadequate management - shame on you. read more

My wife and I stopped here for lunch while traveling. The service was fantastic. The decor on the inside of the restaurant is very vibrant and modern. The outside seating area is very comfortable they have fans pointing everywhere which is nice. We got the crab guacamole for an appetizer, the crab tasted very fresh and the guacamole was very light and easy to eat. For our entrees we got the lobster baconaisse and the magi mahi Rueben. The lobster baconaise was tasty big bun with a good portion of lobster and bacon. The mahi Rueben was served on pumpernickel bread and it was absolutely mouthwatering it was served with French fries. I would rate the Rueben a 10 star I've had a lot of mahi Rueben's and the pumpernickel really made it the fish was grilled and juicy with just the right amount of sauerkraut. We had a piece of key lime pie for desert it was really heavy big serving great presentation. All around the service was on point and the food was top notch would recommend. read more
