Luke's is your no frills Chinese cafeteria, fast casual style restaurant with authentic taste. Similar to 99 Ranch's cafe, you select from a variety of premade dishes for combo plates. Food is good and will satisfy cravings, but it's not a place to go to showcase the best Chinese food of Portland. I'll definitely be back as I like these types of places to get a good, quick meal.

This is a newer place that opened up in town recently. It reminds me of a Panda Express, but more authentic. They have plenty of options to choose from and you can have up to 3 different sides while building your combination meal. We each got a 3 side combo meal so it allowed us to try a decent amount of their offerings. The food is good and portions are generous for what they charge. I enjoyed the spicy chicken, crispy pork belly, mapo tofu, and string beans. I liked that it also have you the option to have a side of cold dish and a soup/drink with your combo meal. The interior is spacious and plenty of room for dining in.

Finally stopped in with the family to grab some takeout and we were greeted by the friendly staff and patiently waited on as we decided what to try from the wide range of choices (see photos). The fried rice, chicken with pineapple, and beef with zucchini mushroom earned my kids' approval. I really enjoyed the fried homemade noodle, the three cup chicken and crispy pork belly. While there are many clean tables and you can dine in, this is not a fancy place. For the price point, I don't know why anyone would complain or think otherwise. While I can see the concern of food sitting out for too long, they seem to have a steady flow of customers and was able to quickly make more when we ordered more noodles. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

If you enjoy simple Chinese takeout that offers a generous amount of food at an affordable price, then you will love Luke's. For just $16, you get to choose two proteins, a selection of sides, one cold dish, and one hot soup. The restaurant features a buffet line similar to Panda Express, where you can select between fried rice and two types of noodles. Depending on your combo choice, you can also pick from a wide variety of vegetable and protein dishes. The menu includes traditional Chinese-American favorites like orange chicken and kung pao chicken, as well as less common options such as cumin beef, salt and pepper pork, and mapo tofu. After selecting your sides and entrees, you can choose a cold dish, which includes options like spicy cold beef, cucumber salad, or shredded chicken salad. Additionally, you can select either a hot soup or a cold drink. As you can imagine, this is an enormous amount of food.Everything I tried was delicious, and I'm excited to return and sample more selections. The owners were incredibly friendly and mentioned that they just opened last week, so they are still figuring out the details of the restaurant. We're thrilled to have them join our community, and we look forward to supporting them with more visits.

Ma Po tofu, dry fried green beans, salt and pepper pork chop. I/2 fried rice plus 1/2 hand made noodles.

Consistently good food, service, cleanliness and ambiance. What more can we ask for? Noodles are made fresh daily, by hand. Owners are friendly and truly appreciate their customers. 20% discount is offered to all during their first two weeks of operation.

So happy we saw the grand opening sign after getting groceries at asian family market! Everyone was super kind and helpful and we totally had a feast. The combo menu can look a bit confusing at first, "toppings" are the equivalent of entrees at the Panda chain (beef and chicken standards as well as mapo tofu and other spicier fare). Delicious handmade noodles as the base (what they call an entree here) and we splashed out and got the combo that included the cold dish and very glad we got the spicy cucumber salad. Next time we'll have to get the beef braised noodles!

Great Chinese food. Friendly staff and its local. Prices are reasonable and nothing beats fresh homemade taste over a restaurant chain.

They also serve rice dishes. As a blackbean noodle addict I can attest this is the best place hands down. They use potato starch in their batter for their pork which makes it so deliciously crispy but with that mochi type of bite. The jjang sauce is thick and doesn't disintegrate so you're able to dip the pork in it. Service is good and they give you free pickled radish! However, the dish I was most excited about, the Jajangmyeon, was disappointing -- the flavor was very mild and lacked depth. Unfortunately, the sweet and sour pork was not good at all. While it was battered and fried, most pieces were almost entirely batter with very little actual pork inside, which was quite disappointing. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly, and I really liked the clean and pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant. However, because the food did not meet my expectations overall, I'm giving this place

We got lucky and pulled into the last open spot. There were a good amount of people inside but we were seated right away. They have a little shop area in the front that was super cute too. Their menu is pretty large but in the best way. There's literally something for everyone from spring rolls to pho to banh mi. My friend and I each got our own DIY spring roll set and I got a cup of beef pho broth with an order of rice noodles to make a mini bowl of pho for myself on the side. The spring roll set comes with 4 sheets of rice paper, fresh veggies (lettuce, basil, cucumber, pickled carrots), rice noodles, your choice of protein (we chose pork sausage), and dipping sauce. The pho broth was flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The spring rolls came out amazing and were so filling. My only suggestion would be to have the carrots shredded instead of sliced to get a more even distribution within the spring rolls. But overall it was a fantastic meal. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

We started with Beef Masala Skewer -- yogurt-marinated beef with a Masala spice blend. The two skewers were perfectly seasoned and cooked -- so tender I could cut them with a fork. The flavor was rich, savory, and deeply satisfying. For our vegetable dish, we ordered the Stir-Fried Snap Peas with roasted garlic. The snap peas were crisp and perfectly cooked, and the garlic added just the right amount of depth. The portion was generous, too! We also tried the Chicken Karaage, sake-marinated fried chicken served with spicy Kewpie mayo. This classic Japanese dish didn't disappoint -- crispy, flavorful, and comforting. And last but not least, the the Salmon Poke Tower -- fresh salmon, sesame, avocado, mango, and cilantro. The salmon was melt-in-your-mouth fresh, and the flavors of mango, sesame, and the sauce came together perfectly. This might have been my favorite dish of the night! It all made for the perfect amount of food for two people. We drank some decaf green tea and enjoyed every moment of the experience. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was amazing -- cozy, beautifully designed, and it really reminded me of Japan. The outdoor area is gorgeous and perfectly manicured; I can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy it. Old Asia is an absolute gem -- thoughtful dishes, incredible flavors, and such a warm, inviting space. I'll definitely be back!

We went on a Tuesday night and the place was already packed. The server, at least on the day we went, was working OVER TIME. There was only 1 server and she operated as the bar tender, hostess, and server. I understand that its a small location but she was running and was still incredibly friendly despite the fact. The food is amazing. Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic and we had a lot. We tried the Fire Fish Soozi, the Salmon Poke Bowl, the chicken Karaage, Garlic chicken noodles, and the Fried beef with garlic fried rice. I know a lot of the dishes have garlic in their name, just know that garlic is quite predominant flavor amongst multiple dishes. Definitely on the pricier side for starters, but the portions are decent and the flavors are good.

After searching on Yelp, we were glad to find this place in old downtown Beaverton and so my daughter and I decided to check it out after watching the Masters of the Universe movie at nearby Century 16. The Korean Corn Dogs did not disappoint. I loved the sweet, crunchy coating on the outside and of course the cheese on the inside. The corn dog didn't have a full-size dog from end to end but that didn't matter as you get a chance to work your way to it at the end after you get through the cheesy part. Corn dogs came drizzled with ketchup and mustard but you may want to ask ahead of time not to put that if you're not a traditional kind of corn dog eater or if you want yours plain. We got the 3 pack for $12. We also grabbed a side order of cheese corn and seafood pancake. I found the pancake not having many pieces of seafood in it and mostly scallions so not my favorite.
