Taste like pizza was made yesterday I ordered a slice of cheese and a slice of sausage. They put sausage crumbles on the top of the pizza but did not cover it with cheese when they re-warmed it so when I picked up the slice of cheese, all the sausage ran off of the slice.. the worker couldn't care less.. the sauce was flavorless and it was a waste of $11

First off they use canned mushrooms on their pizza!!! The eggplant parm was almost no eggplant and all breading. The sauce tasted like sauce out of a jar. Needless to say not going back. No second chance here. The pictures looked like the food was going to be good. Plenty of parking.

The prices are cheap and pizza is pretty good. I've been here many times and never been disappointed! Quick service and laid back atmosphere.

Was looking for an easy place to get takeout pizza - and this satisfied that requirement. We got an 18 inch pepperoni pizza - $21. If you are looking for pizza that is similar to NY style pizza (thin crust/floppy end), this is good. I almost didn't order here because I saw the pictures from yelp, and I didn't get a chance to snap a pic but they have updated the inside. As for the pizza, I do think the crust needed more salt. Crust is my favorite part of the pizza, and I didn't finish mine today. The sauce was good, I probably would have left it in the oven for another minute or two, I would say the cheese wasn't totally melted. Would I go back? Probably

You want the best New York tasting Pizza? Then you come to Luigi's. Even though the staff is mostly Latino they still use the Italian method to make them. A huge slice. Expect to pay about $10 for two slices and a Pepsi. Ambiance is good enough.

This place has the very best and biggest Strombolis in Charlotte. Their pizza is nothing short of amazing and the rest of the menu is great too. Everything is made fresh to order so be prepared to wait for a little while. This is not a fast food restaurant but I assure you that it is well worth the wait. Staff is very friendly. This has become my "go to" pizza place.

We visit Luigi's EVERY TIME we visit Charlotte. We've been to both Steelcroft Commons and Whitehall Commons locations and we've always left so very satisfied! Before covid we used to go to Charlotte yearly. We went back this year to go to Carrowinds and some places Uptown but first stop before doing anything was get pizza from Luigi's! Authentic and pure NY feels and the amazing taste! I can't wait to go back again!

Not only are the pizzas absolutely massive, but they're also incredibly delicious. The crust deserves a special mention, A+ all the way. It has the perfect texture and flavor and is good enough to eat on its own. Every bite was fantastic, and the quality really stands out. If you're a pizza lover, this place is a must-visit. Very clearly the best late night pizza option in Charlotte. May just be the absolute best pizza…read moreoption period. We stopped in here for a weeknight late bite when our options were somewhat limited. Thankfully at that hour, street parking in NoDa wasn't too bad, we got a spot just off the main drag. Slices here are GIGANTIC, one is easily about 3 standard slices of pizza, or two normal NY size slices. We got a pepperoni and a cheese. The pepperoni had nice kick to them and the cheese was a high quality. You had to let the pepperoni grease drain onto your plate a bit, but that is expected. The thing that makes both slices so good is the garlic butter bath all around the crust that you can see them doing in the kitchen. Not just that, but the texture in the crust will make even non-crust lovers think again. You're basically left with big doughy garlic butter breadsticks. Definitely a 5 on taste. My only complaint, and I'm sure it is partly by design to keep people from staying long, the stools you can sit on to enjoy your pizza inside the restaurant are THE WORST I have ever placed my derrier on. Even for 15 minutes, it wasn't just uncomfortable, it was painful. It took me a couple blocks to start walking correctly again. Might as well just get rid of them and have people stand to eat. Terrible. Almost knocked a star off for it, that bad. Regardless of the world's worst stools, I would come back for more pizza and just plan on not eating it there.

A couple of bites is all ya need to prepare for their delicious pizzas. My go to is light on the Pepperoni Well Done (important) and a side of hot honey sauce and a side of plain honey. Because the hot stuff ain't no joke- I have to turn down the spice by mixing the two. Then it's like the best Sweet and Salty you can dream of then the heat kicks you in the face in the best way. To top it off don't even think about leaving before you have one of their brown butter chocolate chip cookies! They are ridiculous and a must. If no room in your belly make sure to get one to go and you can heat it up to perfection when you get home.

The reason we came in to order to-go was because we weren't happy with the Door-Dash delivery of same last time. The pizza just didn't travel well. This time with our to-go order it traveled a bit better and was fresher. We think it would be even better (4 stars) if we dined in. We also had a nice salad of mixed greens with dried cherries and the like, but it didn't come tossed. The dried cherries were in one corner, the onions in another ... you get the idea. Tossing would have made it easier to eat on-the-go. But the service people were very nice, and the store was clean and roomy with a semi-open kitchen. We'd give this place another try next time when dining in.

I'll admit I was initially a little hesitant, but the food won me over quickly. The three of us all ordered different pizzas so we could try a variety of options. I ordered the Davila, my boyfriend had the Tuscan, and his friend ordered the Stella. Every pie was very well executed. The crust provided a great foundation--light with a good chew--and the ingredients tasted fresh and thoughtfully paired. Each pizza had its own distinct flavor profile while still feeling balanced and authentic. The dessert menu was also surprisingly strong. They offered a good variety of gelato flavors, and unlike some restaurants where desserts feel like an afterthought, these clearly felt traditionally made and carefully considered. One of the highlights of the evening was the lemon blueberry cannoli. The flavor profile was bright, fresh, and perfect for spring. The shells also tasted house-made, which is always an automatic plus in my book. I also really appreciated the restaurant's effort toward sustainability. Their compostable takeout containers and other environmentally conscious touches stood out to me. I'd love to eventually see them continue moving in that direction by phasing out plastic cups and offering more environmentally friendly alternatives for bottled drinks as well. My only real criticism had to do with the atmosphere during part of the evening. Someone I believe may have been one of the owners was seated nearby with his child while also seemingly trying to check on the restaurant. I completely understand that parents sometimes need to bring children along, especially in hospitality, but the child was repeatedly running across the restaurant and weaving through dining areas in a way that became somewhat disruptive to nearby tables. It would have been nice to see a bit more preparation to help keep them occupied during service. That said, the quality of the food really stood out, and overall Inizio Pizza Napoletana was a memorable stop during our trip to Charlotte. I'd absolutely return again for the pizza and desserts alone.

The waiter was efficient, not friendly but not unfriendly either, just doing his job pretty much. Would have been nice to have him check on us once or twice but again not the biggest deal. The pizza: my son really enjoyed it and gave it a 5/5 and hubby ranked it a 3/5. He thought the crust was a tad too soggy. Side Caesar: 3/5 had some pieces of the lettuce that should have never made it in the salad and the dressing was just okay. Morty: also a 3/5. Too much arugula, we took some out and then seasoned the rest with s&p and some crushed red pepper flakes. It just lacked a depth of flavor and the bread and arugula overpowered it. The seasoning helped a bit. I even added garlic aioli based on a review I read on here but I didn't taste it. The pasta salad it came with also lacked flavor, though very green and appearing loaded with flavor it was not. And when eating it, the texture was very gummy. Didn't finish that. Overall, it was okay but I'm not likely to return just because there are better options based on the things we tried. But taste is subjective and it just wasn't our vibe today. But check it out for yourself because we only tried three things and the pictures of the other pizzas do look amazing. That is all!

Their patio is so fun, the street you overlook is pretty chill so there weren't a lot of cars or noise. The area has good enough traffic for decent people watching, that's always fun. Our server was so funny and cool. I wish I could remember his name, but he was having a good convo with the person I was with about basketball and it was just really nice. It felt like I was home on my couch hanging with friends. It's such a cool chill place. I loved the pizza, olives app and the old fashioned. It was nice to actually meet the owner too, he is the person who greeted us when we walked in and he was really nice. This place just seems like a good neighborhood spot. If I lived closer I'd probably go a lot more often. Great spot!!

Review for Pizza Baby…read more After a relaxing Vinyasa yoga class and sound bath at The Coterie Wellness one evening, I found myself hungry--and conveniently, Pizza Baby had just opened in the same complex. Perfect timing. Since it was still new, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and I decided to grab a table outside. The outdoor seating was lovely--relaxed, comfortable, and a great way to unwind after a wellness session. I'm a sucker for thin-crust pizza, especially when it's hand-tossed and thoughtfully prepared, so one item immediately caught my eye: the rosemary pizza with hot honey. Sold. I added Italian sausage to the pizza and paired it with a fresh green salad (I can never resist a good Green Goddess dressing). Yes, it was a little on the pricey side, but the quality matched the cost--and I was genuinely pleased with my choices. The crust was thin and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the hot honey added just the right touch of sweetness and heat. This is definitely a place I'd return to--next time with friends--so we can share a few different pizzas and appetizers and really explore the menu. A few practical notes: * Parking is generally easy since the restaurant shares a lot with neighboring businesses in the complex * There are several nearby spots, including a wine bar and entertainment venues, which make the area feel lively * There was some early parking congestion when a nearby church held services, but the situation has since been addressed with signage and coordinated parking solutions It's nice to see businesses and community partners working together to make things run smoothly. There's also another location of Pizza Baby that I plan to visit, which speaks to how positive my first experience was. Bottom line: Great thin-crust pizza, pleasant outdoor seating, and a convenient stop after yoga or an evening out. A solid addition to Charlotte's growing food scene--and absolutely worth checking out. And if you're already in the area for a class or wellness session, it makes for the perfect post-workout reward.
