the girls that work at lulu are the sweetest girls ever! i got my rook jewelry changed here since i lost the ball on my old one and they were so patient with me i have a little thing that makes me get really sensitive to pain and i tend to pass out easily :,c the girls were super accommodating with this though and gave me some water and snacks which was so sweet the jewelry change fee was $15 which is pretty average but their jewelry prices are more on the pricey side. i paid $80 for new rook jewelry which could've been better quality jewelry imo services are good but jewelry is a littleee... expensive... so just keep that in mind read more

I was helped in the beginning with ear styling and it was recommended to change out my hoop to possibly a stud (so when I got home I did). I somehow got a targeted ad from them on Instagram. I love how they specialize in stacked piercings and designing your ear. My original lobe piercing is a bit high so I wanted a stacked piercing that would help to close the gap on my lobe. And while I'm already getting pierced I decided to do my second lobe too! Scheduled appointments for me and my friends birthday about two days prior and they did have a bunch of openings. We arrived about 15 minutes early, and worked with the girl (super sweet - didn't catch her name) to get our consent forms signed and design our ears. While the piecing itself is not too expensive what really catches you is their jewelry cost, which must be purchased to get pierced. They provide titanium and gold options. After we picked out our jewelry we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for the next piercer. Anastasia was the one to pierce us and she really took the time to explain what she was doing and perfect where the piecing would go and made adjustments as needed. This place is top tier. I'm stoked I came across it instead of taking my 10 year old to a tattoo shop or Claire's.. The gentleman who did her lobe piercing was incredibly patient, kind & sympathetic but quick! My daughter wanted to get her ears pierced but forgot a needle has to actually go through your ear. After a few minutes of he and I talking to her she did it! And it was quick with minimal discomfort. I'm so grateful that he was our guy, there wasn't any rush on his behalf of her being nervous and asking questions. Wow, Lulu Ave Piercings really said loyalty means nothing! My friends and I have been coming here for years--ALL of us got our belly buttons pierced here, but clearly, that means jack shit to them. My friend was supposed to get her nipples pierced today, but the front desk lady was on a power trip of the century. We called a week ago to confirm if a birth certificate plus another ID (like a debit card or school ID) would be fine. They said yes. We show up, and suddenly, it's "No, that's not valid" with the nastiest attitude imaginable. Mind you, there's LITERALLY a sign at the front desk listing "birth certificate" as an acceptable form of ID. So which is it? Because at this point, y'all are just making up rules on the spot. I pointed out how misleading their sign is (because, duh), and instead of fixing their mistake or even acting remotely professional, the front desk lady SNATCHED the waiver out of my friend's hand the second she realized she only had the birth certificate. Like, relax. Then, as if one rude employee wasn't enough, some other guy jumped in to back her up. They both had the smuggest attitudes, showed zero remorse, and honestly looked pleased that they got to turn her away. Imagine being that miserable at your job. If you want inconsistent policies, attitude for no reason, and customer service that makes you want to rip your own piercing out and throw it at the wall, this is the place for you. I made an appointment online a week prior for near closing time. When I arrived, I was discouraged of how long the line was. Harout and an employee check me in and explained how I need to fill out the screening form online. After I was done, the employee took me in to show me the earring that I wanted and to purchase it. I got the Titanium Crystal Trinity Pushback! After purchasing, I was then told to go back outside to wait in the long line. While waiting, I understood that it was near closing time, so it must be tiring for the employees when there is a long line outside. I didn't mind the wait. Miss the old shops aesthetic and atmosphere, shop lacks character now and has changed to meet the needs of the millennials. Shop has a hospital sterile feel to it now, bland and uninviting. Due to the employee so involved with her cell phone not paying any attention to the line cue that was created due to COVID requirements. Once we were allowed in shop, my daughter wanted assistance on what she could do with her earlobes. Asked the staff member how many piercings in a day she could do in her ear, was told unlimited amount. Just mattered on how much my daughter could handle. What my daughter was wanting it help im creating a ear style from top to bottom of earlobe. This should have been the employees cue to upsell the entire earlobe with piercing, but no. The staff member was again, just bland and gave her only 3 options, but told my daughter that she could do more in her earlobe. So why not show her all the options. First off, he is so great at his job! Second, he's incredibly humble. Third, he makes your session personal and takes his time! I've gone back twice now! And the hour drive is WELL worth it! The first round I received my Conch, septum, and then I changed out my cartilage piercings. Round two is when I received my Rook, second lobe piercing, and Tragus. Highly recommended! I booked appointment for Helix piercing, but I had been so nervous because first time cartilage. Forgot his name but my piercer was obviously knowledgeable. Honestly I did not feel pain at all. I have been healing process for a month and no trouble so far. It was so worth it drive an hour from my home. UPDATE: so as it would turn out they pierced my Arreolas not my nipples. A year out and they migrated FORWARD. Had to get them removed. Idk if the knuckle heads who run the place still inconvenience their customers to film YouTube videos in the main shop, but point is AVOID THIS PLACE. The shop I got my nipples corrected at told me that they had SEVEN botched lulus clients in THIS WEEK. Response to owner: I can't reply to your comment so here's where I respond. 1. If you actually read my review you'd spell my name correctly and understand I was saying you were filming content when you were supposed to be taking in clients not that you forced anyone to make content. 2. If you knew anything about piercings (which clearly none of you do) you'd know that if you have migration like that YOU CANT RE PIERCE THE AREA FOR AT LEAST A YEAR. My best friend and I decided to get second lobe earrings and choose to come to Lulu's since they have walk in availability and wonderful reviews. I've previously been to another piercing shop but wanted to try somewhere new. We walked into a beautiful and bright studio. The decor was very cute and had pops of color. They had the Tiktok famous mirror. I also want to note it was completely spotless which is the number one thing I always notice about places . Ilieana at the front desk instantly greeted us and we felt very welcomed. She asked what brought us to the store and we told her we both wanted second lobe piercings. So she she instantly took out the jewelry options and then put it close to our ear to see if we would like it . She was so patient with me as I am indecisive. I went with the 14k gold , and I got the star and moon. I have more sensitive ears so I wanted to get the 14k gold. My friend got the titanium jewelry and also got the star and moon. We had so much fun talking to Ilieana she was so friendly and funny! Next we went to a room where we met our piercer whose name was Miya ! She was so friendly and knowledgeable. She was the best and made this experience quick and easy. She walked us through the process and explained every step.The room itself was super cute and clean. The piercing process was quick and easy! The total was about $200 (a little more tbh) to have the piercing done, jewelry purchase, and the saline spray ($15). They only have quality, hypoallergenic jewelry so that is why there is a pretty penny. Definitely book an appointment beforehand. They're pretty busy so it's best to have it scheduled rather than walk-in. Though walk-in is fine I think. Front staff was cool. She helped me pick out a jewelry. I got the baguette! Love it. Harrison helped me with my piercing! Cool guy and did a good job. I also came back recently for a checkup. This time I talked to Johnny. Great checkup and learned a bit more about the healing process. He was really gentle and gave me good advice. I'll be coming back soon to hopefully downsize and get another piece of jewelry. My post is currently long because of the swelling that happens on the first months of healing, so hopefully I can downsize to a shorter/normal post size. This was a bit of an emergency stop. Started a new job that didn't want me showing my septum jewelry so I had to buy a new horseshoe bar. Came in and didn't feel super welcomed. The two girls working at the counter were talking to each other and didn't seem to want to acknowledge me. One of them looked at my nose and said I was pierced low. I told them my piercer said Asian anatomy is different. She cut me off and said well it's still low. So we picked out jewelry which was reasonably priced. And they told me it was $5 to put in. She tried pushing the new jewelry in but it was hurting so I told her my current hoop was 18g and she said no it's 16. Then she told me to flip it up. I didn't get to wash my hands, which I thought was unsanitary. Then she told me to always wash my hands before touching it, ironically. Overall, okay to buy jewelry in a pinch but I wouldn't feel comfortable getting pierced here or coming back. read more

I got my lower earlobe pierced (wanted 4 additional piercings). The process was effortless and they even gave me a free saline spray because I spent a lot... I've bought cartilage jewelry from them before and got a cute dagger which I adore!! My body modification artist was super sweet and she walked me through the entire process. She even found one of my 2 earring holes was open and she was able to refund me some money. The whole process took less than an hour (3 piercings and 1 piercing hole needed to input an earring). I'm mainly into tattoos so I was a little nervous since I haven't pierced in ages. The pain only lasted a second and then there was heat. But otherwise not bad at all. I got my conch pierced last year and it was great. Two weeks ago I got my mid helix and a stacked lobe. I went back on Sunday because the post on my lobe was too short and when my ear swelled up, it swallowed the back of my earring. I removed a star because when I went back for a longer post, they charged me a service fee and for the post. They did end up waiving the service fee but I had to ask why they were charging in the first place. They told me the shorter post was standard but the skin on my lobe is thicker. The piercer should have recognized it was too short for the anatomy of my ear. The earring was tight on my lobe from the start and there was no room for swelling. I had to pay $15 for the longer post but they did waive the service fee. Overall, my experience has been positive with just the one issue. read more
