To say surprised would not be an appropriately positive description. Perhaps opening by saying this was easily one of the top 5 meals I've ever had, would be more accurate. The drinks, in my case a jalapeno pineapple margherita, was fantastic. A little bite, with the pineapple cutting it nicely to not leave you stinging. Fresh oysters, which were, incredibly fresh and well presented, were classic. The main, a coconut curry grouper topped all expectations, being fresh, flaky, perfectly cooked, with rice and vegetables that were phenomenal. I ended up taking a milk chocolate cheesecake home, because who could eat anything else? The service was also very much first class; my waitress was wonderful, as was the hostess and the valet staff. If you are in Boca Raton, you must dine here. I absolutely love the ambiance of the restaurant. It was a perfect evening to sit outside. Our waitress Suzie recommended the Crab Guacamole along with several entrees, which were delicious. I felt like I was in Maine with the Lobster Roll and Cole Slaw she recommended. As a Southerner, I was extremely impressed with the Baby Back Ribs and Jalapeño Corn Bread. The Scallops and Crab Fried Rice were delicious. The service was amazing. The manager checked on us before and after we received our food. GEM alert in Boca! I stumbled across Luff's on Yelp when looking for a new (to me) restaurant to try in Boca. The reviews looked pretty good so figured we would give it a go. Tip: Luff's does not take reservations. They are a first come first serve. I recommend going a little earlier though all in all our wait was not that long at all. There are other places near by that you can grab a drink while you wait. Service: Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Knew the menu really well and offered great recommendations. Food: Now into the star of the evening. My friends and I love to get a brunch of different dishes so that we can taste more of the menu. We ordered the crab cake, crab guacamole, crab fried rice, cornbread, espresso martini, Spanish garlic shrimp. Everything was so good! The crab cake was probably my favorite as it's not a traditional one. I would say it's more like a crab bomb. It's filled with loads of lump crab and a cream sauce that is fried. The only thing I probably wouldn't get again was the guacamole. It wasn't bad by any means but it just didn't stand up to the against the rest of the dishes. If you are in the area go check them out! They have had a wait both times and the second time I decided not to wait on an outdoor table and eat inside. They do not take reservations which is the only con. The steak sandwich was oddly 3 medallions that were well done vs ordered medium that covered 3/4 of the sandwich that was oddly on toast like an old school club sandwich. Disappointing but still didn't hate it. We also had a blackened mahi mahi sandwich, very good buy it should move over to a slider menu based on the size. My husband and I are in the area for vacation and we're so glad we stumbled upon this spot! Such good, fresh food and the service was great. Had to wait for an outside table for about 15 min, but there are comfortable benches to sit on while you wait. There is some street noise but it is not very intrusive. Luffs is a welcome addition to the Newley built up Palmetto Park Road with new restaurants and new apartment buildings. With plenty of outdoor seating they provide an atmosphere of a dockside restaurant without actually being on the water. We starred with The fish dip which was just average actually however we have the part of muscles with the white wine sauce which was absolutely excellent. We also had a very good lobster quesadilla. For the main course I went for the hog fish special. If you haven't had hog fish before it's delightful and this one was pan seared perfectly with crispy skin served with your choice of sauce I went with garlic butter with some extra lemons. My wife went to the Asian flavored seared rare tuna which was also very fresh as well prepared. The service was attentive though brisk. Food orders came out very quickly so coming here for a quick weeknight dinner is very feasible. We will be back and try more items including raw bar next time around. read more

This was a nice lunch spot. First time here and it was a good experience for us. The state of mind drink was really good. I sipped it down so quick. The mango/orange combo gave it the sweet taste I was looking for. It was lacking alcohol; more of a juice in my opinion. The main dish of choice was the curry grouper. I enjoyed the grouper.
