Ordered delivery to our new house in Cadence while we did some errands around the house. The delivery took a tiny bit longer than stated but the pizza was fresh. Only problem was it was not as ordered. 2 of the toppings we requested for the whole pizza were only on half the pizza so the other half was sort of plain, BUT it was fresh and rast

Luigis is always a favorite of ours because it's convenient from our house and depending on what you get, it can be a slam dunk. We usually get takeout which is a quick and easy process. This go round we decided to eat inside and it was a pleasant experience. They were busy on a Saturday evening but no mind because our service was quick and efficient. The food here is the thing that can be hit or miss. I've figured out that I don't like their pizzas or subs. BUT their chicken parmesan is sooo crave-able. So that's my go to along with their garlic knots. It was my first time trying the mussels and I loved those as well! Our cocktails not so much, so I'd probably save your money there. As soon as you figure out what it is that you like at Luigi's, it'll become a staple in your household like it has become in mine!

So just had cocktails and food Latin music blaring and it pissed me off! The cook said he couldn't change it!

Nice Italian food in a small modern space. I visited Luigi's for the first time last night and had a great time. The space is small, clean, and filled with happy diners. I started with the garlic knots. They were small and a little dense, but were wonderfully garlic-buttered and served with a thick marinara. My entreee, the eggplant parmigiana, was really nice. The most impressive part of the meal was the crispy breading on the eggplant. I was also able to customize my meal by choosing angel hair pasta instead of the two choices listed (spaghetti and penne). The sauce wasn't my favorite. It was thick and wasn't very warm. The rest of my dish was warm and delish though! Also, the portion was hearty, so I had leftovers. Service was quick and friendly. Also, they were able to split the bill without issue between different members of my group. An advantage of this place is that there are several other fun spots in the same plaza. The Village Beverage Co. is right across the small parking lot. So, if you're trying to have a nice night out, you can easily hit both spots! Overall, I'd visit Luigi's again!

I joined a group of friends for dinner here last night and was surprised at how good everything was. It was busy and on the smallish side inside the dining room but everything was delicious. Everyone I was dining with thoroughly enjoyed their food. I ordered the cheeseburger since my lunch was on the larger size. The burger was average size, very well cooked and seasoned very well, and the battered fries were delicious. My wife and I also shared a small order of garlic knots. They were so tasty!!

Okay I have been holding off on writing a review for Luigis because my first few experiences (back during Covid) were not the best and we stopped coming in. Not to mention I do not like writing negative reviews. Moving on to the present... In the last few months we have decided to give Luigis another shot and I am sure glad we did. We have come in a minimum of one lunch and dinner a week. I love that they have lunch/dinner menu specials and some sort of special running for every night of the week. Everything we have ordered has been fresh and tasty. My favorite thing I have ordered recently was the garlic lemon shrimp with cauliflower risotto. The flavors were outstanding and risotto was perfect! I think they should make this a staple menu item, just saying!! We usually sit at the bar and the service is always friendly, prompt, and helpful. We enjoy chatting up the bartenders! If you're in the area definitely recommend Luigi's

Tonight was my first time here. I started with the spicy cauliflower bites. They were crispy and spicy but nothing I would order again. I added the garlic knots which were good. They were on a plate in a bed of melted butter with marinara sauce. I thought they were pretty good. I ordered the Philly Steak and it was juicy. I liked it and will try some pasta next time. I tasted a friends Chicken Parm with Penne pasta and it was pretty good. The wine was half off tonight and I had the Malbec which was very good! They have a generous beer and wine menu along with liquors. We will be back to try more foods!

Doesn't bother me, just something to note. They also have desserts up front like cannolis and cheesecake. It was a little pricy at $37 per person and we had about 10 people. I don't have a desire to do again but it was a fun one-time activity.

Don't dress up for this casual place, they serve wine in little juice glasses. Just like my Italian relatives did. The pizza itself was as close to NYC pizza, but it does miss the boat with the distribution of ingredients. We ordered the Livorno pizza. Each slice was a venture, some had sauce, some didn't. You may or may not get sausage. One slice had the golden ticket, sauce, sausage, cheese and basil! The crust was delicious, just like the pizza I ate 5 days ago in NYC. The sauce wasn't as good in comparison, but it was still very good. We may be back again.

They have added items from other locations once a quality supplier was found - like lobster from Maine, oysters from Virginia, puffer fish from Virginia also. The truck heads back inland, and they sell their fare staring Friday at noon, and will be selling on Saturday, and even Sunday, if supplies last. You can go to their excellent website, register, signup for their weekly newsletter, and place your orders, and specify a pickup time and location - works seamlessly. Once you sign up for the newsletter, you will receive info on Thursday about what items are available, and you can make your selections. The weekly items vary depending on availability and seasonality, but frequently available items include: several choices of shrimp, clams, crab, oysters, scallops, Black Drum, Chilean Sea Bass, Cobia Steaks (you really need to try these bad boys), Cod, Flounder, Grouper, Halibut, Red Snapper, Swordfish, Triggerfish (see Cobia Steaks), and Tuna! Suggestion (notice I didn't say Pro Tip, that so sucks), if you've never had Puffer Fish, get some - the fish is incredibly ugly and I threw them back in for years, but these are awesome just lightly floured and fried - you could close your eyes and have trouble telling whether you are eating frogs legs, chicken tenders, or crayfish.
